Stood up for delivery 4 times, still don't have appliance
The freezer was initially scheduled for delivery on Sat April 23rd. I waited all day at my house and the freezer did not show up and there was no call to inform me it wouldn’t be delivered that day.

I called and had them on Monday the 25th and was told I would need to reschedule, so I scheduled a delivery for Friday the 29th in the afternoon as I work on Fridays but would be able to schedule a half day. I was not told the delivery timing may not fall in the requested time slot. On Thursday the 28th I received an automated message telling me the delivery was scheduled for Friday morning. I called back and told them I could not be there in the morning and had already asked for a half day at work to be off in the afternoon. I asked if they could deliver it that afternoon, but was told we would need to reschedule to another day, so I rescheduled for Saturday May 7th.

On May 7th, the delivery again did not arrive and there was not phone call to inform me it wasn’t coming. I called and was told it would not be delivered that day and I would again have to reschedule. I asked for a Saturday slot but was told they couldn’t book a Saturday slot. So I again scheduled for a Friday. I again told them that I needed an afternoon slot as I would have to schedule another half day off work. I was told it was a requested time, but was reassured that it shouldn’t be a big problem. I scheduled for Friday May 13th, with a request for an afternoon slot.

On May 12th I got a call notifying me it was scheduled for Friday morning. I again called the office to reschedule. I don’t speak to a person but left a voicemail and told them that I had already scheduled a half day off work to be there in the afternoon and would be unable to be there in the morning as I cannot schedule a full day off work. Despite calling to reschedule, I get a call from the office on Friday morning saying that the delivery drivers are at my house. I told the person in the office that I had called to reschedule and left message. They said I’d have to call on Monday to reschedule for the next week.

On Monday May 16th, I called to reschedule. I had to call 3 times that morning before I could speak to a person to reschedule. I scheduled for Saturday May 21st.

On May 21st, I again was waiting at my house with no call. As I had already previously been stood up on two prior Saturday deliveries I was anxious to see if it would arrive. I called the office and left an automated message to call me back to confirm the delivery time. When I received a call back I was assured that it was out for delivery and I was scheduled to be the 4th stop that day. At about 11:45 the delivery still had not arrived and I called back. Again I was reassured that it was out for delivery and the team was running late but I was stop number 4 and it should arrive soon. At 1 pm I called back and the person this time told me that all the trucks were already back at the warehouse and that I would need to schedule another day.

I scheduled for Friday the 27th. The person told me that I could request a delivery time in the afternoon, but it could not be guaranteed. I requested an afternoon slot, but since I cannot take a full day off, I arranged for my parents to come in from out of town to be at my house all day. On Thursday 26th, I called the office on two separate occasions to confirm the delivery the next day and was reassured it was scheduled to come.

On May 27th, my parents waited at my house all day and the delivery never came. I called the office on multiple occasions that day and eventually told me they never put it on the truck for the route that day. I eventually spoke to a customer service manager Kim who was rude and told me that it was my fault it wasn’t delivered because I had to have it rescheduled so many times. She told me they were probably going to send the freezer back to the manufacturer because I refused to take delivery but It would ultimately be up to the warehouse manager. She told me she would talk to the warehouse manager and would let me know. I called back a couple of times that afternoon. She never called back. I heard through one of the other customer service reps that the warehouse manger was supposed to call but they never called either.

In total I have been stood up for delivery on 4 different occasions, had the reschedule delivery 3 additional times because you scheduled the delivery at a time we had not agreed upon, and I've had to make more than 25 calls to your office. The customer service manager and the warehouse manager won’t return my calls and won’t call me to help work towards a resolution.

