have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  The chipper that was shipped is not the chipper I ordered.  The chipper was shipped shipped 2 Jan 2015, 50 days or so after the order was cancelled.  Their tracking information, [redacted], was not valid.  The shipper was [redacted], which I was able to track only by the information on the shipping crate.  Valid shipping information was not provided and the order was not canceled as requested 21 Nov.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The company has shipped (or at least has given me another tracking number) the product.  When I recontacted Liberty Implements Mr. [redacted] assured me that he would seek alternative methods of shipping to get the product to me sooner.  My son (a manager for [redacted] ) gave me approx cost for four day shipping and additional ways to ship faster.  Mr [redacted] avoided my calls and handed off "dealing" with me to a subordinate.  Companies like this should not be allowed to do business in Arizona or any other state.  Mr [redacted] did not apologize, did not explain why they were doing in this manner, and did not donate $1500 to the not for profit organization that I requested.  Under normal circumstances; it has been my experience that the only way to change a companies pattern bad policies is to "hit them in the wallet.  I would appreciate the Revdex.com or the Arizona State Attorneys office holding Liberty Implements feet to the fire on this.  I have also contacted the NYS attorney Generals office on this matter.

At 11 weeks I have not received a chipper machine that should have been delivered in 4. For 7 of these weeks I have been frustrated trying to successfully email and phone this company. When I was successful in getting a response, I've been given promises of delivery several times and each has obviously been a "put off." This has been the worst purchasing experience I've every had. This morning I called and surprisingly got [redacted] who answered the phone. I tried to explain the problem to him and he gave the most apathetic response to go ahead and dispute the charges to my card company and hung up on me.

Liberty issued Mr. [redacted] a refund in full on 7/21/15 in the amount that was originally charged on April 4, 2015.  Please note that there is a currency conversion from US Dollars to Canadian Dollars.  The refund that was issued on 7/21/15 was in the exact amount charged of...

$917.60 USD (the currency conversion accounts for the difference from the $1000 requested by Mr. [redacted] in this complaint--but please be assured that Mr. [redacted] did in fact receive a full refund).  Because I believe that Mr. [redacted] is entitled to be made 100% whole, I ensured that the USD-CAD conversion rate for July 21, 2015 was equal to or better than the conversion rate back on April 4, 2015.  According to [redacted].[redacted], the USD-CAD currency exchange rate is in fact better now than it was on April 4, 2015 (as in the CAD is worth more now than back in April).  This means that Mr. [redacted] will be receiving a refund for a little more than for that which he paid, which is wonderful.  The additional money refunded due to the favorable currency conversions should cover any interest Mr. [redacted] may have incurred during this time, and we here at Liberty believe that refunded incurred interest on credit card purchases is the right and proper thing to do in cases such as these. Liberty regrets that Mr. [redacted] implement was not timely delivered.  Liberty had a sales run on the model chipper purchased by Mr. [redacted], and sales orders were filled as quickly as possible in the order they were taken.  When Mr. [redacted] Chipper was shipped, the freight carrier literally drove his Chipper on a cross-country sight-seeing tour.  The [redacted]s were provided with tracking, and they watched the Chipper during the unnecessarily long trip.  It is unacceptable that Liberty did not sooner step in and retrieve the Chipper from the original carrier and get it over to a new carrier for delivery, and Liberty takes responsibility for this. As a result, Liberty no longer employs the services of this specific freight carrier, as what happened to the [redacted]s must not be allowed to happen to any future customer. Liberty wishes to extend to Mr. [redacted] the sincerest apology for not only the delays in shipping but for the "runaround," as Mr. [redacted] has explained it.  Mr. [redacted] and every customer deserves the highest regard and the best customer service possible. I personally spoke with both Mrs. and Mr. [redacted] at length about their situation. The issues related to customer service and shipping have since been resolved, and the freight carrier originally used is no longer one that Liberty employs for shipping.  The [redacted]s are wonderful and kind people.  Liberty is hopeful that the [redacted]s retain their business with Liberty.  However, if the [redacted]s choose to purchase a chipper elsewhere, Liberty whole-heartedly wishes them the best.  Liberty is just grateful to have had customers as wonderful as the [redacted]s.
