I would highly recommend Master's Home Solutions. They were clean, prompt, polite, responsive and helped me a great deal with a third part manufacturer who was dragging their feet getting me a replacement part for the shower door. They even came back and installed the shower door for me and didn't have to. What a wonderful experience. Would do, and will do, business again.

They did a great job on our new tub install! Quick and well done.

Purchased a home with a roof put on by this company. Purchased our home in 2017 roof was put on in 2014. After one year in the home we started with a leak in the garage from the roof. Called the company and explained problem. Got no phone calls returned. Had to call several times and ask for a manager before speaking to anyone. Previous owners left copy of proposal showing warranty box checked off. When I spoke to the secretary I explained the leak and gave the address. She asked if my name was ---- (previous owners name) and I of course said no and she then asked when we purchased the home. As soon as she found out it was longer then 30 days she told me she was voiding the warranty. I was given no notice of transferring warranty when we purchased the home. The proposal paperwork has no fine print! Everytime I call this company to speak to someone in charge I'm told all the fine print is on the website. Why would I go looking for this? Why does my new roof have a leak? Not once did this company offer to come look at the roof at my cost!!!!! I am so disappointed that they take advantage of new home buyers and don't express any concern over their customers or product. This is supposed to be family owned and it feels far from it!

called our office one time a few months ago asking for the *** roof warranty to be switched into her name. There was never any mention of an issue and she was directed by our office staff that she would need to reach out to *** because the previous homeowner should have done that with *** within 60 days of the sale. Our office never heard from *** again until this complaint and frankly the claims in it are just not facts. She never called multiple times, nobody from our staff said we were going to void the warranty and there is no leak to be repaired. Niki from our production called as soon as we were notified about this complaint and *** said that there is no leak. Why that is being claimed here I don’t know. There is nothing our company can do concerning the warranty being moved into her name. Once we complete the work, we register the roof through *** and they handle all warranties and inspections. If the warranty was a selling point when *** bought the home then it was between her and the previous owners to get that moved over. The warranty is not generated through us and it is ***’s requirement that the transfer of warranty be done within 60 days. Niki called *** to see if there was anything we could do to help the situation and we were told the exact same thing.

Quality merchandise & excellent workmanship from Master's. I love my newly remodeled bathroom.

I don't recommend even contacting Master's Roofing & Construction for an estimate. They won't schedule you an appointment for an estimate if both homeowner's aren't available at that time. It's hard for some people to understand but one homeowner can gather facts about a project without the other there. We chose not to do business with a company who has this philosophy.

These guys have very poor business and sales practices. They will only give estimates if you agree to a 1-2 hour high pressure sales presentation.
I could be OK with that... and was, but then on top of that, they gladly setup an appointment for me and, after multiple confirmations, decided not to show last minute. They deprioritized me because they decided my job was not large enough. It was a shed roof replacement. They had suggested a main home roof inspection. I thought that was a great idea... I agreed to the appointment. I arranged time off for me and my wife. They confirmed with emails and phone calls.
Then, day of, no show. When I called them they confirmed it was because the shed roof job was too small and they didn't think the main roof should be inspected anymore. Truth is they decided they had better things to do, they overbooked their guys probably, and dropped me with no regard for my time.
Don't give companies like this your business.

Very professional and super friendly from start to finish. No complaints whatsoever. A big THANKS!

This company promised two cruise tickets as part of an incentive program for purchasing a new roof. We never received the cruise tickets despite FOUR telephone calls to their offices. The last telephone call, the woman on the telephone practically laughed at me when I asked why this was such a big deal for them to fulfill.

I filed a complaint with the State Attorney General's office and have still heard nothing from either the AG or from Master's Home Solutions. The roof itself is very well done; I have no quibble with that part of the work. The fraudulent sales tactics are horrible, however, with the false promises leaving a very sour taste in our mouths about this company. I would not recommend this company to anyone because they do not fulfill their obligations.

