I Stopped at Love's truck stop on 7/21/2020 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to get a new drive tire replaced on my 2019 Kenworth dump truck. The tire they put on my truck which I assumed would be a new 2020 tire actually turned out to be a 2017 manufactured tire and I was charged full price as if it were a 2020 manufactured tire. I was never told it was a 3 year old tire which may not seem like a big deal but the casings for tires are only good for a certain amount of time which means I will receive less money for the tire when it comes time to replace it and get the casing credit if at all due to the age of manufacture. I feel this is dishonest on Love's part and when I talked to the manager about it he was very rude. I will never buy tires from Love's again and I warn people to check the manufacture year of the tire before buying it from Love's. I asked the manager for a discount on this older manufactured tire but he flat out refused to do anything about it. I am seeking a discount on this tire and an apology from Love's for how rude and unprofessional their manager was.

Having to wear a mask is fine with me but when your employees care more about a mask then actually cleaning your bathrooms and showers that still have hair and bodily fluid all over the place I think that maybe you should retrain your staff the proper way what is the difference from going in with a mask on and having everyone touching your coffee handles plus sugar and cream containers With out being sanitized in between think about it but then you wanna enforce wearing mask pointless

I fueled at the Love's #367 in Leroy, IL. While I was there I took my trailer into the shop for a ABS warning light going on and off intermittently. While removing the wheels to check the sensor, the Tec supported himself with my mud flap hanger and it broke. He attempted to fix it, their welder was broke, so he tried with bolts and bits of metal, but could not fix it, I left with the ABS light still on and a broken mud flap hanger. I was charge $ 231.72 for not fixing the ABS and breaking and not fixing the mud flap hanger. I contacted head office and was contacted by Mr. Willie *** and I was going to get in contact with him after I got the repairs. A few days later I needed to return my trailer to Tampa Crane where it was refurbished for a unrelated paint problem and they fixed the mud flap hanger free of charge. Way to go Tampa Crane! I sent Mr. an E-mail stating the mud flap was fixed a while ago, but no reply so far. Maybe he thought they got away with breaking my stuff and charging me for not fixing it. I would like to say this was an one off occurrence, I visited Love's #445 sious falls sd. for a pm. They could not remove my front diff oil level bung because it had been over tightened and the nut rounded by the previous love's shop. To top that they couldn't apply my Mercer $40 discount coupon. Anyways I had my steering tires replaced at Love's #697 of newton NC. they had a go at trying to remove the diff bung, but it beat them also, looks like I will have to do it myself when I get home. Some might think why do you keep going back to love's? This is trucking, finding reliable servicing is tuff, if you stopped using a service because you weren't treated the same as the rest of the public, you would have no truck drivers left. Saying that, truck service is hundred times better than it was and Love's is the reason.

Speedco is the only ones to change the oil in our trucks for years. 4/5/2020 they over torqued the fill plug in the rear end. We stopped in on 6/10/2020 for an oil change is when this was discovered. It costed me $111.80 to refill rear grease/oil. they never attempted to replace the fill plug. The owner has to go to a nearest location Ellers Diesel Repair & paid $70.20 to replace fill plug. I have waited a week on MGR to return from vacation to correct this issue. If I had waited that long to fix my truck this couldve costed thousands. However, we did not return back to Haw River at this time because it's out of route. upon speaking on the phone all I asked was for a fair refund of the grease/oil & the fill plug. She lost my business by not making things right. I have paper work on everything. Phone conversations & prices & work.

