I purchased a Lay z Boy two seat sofa in March 2016 the sales person told us a life time warranty on mechanisms as well as fabric because I special ordered a custom fabric. Before it was a year old the cushions and fabric were looking very worn. I called store. a rep came out and looked at it, agree it was worn and ordered new cushions. Within 3-6 weeks the cushions came in and were replaced. The same thing happened within 30 days, new cushions look worn and fabric appears "balled up" or rolled up, looks like it is 10 years old! I visited the store on August 26, 2017 to speak to Manager(Daniel) he was on vacation. The sales person told me my previous sales person was fired due to issues like I described, giving false information regarding merchandise. We are retired, and limited income. The sofa was $1000. The chairs I purchased at same time are in perfect condition. I think its a bad batch of fabric on the sofa. My total purchase was $2950, cash to them! I chose to shop with local owned small business over big box company to support local economy. I was contacted two days later and told that nothing could be done.

Replacement I think I should be allowed to make a new purchase at a significantly discount. I did ask about a sofa I saw in store and was told I could get a $50 discount, which is ridiculous after spending almost $3000 only a year before only to have a faulty product. Thank you for any help on this issue or at least warn consumers to ask and get warranty in writing!
have been contacted by La-z-boy Corporate. *** concern over the fabric. According to the coordinators at La-z-boy, it was just normal wear in the fabric and not a flaw. Long Furniture is held to La-z-boy's warranty. We can not add or take away anything that they have in the warranty.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Thank you Revdex.com for your response. But Long & Laz z Biy response is ridiculous! If you could see the worn out fabric & lumpy sofa I think you would agree. $999 2 seat worn out in a year! I think not. View the discolored fabric. Balled up with fibers sticking up. It is A bad run of fabric. The chairs I purchased @799 each are perfect. Huge difference
Poor quality fabric was on sofa. Stuffing not full.
I am so disappointed in local furniture store, no customer service. Laz z boy is a huge company. They don't care about. 1 $3000 sell! They did not even open the email with pics of fabric issues! I will never buy their product. I will never shop at Long Furniture in Rainbow City. I do appreciate your time. I have sent you pics to *** so you will know I am not making this up. Total worn out furniture after a year. My last furniture lasted 16 years! And it was Laz z boy.
Big difference in new & old. Old made very well.
