Level-All Reviews (%countItem)

We had Level All come out to level three sections of driveway and two smaller sections of walkway that leads to our porch. We are extremely unhappy with the end product. They raised the one slab of driveway 1/2" and the other two pieces they were not able to raise to be level due to "unforeseeable conditions" they told us. They also cracked our driveway near the garage when they tried to raise the middle piece without fully sawing the existing joint near the brick. This also caused a very large tripping hazard & separation now between the two slabs which were level before they started the job. The two employees working the the job agreed it was not right but they couldn't do anything about it. Their supervisor came out after our call to him and also said we signed the contract and unfortunately they could only take off $200 from the total due. Absolutely ridiculous. Our driveway looks much worse than it did before they arrived. I would not recommend their services. Complete WASTE of money for a inferior product and service.

Mrs. We appreciate your review and have outlined our response below.
Your review was written on July 22, 2020 and Level All attempts to resolve the issue with you on Friday July 24, 2020.
Myself the owner, Level All’s Production Supervisor, and one of our crews returned to your location on Friday July 24, 2020 afternoon to attempt to identify the “unforeseen circumstances” that you mention and what we found is that when the driveway’s concrete was poured against the garage foundation wall with no expansion joint. This is abnormal and improper construction practices through no fault of Level All. In addition this would not have been identified until the project started. Level All spent time attempting to cut and separate this concrete piece at no additional charge to you for this abnormality. After using a concrete saw and chipping hammers, it was determined that the abnormal construction continued from the driveway into the garage and the concrete attached to the garage was much thicker than the driveway. Level All determined that the integrity of the concrete would not allow for additional pressure to be applied as it was starting to develop hairline cracks due to the abnormal construction.
Level All did raise the one section of the concrete by 1.25” versus the .5” you stated. The only piece that was not lifted was the piece that was abnormally constructed.
Level All sent the original estimate to you on June 18, 2020 at 11:21 am. The estimate was accepted 5:12 pm. The estimate states that “Level All will attempt to lift, level, stabilize the ground and void fill under the slabs.” Level All did fulfill this. The estimates also states that “If concrete will not lift due to abnormal construction, unforeseen circumstances, or has concrete piers Level All will stabilize and warranty against further settlement.” Level All went even further and issued a discount of the service which was $500 off the total project (more than you stated in your review) strictly as a customer service as we were sympathetic to the abnormal construction. Level All was told that nothing short of perfection would have made you satisfied. This simply was not able to be accomplished due to inferior construction practices performed by the contractor who installed the driveway.
It is Level All’s policy to discuss these possibilities during the estimating process, in the estimate on the front page, as well as the initial walk through before the project is started; therefore, you were aware this could have occurred. Level All made you aware of the situation at the time of the project on July 22 and we have attempted to resolve the issue with you on July 24, 2020.
Sincerely

Great job by the team from the salesmen consulting me in the project, the office team scheduling it, to the techs getting the job completed. I was happy to see my driveway and sidewalk level again! Thanks for the great work.

the salesman told me they might not be able to raise the sidewalk back level with the rest of the sidewalk if there was concrete leakage under another section. However when I moved in the house it was level and fell over time. They raise the second section maybe 1/2 inch and the major piece was not raised any noticeable amount and were here only an hour.. They were going to charge me $950 and I argued down to 750 but the it looks like they actually did nothing. BEWARE they are charging a lot for very inadequate work

Mrs. Brothers
Level All arrived at your location attempted to perform the service. As I explained to you in the initial consultation the concrete had settled and slid under the piece proceeding it. I also said I was not sure if it would lift back into place due to these circumstances. Level All arrived and performed the work that was discussed. Level All also discounted this project 20% for the material that wasn’t used since the concrete would not lift into place. Level All warranties the the project and stabilization of the concrete if it does not level which was discussed at the time of estimate.

My wife and I have been in our home for almost 20 years and had some settling in our driveway that had become tripping hazards. Level all came out and level/stabilized it for us and we are very pleased with their work.

My driveway had sections that were uneven. The crew was able to level the driveway to eliminate the issue!

Although the three employees that arrived at my house were extremely professional and nice to work with, the end result was the concrete only moved about 1/2". They worked for two hours and charged me $700 which is what they originally quoted me. They stated that they aren't always able to level the concrete and would run the risk of cracking the concrete if they tried to move it any more than they did. I would not have hired them to move it 1/2", if I would have known that was a possibility. I still have uneven concrete and paid $700. I offered to pay them $350 for their two hours of time but they were insistent that they needed $700 because it was not their fault they could not move it. I am very disappointed that the concrete is still uneven.

Mrs.,
Level All strives for excellent customer service. We are surprised to hear this review online with no call to the office for a remedy. Please allow me return and look at this issue to examine what the issue that caused the concrete not to level. I am hopeful that through communication we can work to resolve the issue. Please feel free to call me at *** to schedule a time.

We decided to select Level All to perform work on our driveway and back patio. Level All's estimator was professional and called before coming out. I met with Nate and he explained that the issue causing the dropping of concrete slabs was due to a down spout which he recommended be fixed as well. The work was scheduled and the crew showed up on time Carvin was the foreman and was very professional and informative as well. The driveway and patio were perfectly level with no trip hazards.

Terrible and I would have given no stars if the system would allow. The salesman said they could get my steps back somewhere close to normal after dropping 4-5 inches. The workers were at my house for 75 minutes, raised the steps by less than 1/2 an inch and still charged me $875. When I called the owner to discuss the disappointing results and high price, he tried justifying it by saying the van they were driving cost $100,000 and he doesn't make much on $900 jobs. I was very cordial and explained I get he is in the business of making money, but $875 for 75 minutes of work with terrible results seemed high. He offered a $100 off, which I thought was too little. He claims they pumped all this foam into the steps, but I don't understand where all the foam went if the steps only moved 1/2 an inch versus their original projection of 3-4 inches. Buyer beware.

Excellent customer service and the guys left the job site clean. My concrete sank in several places in the sidewalk and they were able to get it back to level!
Thanks

I am very disappointed in the final results of this project. My estimate was for 1200 dollars, the technicians were at my home all day and the slab was raised only by half of an inch, which I can't really tell if it is raised or not. The job could not be completed but I was still charged another 787 dollars 200 were discounted from the total. I am still out of 1000 dollars for half an inch being raised. I would not recommend. Nothing is mentioned if the job cannot be finished .

We had a sinking and cracked driveway. It looked really bad and because it was uneven it was a tripping hazard. We called around and had a couple of estimates and after looking into a couple of companies we chose Level-All.
They used the high density polyurethane material to raise and support the cement slabs.
We could not have been happier with our choice.
They were courteous, prompt and I would highly recommend them. In fact just as they were leaving my neighbor came over to take a look and will be giving them a call.
Thank you Shawn and Myron for doing such a professional job and for not charging me any more for the extra material it took to finish it.
I give Level-All A+ all around!!
