The manufacturer tells me their warranty is for only 6 months, (which I personally think is ridiculous). Their offer was for 50% off the purchase of a new mailbox, plus $20 shipping, plus $175 labor and sales tax, which I didn't think you would find acceptable. I should not have assumed, but I did....

The mailbox was 2 years old when I was made aware of the rusting issue. NO mailbox manufacturer in the country offers more than a 1 year warranty. I did not manufacturer the mailbox and never implied or offered any sort of a warranty to you. I sure hope you can find someone who will replace it for free when it rusts again and were at least able to reuse the fiberglass cover! Regards, Barb [redacted]

Due to my own health issues, and 2 of my family members that I help, I was unable to follow up with customers, and for that I am very sorry. I had to choose to take care of my family or my customers, and my family came first. Business had gotten so slow over the past 2 years that I had to gradually...

let all my employees go, so I am all alone here, with no help what-so-ever. Historically November/December/January would be the ideal time to have surgery as they are the slowest months of the entire year. This year I'm receiving so many phone calls that I can't keep up and my voice mailbox fills up daily before I can check them all.  I'm doing the best that I can.Mr. [redacted] chose a different mailbox, a less expensive one, than what was approved for his subdivision. The "hole in the door" is part of the design of it, and nothing is missing. I checked with the manufacturer, there is no fix for it. I had my installer go out and place some duct tape over the "hole" temporarily until something can be figured out for it.Mr. [redacted] has indicated that he was doing a charge back with his credit card company, so I am unsure as what to do next. He was provided the mailbox that he ordered with installation. The mailbox that he saw on display in my showroom had the same "hole" so if it was a concern I sure wish he had spoke up then. I hesitate to do anything for him, as he now has a totally free mailbox and installation. If he cancels the charge back, or mails me a check for the amount of the chargeback I will bend over backwards and even make a custom plate for inside the mailboxes door so his mail will not get wet and have that fix done at no charge.Regards,Barb [redacted]

I'm assuming at this late date, that this customer has already contacted her credit card company and received her credit? If she has not, please let me know and I will once again attempt to do it here from my end. I do have her order, but was not able to find her charge info when I searched through...

my credit card companies database. I set it aside, and did not follow up. I am sincerely sorry.Regards, Barb [redacted]Mahvelous Mailboxes

I placed a new order today. I should have them in my hands in about 5-7 days and can get Marks out the door at that time. I am unclear if Mark is willing to wait, but I will telephone him today to see if he still wants it, or if he has already initiated a charge back with his credit card company.Regards,Barb [redacted]Mahvelous Mailboxes

Your item was mailed on 2/23/2016. Thank you so very much for your patience. Warm Regards, Barb [redacted]

Hi [redacted],I am so sorry! Somehow I totally missed this order. I was out sick for several months, but thought I had caught up. I also moved, twice! My new contact info is [redacted]  and the cell is ###-###-####.I ordered it again, but even as a "rush" order it will take 4-6...

weeks. They don't offer "skips", even if I pay extra. If you don't have it in your hands by April 30th, please contact me again so I can check on it's status in the foundry. Warm Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this partially  resolves my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
As I understand you, the manufacturer is going to send you a fix for a hole in the door of the mailbox that serves to collect snow and water yet the manufacturer says is not defective and you are going to install a permanent fix as soon as it gets warmer, but with no specific time limit in place. I think that April 30 2016 would give you sufficient time and warmth to complete this task. I will till for further action until such time.
Regards,
Roy [redacted]

Regards,
Linda [redacted]How can I have old information when their phone number is on my order confirmation from an order I placed this month! And, what about the email I sent to customer service, and the other to [redacted] which were never answered?

I do not have any paperwork since I purchase the item online.  Never received any email about shipping the item or acknowledging the purchase.  I can send a copy of my bank statement showing that they took my money, if that would help! [redacted]

[redacted] was very patient with me, and for that I am grateful. Due to my own health issues, and 2 of my family members that I help, I was unable to follow up with some of the orders I HAD placed with manufacturers before I was hospitalized. I had to choose to take care of my family or my customers,...

and my family came first. Business had gotten so slow over the past 2 years that I had to gradually let all my employees go, so I am all alone here, with no help what-so-ever. Historically November/December/January would be the ideal time to have surgery as they are the slowest months of the entire year. This year I'm receiving so many phone calls that I can't keep up and my voice mailbox fills up daily before I can check them all.  I need computer access to issue refunds or credits, and I was not able to access where I needed to go to issue a refund for more than a month as I could not climb stairs. In my last correspondence with [redacted] I asked her to contact her credit card company and request a refund, and that I would not dispute it. I assumed she has done that, although I have not yet received any documentation from a credit card company regarding her case.I sincerely apologize for the terrible customer service, and next time if I know I will have an elective surgery I will shut down my website well in advance so these issues don't happen again. My health is returning and I should be back at work full time very soon.Regards,Barb [redacted]Mahvelous Mailboxes

Since a chargeback has not been initiated, when the weather gets warmer, I personally will be out with a more permanent fix for the "hole" that is part of the design of the mailbox and not a manufacturing flaw. Also, please note that the mailbox itself was not $700 but more in the range of $165. With the post, newspaper holder, address numbers and install, the total was approximately $700.I do not have a time frame for this, as I am at the mercy of the manufacturer who offered to provide me with something to solve the water/snow issue. As soon as the part arrives I will be out to make the repair. Regards, Barb [redacted]

I don't know why her decals never arrived. They WERE cut and WERE mailed, twice, by regular US Mail, not trackable, so I can not prove they were mailed or delivered. If I was going to be dishonest, it would sure be for more than $22. I'm fairly certain they were just inadvertently tossed out, or...

stuck within the pages of a magazine and may turn up eventually as the envelope they come in is not very large. I did promise to refund [redacted], on Oct. 6th. I did not yet refund her, as of Oct. 19th, so she is understandably upset and is due $22. This is the mailbox industries busiest season, and I am shorthanded. Since [redacted] stated she already disputed this with Visa, there is no need for me to do anything else except to profusely apologize to [redacted]. [redacted] can have the satisfaction of knowing that Visa will charge me a $20 fee for this dispute, plus the $22.

I contacted my supplier of this product and she tells me she will get it shipped out from IL no later than this weekend, March 20th. She (and I) apologize for this unacceptable delay.Warm Regards, [redacted]
