Ms*** came in to tour an apartment with *** *** on 10/16/15. We received an application from *** not Ms***. Since they applied within hours of viewing the apartment we waived the application fee as that was our currect special. They were both informed
of this as well. I have attached the application pages that *** signed that clearly state that if a prospect cancels for any reason the application deposit is forfeited. There is no time frame specified so the amount of time it took to notify us of the cancellation is not relevant and the fact that we needed to still needed pay stubs is not relevant either. We held the apartment and processed ***'s credit as he authorized. I have attached the email correspondance where Mimi states they are cancelling due to finding a cheaper apartment.

The check was printed incorrectly and the prospect is coming today to get another check. As a management company we apologize for any behavior that might have been considered anything but positive customer service

Good afternoon! I received a duplicate Revdex.com complaint regarding the application and deposit for you and Mr***. I'm not sure if this was intended or if you were trying to get an update on the original complaint. As I informed your co-applicant,
Mr***, the original Revdex.com notification was sent to a previous employee of Main Street Realty and it took a few days for the original complaint to make it to me. The deposit, check# ***, was returned to *** *** *** *** ** *** (current address given). I'm assuming the check has been received since the original complaint has now been closed by the Better Buiness Bureau. Please let me know if the check has not been received or if you need anything else.

I am rejecting this response because: the refrigerator was NOT REPAIRED, it broked down  again and this time another repairman replaced the défective part (cold control) which was causing the problem. As the oven is concerned, resetting the board should not have cost as much as I was charged. And I was charged 2 service calls: $85 and $42.50 when other repair companies do no charge service call when repair is done. I feel the South Tx Appliance repair took advantage of the situation

If the repair from your company had been done correctly I would not have had to call another company.

Service fee is collect at time of first visit for our diagnosis whether the service repair is wanted or not. We are sorry that you feel that way about the repairs. Regarding the refrigerator repair, the technician would troubleshoot the most common problem with the repair. oven was not working at all. The technician reset the board which made it function properly. The price including the service fee due at the time of the visit.[redacted]

We did receive a check for $200 for the rental deposit which was forwarded from [redacted].  This shows that Main Street Realty did finally refund the deposit for the rental application, as they said they would, to our former address.
