I've had several bad experience with liberty coin. Just recent was a slam by salesman on coins I did not say to ship! Refused them at post office. Called my credit card company to file dispute. Beware these guys are very high pressure ! He continues to call me as of today July 3rd several times he tries to weazel his words that I ordered by I will get back to you after o check coins and secure them at no time did I say I wanted.

Review: In 2012 my mother requested that the Liberty Coin Gallery cease soliciting her by phone and mail. My mother has aged related [redacted] and is on a fixed income. While she will purchase thousands of dollars worth of coins if called and solicited, she does not remember making the purchases after the call. Despite the initial request, Liberty Coin Gallery continued to solicit my mother. In 2012 I reiterated the request, via email, correspondence and fax and by phone. Despite these requests and assurances she would be placed on a do-not-call list, in 2014, sales reps from the Liberty Coin Gallery again solicited the purchase of thousands of dollars worth of coins from my mother. When I spoke with a representative of the company, he said her name must have been on a list of names he purchased for solicitation.Desired Settlement: I request that the Liberty Coin Gallery honor their word and place my mother on a permanent do-not-call list and that they will make every effort to prevent solicitation of my mother by phone or mail.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

Thanks, the business did respond. They did not deliver the coins to my mom and did not contact me about the refund until I filed the complaint with the Revdex.com.

Thanks to your organization Mom got nearly $3000 back. I can only hope the business does not try to contact her again.

Thank you again for all your help.

Sincerely,

Review: On 3 Occasions Liberty Coin Gallery called me at my home to Solicit the sale of rare coins at an inflated price. Subsequent the charging my credit card that I did not authorize use of my card. I placed a dispute with AMEX immediately upon discovering that they charged my card. . They would not resolve the dispute and I had the coins appraised here locally and they do not have the value they stated. I subsequently shipped the coins back Via UPS to the gallery and found out that they refused the delivery. I have contacted them by phone and email but they will not respond to my communications. they have never sent me or offered any information on how they derived at the cost or quality of the coins that I insisted them to send me.

I spoke to the Suffolk Co District Attorney representative [redacted] at ###-###-#### and she suggested that I contact the Revdex.com

If I had consented to the charge I would have filled out an authorization form. but was never given one I repeatedy told them not to send the coins but they did send them and charged my cardDesired Settlement: They should accept the coins back as I sent them in the same condition I received them at the same cost I was charged the full refund the amount of $7,500.00. I am old and retired and cannot afford these charges. I have sick and disabled family members that require my resources and attention.

My statements in this complaint are true and accurate

Response:

Client made 3 separate purchases over a 3 month period. All purchases were semi-numismatic gold and silver coins. Client decided he wanted a full refund 3 months after he made his purchases. We explained to the client that is was far beyond the stated return policy. He was not happy. He then called his credit card company and fraudulently told them that he did not authorize the purchases. After an investigation by his credit card company they concluded that Liberty Coin Gallery was authorized in all transactions and that the client was not entitled to a return. Subsequently after the credit card company sided with Liberty we received a call from the client stating that if we do not refund him for the purchases he would be contacting the Revdex.com and threatened making complaints.

It is our continued stance that this client is not entitled to a refund on this purchases since there has been movement in the metals market and it is far beyond any return policy

Sincerely,

Review: I have been dealing with this company since late last year. I had purchased a large amount of rare coins, about $200,000 worth and their service was very good. My calls were answered, and when I left a message, it was returned promptly. I stopped purchasing coins around the end of February. Sometime in March, I began to have some financial difficulties, and I needed to sell some of the coins in order to be able to pay my rent and bills. The first time I asked them to sell some coins, things went fairly smooth, however I did get the impression that they were not very happy about my selling coins, telling me these coins should not be sold so soon. We did however take care of the sale. With the next sale I was told it was not a good time to sell coins, and the dealer held back several coins I sent him, without my permission, rather than sell them as he was asked to do. He has not yet returned those coins to me, as well as some coins and notes of my own, that I had sent to him to be graded. I have been asking him to return my coins and notes for about three months or longer. I have still not had anything returned to me. My phone calls are not answered and messages are not returned as they were when I was buying coins. It is my suspicion that my personal coin and notes, as well as the coins of mine that he took upon himself not to sell, have possibly been sold by him and he's scrambling to replace them. He did ask me about a month ago to fax him a list of my personal coins and notes that I had sent him and I did fax him my list, although it did seem odd to me that he wanted that from me, and why was my coins all together and very easy to ship. When I asked about my other coins that held back and decided not to sell, his reply was yes he has then around somewhere. It's very obvious that a long as I was a buyer they were professional, but when I became a seller they could care less about me. The manager did say earlier that he personally like two of my notes, which are my personal property. There should be no reason for him to not return the items that I sent him, or my coins which he took upon himself to hold on to and not sell as I directed him to.Desired Settlement: To have my coins returned to me as well as my personal items that he should be holding, ASAP !

