[redacted] is no longer contracted by Map Destinations.  My understanding is the [redacted] has appointed a receivor  to the company.  The members should contract the [redacted] office in the [redacted].

Please accept this response on behalf of MAP Destinations.  I reviewed the member portal.  The member executed the membership agreement on 1-23-15.   As of today 1-6-2015, the member has never logged into their account.  The member has never attempted to contact the Reservation...

Center or submitted any request for travel.A review of the documents executed by the parties reflects a thorough review of the presentation with all questions answered, both Mr. and Mrs. Hildebrand affirmed with their initial and signature prior to executing the contract that "Therefore, having made an informed judgment to join MAP Destinations, do you without duress, and authorize the execution of your membership agreement in accordance with the date shown above".   Therefore, there is neither legitimate basis for the complaint nor termination.  If the member makes an earnest attempt to actually use the benefits and services he contracted for and if Map Destinations and Reservation Services fail to provide in accordance to the terms of the agreement, I will be happy to assist them further.  Thank you,[redacted]

Please accept this response on behalf of Map Destinations.   Frankly, I've been addressing consumer complaints for businesses for over 5 years.  This complaint is almost too ridiculous to respond to based on my review of the actual events.  I listened to the audio recording made by...

the [redacted] as he spent more than 25 minutes reviewing the contract and the benefits that were included prior to executing any documents.   Ms. [redacted] asked a question about hotels as though she misunderstood the presentation.  The [redacted] asked if she would like for the [redacted] to come in and answer any questions or concerns and she said yes.  She and her [redacted] laughed and conversed with the [redacted] and said "that is great".   They went through the website and asked to search for specific opportunities with the [redacted] which he did.   They seemed more than pleased with the results.  They were expressly told that family members would be added for free and they were.   The processing fee that has nothing to do with adding family members was thoroughly explained, understood and agreed to.  They were clearly told and the complaint affirms that there was no right of rescission.  They were specifically asked if they wanted to move forward and they said yes.There was zero indication that Mr. [redacted] was intoxicated.  There was zero evidence that Ms. [redacted] did not fully understand exactly what she was doing.  There is zero indication that anyone put even the smallest amount of pressure on them to execute the agreement.   There is zero evidence that either made an effort to leave or any indication they were uncertain about completing the transaction.   Moreover they clearly, individually affirmed and executed the statement:   "Therefore, having made an informed judgment to join Map Destinations today, do you without duress authorize the execution of your membership agreement in accordance with the date shown above?"Conclusively, this complaint is not only baseless, the events defined in the complaint are simply false libelous.  If Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] will authorize me to do so I will disclose and publicize the entire recording of their contract execution in order to remove all doubt.  On behalf of the company,[redacted]

Please accept this response on behalf of Map Destinations.   I have reviewed the contact records with the Reservation Services member portal.   The member has submitted and received quotes for several requests.  There are no notes in the file referencing any concern with the prices...

given.  During daily presentations, live screenshots are taken from the member website that show available proprietary travel opportunities.   The proprietary trips are always limited in quantity but as soon as they are sold they are replaced with new members only opportunities.  It is quite possible that a trip shown one day would be a higher price several months later.  However, there are typically very similar opportunities with substantially the same savings available daily.In addition to the proprietary opportunities, Reservation Services guarantees the lowest price on any travel, anywhere any time at the time of actual booking.   The member is correct that when he called in for a specific cruise, he was given a price as quoted by the cruise line and it reflected the member discount.  However, when the member called back later to book, the discount code from the Cruise line had changed and the price had gone up.  The new price still reflected member savings but the base price had gone up.  This is unfortunately no unusual in the travel industry and pricing today is done in real time based on occupancy and activity levels.   If a large number of people are viewing quotes for a specific cruise, the prices can go up as you refresh your screen.   This is beyond the control of Reservation Services and every other travel agency. That is why the price guarantee is only good at the time you are booking.  I do not see any failure on the part of Map Destinations or Reservation Services to provide services and benefits in accordance to the terms of the membership agreement.  However, if the member has additional specific information regarding higher quotes for specific travel, I will be happy to investigate further if he will provide me with the information.Thank you,[redacted]

Please accept this response on behalf of Map Destinations.  Ms. [redacted] submitted a complaint to my office and I have responded.  Ms. [redacted] has been unable to provide my office with documentation to substantiate her position.  As per my most recent email attached below, I suggested...

that the next time she is prepared to book travel to let me know and I can track the transaction in real time to see if she is actually able to book the same accommodations at a lower price.Thank you,[redacted]Ms. [redacted],
I have spoken with both companies this morning.  The bottom line is [redacted] is the company responsible for fulfillment of the benefits you purchased under the agreement.  The membership comes with a guarantee of the best price.   They have responded that in each case you submitted, when you look at the exact accommodation including all taxes and fees, their price is lower and I cannot seem to prove them wrong.
The best recommendation I have been given is for you to call the 800# and ask to speak to a travel Manager regarding your concerns.   
Otherwise, what I am limited to is for you to tell me when you are ready to book your next travel and I will monitor the booking with you.   If the travel manager is unable to address your concerns and explain whats going on, then I will follow up.    I’m just not getting anywhere transmitting emails back and forth.

I am rejecting this response because: I can provide you with dates that I searched your website for travel and how will you verify this information. When we were sitting through the presentation we were told to go to this website and there were several ways to search. This is exactly what I did. I looked for vacation time in Myrtle Beach, SC during the holidays. Once I was unable to locate anything I began searching for Hawaii for anytime just like the guy at the presentation told us to try. There was nothing available in Hawaii. This past Maybe I searched for hotels in the Washington D.C. area, Shenandoah Valley, VA, as well as the outer banks of North Carolina and could not find anything for the dates requested. I have been on the website several times searching for vacations and there has never been anything available. Now please tell me how you are going to prove that this is legit or false information I am providing you. I am tired of the back and forth. You can Google your company and see that this is how your company does business. I want a refund due to the fact that I paid money for a service that was unavailable to me. I was guaranteed that we could book something anywhere at anytime, but that is a false statement. Since you could not make good on this guarantee I want my $3000 refund. I have given the information you requested. Now I would like my refund since you cannot provide a service to me and my family.

sat thru a seminar in st augustine last thursday given by map destinations and were induced to sign up for a "wholesale " price arrangement for vacations and condo use all over the world -- initial price was $9,500 and when we flatly refused they came back with their special anniversary offer for us at $599.00 we sat with Tin Henshaw and gave him our credirt card to seal the deal .upon return to our motel we did a google search on the company and learned to our dismay they are scammers the pain presenter was a Marcus morgan who was very convincing in making his pitch -the good news is we went back and demanded a total refund which they did agree to . my advice would be to say NO to any offer they make
