Review: This company tricked me to signed up for an unwanted credit card by liying to just a process of getting car lease paper. Until few weeks later I recived a credit card that I didnot give permission for. I called the dealer ,never got any return call. I used social media tool for help, they still did not admit any wrong doing. This may ruin my credit history and affecting my job and so on.

Response:

At Life Quality we guide our customers through the process of purchasing their luxury BMW vehicle. When [redacted] purchased his vehicle he willingly, and knowingly signed all documentation. If he received a credit card with his name spelled incorrectly it's because he signed for it in the application. And since [redacted]s name is spelled incorrectly he need not worry about it affecting his credit.

[redacted]'s Life Quality sales person [redacted] reached out to [redacted] on more than two occasions over the last month, to ask how LQ could make [redacted] a satisfied customer. Today and continuously going forward we welcome [redacted] to stop by our dealership any time and [redacted] will assist him anyway he can.

Life quality BMW still not admitting of dishonest to me. They may sell luxury car,but also use cheap way to reach their goal. Life quality BMW tricked me to sign a legal paper, intentionally lie to me it was for the leasing paperwork signing. I did asked the finance person [redacted],why need my mother maiden name before I signed the paper. He told me exactly just the leasing paperwork. Who's know how much damage will be done in the further because this unnecessary and wrong spelling name card will do.

After the weeks of canceling the credit card,I still getting letter from bmw related to this card ,wrong spell name still,(see the picture letter from today.) how could they said,it will not affecting my credit history.

Review: I was charged $1,300.00 plus tax for 1 new headlight on the left side of my car and $228.58 for them to check the car. When I took the car back the service manager Nicholas G[redacted] service manager and Christopher [redacted] Service Advisor both checked the headlight and realized that it was Not changed on that day I was also charged $228.58 for them to look at their mistake. They both assure me that my money will be refunded it has 2months and a half still haven't got my money refunded back to me.Desired Settlement: Refund of the amount paid plus tax

Review: I am detailling my experience with this BMW Dealer

I've had horrible experience with [redacted] I have 2014 328 I 4k miles. I left the car in service to see from where the rattle noise is coming from front left tire, but before to do this I did a test drive with one of their mechanic and he notice also that rattle noise. [redacted] called me next day to say ''I have no time today to check your car but I may have time tomorrow'', I've said'' OK, but you call me to say after 24h you did not touch yet my car?", meanwhile I've called BMW North America they open a case and 5 min later [redacted] called me to say " I start to work on your car, but because you called BMW NA you never step in my service"

Next day he never call me and after one more day I got to the service to see what is going on, he said the car has nothing and is ready to get home, he start acting like God and nobody can touch him, I ask about invoice but they never gave me an invoice, the rims was scratch and they put over 60 mile for test drive, I've asked why so many miles, he said test, probably they use my car for personal purpose.

BMW NA says ''they can not do nothing regarding of this service because they are a private service and they recommended to try other service.

Respectfully, [redacted]Desired Settlement: All I want, this gentleman [redacted] to be held accountable for his behavior and apologies...

Review: BMW has had my vehicle for over a month now for repairs. The car is less than 4 years old and has less than 35,000 miles on it. I bought the car brand new. This is not the first time my car has been in the shop. There have been numerous other occassions prior to this time. I am emailing to express my dissatisfaction with the whole matter involving my vehicle. I am very distressed at the fact that it has taken this long for BMW to diagnose the problem with my car. I have stated before to BMW North America, I have reason to believe I was sold a "lemon".

I was also forced to buy a battery recently (receipt of 11/*/13 for amount of $898.68) to what I believe was an original defect with the vehicle.

The car is currently at BMW Manhattan being investigated.

To say that I have been not only depressed but suffering mental anguish and frustration is an understatement. I am not pleased with BMW.

I have strongly suggested some other recourse in this matter but I still get the run around. Please help me!!!! You may reach me via email [redacted] at or by phone at [redacted].

Thank you in advance to this matter.

Sincerely,

[redacted]Desired Settlement: Either replace the car with a new and working model or give me back my money. Thank you.

Review: I am upset that the services received on Sept **, 2013 on engine repair and coolant leaking issues.

I paid 1800.00 for this repair only for the smoke to continually come out of the car and the coolant continued to leak.

The car was brought back in on 10/**/2013

because it was still burning oil and smoke from the exhaust.

they held the vehicle for about 6 weeks and then we paid an additional 2100.00 for the same repair.

The gaskets were replaced both timesDesired Settlement: I would like a refund for paying for the same services again

Review: What I thought to be brand new car was a complete "lemon" from the start. There have been numerous other occasions after this time. I have forwarded my concerns before BMW North America. To say that I have been not only depressed but also suffering mental anguish and frustration is an understatement. I am not pleased with BMW. I have strongly suggested some other recourse in this matter such replacing the car with a new operating performing car of same make and model but I still get the run around. Now I just want out. Please help me!

