No answer. On 11/21/2015, a phone call was placed by *** *** to LW Automotive in ***? Call was answered by Ralph F*? Ralph expressed disbelief this had not been resolved and stated he would look into it and get back with me.On 11/21/2015, a text message reply was received from Jeff F*'s cell phone stating he "just ordered headlights with matching part numbers." ? On 12/21/2015, a text message reply received from Jeff F*'s cell phone "Here's the tracking number *** for the headlights"? The tracking number was for a package that was never sent? This clearly states he was shipping the headlights? This is not simply a failure to deliver on his word, but a blatant deception, a lie.Failure #to keep his word.On 12/28/2015, a text message was sent by *** *** to Jeff F*'s cell phone notifying the complete dissatisfaction of the way he's handled this matter? Notification was also provided that I would be filing a complaint with the PA State Board of Vehicle Manufacturers, Dealers and Salespersons. On 12/28/2015, pictures of headlights in a box, taken at a distance, were sent asking me to "take a look at them and make sure they look good"? "Looking good" does not mean they are the correct headlight? "Looking good" does not mean they are 100% functional? The pictures provide no indication of part number, nor do they indicate function.Over the course of three months, I have have been the one hunting down the status from Jeff F*? LW Automotive has failed to respond proactively to this matter? LW Automotive has told me on separate occasions that something was happening and updates would be provided and failed in each of those occasions? While I have never run a car dealership, I don't believe this practice that has been allowed is an ethical or professional way to do business? To go through this level of difficulty trying to resolve a simple item is unacceptable? It shows a complete failure to supervise salespersons and practice ethical business? Mr F* needs to quit making excuses? Mr F* needs to send the correct, functioning, Audi Factory headlights as promised? Mr F* needs to provide assurances and a guarantee this will be done to my satisfaction and in a timely manner, which is not more than days from the acceptance of this resolution? Should Mr F* fail to meet this, financial remuneration is to be provided to me so I may take steps to secure the correct, factory Audi headlights from a local Audi dealership since he will have failed to meet the contractual obligation of the sales contract

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.? For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below:I deny the business's reply on every account as stated in their response on the following reasons.Firstly, any business that can afford to repair a vehicle at no cost to the vehicle owner is a practice of poor business managementIn conjunction with the first statement, the Maserati Quattroporte was sold "AS IS", leading to believe that any attempt to repair the vehicle is the owner's responsibility.Secondly, the business offering to consign the vehicle, to sell to another person, may have been a viable attempt had the engine not need detrimental repairs to the engine compartment.Lastly, trading in the vehicle for a new one IS NOT possible due to the negative $13,equity between the payoff balance and what the vehicle is actually worth. The last option was the furthest option as being possible due to the reason above, as well as the unfavorable outcome that has happened to the car, and not wanting to purchase another vehicle from the business

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]
Regards,
[redacted]     I received your letter with the response from the business against which I filed my complaint (L W Automotive). I am rejecting their response.      I purchased the car from them on March 19.  I had the closing and moved to my new residence on May 10.  This was 52 days after I purchased the car.  They were required to sent the paperwork to PennDOT within 20 days.  The fact that I moved had nothing to do with them keeping my money and paperwork this long.  I had even been stopped by the police because the car was still not registered to me.  I called L W Automotive several times about the paperwork and they still did not get the paperwork delivered.. When I moved in May, I sent L W Automotive a copy of my deed to prove the Township and County of my new residence  ([redacted] County) as proof for the State so there would not be any tax or emissions issues on my new car.  They told me they sent that in but it was not true.     When they sent it, they did not send enough money and did not fill in the County of Residence so the papers were rejected.L W Automotive did not deliver my paperwork to PennDOT until JUNE 7and it still was not correct.  As of this date, June 13, I still do not have my Title.  I received my registration on Saturday (June 11), and it is incorrect.  It does not have the correct County listed. As a result, I would be required to have my car comply with emissions standards for [redacted] County, which is more expensive.  I live in [redacted] Township, [redacted] County.  So I was required to call PennDOT, download a form, and sent in my own paperwork to prove my County of Residence.     My temporary paperwork which was issued to me when I purchased the car is only valid for 90 days, which is less than a week from today.  I have had the police, my insurance agent, my State Representative, and PennDOT involved in helping me with this issue.  They have all told me that it is illegal for L W Automotive to keep my money and paperwork this long.  After the 90 days, I am not allowed to drive the car.       When L W Automotive received a copy of the complaint I filed with the Revdex.com, I received a phone call from the owner (Lorne) saying that he did not like the route I had taken in filing the complaint.  Yet, they were not doing anything to process my papers until I filed the complaint.       Many times when I called, they would not take my calls, would have someone say the owner was not available, or would promise to call me back and never did.     For these reasons, I am rejecting the company's response to my complaint.          Thank you for your help with this matter.             [redacted]

