This company did not even come close to what they were advertising..I told [redacted] I was very dissatisfied with there service and requested monies back.I joined thinking they would find someone with similar interests.I was so disappointed in the so called matches they sent me.Its like there was no effort on there part.After receiving the last one who lived in New Hampshire while I live in Mass I called her and expressed my disappointment and said im very dissatisfied and told her why. She said its not unrealistic do meet someone who's hours away.With that being said we also had nothing in common on top of being so far away..She said just so you know we don't give refunds before I even had a chance to ask her.I said this is a waste of my time and your obviously not even coming close to anyone that shares my ideas and views and im all set with your company and asked for a refund again and she hung up.Its just the principal of what their selling. Countless others have found the right person and yes, some others weren't that fortunate. Sometimes the right person is found within a short time and sometimes it took/takes quite a while.If everyone did find the right person through my efforts, I would be the happiest person on earth.Of course that is not going to be a reality with my dating service or any other personal service. But unlike all other personal dating services that I have ever heard of, I do not charge thousands of dollars and do not promise people anything. At great cost to myself, I only charge 295 dollars of which most goes back into advertising to get people the most matches. People sign waivers before they join understanding there can be no refunds because there are no reserves, and I tell people not to join if they can't afford to take the chance.Many folks in fact read the waiver and don't join.Most people cannot believe the low and fair price. Many clients tell me to charge more, but I haven't raised the price in many, many years.But of the thousands of clients who have joined in my 13 years, (many referred by happy friends) many are glad, in fact, that no refunds are provided because eventually they did find someone special, even if they were discouraged at one time. There have been many marriages and many folks paired off. Imagine a dating service staying in business that provided refunds? I have won Best of the Valley for the last 3 years they had the category and am a member of 2 [redacted] of [redacted] I am proud of the work I do with integrity, of all the now happy couples, of not gouging people on a promise. I work tirelessly and as hard as I know how to do and make very little money. But it is so satisfying to pair up people that would not have had the opportunity to meet. I have had countless renewals in all these yearsfolks wanting to keep at it, liking both the process and working with me.Coincidentally I met two men shortly after [redacted]'s complaintboth were renewing. Without even referring to [redacted] or any client, on his own one said he couldn't believe anyone could be angry with me, given the fair price and knowing how hard I work. The other said the folks he met were so much better matched for him than anyone he met through internet Dating. Neither had met the right one, but both wanted to keep trying.As to [redacted]'s concerns, I never said someone far away was reasonable. Sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't. I told him he needed to call and collaborate with me so I could fine-tune any matches he felt weren't right. He wasn't interested in that. I offered him the upper tier/level,which costs 200 dollars more, at NO charge to him so we could really collaborate and he could review any matches before he got them. I couldn't believe it but he turned it down. He said he wanted nothing to do with my business and wouldn't listen to me at all. I certainly didn't hang up on him. He just wanted nothing to do with anything I said.I don't know what more I could have offered him. I will not find the right person for everyone but I try so hard and all I can do is advertise as much as I do and charge as little as I do and hope the best for everyone. I want everyone to be happy or there would be no point in doing this.Some people have told me my advice alone was worth the money and thanked me for moving them in the right direction, whether they found someone through me or not. Happily most of my clients are grateful for my mission of a personal, affordable and private service and so appreciative of my work. And countless people have been together now for 1-13 years and many babies have been born, some beyond kindergarten at this point. I enclose the waiver clients sign below. I said indeed, that is the point of the waiver so people could decide not to join. I hope he will find a way that suits him better for finding someone special. And if I missed the [redacted], I was happy to keep collaborating in hopes that would happen. Not putting effort into what I do is very far from reality...there is not a place on earth I have been, whether in an intermission, or the car, or watching tv or on vacation and on and on that I have not answered an email from a client. I take what I do so seriously and realize it is not like buying a pair of shoes. Everyone's hopes and dreams are on my shoulders, but I can only do the best I can.And wish the best for everyone because I believe there are people somewhere out there for all my clients.[redacted]'s [redacted] and [redacted]I sure understood firsthand when I met [redacted] just how important Dating Services can be. While over half the adult population is single for the first time in history, there are not many good ways for compatible singles to meet. People have to do something to nudge the universe! As a Dating Service owner, I felt I had only 2 choices: to charge the thousands that other such personal services charge or to charge a fraction of what others charge to at least defray the cost of the expensive advertising necessary to get everyone the most matches. This was a choice I made at great cost to myself and my family. But I refuse to gouge people. No matter what people charge, there can be no guarantees. Not for Internet Dating or personal ads, either. A lot is luck, and an open heart certainly helps. There are no reserves for me to think about refunds and that is why you must sign the form below. You have to be willing to take the risk and at least you will not be risking thousands of dollars. All I can do is advertise a lot, coach you a lot, care about you and hope the best for everyone. I believe there are people for everyone and get excited when each new person signs up, who might be right for someone who has been waiting. It is mysterious and exciting and profound. I have so very many grateful and happy clients, glad they took the chance. They met someone they would never have had a chance to meet. Even if they lived in their neighborhood. (Which has happened!) And many clients are still waiting. Maybe waiting for you! I have matched folks in every decade and of every education level and of all shapes and sizes. Demographics come into play, of course, as do cultural values and interests and religion and politics. This country values "thin" too much....but I have matched many overweight folks. There are more women by far than men over 50 in the Northeast, but I have matched countless women in their 50's, 60's and some in their 70's over timeand many I have not. If you can afford the 295 dollars to take a chance, then you have so much to gain and not much to lose. If you can't take the risk, inherent in joining any dating service, then you shouldn't.
