Low Budget Movers Reviews (61)

The terms and condition contract would be in affect for the load and unload of the entire process You would not be able to accept coverage on half of the move and decline the other half That is why you would only have one terms and conditions contract to join both work orders The reason the areas in which you sign are high lighted is to show the areas that you sign post signature In accordance to the contract and work orders we are going exactly by the book I really do wan to apologize for the accident and damages that happened but we have to go by the contract as written and acceptedThe refrigerator is approximately 300lb, which at per pound per article would be in standard coverage The check was issued and mailed and you have received Additional coverage was not purchased at time of load and contract was signed to decline coverage Payment was made in full

To whom it may concern, This is our response in regards to this customerWe did a load only for [redacted] Millard, which by the way is not even the name of the person putting in this complaint, on June 23rd @ [redacted] Our crew arrived there at 7:35am to start loading her truck that was going to TexasFirst and foremost this is a load only which means it is the customer's responsibility to have a necessary straps and pads available to us so we can properly protect all of her belongings for the trip [redacted] only had pads available to us on move day which by far is insufficient for her loadIn addition, the guys did shrink wrap any pieces that had drawers and doorsOn a special note, shrink wrap on protects pieces from coming open or from falling apart it does not however protect during transport which is why pads are neededNormally we do not shrink wrap beds unless requested by the customer and she did not request so the guys loaded them just as they wereIn the end, our guys did their job properly but were not given the necessary pads which should had been provided by [redacted] since we can not provide our pads on a load only move as was explained to her when she booked the jobFurthermore, once a load leaves our possession we are no longer responsible for what happens because we are not driving the truck nor unloading it at the destination During Transport, we cannot determine how the person is driving the truck, or if the unload was done properly and item were damaged on that end [redacted] , once the truck was loaded signed our contract agreeing that the truck was loaded correctly and all items were not damaged while in our possession which on a "load only" job is all we can guarantee or insureI will attach a copy of the work order as a finding that all was good at time of delivery

On 06/17/we performed a move for [redacted] , yes she was scheduled between 12-3pm, unfortunately we were very late to her to unforeseen circumstances with the previous move but sometimes that's the drawback on being the afternoon customer, moving can be unpredictable as far as time frames Our movers did have an issue trying to get this large couch up her stairs and unfortunately due to the set up of the stairs and the size of the couch some damage did occur during the processAfter further deliberation on Low Budget Movers part we are in the process of setting up one of our vendors to make a visit out to her house to fix the couchI have already left a message for Laurie stating that we have initiated that processWe hope once this is done that this will bring the claim to a close

I am addressing the response, I am the legal spouse of [redacted] and I was present during the loading process [redacted] stated that there was no discussion on the phone of any materials needed by usThe movers when arriving asked [redacted] if she had any moving materialsWe had blankets and moving padsThe movers brought shrink wrapThe movers when finishing the load ran out of room due to the insufficient utilization of space they could have used by stacking higher to the trucks ceilingThey panicked at the end and started piling bicycles, chairs and our table stacking them on topWe provided rope for security, which they securedThere was a lack of communication on their partThe "movers" and or moving company are suppose to be the "experts" and need to communicate before and during the packing processWe have the pictures to show the pack job as we arrived and nothing was unloaded yetWe also have pictures of the damaged furnitureIt is time and date stampedWe arrived on June 24th at approximately 5pmWe have a witness which is our landlord whom we meant for the first time.Sincerely, [redacted] (Legal Spouse of [redacted] ) Present during load

We still stand by our first responseEvery customer we book that is a load only, we thoroughly explain to them to have enough pads available so that we can protect their furniture properly, shrink wrap does not protect during the trip, its designed to keep things from opening up and giving the item extra stability but again does not protect against rubbing, puncturing, chipping etcWe sent out movers that do this everyday and are only as good as the tools given to them in this case the lack of padding which the customer did not sufficiently provide for usWe would be more than happy to send a very long list of customers and their testimonies that have also used us during load onlys and regular local/long distance moves that our movers know what they are doingAgain, we stand by our original position and will be putting this matter to a closeThank you

[redacted] and [redacted] employed our services on 09/and 09/of We loaded their rental truck and then unloaded it a few days laterWe did go over the contract with them, they elected to not take the full value coverage which leaves them the standard coverage (.60/lb per article)I did attach both copies of their work order and contract, both signed by said partyIn this business, sometimes accidents do happen which is why we offer the full coverage however, [redacted] and [redacted] did elect not purchase that coverageLow Budget Movers did send out a check for $to help cover the cost of the repairs to the fridge which alleviates any other responsibility on our part according to our contractWe feel this brings this matter to a close

I have witnesses that can verify that at no given time was I still packing I have a lease to prove I never lived in a story condo They where very lazy and unprofessionalThey stood around looking and playing loud rap music in the parking lot I never stated that I was going to the bank nor did I tell them I was on my way I stated when I called that I had to go pick up children from day-care and a person from work who's car I was then in Yes I ended up stranded due to the late arrival that I could have avoided and I will be filing a formal police report re-entering my home and stealing my television

