Luxury Nails

Complaint[redacted]Feb. 14th took my wife to get her gel nails filled. the guy doing her nails ground her nails down really far and the nails he put on started falling off just over a week after. [redacted]. I sent my wife to a local lady to get them fixed and the lady told my wife that Luxury Nails butchered them. They showed no caare or attention to the nails. I called Luxury nails and they told me to come back to get them fixed, I told Luxury Nails that I was too far away and seeing there previous work I dont think my wife would want to go back. We're been in business for 9 years... every customer walk out after nails get done is a yes ....We're thinking mabe your wife mixed up else where nail salon with luxury nails?Cause we used only sand band not metdle head...so it't can't be go down far[redacted]

Review: I had gone into Luxury Nails for a fill and the employee insisted that I needed a whole new set. I have been getting my nails done for years and know the correct procedure to remove nails ( which isn't even the service I requested). He removed my nails by cutting the edges and prying the nails off with a new tip ( the nails should have been soaked off). He stated that he removed the nails in the way that he did to "save time". When he clipped my thumb nail he cut through the acrylic and my real nail which caused me to bleed and caused me extreme pain. He wanted to fix his mistake by glueing my nail back together and putting acrylic over it which could have causes a serious infection. I told him that he would not glue it and I wanted him to finish the rest so that I could leave. He continued to cause pain by removing the rest of the nails in the same way. He stated that he was going to do a quick 30 minute job since he knew I wouldn't be returning. At the end of the service he expected me to pay an unreasonable amount of money for the "service" he provided. I requested a discount and he instantly became irate. He yelled that I was trying to rip him off and told me he would "get his money one way or another" and blocked the door of the salon with his body. He caused a scene by yelling profanities and demanding money. I asked him several times to calm down. There were many customs watching all of this happen and they sat there in shock as he continued yelling profanities. I paid the full amount so that I could leave for my safety. A police report was filed about the threatening comments and for holding me against my will.Desired Settlement: Refund of [redacted] which is the entire amount of the service or at least a[redacted] discount for the pain and incompletion of the service. I left with 9 nails completed and 1 wrapped in a bandage.
