Review: I ordered silver coins from this store via on-line and sent a personal checque to the transaction. The store received payment and acknowledged it on July 22nd, 2014 and they promised to send the product after 10days. Here is part of their email "Payment received on 2014-07-22 10:59:12 via Check

Product will be held for ten business days and should ship on or after 08/05/2014, unless otherwise notified". It is more than 2 months and they have not shipped the product yet. I contacted them via their email couple of times and received no reply. I tried contacting them via their phone several times, and after a few non-responses and very long waits, I was able to talk to a person at that end. He said that the store is in financial situation and will try to send the product but cannot give a time line. So I am not sure how long I have to wait.

Second part of the complaint is that, if the store in unable to meet customer obligations as their web site says, it seems they are using the web site as a bait to attract customers to get money.Desired Settlement: I would prefer them honor their obligation by sending the product.

If they cannot send the product, they can refund my money.

I am flexible either way.

I have been promised several times over the last 5 months and nothing happened so far. It is almost 6 months since the check was sent. Current response clearly states that delivery depends on order from future customer(s). I cannot trust them. I would like my money returned.

Review: Liberty Metals Group is in the business of buying and selling of gold and silver bullion. In April of 2014 I placed a order to procure a certain quantity of silver bullion coins. Liberty Metals Group policy is that they will only place an order upon payment. Payment was made in April of 2014, and its now been 4 1/2 months and I have not received my order. After numerous conversations with the owners I discovered that they are having financial problems and would not be able to execute my order. I then requested for them to return the money that I paid them; and they said they did not have the funds available to repay me and were not sure if they could ever pay me. They went on to mention that they would need 18 months to restructure the business to see if they could pay me.Desired Settlement: I would like my cash refunded.

Liberty Metals Group took $9,400 for silver eagle coins order on 7/2014, and failed to deliver product as promised. After a year of deceit and broken promises, we filed a civil suit for Breach of Contract and were awarded a Default Judgement. They will not respond to any communications (mail, phone, email) and we are now in process of sending them to collections. They have multiple judgements against them and appear to be in hiding. Our lawyer has recommended if they don't pay that we next file a criminal suit for fraud as they took money with no intent/ability to deliver the goods. May as well have been robbed. Cannot stress enough, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH.

Review: I ordered some silver back in May of 2014. I received a confirmation of payment given on May 19, 2014. On may 27 2014 received email o receipt of payment and that there would be a possible delay of shipment 5 to 6 weeks. I called around July 29, 2014 and inquired about my shipment. I believe it was [redacted] who told me they were out of the silver bars I purchased and he would get back to me about he shipment [redacted]. It is now August 5 2014. I called again and spoke to [redacted], he said they would get back to me.Desired Settlement: I really would like my order shipped to me ASAP. I am very frustrated that they are selling products they do not have.

Review: On June 27, 2014 I paid by check, in the amount of $25,185.00, for a quantity of gold and silver coins. The coins were to be delivered by 7-11-2014, after clearance of my check. I had done business with Liberty Metals before, with no problems. The company has repeatedly indicated that they did not have my order yet and to give them more time. Now they indicate they are having some financial problems and that it will be 12 to 18 months before they can fill my order. They inidcated they are continuing to do business and taking and filling orders, but do not have adeqate funds to fill my order from June.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my order filled or receive a refund.

Review: I placed an order for metals last June 20, 2014 and I prepaid $6882.20($6857.20+shipping $25.00) with cashier's check.

Till now I did't get my order. They didn't ship it.

At first, they said I might get my order in early August.

But after that time, whenever I called them, they said due to mint problem, government regulation, mine problem my shipment's delayed.

So last Wednesday(9/3/14) I talked with one of their staff that I want to refund. And he said next Friday(9/10/14) he would let me know if he ship or refund.

Today (9/10/14) he said that now, they can't ship my order and can't refund either.Desired Settlement: I'd like to get my order or refund my money as soon as possible.

In addition, what I am worried about is that if I choose to accept these terms and the company keeps on operating their business like this, it may create more victims like me. Review: My check in the name of "Liberty Metals Group" for $1,631 cleared on 08/03/2015. The check was for purchase of silver bullion. The expected shipment date was 08/14/2015. On 08/18/2015, a Liberty Group Metals representative informed me that my shipment will go out "today." I asked if he has my product and he said "yes." So far, I have not received a shipment notification. I discovered that the State of California - Department of Business Oversight (DBO) issued Liberty Metals a desist and refrain from commodity sales on 07/17/2015. I contacted DBO and was advised to file a complaint with them.Desired Settlement: Based on numerous complaints and the Disist and Refrain order from DBO, I think the Revdex.com should revoke the A- rating for Liberty Metals Group, Scottdale, AZ. The Revdex.com rating for Liberty Metals Group in Del Mar, CA, is D+ and is already revoked. I think the two ratings should be consistent because the two business entities are the same company. The Liberty Metals Group in Scottsdale, AZ and the Liberty Metals Group in Del Mar, CA share he same Internet address libertymetals.com.

If the Revdex.com A- business rating persists, other consumers like me may think Liberty Metals is a honest company and they could lose their money. Since I only initially saw the A- Revdex.com rating, I was fooled into thinking Liberty Metals Group was run by honest people.

Complaint ID: [redacted] UPDATE 9/3/2015: I received a cashiers check for $1,631 and one Maple Leaf silver coin from Liberty Metals Group. The cashiers check and silver coin were delivered prior to the end of 28 days after my purchase. I was compensated one silver coin for an increase in the price of silver since my purchase. Although the Liberty Metals Group failed to deliver bullion, I received a refund in an acceptable time frame and consider this matter closed. According to the owner of Liberty Metals Group, his prior troubles in 2014 were caused by former business partners. Thank you Revdex.com. Regards,

Review: I walked into the Liberty Metals office at 1125 Del Mar Blvd and purchased with cash 2 100-oz JM silver bars, getting an invoice for $4010 on 5/31/14 (Invoice #: [redacted] ). I had one business with this branch before by mail without any issue. I was told to expect delivery of the purchase at my place of residence in NV within 4 to 6 weeks. The problem is that we are now 4 months out (16 weeks) and growing, and the last many emails and phone calls to both the Scottsdale and Del Mar office have gone unanswered. I have no idea if they are out of business or just bogged down with issues that doesn't let them respond to customer inquiries. I am greatly concerned.Desired Settlement: I want the products I ordered or a return of the money ($4010.00) I gave them on 5/31/14.

Review: In the first week of July I order throug the internet from this place of business web page 30oz of SILVER for delivery in two weeks. The company has not delivered the product as of this date Varius contact with them have been made and they state that it will be delivered next week. Last week they quit answering th phone and I belive they fled the country. tHEY HAVE OTHER STORES IN AZ AND CAL BUT NONE ANSWER THE PHONE.Desired Settlement: Cna you contact them and have them refund or send product.

Review: On 16May2014 and on 06JUN2014, my wife and I purchased $29,173.42 worth of gold coins from Liberty Metals Group. These two orders are comprised of 22 x 1oz Gold Canadian Maple Leaf coins - 2 personal checks were provided as payment to Liberty Metals Group - however, despite the company continuing to do further transactions with new customers, Liberty Metals Group refuses to provide the purchased coins or a full refund of the money to us. Partial owner, and COO, Mr. [redacted] has explained to us that our money was embezzled by the majority owner and that he has no intention of fulfilling either of these transactions for 12-18 months, if at all. Formal complaints have been filed at the San Diego Sheriffs office as well as Official Demand letters sent from the Naval JAG corp.Desired Settlement: Immediate an full cash refund of $29,173.42
