I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID
***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Had the company honored its original agreement, issues regarding rescheduling would be mootAs the client, I adhered to all of my obligations and just want the company to do the sameHad it been an innocent error, a reputable company would do all it could to handle the issue as soon as possible, rather than texting several days after the scheduled move to advise they could not accommodate us any time ' in the foreseeable future'

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. It plainly states on the contract upon completion I am to sign off that I accept the condition of items moved, that was never doneIt was not done because at no time did I know the movers were completeTo say I offered a mover a beer is a bold faced lie and can prove it, the gentleman asked for a drink I gave him a water and then he asked for a beer which I did give him as I thought again they were going to do as promised and finish the jobInstead they left, I have attached photo's of items damaged or destroyedThe desk had to be placed out for garbage pick up, *** states that it's pressed wood and not made to be moved and I was warned prior to movingAt no time was I warned about anything, if it wasn't made to be moved then leave it and we would have moved and not destroyed a perfectly good deskThe 4th photo is of a mover carrying our dining room table out the door all by himself, sloppy and why many items were damagedShe keeps asking me what I want, well I wanted a smooth move with nothing damaged, instead I have many items damaged and her not offering to try and make this right after repeated promises she wouldThis isn't my business but when a consumer pays over $for a move and would have paid more to have the work completed and then to provide photos of the damage underscores the type of service she providesObviously I'd like to be compensated for her and her teams shortcomings as I didn't ask for all thisThank you very much for your attention to this matter

Response:We have provided our customer with a settlement and also offered to return her pressboard stand to them at no chargeSince it is part of a set, they would be able to find a vendor that is willing to work with pressboard and utilize the money to have the glass replacedHowever there is really no more we can doWe are offering to return item and keep the settlement checkIn layman's terms, pressboard is not covered by any movers because it is not made to moveThe fact that the glass was broken is also related to the item itself not being stable enough to support moving, all the parts are integratedWe encourage them to contact the office for delivery of the item prior to our disposal of itIt is scheduled to be disposed of on 4/15/Thank you,Sent on: 4/1/5:57:PM

[After a review of my personal cell phone records, Ms*** never personally returned my phone calls as requested. Emails delivered to her and the company's claim department generate a generic response by email. Please be advised that since the Revdex.com does not handle robbery and/or theft complaints that this claim focuses on the refusal of Ms*** to share insurance information with the claimant. However, since Ms*** brought up the theft in the response to her previous message I believe that I must provide additional information to her statement. Please be advised her own insurance company recommended that I could file a complaint with the Kentucky Department of InsuranceMs*** acknowledged to the police officer that other movers had stolen items previously. Therefore, why doesn't her company mention purchasing insurance on the phone instead of in an email to better serve customers? Also, just because an item is not in the pawn system does not mean that it was not stolen. Ms*** did report to me that one of the movers previously moved me; however, she did not put in her statement that the same worker in collaboration with another refused to unhook hoses for a washer and dryer. My father left the apartment unattended to retrieve tools as they stated they would not unhook the washer and dryer. Also, the movers requested that my father go to the ***io area and wipe down an outside chaise lounge because there was a spider web on it and the mover was afraid of spiders. I recognize the Revdex.com does not deal with complaints of theft; however, ***'s Movers failed to meet the verbal agreement of unhooking hoses to the washer and dryer as their company representative reported they would when I arranged the move. ]

Do not wish to pursue further interaction with the company as I feel they are untrustworthy at this point I wish to have this info posted to warn others Please note that had the truth been told by mover to begin with, it would not have gotten to this pointOr if they had waited minutes for us to arrive with key on the second attempt..since they would have paid regardless
When the move was scheduled, it was for a move from *** to ***When we arrived the refrigerator that was supposed to go to *** was filthy and full of foodWe informed the shipper that we could not move the refrigerator with items in it and being dirtyA week later the
shipper’s daughter contacted me to move the refrigeratorAfter communication back and forth, I discovered that they wanted the refrigerator in *** brought back to *** as wellThis was never originally orderedI told her that we could do this for $only if we were going to *** for another moveWe agreed to do so the following FridayWhen the crew left the warehouse, I called the shipperHe told me that he was in *** and Taprana would be waiting for us thereWhen we arrived the door that the new tenants instructed us to take the refrigerator through was a rear door which led into a gated/fenced back yardThe shipper had the only keyVia the telephone he told my crew that he was only a few minutes away and they should wait thereWhen my crew informed me of this, I knew the shipper was not being honest, as I had hung up with him only moments before and he told me he was waiting for them in ***I instructed the crew to leave for their previously scheduled moveAfter this the shipper’s daughter contacted me again asking when we would be moving the refrigerator or she would be contacting the Revdex.comI told her that at this point it would be prudent for her to find another mover to handle the refrigerator
We never received payment for moving the refrigerator therefore there is no refund warrantedI feel that we made attempts to move this refrigerator to no avail and am confident that they can locate a mover who can work within their parameters and conditionsWe are very sorry that we could not move the itemMoving is what we do, so we have no intention on arriving and not moving the items
We wish them a heartfelt good luck in their future endeavors

