GFedale Roofing and Siding was a pleasure to do business with They promptly arrived to provide an estimate, which after a very informative presentation was printed and given to me before the sales person left my home They scheduled my work so much more quickly than I had anticipated The roofing crew arrived when expected, worked well together, were very polite, did a perfect job, and removed all the day's mess at the end of each work day Amanda, in the office and Darren at the site were so helpful in answering all my questions or concerns They are both true assets to the company as is Brad, the sales person Thank you for superior service

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] *nd have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I do not feel that I should have to pay for any work that was not done or that I specifically asked them not to do This includes all flashing on the chimney and pipe jacks I also do not believe there was twenty hours of demolition done, either onsite or offsite, unless Mr [redacted] can describe in detail what offsite demo was done Mr [redacted] claims there were crews of or more workers I was home the entire time work was being done on my house There was a man crew working on the roof for about hours and I am not disputing that $charge The siding was done by one large, Russian man in about hours, over days Mr [redacted] also keeps saying additional shingles were replaced on other sections of the roof which is not true I asked the project manager if they were going to do that and he said no because the shingles were crumbling, which is also not true because I saw whole shingles all over my backyard, so they have both been proven wrong It could have been done but wasn't I have been up on my roof before, during and after the work was completed I believe [redacted] relies on their customers and the general public to be gullible and ignorant of what is actually going on, so they can charge whatever they want and not have to justify it Being an intelligent and informed individual, I am disappointed there was not more communication during this process They also should have written things down when I told them not to work on certain areas, if they were going to forget Mr [redacted] continues to insist that he has some kind of contract or arrangement with my insurance company My insurance company works for and pays me and only me I pay them monthly so that when something happens to my home, they will write me a check to make the repairs, at my leisure I can do some of the work now and some in the future Even if Mr [redacted] met with my insurance company to add funds for the roof, those funds go to me, not him The insurance company pays me I pay [redacted] There is not contract between my insurance company and [redacted] , period Even after Mr [redacted] met with my insurance company I could have cancelled all work by [redacted] and gone with a completely different company I am surprised Mr [redacted] is not aware of this, considering his line of work I do not wish to have [redacted] give me any further estimates, inspections, or even a warranty If their work comes apart I would rather pay a different company to come repair it I will counter Mr [redacted] 's previous offer with an offer of $to bring the grand total to $ I do not believe I have to pay any more because I have already paid with a check marked "paid in full" which would most likely hold up in court but, I am willing to pay the additional sum anyway to avoid the hassle

We discussed with Fedale remedies for the leak problem. They said they will contact me next week and start workThey called today 10-10-and said work will send next Monday Also we need to have a remedy for the cap which was replaced and cracked. The cap and walls that were repaired were not sprayed with a substance that is like a plastic shield against dampness or water. This was not done after the wall of fireplace and cap was repairedThank you

The GFedale Leadership team and Ms*** have been in communication with each otherG Fedale is committed to bringing resolution to any outstanding issues and
addressing any invoicing questions as wellA meeting has been scheduled and a plan is now in place

We have responded to the customer and have sent our Technical Director to review the situation at their home today. We are committed to finding resolution and bringing
closure. We apologize for any confusion or misunderstandingIt seems there are numerous issues with the leak and its source

GFedale completed several small jobs for us and did each well They were able to coordinate the jobs seamlessly and communicated the issues with each job as they were completing them There was also a final overall quality review once the job was complete that identified an issue that they returned to address and fix We would certainly use them again for roofing or siding!

Fedale Roofing is an excellent companyWe had an issue getting financing and they went to bat for us and got us financedThey showed up when they said they would and did a great jobissues came up during the project and both were handled and taken care right away and professionallyI would highly recommend this company

GFedale Roofing installed a roof on my home yesterday in one day and I have a large roof, about squares They were polite, efficient, cleaned up and put everything back where they found it

We have been using G. Fedale services for the past 2 years. I've gotten my house Roof and Siding done, as well as AC Units removed and Porch Wrap job. I'm very satisfied with the quality of their work and the follow-through they have when I had additional questions or concerns about a job.Their workers arrived on time and are responsive. The Project Managers listen to my expectations and work to meet them every time. I never had any issues with scheduling a project and their entire team was honest and professional.

