Poor all around service
I purchased the Materials QuikStik™ for Smooth Walls- 6'8" X 8'. First problem was I paid an extra $49 for the 2 day ship. I ordered it on 9/9 and expected it on 9/11- sounds logical, but MM insisted that they would ship it two days once the panels were ready-there was no indication at all that 2 day shipping meant after whenever they were ready. I eventually got the $49 refunded.
Second problem was that the panels didn't match up when we put them up. I contacted MM and I was told that I had to overlap the panel to make them fit. This wasn't the first time we put up murals or wallpaper- nobody ever expects it to look good when it overlaps- just plain dumb. Besides, the Quick Stick is a lot like vinyl, so the overlapping would have shown an elevated, noticeable crease. This was the response I received from MM:

I am sorry that you are not happy with the mural!
The mural is exactly as it is supposed to be. In the instructions on page 3, Step 6, it states that "All multi-panel murals include a 3/4" overlap between panels which is accounted for in your overall ordered dimensions. Be sure to line up the next panel with the previously installed panel allowing an overlap of approximately 3/4"." This is the reason behind the duplicated image on the second panel, to help with the alignment. Since you purchased our QuikStik for Smooth walls, which is removable and reusable, you can remove the second panel and realign it to install it properly and you should be all set. I have attached a copy of our installation instructions for your review. WHY DIDN'T MM ADVISE OF THE 3/4 INCH OVERLAP AND WHY WOULD THEY SELL SUCH AN UGLY PRODUCT TO UNSUSPECTING CUSTOMERS? IT SHOULD NEVER BE AN OPTION TO BEGIN WITH.

As far as the material, we only have 2 materials that are a peel and stick material. The other one is our QuikStik Plus which is a coated woven fabric. If you would like, I can send you a material swatch of the QuikStik Plus for you to test out. If the application of the mural does not matter, I would suggest that you purchase one of our Material Swatch Kits to help you better choose a material that you would like. ALL THE BASIC INSTRUCTIONAL INFORMATION THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN OPON MAKING THE ORDER COMES AFTER CUSTOMER MESS IT UP- WHEN SOMEONE PUTS IN AN ORDER, THE CAUTIONS SHOULD COME BACK IMMEDIATELY IN AN EMAIL OR A CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE CALL. I HAVE DEALT WITH MANY COMPANIES THAT PERFORM THOSE SERVICES AND MY EXPERIENCE HAS ALWAYS BEEN FLAWLESS.

A remodel of every room in our house brought us to add a new touch to our bedroom design. The Magic Mural design is just what the room needed to make it a unique and cozy room. This is our second mural purchased . The first was one for our Den and everyone would compliment it. This was a 4x6 foot Quikstik and went up easily with little assistance. My wife is now thinking of a third one .

Adhesive wall mural showed mars and creases after application.I purchased a three by five foot custom photo wall mural from Magic Murals in December 2015 for the price of $94. The product arrived several days thereafter accompanied by simple instructions. After applying the wall mural a multitude of mars and creases in the poster became visible, rendering the product an instant eyesore. An email regarding my complaint was replied to by Magic Murals with an email about the high quality of the inks and papers used in their production.Desired SettlementI'd love a refund, but mostly just want to bring the shoddiness of this product to public notice.Business Response Hi,This is very our first "Revdex.com complaint" in the company's 6 year history which I think speaks to the level of service and quality of the mural products we strive to provide our valued customers. We like to know whenever we make a mistake, so we can correct the issue to the customer's satisfaction. We are always proactive in this regard as evidenced by the below correspondence with the customer. We immediately elevated this ticket status to "High Priority". I have attached for your reference.We don't feel we have been given the opportunity to respond accordingly and were stunned to receive a formal complaint to Revdex.com.
