The Surety Exterminating salesman who came to my door seemed personable and decent He told me that he was currently servicing other households in my neighborhood and that he came by often to check on the houses for which he was responsible When he learned that I am a professor at [redacted] University, he enthusiastically shared with me that his company was founded by a distinguish and knowledgeable professor at [redacted] University I wanted to protect my house and family, I was in a hurry to get back to my work, and his sales pitch was reasonably persuasive, so I signed the contract It turns out that this salesperson does not personally provide any of the service They sent a technician who was the most uninspired, lazy person that I have encountered in a very long time He failed to do the two things that I specifically pointed out to him: â?¢ The fire ants continued to multiply dramatically in the weeks after his visit I have now taken care of the problem myself It is very disappointing to pay money for a service and then drive minutes round trip to Home Depot, pay for chemicals, and do the job that I have already paid someone else to do â?¢ I pointed out the mud dauber nests to the technician He looked at them from a distance and, without any up-close examination, declared them dormant and turned his back and walked away There are a lot of these nest in our attic and they are growing in number The lack of interest on the part of the Technician made it clear that I am on my own to figure out what to do about it I deeply regret not doing due diligence I could have learned a lot by: â?¢ Getting a list of my neighbors and contacting them regarding their experience â?¢ Getting the name of the [redacted] University professor who founded the company â?¢ Reading the online reviews of Surety Exterminating I have since done all of that, sadly, after it was too late I have now read the online reviews, most of which are horrible All the positive reviews are five stars This seems incredibly suspicious It makes me wonder if these good reviews are all from family members or members of Surety Exterminating I contacted the local office of Surety Exterminating When I requested the name of the [redacted] professor who founded the company, I learned that there never was an [redacted] University professor involved in any way in the company Apparently not all the Surety Exterminating employees are on-board with this deceptive business practice of lying about what expertise is available in the company Based upon my contacts with them, I think there are at least two honest people in the company I wanted to warn the [redacted] University professor regarding what was being done in his name and in the name of [redacted] University It turns out, he never existed I cancelled my credit card, so they could not bill me for the services that I never received Since then, they have been sending me emails and letters, threatening to destroy my credit This is presumably a local company, but the threatening letters are sent from a Post Office box in Utah One gets the impression that this is a multilevel, shadow organization and not a decent, local, service company If they spent half the effort providing service as they spend threatening people, they might be a good company In conclusion: â?¢ Surety Exterminating consistently failed to deliver on their promises â?¢ For anyone signing a contract with Surety Exterminating, Surety Exterminating gets their signature, credit card information, and where they live â?¢ However, anyone will find it extremely challenging to find out where Surety Exterminating is, because their company agents hide behind a shadow organization that works out of a Post Office boxin Utah or, maybe anywhere Post Office boxes exist everywhere, always available to serve people who use unscrupulous, fraudulent, deceptive methods in business They have an organization structured around two tasks: â?¢ Persuade people to sign contracts â?¢ Use those contracts as a tool to bludgeon and intimidate the persons who signed them My request to the Revdex.com of Raleigh is to consider my complaint and to read the [redacted] reviews of [redacted] L., [redacted] C., [redacted] C., and [redacted] L They have all related similar horrible experiences working with this company [redacted] The evidence is mounting that this company is a shyster organization that is causing a huge amount of grief for many people Their business model is to prey on people, not provide service At the very least, their rating needs to be downgraded One of the five-star reviews on [redacted] mentions the Better Bureau rating of A+ You may be inadvertently aiding and abetting behavior that is at best unscrupulous, and possibly illegal For sure, it is a terrible business practice If there are other actions that you can take to curtail the damage that this company is doing, I would deeply appreciate that assistance First, in mid-2018, a salesman ( [redacted] and [redacted] ) sold me on the following: No Cancellation Fee Local Company that looks out for the local customers No run around like big companies Quick Response If the customer is not satisfied with a treatment, they will come back out for free to treat the property again The salesman completely lied Secondly, a few days after the first treatment, there were still many insects crawling both outside and inside my homeI called Surety, but I continued to get a busy signal for weeks straightIn the first week and a half, I just wanted Surety to treat the property again as they promisedBy the time I got through in the third week, I was frustratedI felt as if they were just stealing my money At this point, I let the representative know about my failed attempts to reach someone by phoneHer response was that they only have one line, and it's hard for them to be able to field every callI responded by saying that it's There are many cheap services that help small companies set up an automated systemThis way customers can wait on hold and not receive a busy signal I told the rep to cancel my service because of their failure to respond in a quick and efficient manner proved that they were not capable of doing the job that was promisedThis is when the rep said that there was a cancellation feeI responded by saying the salesman said there was no cancellation feeThe rep also stated that the only person who could close an account was not availableThis was not the words I wanted to hear when it took weeks just to be able to speak to someoneThen the rep slipped and said that she could close the account out, but not override the cancellation feeI finally asked to speak to a supervisorThe rep said that the only person who can override a cancellation fee is the ownerTo their convenience, the owner wasn't available Finally, I requested that she close the accountI also told her that I was going to contact my credit card company to block them from taking money out; since it was set up as auto withdrawal In conclusion, months have passed and I never received an invoice or a phone call back from Surety, but in November I received a letter from a collection agency about a cancellation fee that was never paidJudging by Surety failing to uphold their end of the bargain: impossible to reach, poor service, never sent an invoice of there own, etc- it is Surety that ultimately breached any contract, therefore voiding anything that was signed by meI've dealt with franchise companies that have more integrity than this small companyPlease, retrain your sales staff and repsAlso, upgrade your telephone system; it's not that expensive

