The parts ordered come from overseas and were on backorderThe customer filed a dispute a while before filing this complaint, which also held their order upWe have sent a call tag for the brake pads and will issue a refund when they come back

I had a very unpleasant experience trying to order an exhaust kit through Maryland SpeedFirst, they had incorrect information on their website regarding the correct exhaust kit for my carI had to look up the correct information and correct their mistakeSecond, the President of Maryland Speed, Branden F., used some very strange customer service tactics(1) He tried to make it seem like he did me a favor by listening to me correct the misinformation on his websiteI had to tell him the correct exhaust system so he did not accidently send me the wrong one based on his mistaken information and he told me that he was doing me a favor by allowing me to order an exhaust not listed on his websiteHowever, he did list the exhaust for my car on his website, he was just wrong about which one fit due to ineptitude(2) He withheld critical information regarding shipping and ordering practices and discountsWhen you are looking at his website, he will live chat with you and offer you a discountWhat he does not tell you is that discounted orders are ordered in batchesIn other words, if no one else orders the same part as you for a month or two, then you will be waiting a month or two for your part to shipEven when you ask about shipping time, he will not offer up this informationIt only came up when I asked to cancel my order(3) He threatened that I would never be able to get the part I wanted if I cancelled my order with himSpecifically, he told me that the manufacturer would never send the part to me if I cancelled my order with himWhen I contacted the manufacturer, they were puzzled to hear that and they shipped my part the next day(4) He lied to me about shipping my orderHe told me that my order had either already shipped or would ship the next dayHowever, when I contacted the manufacturer, it was revealed that he had never put in my order so he knew that it had not shipped and would not ship the next dayThus, he directly lied to me about shipping my part(5) He argued with me when I politely asked to cancel my order within the guidelines of his cancellation policiesHe did eventually cancel my order, but only after I had to resort to saying that I would have to dispute the transaction with my credit card, citing his cancellation policiesWhat it boiled down to is that when I was simply trying to get an update on shipping time, the President was so unpleasant that I had to cancel my order instead because dealing with him left such a bad taste in my mouthThis is the first time in my life I have ever felt compelled to write something like thisHowever, that is how terrible my experience has been with Maryland SpeedPlease reconsider spending your hard earned money at Maryland Speed

I am rejecting this response because I do NOT have the parts I ordered. I only have a temporary credit from my credit card company. The business has done NOTHING with my order. I still have not seen a cancellation confirmation