I purchased a dishwasher from Home Depot in [redacted] Missouri on march 1, and they hired a sub contractor name Linn Star TransferThe contractor named Brian and Randy came out and was flipping my dishwasher up side down on the concrete groundWhen I told Brian he is damaging my dishwasher he got and attitude and then kept doing itHis partner Randy was in my house flipping all the switches to turn on and off powerThey did not seem to know how to install the dishwasher and the handling of the dishwasher was very unprofessionalWe did not end up keeping the dishwasher because they damage it on the concrete.I feel there unprofessional and my experience was very frustrating Product_Or_Service: dishwasher

Purchased a washer and dryer from [redacted] Had no idea that Linn Star Transfer was the freight company contracted to deliverDelivery window is 2:p.mto 6:p.mtodayDelivery person calls at 5:p.mand states that they will be at my apartment in minutesminutes later their dispatcher calls and says that the delivery truck is here but the delivery truck employees are saying I am not at home...I am here, of courseI walk outside and then my phone rings once (it is the delivery person) and then he hangs up on meI finally wave the truck down and the delivery person says, Oh, we have called you five times just now (not true), that they thought I wasn't home (not true) and also, that they got lostOk, fine, I say, just make the deliveryThe delivery person sits in the truck for another minutes then walks into the apartment and announces he cannot install the washer without flooding the apartment; that the water must be shut off completelyThis is all news to me, and also, I don't think that is necessaryI explain if I had known that I could have taken care of this before the delivery (it is now close to 7:p.m., so not possible this late to call maintenance) After several discussions, I tell them to bring the dryer inThen I tell them to also deliver the washer as well, that I will have someone else install it, but I am going to be reimbursed because I paid for the installationI then get back on the phone and speak to their office manager, and the delivery guy returns to his truck, apparently to get the appliancesWhile I am on the phone....THEY LEAVE WITH MY APPLIANCES! Connecdted new dishwshr- it leaked and ruined my floor and subfloor No response from co other than to say its with their insco which does not cal Delivered and installed new dishwshr on 7/19.Didn't work, came back on 7/28-found the dishwasher had leaked under the floor, ruined flooring and sub-floorSent someone to assess damage- they say its up to their insco now and give me no name, or number My house is a mess, my cabinets and dry wall are ruined and the dishwasher is in the middle of the floor in a galley kitchen

Very rude and unwilling to work with customersI was scheduled for Sat between 5-7pm and was called at 9am advising of issues and cancellation of delivery When I asked to reschedule for Mon-they advised I would be called Mon for a Tues time slotI requested between 5-again and was told she would put it in that I want PMI recv'd my call this morning and was advised between 1:30-3:30pmWhen I called back to let them know this time wouldn't work, they were rude and said they won't be in my area during that timeWhen you inconvenience your customer....YOU MAKE IT RIGHT!!!!!! I ordered a dishwasher from one of the major box storesLinn Star was contracted to deliver, complete the installation and haul away the old unitYou need to be there for installation, so I took the day off workThey arrived in the scheduled window - goodBut they didn't like the water shutoff valve I had, so decided they couldn't complete the install that dayI let them know I'd get it taken care of and schedule again ASAPand asked what other issues might possibly arise that would keep them from completing the installation next timeI got an ambiguous answer but was told further issues would be unlikely I had the plumber come later that same day and scheduled for Linn Star to come back week laterThey did - again in a timely mannerThis time, they couldn't find the breaker switch to turn off the electricI turned multiple switches off, and they advised it was against their policy to proceed with multiple breakers flippedThey called the boss, and you could hear him yelling on the other endHe sounded upset with me and with his employees, but refused to talk with me personally Finding the right breaker was easy, of course- in fact, it took my wife and I ~minutes to find the appropriate breaker when I installed the unitAlso, when we went to install the unit ourselves, we found they took part of the installation kit we bought with the unit It was frustrating that I took two days off work for nothingFrustrating that such a simple task thwarted themFrustrating that MY water supply hose was takenThe guys were nice and timelyThe boss seemed like a jerkI would definitely not recommend purchasing the installation from Home Depot in this areaLinn Star is a transfer companyThey aren't installation pros

Worst installers I have seen, broke my pipe and trying to take no responsibilities what so ever

Failed to properly install refrigeratorRefused to correct issue in a timely manner I purchased appliances from Home Depot in Columbia, MO in July, Linn Star was their delivery carrierThey came to my house to install the appliances including a refrigerator, and failed to properly installWhen my wife went to open the freezer drawer the entire refrigerator pulled away from the wallThere was still a bag of hardware inside of the refrigeratorMy wife called Linn Star customer service and was told that the earliest they could fix the problem was a week later (despite the fact that the delivery driver had left less than minutes ago and we were still w/in our hour time window for installation)I place a follow up call to Linn Star to express my dissatisfaction with this and attempt to get the issue resolved in a timely mannerThe manager I spoke to was exceedingly rude (I should have, but failed to get her name) and behaved as though this was my problem and that Linn St

Made every excuse in the book not to install the dishwasher right off the batAli was great he said he was gonna install but the little guy that was the boss of the crew was ready for lunch apparently and off they went, I had to pull out old dishwasher and install the new one myselfHow is this company still in business!!!!