The contract was never been send to me until they want to charge me more and they never fullfill the contract in timely matterThe sales person knocked my door and saying they are doing pest control nearby so they could provide the service at discounted price to meThey walk around and said they could help me control the ants problem, wasps, and many other thingsI feel that it is a good to tryNo one showed me the final contract and talked about the early termination feeThey came and did initial service and then one follow up treatmentHowever, the ant and roach problem is not solvedRight after the treatment, there are ants problem in my house twiceI have tried every method to contact them but no one repliedI have to solve the problem myselfIf I purchased a contract that no one is there when I need it, then it is not a valid contractI emailed them and called them and tell them I need to cancel the service as it is not what it is suppose to beStill no timely response

I too am a victim of Surety Exterminating CompanySurety NEVER came day of appointment and now dealing with a collection agency We tried calling and talking with Surety and after several attempts did talk with a man who was not very pleasantAfter going back and forth he finally said I didn't have to payThen I get a billTried calling many times and the phone just rings off the hook with no voice mailI also have gone by business many times which looks abandonedAlso, reading the other reviews it sounds all too familiar So I give a BIG ZERO stars to Surety Exterminating CompanyDon't let the star fool you

Contacted the office concerning wanting to cancel a reservationUpon contacting them I informed them of the fact that the card used, I no longer had as that account had been closedI was due a refund of moneys used to hold the roomIn order to refund that money, they needed a credit card to refund the moneys toI provided them with a credit card to refund the funds toTwo days later, I get a charge to my account for the amount of what the refund should have beenI contacted them and they stated they had a receipt that shows that I received two refunds in the pass and therefore owe them moneyThey sent me a receipt in the mail and then I got a phone call stating they could not talk to account to figure out the problem, they don't know if both of them went through or not A couple of issues: When I first called for the refund, it showed in their system that I was due one and confirmed the amountNow I told them that that account is closed and provided another credit card, they c

Surety is claiming we owe them money for services NOT RENDEREDThey have gone online to post negative reviews in retaliation
We here at *** Company terminated our contract with Surety in September of (after over years)We are being billed for service in both October and November that we never receivedSurety also renewed our termite contract without our permission and without ever providing the serviceWhen we asked for a signed receipt of services done in both October and November as well as the termite service Surety was unable to provide them to us

On October 27, I made reservations to stay the night at the Stanley HotwlThey informed me the price would be $220+taxesWhen I arrived to the hotel the price was $275+taxesAfter checking in we decided not to stayThe front desk manager was kind enough to let us not stay the night, and issued a full refundThe hotel credited our bank account and we went homeOn the 28th of October $was credited from our bank account and I have called almost every day trying to get the hotel to credit our accountEvery employee I have talked to has said that the credit has been issued, yet no one will send me any physical evidence of thisThe money has not been credited to our bank account and the hotel is still saying they have done it