Review: This company is calling me unsolicited. I have never done business with this company and I am registered on the Do No Call list. To make it even worse I live in Hawaii and they are calling here very early in the morning and waking everyone up. I will also be making a complaint against this company on the [redacted] site.Desired Settlement: That they never call me again, remove my contact information from their list, and not share my information with anyone else.

They just called AGAIN 20 minutes ago (which with the time difference is hours after they claim to have removed my contact information from their database.) My wife answered the phone and asked if it was Liberty Coin Gallery calling. The man said yes. She asked to remove us from their list. The man asked for me again. She told him to remove us. The man asked for ma a THIRD time, each time more agressively. She told him to remove us off their list and that I had filed a complain with Revdex.com and with [redacted]. The man then hung up. RUDE people.I want them to remove my contact information from their list AND to stop calling me!

Review: On March [redacted] I was contacted by [redacted] from Liberty coin Gallery he told me that he had a great deal on a 1885 $3 Princess gold coin and that if I was to buy the coin I would also receive 2 certified 70 silver American Eagle Dollars as a bonus, and that if I didn't like the coin that I had 30 days to return it or I could also have him sell it for me, which ever way I wanted to do it. after I received the coin on 4-*-14, (purchase date 3-**-14) I noticed that there were no American eagles with the gold coin, I called [redacted] and told him of this and he told me that they probably didn't have any at the time the $3 Princess shipped and that I would be receiving them in a few days, well that was on 4-**-14 and to date I have still not received them, So because of this I decided to return the $3 Princess so I called to get a return number and it was at that time the person to whom I was talking to informed me that I had only 3 days to return the item and that was up, Now I explained to him what [redacted] told me about the 30 days and he informed me that he could have only given me 14 days to return the item, so either way I couldn't return the coin, He also told me that I would have to talk with [redacted] about the return, but every time I call to talk with [redacted] he is either on another line or he's not there I leave messages for him to call me and he does not call, its been going on now for almost 2 weeks like this. I need some ones help and I hope you can help me out on this.Desired Settlement: I would like to return to them The 1885 $3 Princess along with the box it came in for a complete refund, as I did not get the 2 bonus coins that were promised to me and now no one wants to talk to me about this problem.

Review: I have received several calls from Liberty Coin Gallery([redacted] informing me that they have grade 63 or better Morgan silver dollars. After about six calls, I agreed to try his company. He offered me ten(10) Morgans at grade 63+.

he charged my card for $790.00, and said I could review them for 24hours after receipt of the coins. I received the coins a few days later.

There was nothing indicating the grade, not even a certificate of authenticity. These coins are Morgan bullion valued at $35.00 to $40.00. I sent them back immediately for a refund of $79.00. The shipping cost me $115.00

[redacted] sent them back to me via UPS. I had to pick them up, or UPS would dispose of them. I have tried to contact [redacted] via phone, but he refuse to get back to me.

My attorney sent them a letter demanding refund within 15 days. I have gotten no respond.

I am reporting Liberty Coin Gallery to all parties interested in unlawful business practices. [redacted] in formed me that our agreement was being recorded. I would like for him to produce a copy of the recording.Desired Settlement: Just my refund of $790.00, and pay for return shipment of thecoins back to Liberty Coin Gallery.

Response:

The claims of this complaint are not true.

The client [redacted] was offered a selection of Choice Brilliant Uncirculated Morgan Dollars.

[redacted] agreed to the offer and provided payment method and shipping information.

Upon receiving the package he sated he did not want to keep them. As per our invoice there are instructions on how to obtain a return authorization from Liberty Coin Gallery and send back the purchased items.

[redacted] did not follow these simple instructions, nor did he respond to any of the many attempts we made to reach him by phone.

However, Liberty Coin Gallery already gave [redacted] a FULL refund for this order.

This claim is false and is being made after the refund was issued and correspondence was sent to his attorney.

Please remove the claim.

Sincerely,

Liberty Coin Gallery
