I have recently returned to a career as a real estate salespersonMy greatest desire is to serve others, and help them gain what they need in this arenaGranted, I am trusting, naive, inexperienced, and depend on honest, open, forthright communications from one selling me a business systemThis is what my clients going forward have a right to expect from me
Market Leader is dishonest in their sales approachThe sales tactics used are, pushy, insistent and manipulative and take advantage of agents trusting nature
NO mention of the NO cancellation policy until after payment was madeThe policy was included at the bottom of the email receipt for paymentI have requested cancellation several times and the answer is always NO!!

My request is a cancellation of the month contract and no further contact

Bait and switch by promising an exact number of quality leads per monthThe company never delivered on quality and delivered less than half of leads promisedOn March 30th I canceled services, however Company refused to cancel and told me I cant cancelAgain on April 26th I canceled all services again in witting and wrote that the company is no longer authorized to debit my Chase debit cardThe company ignored this written request and on May 1st charged my debit card anyway for $

I am rejecting this response because:I stand by my original commentsMarket Leader is engaging in an elaborate scam, as will be attested to by other agents who have been scammed out of thousands of dollars by this company, and in that regard, my position is, and will remain firm that the alleged contract is not enforceable

My contract for marketing leads with this company ended at the end of JuneI emailed my sales rep in MAY to ask to discontinue my leadsShe said someone would have to CALL me to discontinue the leads
I have no record of receiving that call and felt it was a pretty big imposition for me to be required to find a time to make that call to end a contract that should never have gone past that initial months (ending at the end of June)
I was billed again in JulyI messaged my sales rep again demanding an end to being billed and a refund for the erroneous monthStill nothing
I was billed yet againAnd now they are telling me that they are willing to give me a 50% refund if I fill out a form, etc etc
They are making it unnecessarily difficult to leave, not following through on their promises to call to cancel it, not giving me a direct number to call to cancel it, and extending the contract without my permission

I was contacted by Steve A*** several times at the end of June regarding purchasing Buyer and Seller leads from Market LeaderOn July 1, I entered into a month contract with Market Leader signing the contract onlineI was told my monthly fee would be $including the website and leads purchasedI was charged $on July 5, which was the set up fee just like he said July 5th, I tried to call Steve A*** to ask a few questionsWhen he did not return my call, I got in contact with Charlie on July 6th around 12:55pm CST, he said Steve would call me in about minutesAt 2:30pm CST I called again and talked to Keven B***I began to ask him the questions I had for SteveI wasn't sure how to upload my photo and logo because after attempting to do so, it froze my website with Market LeaderKevin asked my if I had set up my IDXI told him I didn't know what he was talking aboutHe said I had to contact my association to find out which IDX they requiredI

At first, I was excited to sign up with My Market Leader since my contact, Joseph, had explained things really well He also indicated that if I signed up for a number of leads I could change it at any time including reducing the number if I wanted So a month after I signed up, I wanted to talk to Joseph some more but he never returned my phone calls I then emailed him and his emails bounced back So I called and asked to speak to someone about my account That was when things really hit the fan
A Maria answered the phone and was immediately hostile She berated me for not recognizing that Joseph had left when he didn't return my phone calls and made it clear that he wasn't really there to help me once the original sale was madeShe stated that it was ridiculous for me to expect that the company would let me know my point of contact had left
The original sales person, Joseph, told me I could terminate my contract anytime but of course, he lied to make the sale Maria didn't take any responsibility for her salesperson stating facts to me Whatever good will and interest I had in using the site is now destroyed by actually dealing with Maria and this company
My recommendation to any real estate professional is to find another company because this one is about getting new clients, not customer service or product enhancement

They offered to sell me real estate seller leadsWhen sold to me, they said in order for a lead to count, the lead would include an email and telephone numberThey also said the leads would only go to me and no other agentsThe contract was for months, and they said that if I do not receive the amount of leads purchased/gauranteed every month they will evaluate and credit me back the difference for the bad leads or lack of leadsI have not been receiving the promised leads and the ones I did receive had no phone numbers and were bad leadsThey re-evaluated my account and credited me back for several months or leads they claimed were bad, but when I asked for a break down refused to send that to meMy month contract is up in Nov, I refused to pay September because these leads are just a joke and asked they re-evaluate, they did not respondI am not paying another dime to them, and I am considering taking action as they should owe me for the ridiculous amount they are billing

Dear Revdex.com, We are sorry to hear that our customer is not satisfied with our serviceOur customer entered into a legally binding month agreement with us on 07/28/for a website, contact management system, and an average monthly volume of LeadsDirect leadsWe gave her discount of $off for her first two monthsAll of the leads that our customer has received from us are real people who chose to register on her website after clicking on one of the paid advertisements that we placed for our customer on search enginesWe run these advertisements on and off throughout the month in order to meet our customer's lead guaranteeWe hope that our customer understands that we can’t and won’t be able to supply her with “copies” of these online adsIf a website visitor did not come from our paid advertising, it does not count as a lead from Market Leader or towards the guaranteeAll of the leads in our customer's contact management system are labeled with a Source, so she can see how each lead reached her websiteOnly contacts with a Source of "Google" or "Other Ad Campaigns" are counted towards the lead guaranteeIf a lead finds our customer's website organically in a search engine, the Source will say "SEO"These leads do not count towards the guaranteeWe are absolutely not reselling leads to the agent that they generated themselvesIn fact, our customer has had a total of new leads in her system since signing up for this serviceTwelve of these leads have a source of “Google” or “Other Ad Campaigns.” This are all leads that were generated by advertisements that Market Leader placed online to drive traffic to our customer’s websiteOne of the leads has a source of “Entered,” which means our customer manually entered this contactThere is zero evidence that our customer is driving her own paid traffic to this siteIf she were, those leads would have a source of “SEO.” With regards to comments made on Facebook by another Market Leader customer; these have no bearing on our customer’s issue and are purely conjectureWe simply do not, and never have resold leads to agents that they have generated themselvesThis issue is addressed and resolved

