Loot Crate Reviews (27)

I have never had so many problems with a subscription crate before. Even new, struggling companies with little subscription box experience actually cancel your box when you hit the handy little "cancel my subscription" link on their website. This is not so with Lootcrate. You have to hit the cancel button, send them your first child, decode the Voynich manuscript and tell them who shot JFK. But really, they bill your for the next month's crate about 2.5 seconds after you receive your first crate so you can't cancel your crate until the next month if you end up not liking your first crate. This means your account says "pending cancellation." I have never had another subscription service that does this. If I hit cancel for those, it is immediately canceled. On top of this, their customer service crew seems to be made up with young folks who berate you for using st and d*mned in a message (not directed towards the customer service rep, I was referring to my experience), and warn you that they will refuse to answer your customer service inquiry if you swear. Really? We're all adults here. I can't believe how unprofessional this is. Are you really surprised that someone who is contacting customer service is unhappy about something? Apparently Lootcrate has never heard the adage that a customer who had a good customer service experience will tell a dozen people, while a customer who has had a bad customer service experience will tell 100.

I signed up for Loot Crate for a Christmas present for my husband. It was fine until a friend told me how they basically mocked her in an email. I have no time for businesses that don't appreciate their customers. I emailed them and told them I would be cancelling and why I was cancelling. Their response to this was a generic email telling me basically "okay." The very NEXT DAY I get an email from them telling me to refer a friend to their company. Absolutely not. I will take no part in a company that treats customers poorly.

Mystery Crates are a complete scam.

They show you a plethora of loot crates you can possibly get from the vault, but then they ship you 4 of the exact same loot crates (one that you already owned). What a $#*!ing rip off. I ordered multiple because, you know, sometimes that increases your chance of getting something cool that you didn't have before. They shipped me 4 of the exact same crate (one that was sub par to begin with). It's a complete scam, NEVER buy mystery crates. It's just their way of making more money from their leftovers.

Plus, they are really, really late. I was waiting for over a month in anticipation, kind of excited to see what I got. NOPE. TRASH. DON'T USE.

I have been a lootcrater for about four months I got charged again for another month and I was going to cancel for the other month but my account got locked I got charged for two months and I am still getting charged and I cant cancel my subscription please help?

The product is great, but customer support is atrocious. With only email support and no way to resolve problems quickly it takes at least a week and is an exercise in frustration if something goes wrong.

I have been a loyal subscriber for several months including purchasing special crates and limited time offers. I also signed up for their "level up" program. The first month went great. The second month I was sent 2 tracking numbers and neither arrived. I contacted customer support via email. I received an automatic message a day later saying I would get a response in a few days. 3 days later I received an email stating I would be refunded and the item could not be shipped as they were no more available. No explanation was given on how they can provide tracking information for something that never shipped. I replied asking this question and expressing my disappointment and displeasure with their customer service, frankly being cold and offering no empathy. Again I received an auto message in a few days. FIVE days later I received a message from the same service rep that not only did not address my concerns but insulted me with a "thanks for your suggestions". I emailed the CEO at his published email address and have not heard from them again. Once my paid subscriptions are complete I will no longer do business with this company and encourage no one else to do business with them either.

I received broken merchandise from their subscription program. I began a live chat with them, and got a response right away. The agent asked for pictures of the broken product and immediately submitted to have a new one sent to me.
Very pleases with the process. I wish more people would leave positive reviews.
