Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Attach are two pictures; One is a picture of the assumed damaged to the jet ski which again was not inspected right away and was inspected with me or my party being present ( about a mins from the time we got out of the truck while waiting at your shop and you guys were so called inspected the jet ski.) There was that time difference were we wasn't present by the jet ski ( the jet ski was not visuable to us ) and you guys come back and stated we damaged the jet ski, how does that proof that we damaged it It should have been inspected right away and infront of us not behind our backs I have also attach a picture of the jet ski while in the water, as you can see there was no damaged to the jet ski Regards, [redacted]

I just spoke to [redacted] 7/30/at 4:15pm Thru detailed discussion it was not our business that rented to the persons named in the complaint I'm waiting for him to verify this and call me back I advised that it most likely was Malows across the street I also advised that I would assist them to recover the money that they paid Thank you, [redacted]

Complaint [redacted] -- It's true our contracts are long, but "a couple hour to read it" is an exaggeration It actually takes about minutes to read it, which one should do before they sign a contract And in that contract, you agree to pay for all damages Most customers that have damages are upset because they have to fork out money they had not planned on We understand thatBut we have to charge for damages, which costs us time and money As a good faith effort, I will split you dispute with you and offer you $to resolved the matter

They are CROOKS!!! Charging customers for made up damage to old and worn jet skis Their equipment was faulty as well They should be shut down Complaints on line go back years

*** ***.There's no way the ski was damagedI never ran it into anything or sucked up any rocksThe ski was running well when the guy from the company was maneuvering itHe had the ski on because I heard the engineThey claimed that the ski was non functional after I returned itIf that's the case why was the engine on and the guy driving it onto the trailerThen after the inspection I noticed that the ski was completely dry didn't have an ounce of water on itI asked if that was the same ski I rented they said yes but never proved it to meIt that was really the same ski then the inside part where the impeller is should've been wetI have a picture of that

I was very skeptical about renting with them due to the poor reviews written internet wideHowever, after asking around in the hotel we were staying at, several people recommended this place so I decided to give them a shot
They had EXCELLENT customer service and pricing!! $all day rental plus gasI only ended up paying $for the whole dayThere is a $deposit that is returned at the end of the dayThe year before I paid about $for ONLY hours at a different business!!

Last weekend my family and I rented a couple of wave runners to enjoy at the river in LaughlinUnfortunately my dad chose to go with a different company and he used Malow'sWhen we first walked in they were very rude and they were all sitting around in chairsThe woman who helped us was very rude asking lots of questionsWhen the time came for my dad to give her a deposit instead of saying something like, "Your total will be...," she said, "You owe me $400." She had an attitude to go along with that sentenceThere were three of us who were going to be using the wave runners and they didn't really want to give us more than three life jackets but the lady told us three was okay but no moreI have never been talked to like that beforeWe have rented from many different rental businesses and they always make sure to ask us how many people NEED life jackets because it is a safety issue, this lady didn't seem to care too much though
We took the wave runners out and when it came time to return them I called the store letting them know they were ready to be taken out of the waterThe same lady who spoke to me earlier answered the phone and continued her conversation with someone in front of herAfter about seconds she said, "Yeah hello" in a very rude toneI told her they were ready to be picked up and were by the loading dockShe then rudely told me, "There are guys out there, you need to look for them they will NOT look for youIt's not their job." After I got to the loading dock I had to approach one of the men who was supposed to get them out of the water and told him my dad and fiance were ready to come inHe ignored meI had to try and get his attention several times, he was talking to a group of young girlsFinally he told me he couldn't get them out because he had to go get the girls gasAfter waiting about minutes he finally came back and didn't want to get my dad and fiance out of the water, he continued talking to the girlsI had to go tell him twice they have been waiting for you for over minutes since I called the storeFinally the man got the wave runners on the trailerHe was supposed to take them with him to go gas them up and instead took off and left all of us there without letting us know what he was doingMy mom and I had to leave them at the loading dock because they were wet and didn't want to ruin the seats in the truck (the man made them get off the wave runners IN the water instead of on the trailer like every other business I have used does)
My mom and I had to go to the gas station to fill the wave runners up and then go back to their store to retrieve our deposit and to make sure everything was in orderWhen I got there the man who had taken the wave runners out of the water was inside telling the lady I had spoken to earlier somethingI walked in (they were standing right inside the doorway) and they didn't say anything to meI had to say, "I'm here to do the inspection, return the life jackets and get the deposit back." Another woman was extremely rude and told me I was not able to handle any of the business with them (they had seen me earlier that day because my dad and I went in to pick the wave runners up)Finally after about minutes of explaining why my dad couldn't come in they told me I would be able to get the deposit back after the machines were inspectedThey told me that I could just go home and that they would put the money back onto the credit card after the inspection was doneShe kept insisting that I leave and it would all be taken care ofI have NEVER experienced this in my entire life
I told her I wanted to wait and make sure everything went smoothly and that there were no problemsI waited minutes and they still had not been inspectedThe woman kept asking everyone if I really did pay for the gas in the wave runners like I was not telling the truthA man walked in and told her that a wave runner had been brokenThe lady responded and said, "Did they put gas in it though?" The man told her noThe lady turned around and yelled at my mom and I, "I thought you said you put gas in it?!" I told her that I had no idea who that man was and that I have NOTHING to do with him or the broken wave runnerThe fact that she would RUDELY turn around and YELL and accuse me of something without asking anyone for details is amazingShortly after I walked outside to find another man hooking his car up to the wave runners I had rentedHe told me he was taking them back down to the water to go pick some other ones upI had to tell him they were waiting to be inspected myselfThere is SERIOUS lack of communication and intelligence hereFinally the man came out and inspected them and I was given my deposit back, or so I thinkAfter waiting at their store for minutes I was able to go back and get my dad and fiance
This is the WORST business I have EVER been inI can't even begin to describe There is no desk or any form of organization in the entire placeI do not trust these people and they kept a copy of my dad's license and informationWho knows what could happen to itI don't believe they should be in business any longer, they do not care about their customers one bitI cannot believe you would lease space to someone like thisThey are clearly bad for the city and taking peoples' moneyOther reviews on Yelp and other sites suggest the same thing

We rented a jet ski from this business on April of They advertised for $for all day use Well, that was not the case, however, we always realize that there are often "hidden" costsThey did require a deposit and inspect the ski with you However, when you return the jet ski, they inspect on there own and then call you over In our case, they claimed we had damaged the propeller and they will keep our deposit I vehemently disagreed with them as they attempted to claim we bent the propeller I refused to sign the agreement Indeed, they kept my deposit and I have since disputed that with my bank I have since reviewed them on *** and see a consistent trend of complaints from other consumers