When I signed up for this I was under the impression that they would let you know that your annual membership is coming to an end, they did no such thingThe leads they provided where just bots, meaning they send you a lead with no email or phone number, the ones that have an email or phone number they don't answer or reply back at allso 10% of leads have contact information and when you do contact them there is no one on the other lineCountless email and voice messages and still not one solid leadThey know that their service isn't good at all so they refuse to back customers money back guaranteeCustomer service is also another issue, well you know what you signed up for and well learn how to run your business is all they keep on telling mePlease for all you realtors out there, DO NOT SIGN WITH THIS LEAD GENERATION COMPANYThey don't give a *** about your business

I have sighned contract with them because they promissed high quality real estate leadsBut all what I got from them during months is people who just brousing internet and don’t want to buy or sell a houseThey just couldn’t go in to my web site without shigning upIt hard to call a leadsIt looks like they using google ad to get a leadsAt the moment when google charges time less then themFor $a month they send me leads which are unsubscribing right away, or they send me an email that they just looking what’s going on on market and nor going to buy or sell anyrhingI havemonths contract which they are not allowing we to terminateI paid for the perioud I used it and not gonna pay any more for nothingThey said they will send my information to cellectors.But I just don’t want their service any more

This company charged me $for a contract that was mistakenly signed by my assistant going through emailThere is no signature, there is just a button to clickThe employee does not work for me any moreWhen I contacted Market leader, they made me send a email stating I will not dispute charges even though I did not sign any contractI have over leads plus work that I needed to do for the dayI spoke with billing, there sales agent and the Manager that would only tell me his name is Matt
Market leader has no respect for customerThey are very rude and felt like I have just been scamIt's a small company working in one office and I felt like they all came up with one like statement of $This company has no morals, they have no respect and I would not recommend them for any business

Contracted with Market Leader for personalized marketing soulitionsThey wereDry friendly and helpful until I agreed to signup and work with themThey send me a bill for $and told me the remaining $would be charged at the end of them month once they had provided their service
I gave them my card number for the $to get everything set up and the next thing I know they have charged me more than $I call for an explanation and was told that they misspoke and that they precharge for servicesI was irritated about this but thought I would let it iron out in the long run

I am rejecting this response because: I disagree with their response as they DID tell me they scrubb the leads for good qualified leads that would be coming to meHow I found out that they sent me bogus lead was through a lead who claims they never went through Market Leader and don't know how I got their email address to send them informationI have record of an email that shows up in Market Leader as a lead to me that states the following:Hi ***,I do not know HOW you got our e-mail and I have not seen any of the homes youmentioned you sent.I have family in Virginia and we are working with the *** *** *** *. Thank youfor your interest in our move but we have not even sold our house here yet and do NOThave a date for relocation as yet.Keep Selling, This is just the text to the email from the so call "lead" that was sent to me through Market LeaderI didn't copy the name but have the email in question saved for further investigating. My complaint to Market Leader is legit and to date my real estate license has been put on INACTIVE status due to "personal medical reasons" and nothing to do with this complaint I have again them I have also requested for them to shut down my website due to I am no longer a real estate agent and cannot legally advertise as one through a websiteThey have refused to do so and this will cause more problems to be resolved for me. I would also like to further state that Market Leader DID NOT complete training with me as statedThere was a lot that was not addressed to me in conversations about the ENTIRE processI have read negative reviews and have also saved them for further investigation of how very similar my case is to themIn my case as well as others, it's all about the money and not providing the services I am paid for to dateI refuse to work with leads that do not know how I got their email address and also refuse to pay for services that have rendered me no resultsI have worked the leads sent to me from Market Leader and with no results for the amount of money they are chargingI will continue to stand my ground on the complaint I have filed. .

We apologize to our customer for the confusionThe cancellation policy that our customer agreed to when she signed up for our service is that the “Client may terminate by giving notice on or before the 25th day of the then current month, and signing and returning the cancellation confirmation
provided by Market Leader on or before the 25th day of the then current month, in which case termination will become effective on the last day of the next calendar month.“ Our customer emailed us requesting to cancel on 05/29/and returned the cancellation confirmation provided by Market Leader on 06/04/15, which means that we would not normally be able to cancel her account until 07/31/That being said, we spoke with our customer on 07/20/and made an exception to waive her July balanceHer account is set to cancel on 07/31/and she will not be billed againOur customer indicated that she is satisfied with this resolution

I am concerned about real estate leads which I am getting from Market Leader that are suppose to be coming through my website that I am paying for which I am finding are other agents clients and un -scrubbed leads Example: I received an email from one that wanted to know how I got their email address because he never went to my sightHe has an agent he is already working with Then another lead contacted me that was irate about receiving emails from me and she too complained asking me how did I get their email How does this happen? I am concerned because I have gotten leads that are not qualified leads I was told from the beginning when the account executive explained the entire website and lead generation process that these would be legitimate qualified serious real estate buyers/sellers which I am paying up front money forI have approached the company via phone, email and by sending a consumer complaint letter directly to the company Market LeaderI have requested