Thank you for allowing the Revdex.com to mitigate this disagreement.
G. Fedale wants to be paid for the work that was done in relation to the insurance adjuster's most recent report. As it describes in the agreed upon contract attached. See the below excerpt for clarification.
/>
- Supply and install labor and materials to expedite the work detailed in the home owners insurance adjusters report that relates to G. Fedale scope.
- Home owner agrees to pay the total RCV (including overhead and profit if applicable) amount detailed in the report relating to G. Fedales scope plus any supplemental items discovered during the course of work to G. Fedale once work is substantially completed.
The first report from the adjuster amounted to $5421.60. G. Fedale met with the adjuster on site in efforts to add on coverage for the homeowner. The updated insurance report after G. Fedale met with the adjuster amounted to 12,511.45. According to the agreed on proposal these additional items and amounts would be owed to G. Fedale if they related to G. Fedale's scope of work. Our invoice attached details work that the home owner opted not to complete.
The home owner is owed by her insurance company $10,863.62. G. Fedale is unsure if the homeowner has received these funds or not.
G. Fedale has received $5,421.60 and sent all receipts to the homeowner. The customer has a remaining balance of $2660.23.
Responses to the complaints of the customer:
Multiple Statements/invoices - G. Fedale sends invoices regularly in efforts to maintain constant income from ongoing jobs. Invoices are edited based on the work that is completed. Especially when relating them to insurance adjuster reports, because the reports tend to change throughout the job. We apologize for the different invoice amounts and confusion but in the end the final invoice relates to exactly what was done according to the agreement.
Claims GFedale is an untrustworthy company - This is the first time we have been accused of being untrustworthy. We would like to offer to have her insurance adjuster do an inspection of the work that was done to ensure that she isn't being billed for something that wasn't done.
Downspout charge - In order to replace one facet of the siding we had to remove some sections of downspout and re-install them after the siding was complete. This is very common.
Demolition charges - G. Fedale had 3 separate crews there of 3 or more workers. G. Fedale workers were on site and offsite working for this project for well over 24 hours. The customer might be thinking that the group of guys wasn't onsite for 24 hours. For clarification; the insurance company is talking about total amount of man hours. So if there is one worker on-site for 4 hours that equals 4 hours. It there are 2 worker on-site for 4-hours that equals 8 hours. Regardless of the time G. Fedale spent on-site this is the number that the insurance company and G. Fedale agreed on and they are still going to pay it in relation to the work.
Roofing concerns - In the insurance companies original report there was not coverage on full roof facets/sections. It wasn't until after G. Fedale met the adjuster on-site, when they offered to replace a facet of roofing, the ridge caps, a few shingles here and there and the chimney flashing. G. Fedale also noted to the insurance adjuster other items that they missed. The customer's insurance company only covered for the specified portion of the roof because it showed a significant amount of damage more then the rest. If the customer wants to replace the rest of the roof we would need to provide an estimate for those additional services that don't relate to the insurance adjuster's report.
Other concerns - Damaged siding, trampled gardens, grass issue - As discussed before G. Fedale is more than willing to provide you with services to correct these issues.
G. Fedale's offer to move forward-
1. Remove the cost for the chimney flashing that was done. We will also notify your insurance company about this. -$298.42
2. Demolition charges - Reduce the demolition charges to 20 hours. Estimated 4 hours would of been accounted to demo the damaged fence. We will notify the insurance company of this as well. -$151.92
3. Remove the cost of the disputed downspouts included in the adjuster report. -$109.00
4. Offer and inspection and services to fix damaged siding, trampled garden, and grass issue once balance agreement is made.
5. Offer to meet insurance adjuster onsite to review everything that was completed in relation to his report.
6. Offer a free roof estimate on remaining areas of roofing that customer has concerns about. (it is not our recommendation that this is needed but can be done upon your request)
Amount Due: $2660.23
Total adjustments offered above - $559.34
New Balance: $2100.89

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]nd have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I do not feel that I should have to pay for any work that was not done or that I specifically asked them not to do.  This includes all flashing on the chimney and pipe jacks.  I also do not believe there was twenty hours of demolition done, either onsite or offsite, unless Mr. [redacted] can describe in detail what offsite demo was done.  Mr. [redacted] claims there were 3 crews of 3 or more workers.  I was home the entire time work was being done on my house.  There was a 3 man crew working on the roof for about 3 hours and I am not disputing that $880 charge.  The siding was done by one large, Russian man in about 8 hours, over 2 days.  Mr. [redacted] also keeps saying additional shingles were replaced on other sections of the roof which is not true.  I asked the project manager if they were going to do that and he said no because the shingles were crumbling, which is also not true because I saw whole shingles all over my backyard, so they have both been proven wrong.  It could have been done but wasn't.  I have been up on my roof before, during and after the work was completed.  I believe [redacted] relies on their customers and the general public to be gullible and ignorant of what is actually going on, so they can charge whatever they want and not have to justify it.  Being an intelligent and informed individual, I am disappointed there was not more communication during this process.  They also should have written things down when I told them not to work on certain areas, if they were going to forget.
Mr. [redacted] continues to insist that he has some kind of contract or arrangement with my insurance company.  My insurance company works for and pays me and only me.  I pay them monthly so that when something happens to my home, they will write me a check to make the repairs, at my leisure.  I can do some of the work now and some in the future.  Even if Mr. [redacted] met with my insurance company to add funds for the roof, those funds go to me, not him.  The insurance company pays me.  I pay [redacted].  There is not contract between my insurance company and [redacted], period.  Even after Mr. [redacted] met with my insurance company I could have cancelled all work by [redacted] and gone with a completely different company.  I am surprised Mr. [redacted] is not aware of this, considering his line of work.
I do not wish to have [redacted] give me any further estimates, inspections, or even a warranty.  If their work comes apart I would rather pay a different company to come repair it.  I will counter Mr. [redacted]'s previous offer with an offer of $579 to bring the grand total to $6000.  I do not believe I have to pay any more because I have already paid with a check marked "paid in full" which would most likely hold up in court but, I am willing to pay the additional sum anyway to avoid the hassle.

I used G. Fedale Roofing to make repairs to the masonry on my chimney. They did a fantastic job within budget and on time.

G. Fedale's team has worked on several projects for the Nature Soceity. We are very pleased with their work and would certainly recommend them. We will continue to use them in the future for repairs and new projects.