7/07/2017Dear Ms. [redacted] We are responding to complaint [redacted]LW Automotive LLC sent Miss [redacted]’s deal in with in the 20 day time frame. The deal was delayed because we put a hold on it to stop it from being processed. This was done because Miss [redacted] notified us she was moving. If we didn't put a hold on it her paperwork would be lost and we would be in a lot worse shape. The state allows 90 days for the paperwork to be processed for this reason. Sometimes deals get held up for a number of reasons. It is out of our control; however we went above and beyond to get it processed correctly. Miss [redacted] had valid Pennsylvania registration while she was waiting for the permanent registration and title to come to her. She was not driving her vehicle illegally. LW Automotive LLC did not short the check to the state. We sent in $964.87 the exact amount needed to get her car registered. The reason why the state said it was short was because they were processing it under [redacted] County. [redacted] County is 7 percent. [redacted] county [redacted] Township is 6 percent 6 percent is what we collected. Miss [redacted]’s county is on the boarder of [redacted] county and [redacted] county. Therefore the state tried to collect 7 percent. This is why they said it was short. Once we sent the deed to her property this was no longer an issue. LW Automotive did not register her vehicle in the wrong county. The state of Pennsylvania did register the vehicle with the 6% tax money that we sent in. If the vehicle was registered in [redacted] County the slate of Pennsylvania would have not processed the deal because there was not enough money sent because in [redacted] County the sales tax is 7%. If for any reason Miss [redacted]’s registration to her vehicle is in the wrong county this is because of an error the state of Pennsylvania made. When we sent in Miss [redacted]’s paperwork we clearly listed on her MV-4ST (her temporary registration) the county code for [redacted] County. As of today Miss [redacted]'s paperwork has been processed and everything has been handled. If she still has any questions or concerns she can contact me directly at [redacted].Sincerely,Lome F[redacted]President

Dear Ms. [redacted]:We are responding to compliant number: [redacted].LW Automotive has gone above and beyond to make sure Miss [redacted]’s paperwork has been processed. The paperwork has been processed and the vehicle she purchased from us is registered in her name. We provided the state with Miss [redacted]'s deed showing proof of what county she is in. The state made the error and did not register the vehicle in the correct county. Since we received this notice we called Piada, our messenger service and asked how to change the county. We have the document needed for her to change the vehicle to the correct county. We contacted Miss [redacted] to help her correct the issue. We have not heard back from her as of today. We feel this matter should be closed at this point Miss [redacted] should now realize we are here to help her in any way. This entire situation is out of our control and we have handled every step to get the issue corrected efficiently. If Miss [redacted] has any questions or concerns please have her contact me directly on my cell phone at [redacted], she can also email me at [redacted].Sincerely,Lorne F[redacted]President LW Automotive LLC

Review: I purchased a car from LW Automotive on March 19, 2016. The business had 20 days to file my paperwork with the Pennsylvania Department of Motor Vehicles. That date would have been April 8, 2016. As of this date, May 24, 2016, they still have not filed the paperwork so I still do not have the title to my car. I have called them numerous times and they have provided no satisfactory reason for this. First they said it may have been filed and gotten lost in the mail. Then they stated that they use a messenger service and don't send things through the mail. When I speak to Ralph F[redacted] , he is very rude to me and makes up excuses. He has promised me every time that he will look into the matter with their messenger service and will call me back by the end of the day. He has never called me back. I spoke to the other owner, Lorne F[redacted], one day, and he was polite but did not get the issue resolved. So much time has gone by that I have moved and had to provide a new address with the DMV so that would not interfere with the delivery of my title. ( But the car was purchased almost 2 months before I moved so I never thought it would be an issue.) I have called the DMV many times and they have told me that they still do not have my paperwork and that if it were filed, they would have received a check for my purchase and that there would be an ID number on the canceled check. They advised me to get this number from LW Automotive to prove they actually filed my paperwork. When I asked Ralph F[redacted] to give me this ID number, he yelled at me and said the messenger service would never give that number out. I have even been stopped by the police because my license plate is still registered to the car I traded in on the one I purchased from LW Automotive and the title is still registered to LW Automotive. I don't know if there is a problem with the title itself which they are not telling me, if they are just keeping my $16,000 and not transferring the title, or if they have a messenger service which is not doing its job properly. But I paid a lot of money for a car 66 days ago and this business is clearly in violation of sending in my paperwork within 20 days. I feel that this matter needs to be resolved immediately.Desired Settlement: LW Automotive either needs to get me the title to my car or refund my money immediately so I can purchase a car from someone who will get me my title in the required period of time.