On 5/12/2020 I have repair done in Loves tire care in Burlington CO. After fuel filter replacement
my truck couldn't start After countless starts battery was low . One of the mechanics brought
the service truck to jump start my truck Those guys was in hurry to start my truck they
use 24V jump on the 12v system In result they burn starter and battery. The next day
mechanics put the new starter and 3 battery's Finally truck starts After I left repair shop
I have notice big shortage voltage drop inside the cab from 12.6 on battery to 10.5v My ELD
Electronic Log device was rebooting all the time and battery was discharging fast. The next day
I went back to the same shop in Burlington,Co I was complain about it They send mechanic to take look at it Mechanic told me to fix such a thinks it could take few days and he cant help me .
I decide to go deliver my load and on my way down I stop stop at Volvo repair shop to fix it .
I drove to Rock Spring Wyoming and stop at authorize Volvo truck repair shop to check this
problem They did diagnostic they says Tuck has electrical affecting everything .That was
Friday 1pm thy wasn't able to fix it They says "come back Monday " I had load to be deliver following Monday in Junction city Oregon 1400 miles away.I am owner Operator with Landstar,Co
To deliver the load is my responsibility . After I Left Volvo shop in Rock Spring 10 mile East of Rock Spring my truck stop working engine stop smoke was cumming from the fuse box location.
Something was burning under the dash . Truck has been towed away back to same volvo repair shop
In Rock Spring ,WY They already send me a bill $3.293.67 Plus estimate for total additional
repair $10.473.70 Towing $735.25 Repair in loves shop $686.68 Because Of wrong Unfortunate
Repair I Have lost my truck my tool My source of income . And I will loose my job with Landstar. I contacted Will Shmitd Risk management specialist at Loves Corporation

Stopped for gas on bar creek pike in Tennessee and couldn’t get our car started. Taylor and Robert fixed a loose wire on the starter. We had been driving for 10 hrs and were so tired. They were kind and didn’t charge us. I will forever be a customer of Loves and will pass other stations to go to them. Thank you for your kindness!

If I could give zero starts rating for this LOVE'S location (store #412) I would. On 5/4/20 I've stopped at their 3948 Hodges Chapel Rd, Dunn, NC 28334 location (Exit 77 on I-95) on my way from FL to NY in order to buy 5 cartons of cigarettes and soft drinks. Once I got back into my car (which was parked in front of the store) I've realized that I was overcharged for the cartons of cigarettes. I immediately went back to in the store, the lady that sold me the items couldn't explain why I was charged more than the price she said. She then called a manager named Brian *** to handle the situation. It took Brian more than 5 minutes to figure out what happened, apparently the lady told me the wrong price. When I asked to return the cigarettes cartons for a full refund (so I can buy it cheaper in another place), I was told by Brian that it's a federal crime to accept cigarettes back once I've exited the store. Brian wasn't willing to rectify the situation or to "make it right" in any way. To top it all off, Brain showed no regrets nor expressed any apologies for his worker's mistake. I ended up having no choice but to leave the store stunned, feeling cheated and without a way to return something I purchased literally 1 minutes before. Overall bad service, under trained employees, lack of courteous approach by employees and the manager. I will never stop there again.
On 5/5/20 I’ve advised Love’s in writing of the matter (via a message sent through their website) while asking to contact me to rectify the situation. As of today, I didn’t hear back from no one about the matter.

I stopped at this location for tire repair. Tgey put a retread tire but after only 464 miles in mt vernon the tire bursted. There was no other loves in mext 70 to 80 miles. Driver was on the road. He called TA service for assistance. Now when contacted Loves about how tire can birst only after 400 miles, they are not agreeing with us. Keep on saying we went to a competitor. The tire is in guarantee, and they are not agreeing to give us our warranty now. The guy dealing with this is *** whom I spoke regarding and is trying to get off of it now.

Stopping at 2 loves stores along US65 I tried to get spmething to eat only to be turned away but watching the locals go right in and get food amazing you think I should frequent more loves stores I think not the second store in the Pine Bluff AR area the girl couldnt get off of the counter just yelled at 5 customers we are closed what a picture the manager didnt care either trust me I wont be stopping at loves any more

Traveling from Alabama to Michigan. Without fail Loves Travel Stop is undoubtedly the most consistent friendliest and cleanest place to take a travel break. Thank you.

