Low Cost Cars

I am refusing Low Cost Cars actions because, first of all the seller (Eric S[redacted]) did not mention any of the [redacted] recalls and I did not know about the recalls.Eric said there were minor repairs that needed done as far as 2 new front tires and an alignment, plus a new windshield, that is why they are able to sell there cars so cheap to customers, Why is Low Cost Cars allowed to resell the trucks knowingly that they have bad frames and are unsafe to drive, and when I took The 2003 [redacted] back to low cost cars and showed Brian the manager where the back spring weld rotted off the frame he said he would help replace the spring and my husband told him the frame was shot and Brian said no its not and I know a couple of shops that can fix it, I will call you guys in a couple of days. Brian never attempted to call us back so when my husband called him back he said there was nothing he could do for us. I called the [redacted] Corporation and they will not fix the problem because of the expiration. and took it to local [redacted] shop in [redacted] and they also said the recall has expired they could not do anything.  Low Cost Cars knowingly sold me a truck with a bad frame they need to replace the entire truck, knowing I can never resell or repair it, so now I'm stuck with this truck scared to drive its so unsafe, and owe 15,000.00 Car dealers should not be able to do this to customers.

Please excuse my late reply. I had not seen the email to respond to this complaint until the Revdex.com contacted me by phone. In regards to the complaint, it is widely known that [redacted] produced an awful frame from 1995-present day. In fact if you google "[redacted] Frame Recall" you will notice there...

has been 3 separate recalls regarding Tacoma frames alone. Affecting Tacoma's from 1995-2008. This is a defect on [redacted]'s part. Unfortunately this recall has expired. How the government allows any recall to expire is beyond me but with that said I have seen several cases documented where [redacted] has honored the recall even after the expiration date, which in this case would have been 2015-2016. I would strongly urge the consumer to reach out to several [redacted] dealerships in hope that this could be resolved. I am not equipped to replace a frame and very few repair facilities are. On top of that, finding a used frame would be very difficult because unfortunately, they are all rusted out. [redacted] made them that way.

I CANNOT FIND A SHOP TO FIX A FRAME DO TO LIABILITY REASONS.  I APPRECIATE THAT YOU ARE WILLING TO COVER SOME OF THE EXPENCE, BUT MY INTENSIONS ON BUYING THE TRUCK FOR WORK PURPOSES  FROM [redacted] TO [redacted] WAS SO I COULD HAVE A 4 WHEEL DRIVE FOR WINTER, AND I DID NOT EXPECT TO HAVE 15,000 PLUS IN A TRUCK AND NOW HAVE TO PAY FOR A LARGE JOB, THE FRAME,  WHEN YOU GUYS TOLD ME THERE WERE MINOR REPAIRS NEEDED DONE SUCH AS TIRES, WINDSHIELD, AND TURN SIGNAL PLUS AN OIL CHANGE. YOU SAID YOU WOULD HELP PAY FOR THE REAR SPRING WHICH IS NOT THE PROBLEM THERE IS NOTHING TO WELD THE SPRING ONTO. Regards,[redacted]

I previously submitted a dispute with the Revdex.com about Low cost Cars in Circleville ohio. Since then the situation has gotten extremely out of hand. The 3rd party lender backed out of financing them due to their shady practices so now the owner of Low Cost Cars says he will not sell us the car or take our payments. He wants the car back and is going to still keep the contract to hurt my credit and insure that he gets his money for the car. A car that broke down the same day I bought it. This has been nothing but a nightmare. The owner has spued hate at my husband and I and even threatened to beat my husband up. They need to be put out of business. This is all BEYOND illegal. .