LW Automotive LLC[redacted]Phone: [redacted]Fax: [redacted]Revdex.com of Western PA[redacted]Dear Ms. [redacted]:We are responding to compliant number: [redacted].Miss [redacted] will have her title and registration within 7 business days of today. We apologize the paperwork was not processed in a timely fashion. The reason the vehicle was not put in Miss [redacted]'s name sooner is because she moved and Penn Dot will not forward any paperwork to a new address. Luckily we deal with a separate branch of Penn Dot called PIADA. If the deal would have been sent directly to Penn Dot the title would have been sent to Miss [redacted]’s old address and therefore would have been lost in the mail. We were able to call PIADA and make them aware of the address change and have this corrected. The other issue was that Miss [redacted]’s new address is in [redacted], Pennsylvania. The issue with this is she lives in [redacted] county however when the state of Pennsylvania decodes the zip code it shows [redacted] county and there is a 1% sales tax difference between the counties. In order to have this reconciled Miss [redacted] had to send us proof that she was in fact in [redacted] County. Because of those two issues the process to have Miss [redacted]'s title work processed took longer. We did explain to Miss [redacted] that the MV-4ST she was issued from us at the time of purchase is valid for 90 days from the purchase date. We have done everything in our power to have Miss [redacted]’s title work processed as quickly as possible and apologize for any delay.Sincerely, Lorne F[redacted]President LW Automotive LLC

Regards,

[redacted] I reject the response made by the business mostly for the reasons I have already stated. They did not try to resolve my issue until I contacted the Revdex.com. Also, They did not contact me about providing me with a document to correct the county listed on my registration. I contacted the state to take care of this on my own. I still do not have the corrected registration but I finally received the title. I thank the Revdex.com for your intervention with my issues with this business. I appreciate your assistance.

Review: While looking for a new vehicle, I stopped at LW Automotive in Wexford, PA. The dealership doesn't not seem to have any structure of knowledge about how to run a business, even the selling paperwork that they most likely fill out daily. They urged me to fill out the paperwork and get the loan approval 3 days before I was even able to come back to pick up the vehicle, so they would "get paid quicker for the sale". The next issue deals with them promising a second key from the time I test drove the vehicle. They still have not located the spare key after 30+ days. I informed them I'm going out of town and need the spare asap or I will be left with the option to get one at a dealership and send them the bill, which he responded by saying "well we just won't pay that bill". The third and most important issue deals with the trade in payoff. They first lost the payoff information, which lead to late fees on my account, then as of 30+ days, my financial institution is calling me because the vehicle has yet to be paid off. I signed off of that vehicle over 30 days ago. When calling to discuss this huge matter that is now going against my credit, the man on the phone told me "if I didn't satisfy your problems with the call I don't know what to tell you". I'm disgusted with this dealership beyond belief.Desired Settlement: I want the spare key that was promised to me asap, and also compensated for my fuel, time, and effort with traveling to the banks and also spending hours on the phone with them trying to resolve this issue that shouldn't be my problem.

Review: Bought a 2009 BMW 335 from LW Automotive, Wexford, PA. Trading my 2008 Saab 9-5. 1/31/14. Vehicle was purchased at night due to drive from my house at the time in Cleveland, OH next day in the morning noticed vehicle had hail damage covering entire surface of vehicle. Notified Mr. [redacted] dealer owner father who didn't really have an answer advised me he would notify his son [redacted] dealer GM/owner. Neither one replied my call or my voice mails left. A month a half later I was called by Wells Fargo Dealer Services advising me that LW has not paid my vehicle or contacted them about purchasing my trade in. Took me numerous calls to get LW to pay it off. Which dropped my credit score never being late on a car payment up to that except once. In the mean while Wells Fargo calling me on a daily basis for that duration. Two month later the BMW brakes down with a $900 plus repair didn't bother calling them figuring they will not do anything about any ways. Recently LW Automotive contacted me about the Saab title which they advised have sold already and need me to sign a release of title on the vehicle? I regret buying a vehicle from LW and not sure how they are conducting business but it is obvious to me that they are not following ethical or moral codes in their dealings and mainly I don't want them to do what they did with me to other people. Also I feel that they should cover at least the hail damage repairs needed and mechanical repairs to the vehicle since both occurred/noticed within the 90 day period since buying the BMW. If Revdex.com is not going to resolve issue will consult with a lawyer. They did have me sign AS IS paper at the time which I hesitated to sign but did sign with them swearing they only sell the best products and it is a family owned business and would not sell me a car they wouldn't buy themselves.Desired Settlement: Mechanical repairs to vehicle $900 plus approx. have repair bill.Hail damage to vehicle estimated value over $3000 in body repairs have estimate from body shop.