I drove into loves for an oil change, all filter change and all my battery change with took the shop 2 and half days to finish up with my truck. Why? Lack of experience and focused shop attendance and poor service performance. First, my batteries were changed with wrong sizes and smaller voltages so my mentee was reading so low. After pointing out server all times to the guy at the workshop, he got angry and called the manager who took sides of the shop attender with little and no information. And not even a technical knowledge of what needs to be done and performance of the batteries in complaint. After several attempt of pointing out the possibility of wrong or faulty batteries installed in my truck, it was finally confirmed that the batteries where wrong installation and I just lost a whole day of operation due to total disorganized and poor quality of service and lack of experience mechanic available.
2 weeks after, I also noticed the 4 bolts meant to fasten my air filter case were never fastened and left loose all the way letting so mush dust and sand finding there way into my engine. My lights came on and after serveral hours trying to find out why the fault indication, I saw I had no bolt on the air filter and it was about falling off. I was so emotionally upset because I spent 1k plus for all services and was kept there for 2 days + and I am still talking about this again and about to lose another day to get things fixed. Each day spent not productive, I lose $1800. Couples with the economy and events. I need my oil changed and filters replaced with all brackets and bolts fastened accordingly. This is to avoid the chance of I driving the truck with sand particles in the engine mixed with oil.
I called same location and spoke with a shop attendant and manager and was rudely received and treated poorly with no consideration or intention to resolve or address my complaints. I feel such service do not deserve my business and others with such poor services

On our trip from Tucson to Denver we used only Love ‘s truck stops for gas and bathroom on recommendation from a friend. We’re so impressed with cleanliness and kindness ( and prices) at every stop... highly recommend especially during this Covid19 time... thank you!

Defective Lottery Machine
Message:
I inserted a $10 bill into the lottery machine at LOVE'S #346 (truck stop) on 04/09/2020 around 9:40 pm I selected a $3 powerball/powerplay ticket witch I received.
My remaining balance was $7 when the machine got jammed up.
When I asked for help, the manager who fixed the machine told me that the screen display is now showing balance $0. So I should contact the Tennessee State Lottery to get a refund.
I contacted the TN lottery, they referred me back to the store manager whom I spoke to on the phone. His resolution for the matter was for me to return to the store and get my refund.
I responded in an email as follows:
I wish to say that this is RIDICULOUS!
I just spoke with the manager Lance of that store. He told me that there is nothing he can do about it other than me going back to that particular store to get my refund.
I am an OVER THE ROAD truck driver. I just happened to drop by that store on my way to a shipper.
Obviously that manager doesn't understand what it is like to be an Over the Road truck Driver. If he did, he would NOT require me to return to his store to get my refund. I paid money, and I did not get the service. To make matters worse, I am given the HARDEST TIME TO GET MY MONEY BACK!
I don't care if it's $7 or $7 million, it is my money, I worked hard for it and I want it back. Please don't make it difficult for me.
I just cannot believe why NOBODY would take ownership of this situation and issue me a refund???
How many times truck drivers' $10 bills get stuck in that lottery machine at the Love's 346 at around 9:39pm!!???
Am I trying to trick the Tennessee Lottery or the Love's Truck Stop out of $7!???
Is that the reason why you are making it difficult for me to get MY MONEY BACK!???
Please resolve this matter in a most reasonable way possible, but don't ask me to drive a company truck back there (out of route) or hope that one day ( a month, 6 months or a year from now) I happen to have that partic

I purchased diesel gas with Love's for my F-250 Ford Truck on February 3, 2020 and within minutes of purchasing the gas, while driving home the truck started smoking black smoke from the exhaust pipe and by the time I got home(about 10 mls) the truck was skipping and eventually cut off in the drive way. I had the truck towed to a diesel mechanic and the mechanic determined their were levels of water in the diesel that caused the reaction. The diesel mechanic noticed the tips of the injectors were broken which fell into the engine and the cause of the injectors tips to break indicates water in the fuel. When I reached out to the Love's Corp, a representative immediately told me that I could do a claim but he can almost tell me that they were not going to pay, but submit it anyways. I submitted the claim and then he called back to say, Oh I did a water level test and it wasn't our fault. I said how did you do a water level test and I never gave you the date the fuel was purchased? He said Oh I assumed it was the day that you submitted the claim. So I gave him the date and sent the invoice of what the repairs would cost and he called back a few days later to say that he ran another test and he could find no evidence of any problems with the fuel at that location. After reading some of the other reports from people posting complaints with the gas station, I see that they pretty much tell everyone the same thing. I am 85 yrs old and take pride and joy in my truck and would never try to get over on anyone. I just want Love's to take responsibility on what was their fault. I think the customer service rep was very short and had already determined what his response was going to be. I wanted to take this case higher than the representative and wanted to file a claim with the Revdex.com after reading all the other claims from this business to come to a final favorable conclusion for this matter for both parties. They state they will have someone call you, the person calls and then that person runs a "diagnostic" and get back with you saying oh that particular day the water levels were low, so we can't file your claim. b>

Concerning the loves in Dublin,ga. Off of exit 49. I have been sitting here for the past 4 hours, waiting to get my tire fixed. The tire specialists, advised to me that once a service call comes in they are told to drop everything they Had get in the trucks and head to said location. However being here for this amount of time, should have at least started on me. I was here before the service calls were initiated, shouldn’t that have some type of recognition? I’m a paying customer just as well as the next person. I request contact.

