I ended up paying the debt because I am in the process of buying a house and could not proceed with the mortgage application without the payoff letter. Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
tom said that my car didn't have no key signal and recommended my car get a key reader and once I got the key reader that my car had key signal.that is a lie and just something to say to cover up why they charged me for that key reader. alex was the person I was dealing with at the time and alex told me there mechanic believes the reason why my car wouldn't start is because of the key signal reader. I said ok so how much will that be. he gave me a price. I agreed to pay it and then he gave me a date on when I should get my car back from being fixed. that date came I called to get my car and alex told me that the key signal piece didn't fix the problem. because the key signal wasn't the problem].so then thats how they came up with the solution that it could  probably be a faulty ecm why they are not getting no signal or any response. so they just charged me for the key reader for no reason cause that was not the problem with my car and there own worker alex even said it.so now alex tells me they believe it is either the ecm or the engine wiring harness. they told me I can wait for about a week for them to get a used car in to take the ecm out of that one and put it in my car or I can buy my own.but they wasn't sure if it was the ecm  or the engine wiring harness.so I said ill just wait cause I don't wanna spend the money on a new ecm and thats not the problem either. cause they was not sure what it was after hours  of diagnostics.so the week goes by and they still didn't get the ecm in from a used car. so since it was going to take forever for them to get a ecm in, I told alex if I could get a used ecm that works I will do it for only a couple hundred cause I don't have that much money. alex suggested to me that I should call [redacted] junkyard to see if they got one.lex gave me the serial number for the ecm and I called [redacted] for the ecm and gave them the serial number and they sent nissan the ecm. then nissan tells me that that ecm must be the wrong one cause they was not getting no reactions from it. so then thats nissans fault [once again] cause alex gave me the serial number for that ecm and I gave it to [redacted] so they sent it but anyways. so I call back and ask for alex and nissan tells me that alex doesn't work there no more. so now I gotta start all over again with someone else. so I ask if I can speak to the manager cause I'm tired of dealing with all this unprofessional nonsense.they put me on the phone with tom. I tell tom everything about what happened and I say "if you guys know for a fact its the ECM or the engine wiring harness I will pay for it.but I don't wanna pay for something thats not the problem.tom tells me alright so we have to do more diagnostics. I said alright.then tom calls and says that he is 99.9% sure I need a new ecm. so I say lets get it. tom orders the piece and gives me a date on when I should have my car back. the date comes and now tom is saying that they have to get a new timing belt cause my timing belt is loose now [they keep milking me for my money back to back and I believe they don't even know what they are doing]. I say ok lets get the timing belt. tom gives me another date on when I should have my car.the date comes I call them and guess what, now they believe its cause I need new spark plugs. so I pay for the spark plugs too and now guess what, they believe I need a new oil change cause the engine still wouldn't start up or it was taking a couple of trys to get the engine to start up I told them before they even started working on the car that the engine has starting problems and it takes a couple of trys for the engine to start and some times it won't start.so I just need that problem to get fixed so they give me another date on when to get my car. I get it and pay $2500 for all the work they did to it and all the unnecessary pieces they put into it. they tell me since there is a new ecm in it that I have to drive it so it can get used to how I drive.so I drove it to lake george and while I was exiting the highway the car just shut down on me and stopped working after all that money I gave them to fix it. I call them and they get it towed to nissan.now they are saying I need a new valve cover gasket and a engine mount. I say ok and pay them another $600. then I got my car back and now everytime I press the brakes quickly the car stalls out.my car never had a stalling out problem but now it does.now here is were tom is lying again. cause I just had my valve cover and valve cover gasket get fixed a week before nissan even touched my car from [redacted] and I have receipts of proof to show that. I can even have you guys call them and ask them about my valve cover and they will tell you there was nothing wrong with it.I even had all my oils changed  before nissan even got my car so it was well maintained. I got my cadillac converter fixed from ankers auto service like 2 weeks before nissan got my car and there is recipes for proof if needed. so tom is just making up lies on why they charged me for all that unnecessary stuff. that shows that tom and nissan don't really know what is wrong with my car they were just assuming that a whole bunch of stuff was the issue with it and they was wrong.tom also said in his response that he gave me a estimate to replace my cadillac converter and I declined and demanded my money back. first off your estimate was another $1400. I already gave you guys about $3200 to fix the problems that was wrong with my car and get it running like it should and you guys failed to do that. so what makes you think I'm going to give you guys another $1400??? plus I already know I got my cadillac converter fixed from anker auto parts so why would I pay to get that fixed again. then your saying I demanded my money back? NO actually I said you guys need to fix my car because you guys promised me that my car would be running fine after I got all those things fixed and payed you guys all that money. then you told me that I would have to pay $1400 to get it fixed and I said 'no I'm not giving you guys nomore money. you guys should be fixing that problem on your own cause I was promised my car would get fixed and be running good and its not. or else you guys should give me a refund or a partial refund cause you guys just milked me for all my money and the car isn't running how it was promised. tom told me no and suggested me to go to another mechanic. so thats what happened about that.you also said that "he asked if we would purchase the car and our sales department didn't want it at this time' yea I did ask that because the car is useless now I payed all that money for nothing and now I don't have a useable car and you actually told me the first time I asked that they would give me $500 dollars for it. so I said let me think about it cause I know in my head that I just gave you guys about $3200 and that will be a horrible deal on my side.so you said ok. then I called 4 days later and you told me that its roll over session and that nissan will not buy it until possible next year[ which they might try to give me even less next year].you also said that 'it wasn't until we recommended the catalytic converters, we found out he had just purchased this car weeks before it failed on him'that is absolutely a lie. I had the car for a month and a half before you guys even got to work on it and all it had was engine start up problems [the engine would start on the second key twist] it drove perfectly fine before you guys touched it. the only thing that was mainly wrong with it was the engine start up.other wise the car was golden.what is going on with nissan is very unprofessional and there has to be a solution.either fix my car, give me a refund or take the car and give me a reasonable amount of money for it. I understand that my car aint worth a million dollars but I did put in $3200 for it to be fixed and you guys failed. so if you guys do offer me a amount for my car be reasonable. THANK YOU

[redacted] worked the entire deal between Mr. [redacted] with [redacted] over a two
day period. At every turn during the deal Mr. [redacted] was completely aware of
the vehicle that we were locating in on his behalf. On multiple occasions he
was on...

the phone with his father, while [redacted] was present, reviewing the pricing,
equipment, color and payments. Once Mr. [redacted] gave [redacted] the word that he was
willing to accept the deal, [redacted] went over the window sticker one last time so
that no problems would arise upon delivery. While in the process of locating
the vehicle he followed up with Mr. [redacted] about the status of the locate. He
proceeded to ask [redacted] if we could throw in a trailer hitch. [redacted] said that we
could not. Upon delivery there were no issues brought to our attention.