Review: On October 12, 2015, I found a vehicle I was interested in purchasing at LW Automotive and spoke with sales rep Jeff F[redacted]. We exchanged emails and phone calls narrowing down the condition and possible issues with the car. After several discussions I placed a deposit on the car and asked to have it mechanically inspected, at my expense, by a local Audi dealer. Of the three things identified by the dealer, one was agreed upon to be addressed. The headlights were to be replaced as there was excessive condensation inside the lamps. I was told they would be able to quickly switch out the headlights with another vehicle they had on the lot and I would be able to pick up the vehicle as expected the following day, October 16, 2015. I flew from Colorado to Pennsylvania and arrived at the dealership to learn the headlights were not yet replaced. They made several attempts but could not get the car to recognize the new lights without causing error codes. After 6 hours, I was promised on the sales contract, that they would ship the replacement headlights to me so I could begin my 1500 mile drive home. After repeated attempts and failed promises, it has been nearly three months and I have not received the replacement headlights. The dealership has not responded in a professional manner. The dealership has failed to meet the contractual obligations of the sales contract. I have been lied to numerous times regarding the shipment of the replacement lights.Desired Settlement: The only acceptable resolve is for LW Automotive to honor the sales contract and provide the correct, Audi factory headlamps as promised.

Review: We bought a 2006 Nissan Titan from LW Automotive in [redacted], Pa on Decmeber 26, 2015. We bought an aftermarket warranty. The day after purchase the check engine light came on. The truck was taken to [redacted] on February 19, 2016 after numerous issues with the vehicle kept occurring. Some major issues on the truck were shot lower and upper control arms, shot sway bar links, bad left front hub, and both exhaust manifolds were cracked. Those were cover under the warranty. We also learned that they were no emergency brake components on the truck. The warranty company would not cover that. We called LW to find out who inspected the truck and why the truck was missing the legal components. Jeffrey from LW stated that whoever the previous owner was who put the 6 inch lift on the truck might have taken the emergency brake components off and that they received the truck at their establishment already inspected. Jeffrey also stated that a safety inspection was completed on the truck before it was put on the lot for sale. When asked what mechanic or technician from LW looked at the truck he told us he would call us back 6 weeks ago. We now have a major wiring issue with the truck that throws engine codes, ABS, and brake lights along with the truck not idling correctly, that the warranty company will not cover. The warranty company paid $7,200 to fix the truck and we have personally paid $1,292 out of pocket. With the wiring issues we were told by [redacted] that it would cost us up to $4,000 out of pocket. The price of the emergency brake components came out to be $500. State police have been contacted about the inspection of the truck.Desired Settlement: We are planning to sue LW Automotive for the price of the truck ($18,400), the down payment we paid in cash ($5500), and $561 we had to pay [redacted] out of pocket.

LW Automotive LLC[redacted], [redacted]Phone: [redacted]Fax: [redacted]Revdex.com of Western PA[redacted]Dear Ms. [redacted]:We are responding to compliant number: [redacted].The aforementioned vehicle was sold on December 26h, 2015 to [redacted] and [redacted] with aftermarket parts. This vehicle was sold as-is through LW Automotive with the purchaser’s assuming liability for the vehicle. Four months have passed since the purchase of the vehicle. The previous owner had a lift put on the vehicle and in doing so had the emergency brake components removed. Both purchaser’s reviewed the vehicle and wanted to proceed with purchase. The vehicle was not PA inspected at LW Automotive facility. We have already extended both buyers a generous discount at the time of purchase on both the vehicle and a warranty so that coverage could be afforded to the buyer’s. LW Automotive has not seen any work order from the purchasers as per our request. As stated by the purchaser’s, the warranty we discounted for the customer’s covered the majority of his “claimed” services. LW Automotive is unable to extend any further gifts to the purchaser’s without a review of the vehicle or documentation of services rendered. We pride ourselves on customer service and working with our customers, however the customer has to be willing to work with us. We look forward to resolving this issue amicably with the purchaser’s.Sincerely, Lorne F[redacted]President LW Automotive LLC
