I did receive an email...

from LifeSavers of America stating that a new shipment of cards would be in the mail soon. I have pasted to the bottom of this message the information they sent me today. I did call them 4 times over the past 10 days but left 3 messages and only once spoke with someone. I have phone records showing that 3 of the calls lasted less than a minute. 
 
It sounds like they did not explain to me how the cards arrive. I will inform you if I receive the card in the mail over the next few weeks.

Thank you for contacting me, but it's my understanding our office has spoken to you 4 times in the last 10 days regarding your card. It should have been explained to you more thoroughly how card replacements work, before a class we order enough cards for students who sign up, unfortunately if one is midrected by the courier we have to re-order a new card and it can take up to 2 weeks to arrive in our office. After we receive it, we print them and mail them out. Our next shipment of cards is due to arrive either today or tomorrow, once your card is printed I'll email you that it has been sent. Please verify the address you would like it shipped to.

Please check with the consumer again to see if she has received this card, a second copy of her card went out on July 31st. I have attached a copy of her card and her record from our system indicating all information in her file. At this point if she still does not have it, it's my recommendation that she check with her mail carrier, after today there will be a $15 charge for a reprint.

We sent out an email to all students who took classes in November, we had a failure with a new system we implemented and some cards didn't go out, unfortunately we were not able to track which ones and we're doing our best to correct it. If you would please send an...

email to [email protected] with your name, address and class date we'll get a new card sent out to you. I'll have to pull the hard copy of your file to verify your attendance, but it should arrive in about 10 days.
 
I can also make sure once it's printed that you receive a hard copy in your email.

Thank you for that information, unfortunately you didn't confirm it with me and I'm the one requesting it. if your workplace has any questions regarding the copy of the card you were e-mailed they can contact me directly.

You should receive a reprint of your physical card within 2-3 weeks, any reprints after that will be assessed a fee of $15.

I have contacted the customer service of Lifesavers of America and I will be receiving a refund of my initial amount. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I am very sorry that her email correspondence was not received by our office, but it has been more than a year since she experienced this problem. I have gone ahead and reprinted and mailed her card without a reprint charge and I do apologize but it is not our policy to issue free class credits under any circumstances. 
Again, I apologize for any inconvenience, but we consider this matter closed.

I can no longer access this complaint for the file number, however I looked up [redacted] records here and her card was mailed out to her on 8/14/2014 - all known email addresses for her are returned to us as undeliverable and she does not return phone calls to confirm receipt of her...

When cards are printed an electronic copy is kept on file and the date of printing is recorded in two places, so I can confirm it was sent to her.