I leased my first BMW, a 328 Xi 2014 from Life Quality BMW in Brooklyn, New York from [redacted] (salesperson) on 1/**/2014 as a gift for my wife. In less than 2 months on 2/**/2014 the car broke down in the middle of winter on my wife’s way to work. The BMW was towed to Life Quality and received by [redacted] ([redacted]). The car was assessed and diagnosed by Life Quality and found to have a series of faults. The list consist of multiple misfire faults performance test plan, burn off spark plugs failure, and most importantly replacement of injector Cylinder diagcode [redacted] (which failed twice) and a “recall” of [redacted] program control unit, which I found strange as this was a brand new car. An ISID report (operation report) was conveniently not available.

Also mentioned to the Service department, [redacted], [redacted], at the time of car breakdown was the continuous computer message of the rear left tire pressure, inconsistent operation of the efficiency functionality, the defect of the Bluetooth capability for syncing. [redacted] informed me that all these problems would be taken care of and to no surprise these issued were not resolved. Upon delivery of the car after almost three week the car was returned in filthy condition, with rear left tire pressure, inconsistent operation of the efficiency functionality, and the defect of the Bluetooth capability for syncing unresolved. I immediately called Life Quality and made an appointment to speak with [redacted], [redacted]. After voicing my concerns he assured me that these matters would be addressed. He guaranteed me that the [redacted], [redacted] would contact me to have the car be evaluated once more, I was never contacted. My compliant went ignored. I felt I had no recourse but to keep the car and hopefully the car would perform with time.

On 5/**/2014, Mother’s day the car was stolen. My car insurance company (Progressive Insurance, [redacted], Claim Rep.) was immediately informed followed by a police report. The BMW tracking system was not effective (unsurprising) and the car could not be recovered from its location. After some weeks the car was finally found on 5/**/2014 and upon being retrieved, I personally drove the BMW immediately to Life Quality on 6/*/2014 to be diagnosed and assessed. Upon driving the car, the computer displaced engine system failure, the temperature gauge misplayed faulty temperature and other external damage (scratches to the body of the car). The car was received by [redacted] ([redacted], no longer employed by Life Quality). The car was assessed and found have temperature sensor defect, another “recall” was addressed and a number of scathes which resulted in total $2356.81 ($1000.00 was my deductible) in repairs.

On 7/*/2014, over three weeks, I was called by Life Quality to pick up the car as it was considered ready. Upon arriving I was received by [redacted] ([redacted] “[redacted]” [redacted] and escorted to his desk where I was to provide the remaining payment balance. After paying the deductible for repairs allegedly done I was immediately taken to the car located in the front of the service department for driving out. I could not make a real assessment of the car due to the poor lighting. I did however questioned [redacted] about the rear wheel error and was told, “Treading on the tire was setting off the sensor”. As I proceeded to drive the car out the message instantly appeared on the computer dashboard and I told [redacted] of the message, he just proceeded to provide the tire with some air and told me I was ok to leave.

Upon arriving home and meeting with my wife, she became completely distraught at what she found. All the scratches she originally discovered on the car after it had been recovered were still on the car, the allegedly replaced car parts were still on the car, the broken license plate was still on the car and lastly was unclean condition the car was returned. The car still had the leaves in the exterior dash outside of the car from when the car was retrieved after being told the would be “detailed” as a courtesy for the car having been kept so long in repair. Also worth mentioning was I was not provided a “loaner” by [redacted], [redacted], throughout this whole three week and half ordeal resulting in having to pay out of pocket a rental so my wife could continue to commute to work. After informing BMW of the unsatisfied results of the work to the car I have not heard back.

Lastly, my wife proceeded to use the car to commute to work and found that the car’s computer was now sending off another error messages along side the continuous rear tire message now happening more frequently. After speaking to the i[redacted] about concerns I was told by [redacted] (i[redacted]) that he had been informed that a nail was found in the tire. I was completely surprised and angered. As you should understand that this situation could have caused in my wife to be put in danger comprising her safety and others, not to mention my children also ride in the car.

I feel I have reached my limit with this car and Life Quality BMW. After speaking to the Revdex.com (Revdex.com) I feel I have recourse to have my concerns addressed. Please call me first at ###-###-#### before proceeding to contact Life Quality as I have more information to discuss. Thank you in advance for your immediate attention in this matter.Desired Settlement: I would like for BMW to take the defective car back. Close my account as paid in full and give me back my money

($5000.00) from my trade in car. But also as a resolution, I could accept a new replacement (same model BMW 328xi) from another BMW dealership.