The detective assigned to the case was not available due to "serving a warrant at the time and all the Derby activities" and would be getting ahold of me after DerbyI was told this by Detective *** *** on 5/3/The customer knows this to be true as she was also in communication with the police departmentI was the person to initiate contact multiple times with the police department, to the point of asking the detective that called me back after my many messages to at least run my workers through pawn check so that if they had taken them, they may still be recoveredHe agreedThat was on 5/03/Detective ***l did not return my calls until 5/11/He stated he would be contacting the customer on the 11th or 12thOnce I had what I believed all the facts, I submitted to my insurance companyThey needed further information, which I requested on 5/18/@ 9:26am via emailI continually emailed our customer with all the information I knew, as I knew itOnce the insurance company had all the documentation, including all the email correspondence between myself & the customer, the police report & investigation, bill of lading etc., they processed the claimWe have no part in the decision making process & based on our deductible we were responsible for the liability that was assigned to usThe explanation of the claim processing was sent from the insurance company to the customer on 5/31/That check was cut and sent on 6/15/All reporting and processing dates were within guidelines and standardsAgain, as I have said numerous times, if I had piece of evidence that we were responsible for this, I would reimburse our customer for her lossesTo further my position, one of the workers was on her previous move and nothing was takenNothing weird or out of the ordinary occurred on this move.I am sorry that I do not have a different outcome at this timeMany times things that cannot be located initially after a move are located afterThat is my sincere hope in this case

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I understand that the sod can't be laid at this time due to the snow Previously, at the time I called it was a two week period where we had good weather My builder laid the sod in December I would prefer to keep this case open until the weather improves and the sod can be laid because I don't trust that they will complete this task After their last response to the complaint, I called them to schedule this task and I spoke to "***" He was extremely rude and was quick to tell me they weren't going to do anything for for me since I called the Revdex.com After he hung up on me I called ***'s Moving back and was unable to speak with *** but left a message to call me To date, no one from ***'s has ever returned any of my phone calls

When scheduled, I personally assisted *** in scheduling the flat fee move for the pianoAt that time only addresses were given, a load address and an unload addressWhen confirming today, a 3rd address was givenWe only have had item on our list, a upright piano, therefore we would have
only had addresses as item cannot go to different locationsAdding the 3rd address and stop is the reason for the price changeHad the information and services remained the same, we could have and would have left the prices as is, however when the scope of the work changes, so must the priceI am the person who approved this move to be done during the initial call as we have a full schedule and *** was really trying to accommodate this customerToday is the first time an extra stop was mentioned as well as another item to be movedWe are sorry that we were not able to come to an agreement, however I did not approve $175-for stops, traveling miles
Response:
The disputed difference of $has been refunded

[Ms*** refused to provide her insurance provider information to me. I requested insurance information the week of April 18th and numerous times thereafter; however, I did not get a response from the insurance company until May 31st by email. I received a check on 6/17/from ***'s Moving and Storage out of an operating account that was dated 6/13/16. It was not issued from the insurance company. The claim is not resolved as I dispute the amount that Ms*** wants to settle the amount for. My concern is that it took around weeks for me to receive insurance information from Ms*** along with numerous other issues.

The initial scope of the job you requested and the corresponding estimate you received was to load your items, allow them to sit for a day or two on the trucks, and then unload themThe estimate you received was for the estimated labor hours and supplies needed to accomplish that order of service
On the day of the move you informed us that the items would not be delivered in a day or two, but instead would need to be stored for an extended amount of time before they were deliveredLogically, to load trucks and unload them into storage and then load them again for delivery would require significantly more labor that what was initially estimatedIt is in essence two separate movesTo compare the final total cost to the estimate is not fair or accurateYou were estimated for a service and then requested different and additional servicesAs would be with any local move we perform, you were billed for the labor hours needed to complete the work you requestedBy your own admittance you were quoted $3,If you follow the line of thought that the services you requested were in fact for two separate, full moves AND you want to link those services to the initial quote then the total should have been somewhere around $7,meaning we would have been significantly below the estimateAnd, in actuality, you were provided a month of storage at no cost as wellIt would be impossible to refund the difference of the estimate and the final total because the actual services provided were not the services estimatedThe services you requested were the services provided and billed accordinglySent on: 10/6/2:29:PM