I stopped at the loves travel center in Wells Nevada to get fuel and also purchase tire chains. The reason I purchased the tire chains because I was bringing a semi home from California I just purchased to Nebraska where I farm. A potential winter storm was going through Wyoming and I wanted to make sure if I got caught I would have the necessary provisions to make it home to Nebraska that day. I was told by two loves employees that I could purchase the tire chains and as long as I did not use them I could return them if I still had my receipt. When I got to Sidney Nebraska I no longer needed the tire chains when I went to return them at loves in Sydney I was informed that they are not returnable ever even though mine were on opened. I tried explaining to them that they have never been used and they were still in the bags I was told again I cannot return them under any conditions they are not returnable. I told him that I was not informed of this and he told me I should try going back to Wells Nevada to return them then. I did not care for his smart alec attitude.

I am rejecting this response because:Having that print on the bottom of the receipt after I was misled to purchase it does me no good. I was reassured by two loves employees that if I did not open the tire chains I could return them as long as I kept the receipt. The print at the bottom of the receipt is faded and very hard to read but it does not matter after I make the purchase I cannot return them even standing there at the counter. All I want is to be able to return unused merchandise as any other merchandiser would allow a customer to do. Your rule for not being able to return metal tire chains and have never been opened or used is the stupidest rule I have ever heard of. It is not like alcohol, tobacco or food products. It cannot be altered and will not be ingested by a human being to make them sick. There’s no reason why you cannot make an exception to your rule given the fact to employees from your Wells Nevada location miss lead a customer to purchasing over $300 worth of merchandise it cannot be returned. If I am not allowed to return the merchandise for a full and complete refund even for store credit I will never ever set foot in another love’s travel stop as long as I live. It should be noted that I am 36 years old, I am a farmer that buys transport loads of fuel and I will publicize this gross and egregious error. This is not the way a large business treated customers. It is bad for business!

Loyalty Rewards program. I own my own trucking business and still drive one of my trucks. I switched over to there fueling program. I had 3 showers 3 drink refills, 585 rewards points.I was registered on their app. At midnight my card disappeared of my loves app. Went to reenter the card number it would bot let me. I was supposed to start earning 2points per gallon. Next month for making Gold lvl. They have also taken my shower credits and left me with no shower for the weekend. This is how you thank you new rewards member Loves????

What a dump, dump, dump, dump, dump....

We drive a semi and spend a LOT of money there! I have had pubic hair in the shower on the soap dish, filthy shower handles almost every place we go, hair in a trash can, one smelled like vomit and on and on! We have paid for premium wifi, just to get kicked off and unable to use it, we paid for watching TV and NEVER could connect, we spent 484.00 on fuel, JUST TODAY and cannot get wifi at all! We were inside the building, standing at the counter and no wifi! My husband asked for our 1000 points back for the services we could never use and all he got was a response saying they would let the store location know! It is an issue at every travel stop! You have bobtails taking up nine to ten full spaces and at least ten drop trailers and when we come in and have no drive time left, this is a HUGE ISSUE! The stores have signs, but no one does ANYTHING ABOUT IT! Trucker Josh who is all over youtube with vlogs goes to Flying J bc of the same reason- the internet STINKS! When people are fueling thousands of dollars and can’t even conduct business or find a place to park, it is WRONG!!! You need more bandwidth or a new ISP! We will take our business elsewhere! We have had it!!!!!

We are so sorry to hear that the showers you have encountered fell beneath the clean standard we are usually proud to present. Additionally, our parking lot policies on 'no dropped trailers' should be followed at all times, but we let you down in this regard as well. If you are able to provide the locations that these two issues occurred in, we will immediately notify the operations teams so they can address these concerns.
