Review: After placing an online order, all attempts to reach the business by phone were unsuccessful. I was calling to cancel the order. I then emailed the business for information about the order. They responded with information but tracking was unavailable. I then asked that my order be cancelled. I informed them that I had issued a credit card dispute over this transaction. This prompted a phone call to me from a different phone number than the one available on their website lowmileageparts.com. Tom was very unprofessional even after informing me that he was trying to be courteous. He now says that the item was shipped even though earlier in the day, there was no tracking info available. He stated that I will be responsible for shipping. Website states free shipping. He was not cooperative and said he would just wait for the credit card company to work it out.Desired Settlement: A full refund of the purchase price of $824.99.

Response:

We have a 24 hour period to cancel an order, this customer was trying to cancel an order which had already shipped. The tape of the phone conversation was recorded and reviewed it can be provided to the Revdex.com if necessary. The representative she had spoken to is the floor manager and called her from his private desk, he explained the situation that since the part had already shipped once it arrives the customer may return it for a partial refund. As stated on our website we provide free shipping to a commercial address. We do not however cover return shipping. As quoted on our website "You may return all unchanged and original items purchased at LowMileageParts.com within 30 days of the original delivery subject to a 20% restocking and handling fee." The customer states she attempted to call and received no response. We have reason to believe this is untrue, we checked our phone log data base which shows all incoming, on going, and dropped calls, no such number called us, in fact no other number with the same area code rang in that day. Once our rep saw the customer stated they could not reach us by phone he reached out to her via phone. The customer was very irate and was not willing to cooperate or even listen to the rep explaining protocol. We explained that she attempted to cancel the order after it has shipped. The tracking number was not uploaded to the system but did infact leave our facility once we have the part back we will be issuing a refund less the shipping back as well as less the 20% restocking fee.

Response:

The information provided by the business is not true. The rep that called didn't even ask whatnumber I was calling from earlier. He immediately began his tirade about his phone system. If the phone had been answered timely, the order would have been cancelled per guidelines . As of this morning, my account on their website still says "waiting toship. With no tracking info, I assume it has not shipped. He was a very unpleasant individual who displayed no skills on customerservice. He told me that the credit card companies could fight it out. This was my problem to handle. Please process a full refund and cancel this order.

Response:

The customer was refunded in full 3 business days after placing the order. I'm unsure why the responses provided seem to ignore this, and imply that we are somehow holding her order, or money. I assume to take out her frustration on us. I am not the original person that dealt with this, but am fully aware of the situation. Our website clearly states that you have 24 hours to cancel your order, and this did not occur. We do not receive tracking information immediately on LTL freight shipments, therefore were unable to provide the customer that information immediately. As in any situation, the story provided is one sided, as I have listened to the calls placed to us. The customer was extremely aggressive and was unwilling to accept any answer that was not the cancellation of her order, and return shipment occuring at our expense. On our end this has been done and settled for weeks, if you would like more information regarding the refund, I am happy to forward anything you need.

Review: I ordered a used engine. There were problems with the engine. When I began to lodge a complaint with the engine they stated reasons for not honoring the return policy that were not stated on the website nor in the original warranty/return policy. When I mentioned wanting an RMA to return the engine, they stopped contacting me. I can only think that they stopped contacting me hoping to wait until the initial 30 days had passed so that they would not have to honor the first 30 day money back guarantee.Desired Settlement: I want a complete refund of my money as they sent a defective engine. I have had three different mechanics from 3 different businesses look at the engine and each one said that the engine is not what they reported it to be. They said it was an engine with 88,000 miles on it, each mechanic said this engine is much older than that and has major mechanical problems that show it's advanced miles and age.

Review: Ordered an engine from them which they said was in stock and would be shipped the next day. It did not ship for about ten days and then when it arrived it was damaged, upside down, and unusable. Have tried to contact them to return for a refund or replacement but they will not answer the phone or they answer and hang up or put us on hold indefinitely if we do get a person to answer. This Revdex.com listing says they are no longer in business but the website is active, they accepted the order and eventually shipped something so they are in business somewhere but I do not know where exactly since I found them via their website and ordered over the phone.Desired Settlement: The engine was damaged (either during or before shipping) and they need to replace it or refund my money.

Review: This company is STILL in business! They changed the name from A-1 Parts Depot to Low mileage auto parts. Talked to a customer service agent who found my purchase in the computer,.

On March 15, 2011, I purchased an E4OD automatic transmission for $1,500 with a 5 year warranty! Called a month or so after I go it to let them know it had a bad convertor. They said they would ship a different one. Never received. Two weeks later, paid $300 for a new one.

Recently, the reverse and low clutch has gone out and it needs rebuilt/replaced. I called Low mileage parts and let them know I needed a replacement. I gave the guy my order number and he stated it was NOT in their computer. So he looked up my name and found it. He then came back to state that I had paid $1500 for a 6month warranty. ALL engines and transmissions came with a 5 year warranty (thus the MUCH higher price). A complete rebuild is a little over $1000. 5 years was piece of mind!

They have since refused my replacement. I have contacted an attorney and will be driving to NJ for the court hearings if this matter can not be resolved.Desired Settlement: I am out the $300 for the convertor and the $1,500 5 year warranty.

Review: I buy back on 08/04/2014 a 1990 ford e150 5.8 lt Engine , the sold a BAD ENGINE ASSEMBLY has a bad engine head gasket what oveheat, the engine this was finish installed on 10/19/2014 due to the vehicle owner didnt have mone to pay for installation. In that date we test the engine and we notices the engine was overheating, we contact lowmileagesparts.com and we talk to STEVE who is the Accounting and also hand all concerns about warrantees, and he give as the option to fix the same engine or give as another one. they ask how much cost to repair the engine and we tell him $600.00 and he agree at that time, also request invoce about that repair, and we send to him but fax also request the original installation invoice in order to see if we did the right process to install the engine. We send to hin installation invoice with detail how the installation and parts has been replace to the use engine they send to as, after that he wont to pay the $600.00 and said he will send a replacement. At this time no tracking # has been issue for as and they wont take any phone call from me. We already talk to the our bank here in michigan to file a claim to get money back and we are willing to give him back his engine but with his own expences need to take this engine back to him.Desired Settlement: We wanna full money refund of this bad purchase back to my bank account, and not to deal with this company due to the bad bussines they are doing. We dont trust any more in any product from them we have in fact advise by MICHIGAN Revdex.com this company,is going out of bussines soon.
