First of all, I gave a glowing review for CreateSpace to my clients and personal experienceThey were helpful and knoweledgeableNow, I am in a quagmire because we had requested a printed proof of one of the books we were working onOn our end, we have had to make MINOR adjustments to the interior text in the fileWe had re-uploaded the INTERIOR file and then that's when the problems began
First, they downgraded the resolution of the cover when there was no prior issue beforehandIf there was, it did not hurt it on the printed proof the first timeHowever, after we re-uploaded the file and left the cover file alone, that's when they made changesTo fix it they said the cover's measurements are way too bigI've been formatting the last several books with this cover size and all of a sudden they're doing this? It printed out fineI don't understand why the cover needed to be looked at again - They kept saying that they went through different people and each person reviews it differentlyIf there was an issue like the cover being physically too big - why was it not addressed the first timeAlso, if we didn't change the file and only the interior, WHY even bother looking at the cover?
Secondly, to placate them I corrected the file dimensions and resubmitted the cover only to have them say that "The title must appear in full on the front cover or on the spine of the book." of which is ridiculousI looked at the file itself and it is in NO way rendered incorrectly as to not show the cover and neither are the dimensions that way off
They said the correct dimensions were 17.32" X 8.75" compared to the incorrect 17.06"X8.75"Even then, they couldn't even READ the cover title? This is ridiculous! They never mentioned any issue beforehand with the cover - but then when I correct the dimensions they lose the cover titleAlso, to note, when they told me to shrink down the actual layout size - they NEVER gave me the exact dimensions that I was supposed to have itI understand needing to have things exact but a 0.06" to a 0.32" size and NOT SEEING THE COVER TITLE IS RIDICULOUSIf they have said the exact specs beforehand, then we wouldn't have this back and forthThey've pushed the release of the book at least a week and them not accepting responsibility is maddeningWhen I asked the senior specialist for a supervisor they said no one was available

They said they had an issue with page Upon calling Customer Service, they took another look at the file and said that there was no issue with the marginHowever, since they couldn't approve of itI had to wait another hoursBy this time my deadline had passed and the book is not yet availableI spoke to the supervisor and he said he would look into it

I received the call from the supervisorHe had said that the design team told him that I had put the measurements wrong in my template and had switched the dimensions from "7.125" to "7.25" and "10.25" to "10.125"So none of the design team ever brought this up in subsequent proofs, and the very same information was found in their COMMUNITY postsBecause of this, my book is delayed again and I could very well lose customers
What I disagree with is that when its a mistake on their end, they cannot expedite itI have to wait on their time and termsThere is no rush or way to fix that issueI have to take it and go with itNow I will have to submit this document again, and I sincerely hope they don't come up with some reason that isn't valid to hold my book up any further

On July 28, Createspace made charges to my credit card, for $4,986.97, for $4,and for $I never made any purchases from this company and this is clearly FRAUD, All I have been getting is the run around about thisI have only been told the items were Educational Books shipped to Kansas I live in Mississippi I have contacted them several times to get this money refunded to me only to be told I would receive a call back and nothing has happened