Review: I purchased 2007 BMW X3 last year. The car has been driven over 10k since I had the car. There were no current check engine light on or warning lights when I brought the car to this dealer. The reason I wanted to get it diagnosed was because back in May I drove down to NC and on our way back on one occasion the car was shaking and check engine light came on but as soon as we restarted the car it was fine. My husband and I noticed more recently, on several occasions it felt like the car did not excelerate normally so I wanted to be proactive. We took it to the only BMW dealership in Brooklyn and paid $209 (excluding taxes) for the diagnostic test. The report came back with the following issues: misfires on 2 coils and all 6 spark plugs, DMTL pump, thermostat, valve cover gasket leaking and water pump. First of all, the car NEVER experienced overheating. We decided to shop around and weigh our options since the [redacted] contacted the after market warranty company Continental and he advised me that my warranty did not cover any of these repairs. When my husband drove out the dealership, he was not told not to drive the car. I only drive my car on the weekends. The first weekend I drove the car less than .1 milers, the coolant light came on. I advised my husband and he put coolant in the car during the next week. The following weekend, we drove and the coolant light kept coming on and off, we added coolant again but this time the coolant just started pouring out when we checked underneath the car. We took it back to the dealer and they found the right motor mount broken which they claimed punctured the water pump. They quoted me $2600 to repair only the motor mount and waterpump- $885 for the parts and the remaining balance for the labor. WHAT??? Before I brought the car back to the dealer, I called the warranty company and they advised that they would cover the water pump. The [redacted] also told my husband that the warranty company will not cover the water pump due to "consequential damages". I think they did not do a proper diagnostic test and for I know they could have caused the damage after the diagnostic test hit a bump or whole which they accused us of doing. The first time I drove the car after leaving the dealership, the coolant came on and it was not in this condition when we brought the car there initially.Desired Settlement: For the cost of the extensive damages (water pump and motor mount) caused by them not properly diagnosing the car and the cost for the diagnostic test.

Review: On December **, 2013, I decided to lease a 2014 BMW 328i GT on Life Quality BMW located at [redacted] after me, [redacted] and the sales agent [redacted] agreed that my monthly lease will be $480 with the $3000 down payment. He also promised me that they will pay my last month lease on my old RDX Acura. When I went to their office, [redacted] let me talked to his' boss, [redacted] for the paperworks. When [redacted] was explaining me things about the lease contract, he kept mentioning that my monthly lease will be $480. After I signed the contract, I saw the monthly lease was $530. When I got off his' office, I spoke again with [redacted] and told him that this price was not we agreed for. He said it was too late, cause I already signed the contract. I also mentioned to [redacted] that I am qualified for College Graduate Program, which was a $1000 discount program of BMW for students who will graduate in 4 months or just graduated. He said they will take care of that too after I forwarded them a proof that I will graduate soon. My school was closed that time for Christmas/New Year holiday so I got my proof of letter on Jan. *, 2014, which I forwarded to [redacted] thru email. I also want to cancel the "Scratch and Dent insurance" ($50/month), which was offered to me by [redacted] during the signing of contract. I was calling their office thru [redacted] for the past 3 weeks and nothing has been done. He said check was on the way for my 1 month former lease($550), but haven't got it for the past 3 weeks. He also told me that it will be better not to get the College Graduate Program discount ($1000) because I have to pay $250 for re-signing the contract, and I will fall on more higher interest. That's not what I heard from BMW when I call them. BMW said just tell the dealership to just send them an updated contract which includes the College Grad Program and they will consider it. I was calling [redacted] this past week (no answer) and left him a message 2 times, Feb. * and ** respectively, but haven't get a return call from him.Desired Settlement: I just want to get what they promised me that made me decided to lease a car from them. Includes $550(one month lease on my old car), $1000 ( for College Grad Program Discount by BMW) , and the cancellation of the "Scratch and Dent Insurance" ($50/month). Please help me resolve this matter. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Sincerely,

CASE #[redacted] Filed: 2/**/14 Consumer: [redacted]

As per [redacted]’ Revdex.com comments, below are [redacted] of LQ BMW’s response:

The refund check was because Acura auto debited [redacted]’ last payment before we had the chance to pay it. [redacted] was instructed to stop by and sign off on a document stating that we are paying him and owe no funds to Acura. He failed to do so and as a result we accepted a copy signed by his sister so we could mail him his check. The check itself was mailed to his sister’s residence because he no longer lived at his registered address and we wanted to avoid his check going into the wrong hands. She took about 3 weeks to stop by after delivery which again added to the turn around time.

As for the payment change. I made sure that he knew 100% by the time he left that the payment change was because of the rate change. When he left [redacted]’s office for the first time I brought him back in so [redacted] can explain again what happened and he understood fully what was going on. His comment saying that “I said it was too late” is false and unwarranted. At time of closing all numbers were based off BMW’s Tier 1 numbers. [redacted] was well aware that he was not Tier 1 and knew of the nightmare that we went through to get him approved.

Regarding College Grad: [redacted] was told from the start that college grad submissions are different from normal deals. More paperwork was needed on his end and was not provided until after he took possession of his car. I spoke to BMW FS and they said it was possible however it needed to be resubmitted as a new deal and that would have taken place in January or December resulting in loss of additional rebates.

Review: I bought 2009 bmw 750i , I was told the car have a warranty on it till 100.000 mils I got the car with 88.000 mils on it .

the guy that sold me the car had 30 days to transfer the warranty to my name but he forgot to do it and now bmw is telling me

the warranty is not transferable after 30 days .

I went back to the guy and hes not willing to help me ,and the car have a lot of problems .

all that start to happen after a month a half later of a purchase .Desired Settlement: I just want my car fixed and get my warranty as a was promised !!