The move in question occurred on 9/21/ The documents submitted are from an earlier move on 9/19/ The issue here is that we were NOT informed of our insurance options and the signed copy from the move on 9/19/has the DECLINE area highlighted by the moving company This clearly indicates that they do not want you to purchase additional insurance coverage There was simply a verbal statement by the movers that we need to hurry and sign the "OK" to get started moving The options for coverage really should be explained more clearly to the consumer and we feel it is a sneaky business practice that the company employs to avoid having to pay for damages I would still like to see the paperwork that was signed on the date when damages occurred which is 9/21/

We did perform *** ***'s move on 07/18/16, and yes we did end up giving her a discount due to the length of the jobAs we had explained to *** over the phone, the truck did come back empty that day as we do check all of our trucks dailyWe also searched all over our warehouse
just to make sure and still found nothingThe possibility of her box that she is claiming being stolen off the truck is very unlikely as we have never had that happen on any given dayLow Budget Movers has no problem fixing any mistakes on our part but this is a different matter because we have no idea if we even had her claimed box on our truck and no company out there is just going to pay out a replacement without any proof it was even in our possessionI have attached a copy of our contract that was signed by *** noting that we are not responsible for any lost articles that was not packed by our company

As of Yesterday, 5/6/we have completely satisfied all complaints against Low Budget Movers and met all requirements that Mrs*** asked for per her complaint with the Revdex.com Please see attached file which we created a document indicating once a payment of $was received then both ***
*** and Low Budget Movers would both be satisfied

In the case of this matter with Mr***His Company paid for the move totaling The items in question were damaged at time of arrival most of the furniture in the home had damages on them for that matterAfter storing the items that Mr*** had in our warehouse for a while we
did have to take all other storage out of the building because bed bugs were present in his belongingsAfter the belongings were reloaded we had to have the entire warehouse treated for bugsI contacted the property manager from the house he rented in Phoenix (that we picked up from and they were having similar problems)Also on delivery, I requested a 2-week notice on delivery and didn't receive thati have a running schedule and have to plan ahead to deliver a load that is hundreds of miles awayi nor any other moving company can deliver a house of furniture out of state with no noticeThis has been a bad experience and lesson learned for us as it has costed us thousands and we now have new protocols in place for things like thisPlease let me know what is needed and I will shortly provide on as needed basisThank you*** ***

I have taken all information to my insurance agency ([redacted]) ([redacted]) (###-###-####) to submit a claim for the problem. Again I assume no responsibility for any damages that are on furniture as they are pre-existing to the move. Also any infestation to the furniture was previous to the move as it came in the warehouse with the furniture. But in good faith I will submit as claim the insurance company as requested by the customer on my General liability and Cargo insurance Policy. I will also reply back with all documents and claim number once I receive the information. This should take no longer than 24 hour. This is all I will do for the customer. Again I assume no responsibility and this will be the final effort to satisfy the problem. I will also not seek any legal course of action for the problems and costs occurred from bringing the (infested) belongings into my warehouse. Thank you for your time. I will reply soon with claim number and associated documents.Thank You,[redacted]

On 10/07/16 we were scheduled to move [redacted] with an arrival between 11am-2pm. Unfortunately the first job our crew had that day took a bit longer than was planned which put them at Ms. [redacted]'s @ 2:45pm. It took them close to 3 hrs to get all loaded up due to a couple of things,...

they were moving her out of a 3 story condo, she was still packing as we were moving her and she had almost 2/3 of a truck. I received a call from Ms. [redacted] when the guys got done loading and she was complaining about how much longer this move was taking versus the last time we were out there. When I talked to Kenneth, he explained everything to me as I am explaining now. I then told him to go ahead and give her a 10% discount as a courtesy to her when everything is done. When the crew arrived at her new place they waited an additional 30 minutes before she even arrived..Ms. [redacted] gave my lead guy $190.00 of the bill and told them that she had to run to the bank to get more money out while they unloaded. Ms. [redacted] was still not back by the time my crew was finished with the unload and every time they called her she told them she was almost there but another hour went by until she told them she was stranded with her kids and would not be able to make it back there. I then told my crew to lock up, take possession of her 32 in TV as it states in our contract and head back to our warehouse and would have to take care of this thought the courts. The move took a total time of 5 hrs with an additional hour of just waiting for her to come back. The total bill was $513.00 after her discount, Ms. [redacted] has paid $190.00 of her bill so far which leaves a balance $323.00. If Ms. [redacted] takes care for her bill by Monday, October 17th we will deduct the hour the guys had to wait for her. If she fails to do so we will have to take this matter up with courts which will incur more fees and costs to her balance owing.

[redacted] and [redacted] employed our services on 09/19 and 09/21 of 2016. We loaded their rental truck and then unloaded it a few days later. We did go over the contract with them, they elected to not take the full value coverage which leaves them the standard coverage (.60/lb per article). I did...

attach both copies of their work order and contract, both signed by said party. In this business, sometimes accidents do happen which is why we offer the full coverage however, [redacted] and [redacted] did elect not purchase that coverage. Low Budget Movers did send out a check for $180.00 to help cover the cost of the repairs to the fridge which alleviates any other responsibility on our part according to our contract. We feel this brings this matter to a close.
