Counter top damaged during installationWaiting for compensation since April
They delivered my appliances back in AprilDuring installation they chipped a chunk of my counter top edge off and didn't say a word The next day I called to make a complaint and they requested that I send pictures, of which I didThe guy on the phone (Carl) made it perfectly clear that they have had far worse damage to counter tops and this was going to take about weeks to clear this upIt is now Dec and still nothing has gotten accomplishedI have called/emailed at least times and each time he tells me I should be getting the check of a lousy $in the mailThe last contact I received from him was on 11/30/after I contacted GE and asked for their helpI had ordered the appliance online through GE WebsiteHe verified my address and again said I should be receiving a check by the end of the weekIt is now Dec8th and I have not received anythingI am know requesting that they double

I ordered a dishwasher from one of the major box storesLinn Star was contracted to deliver, complete the installation and haul away the old unitYou need to be there for installation, so I took the day off workThey arrived in the scheduled window - goodBut they didn't like the water shutoff valve I had, so decided they couldn't complete the install that dayI let them know I'd get it taken care of and schedule again ASAPand asked what other issues might possibly arise that would keep them from completing the installation next timeI got an ambiguous answer but was told further issues would be unlikely
I had the plumber come later that same day and scheduled for Linn Star to come back week laterThey did - again in a timely mannerThis time, they couldn't find the breaker switch to turn off the electricI turned multiple switches off, and they advised it was against their policy to proceed with multiple breakers flippedThey called the boss, and you could hear him yelling on the other endHe sounded upset with me and with his employees, but refused to talk with me personally
Finding the right breaker was easy, of course- in fact, it took my wife and I ~minutes to find the appropriate breaker when I installed the unitAlso, when we went to install the unit ourselves, we found they took part of the installation kit we bought with the unit
It was frustrating that I took two days off work for nothingFrustrating that such a simple task thwarted themFrustrating that MY water supply hose was takenThe guys were nice and timelyThe boss seemed like a jerkI would definitely not recommend purchasing the installation from Home Depot in this areaLinn Star is a transfer companyThey aren't installation pros

Very rude and unwilling to work with customersI was scheduled for Sat between 5-7pm and was called at 9am advising of issues and cancellation of delivery When I asked to reschedule for Mon-they advised I would be called Mon for a Tues time slotI requested between 5-again and was told she would put it in that I want PMI recv'd my call this morning and was advised between 1:30-3:30pmWhen I called back to let them know this time wouldn't work, they were rude and said they won't be in my area during that timeWhen you inconvenience your customer....YOU MAKE IT RIGHT!!!!!! I didn't cancel, they did due to truck issues or personal issues(is what I was told)Any one who purchases from *** ***, ***, ***, etc......this is the company they useThey lack customer service and don't care about you as the customer because they are already getting paid! Worst company every!!!!!!!!

I bought a dishwasher at Home Depot and they sent Linn Star to install it in December In November the dishwasher came loose of the anchorsI started calling Linn Star to fix it and left messagesWhen I finally got a hold of someone today the said my warranty expired January 2nd and now they will not fix it

*** uses this transfer company, delivered washer and dryer on a Tuesday stated unable to install because hot water valve would not turn off,told us to get plumber and they would be back Saturday.paid extra for plumber asap fixed on Wednesday called Thursday and again Friday to let them know it was fixed.both times was told will install Saturday between 3-7pm.waited and waited Saturday then Called *** at 6pm because no one has come.told by Evan we where missed today and driver has gone home.wanted to speak with manager Amy @ ***,left on hold for minutes then told she could not come to phone,helping someone else.I said she just doesn't want to talk to me ,he said yes!asked to be next delivery time,he said would not be able to get to us till Wednesday !!!!!!

I purchased a dishwasher from Home Depot in *** Missouri on march 1, and they hired a sub contractor name Linn Star TransferThe contractor named Brian and Randy came out and was flipping my dishwasher up side down on the concrete groundWhen I told Brian he is damaging my dishwasher he got and attitude and then kept doing itHis partner Randy was in my house flipping all the switches to turn on and off powerThey did not seem to know how to install the dishwasher and the handling of the dishwasher was very unprofessionalWe did not end up keeping the dishwasher because they damage it on the concrete.I feel there unprofessional and my experience was very frustrating

I bought a new washing machine from Home Depot Linn is their delivery carrier The delivery men were yukking it up, nice to the old lady, etc I tipped them well Two days later I was mopping up water in the basement from the drain hose which came loose A single cable tie had been used to fasten it, and that was loose I also had water dripping from the hot water hose I called for additional service It's like they sent their enforcer or bouncer guy with all the tattoos and gruff attitude What did I do wrong? Of course, he said the issue is with the water valve and not their hose installation But why didn't I have this issue when the old hose was attached? (One hose connection tilts at a weird angle Is that secure?) As for the drain hose, he tightened the cable tie I asked for more cable ties He had none and said I could buy some To top it all off, when he leaned on the washer lid, it bent inward He raised the lid and PUNCHED the underside of the lid on my brand new washer Then I was asked to sign a receipt that he fixed everything ok Good lordAnd you know what? I signed, because I'm powerless to do anything about being treated like an it and a nuisance As long as Home Depot has this company, I won't be buying any more appliances there I'm not seeking any further contact with this company There is nothing to resolve

No communication!!! Made every excuse in the book not to install the dishwasher right off the batAli was great he said he was gonna install but the little guy that was the boss of the crew was ready for lunch apparently and off they went, I had to pull out old dishwasher and install the new one myselfHow is this company still in business!!!!

Linn Star recently delivered washer and dryer that I purchased from Home DepotLinn Star installed appliances, while setting washer into place gouges were put in wood flooringGuys left without saying a word about what happened to floorsA few days later I discovered that cold and hot hoses were incorrectly installed so I had been scalding my black delicate loadsSoOo that's when I called to complain about damage and mistake A third party inspector was sent out and instantly said no doubt the damage was done by installation crewThe damage lines up perfectly with metal on washerI had to wait for Linn Star to come back out to swap hoses so I wouldnt be blamed for damage on floor and second crew said yep here's what first crew did wrong sad moment today when I got email saying my claim was throughly looked into but they deny reaponsiblity and I'm welcome to file a claim with my insurance company and the insurance company can go after Linn Star if they feel Linn Star is at faultOf course Linn Star assumes no one will actually do this for a few scratches so they are completely off the hookYou suck Linn StarI'd give you no stars if I could!!!!

This company just completed a delivery and install of a range we purchased from Home DepotI cannot adequately express how satisfied and impressed I am with the entire experience! After recently dealing with a used appliance store and incompetence with their delivery team, it was so refreshing to work with such a professional and courteous company!! They arrived within the scheduled time frame, they handled the oven with care, explained and installed the anti-tip device, tested the oven to ensure all the components were working correctly, and were done in minutes! Thank you for the punctual and professional delivery!