This company should not be in business I ordered a gas range from Home Depot and had it installed a week later The Linn Star guys were quick, in and out The next day, I smelled gas from the new range Called Linn Star and they sent their guys out to check the connection The second crew came out and did nothing to check the gas line connection All they did was open the range door, said they smelled gas, turned off the gas connection and told me I had a defective gas range and get another one from Home Depot I did just that Got another gas range installed a week later with a third crew, and the same thing happened again Another gas leak REALLY? What are the odds that I get a defective range the second time?? This time, I called the gas company out and the guy told me that Linn Star did not have the range hooked up properly and used the cheep crap gas line and the coupler was not positioned correctly on the range connection After about 1/hour, the line was repaired properly by someone who KNOWS what they are doing I called Linn Star and told them that these guys need to go get some training if they are to work with gas lines! I thank the good Lord that I am still here to tell about it, otherwise, this company could have blown me up with the rest of the building In short, all three Linn Star teams should be fired! We are talking human lives that could have been lost! I also let Home Depot know what a schlocky company Linn Star is I thought these were certified technicians Linn Star Transfer better clean up their act or get out of the business

Appliances were ordered but no call was made regarding delivery and no call was made when the products were not delivered I placed an order on behalf of my company on February 16, through Home Depot for delivery of a fridge and dishwasher (Home Depot Order #HXXXX-XXXXX)I was told that I would receive a call from Linn Star on February 26, to alert me to the delivery windowNeither maintenance nor myself received a call regarding a delivery windowI gave them my work cell so I could be reached regardless of the time that they calledOn February 27, 2018, neither the fridge nor the dishwasher was delivered with no call receivedThis morning (February 28, 2018) I called Home Depot to determine what had happenedThe customer rep at Home Depot said everything looked good on their end and the order was processed correctlyThe Home Depot customer rep was told that the dishwasher was on backorder but the the fridge should've been deliveredAfter the Home Depot customer rep

This company just completed a delivery and install of a range we purchased from Home DepotI cannot adequately express how satisfied and impressed I am with the entire experience! After recently dealing with a used appliance store and incompetence with their delivery team, it was so refreshing to work with such a professional and courteous company!! They arrived within the scheduled time frame, they handled the oven with care, explained and installed the anti-tip device, tested the oven to ensure all the components were working correctly, and were done in minutes! Thank you for the punctual and professional delivery!

A refrigerator was delivered to my house by Linn star transferThe delivery team first pushed the new refrigerator in at an angle into the opening so hard that it chipped the corner of the countertop and gouged a section of wooden trimThe delivery team then disassembled the doors in order to move the hinge location to change the door swingThey couldn't figure out if it was even possible to move the hinges and asked that I call home depot and ask the appliance department for hinge relocation adviceI told the team that if we were unable to relocate the hinge location, I would have to return the fridge and go a different routeI then called home depot and spoke with ***While I was on the phone with ***The installers loaded up the refrigerator into their truck without further discussing the hinge relocationThey did break off a post cap on my deck as they took the fridge back to the truckOne installer came back to my house and asked if I would sign a paperBefore lookin

Linn star stated would deliver washing machine on the 9th of may but it was damaged they received my replacement on the 11th@12:25.enoughtimetoloadtruck They could have loaded my new machine in time for delivery on the the machine was damaged Samsung states they do not send damaged products but based on the complaints apparently linn star does this a lotThey lied to Samsung who promised my delivery on may 13th saying they didn't get the new machine in time to load their truck for the next day but if Samsung had my machine at linn star by 12:in the afternoon why did they NOT keep their promise to deliver my machine on the 13thThey were suppose to bring it on the 9th,they damaged it,so they took it back and said the 13, then with NO NOTICE changed the date to the 16thThere is laundry piled high in my house a dead washer based on Samsung recall, and a transportation company,linn star who seems to like to be disingenuous when it comes to doing their job