This is in response to the most recent letter from Mrs.. There was nothing false aboutmy previous statement. As I stated before, there is a process, as with anything and just becauseMrs. doesn't not agree with how the process and timeline works, does not make itfalse.Destination Motivation is a vacation company that we are partnered with. We are able to offerdiscounted travel packages through our relationship with them but we do not handle anythingapart from providing the brochure and the contact number for the company. Nobody justshows up with cruise tickets. |t’s a process of figuring out what the homeowner wants, what isavailable and booking it. None of that is in our hands. As I stated before, everything was mailed out to the ***’s once everything wascompleted. If Mrs. did not receive anything, the thing to do would be to call our of?ceand follow up on the whereabouts of it instead of filing multiple complaints. Our company isneither unprofessional nor indifferent but communicating and working towards a resolutionneeds to be a mutual. Our office has within the last two weeks made several phone calls, sentemails and did reach out to Destination Motivation to see how we could help. A representativefrom their company said they also made attempts to reach Mrs. and have not beenable to.There is unfortunately no resolution I can assist with the process of how things work is notfollowed through with.Sincerely,Christy H

We are rejecting this response because:
The person cited,
Christy H, has apparently been overruled and someone with competence and
authority, Vivian in the finance department of Masters Home Solutions, has
taken charge of resolving this. Today I heard from a Jacob at Destination
Motivation, the vacation fulfillment company, who stated, "Masters Home
Solutions sent me something they thought was the voucher but it was not. I
spoke to them and they said they could not locate the voucher."This is clear evidence
that Ms. H's perceptions and claims are false. If such a voucher existed
since April, it would have existed when Masters Home Solutions was attempting
to send it to the vacation fulfillment company. They could not. At no time
before my complaints to the Revdex.com and State Attorney General's office did Masters
Home Solutions send us ANYTHING, voucher, letter, or otherwise, to back up
their bogus claim about this vacation voucher. We also called the company FOUR
times without satisfaction, which is why we escalated my complaint to outside agencies. The entire experience
has been absolutely horrible customer service. Ms. H's false and nonsensical reply,
including her mangled final sentence, "There is unfortunately no resolution I can assist with the process of how things work is not followed through with," is indicative of this nightmare. We are hopeful that the
situation will be worked out through actual communication between Destination
Motivation and the finance department of Masters Home Solutions. We will amend
our complaint when the company presents a tangible remedy and actually resolves
this matter by supplying the promised cruise voucher.

I have received the voucher.

Many thanks for your help in resolving this issue.

They did a fantastic job! We absolutely love our tub to shower conversion.

We had a roof, siding and gutters done. The professionals who came to perform all three tasks worked quickly, efficiently and answered any questions or concerns. The products that we chose were more than what you would pay at the big box stores but after doing research we knew that they would be long lasting and unlike the other places, they don't prorate your warranty if there's a problem. From the salesperson to office staff and installers, Great job Masters. Our home looks fantastic

Master's Home Solutions completed a new roof installation on my home in One and a half days. It was complicated by black mold on numerous plywood sheets from the original roof. The installers replaced the moldy pieces and expedited airflow problems while treating the attic to prevent future mold. I was completely satisfied with their work.

Master's Home Solutions (MHS) did a complete work-over of my house. They replaced the shingles on my roof, all windows, and the Al siding with new insulated vinil siding. There were couple of minor disagreements regarding the work scope, but in the end we worked out both of them to my satisfaction. I am very pleased with the quality of work. The house looks like its new. Thank you MHS!!!

Product and work ethic was good. End of job proved to be nice. Salesperson said it was a one day job which actually was a 3 day job. Arriving to start the job each day proved to be a challenge but workers stayed late most days and job got done. Workers were friendly and cleaned up after themselves.

All of the employees from the salesman to the installers were very professional. If the installers had a question for us they came and asked first before proceeding. We would definitely hire them again if we need any more work done to our home.

Roof was replaced 2012 due to hail damage. The next it leaked and has was "supposedly fixed. It has been leaking almost every rain storm we get. I called them numerous times and was told that "I was harassing the office staff. They continue to tell me that it is my window that is causing the damage and suggested I get new windows.
I had a roofer look at it on 4/21/19 and the J channel and flashing was put on incorrectly. I am afraid to call because they are mean and will not help. I told them that I had never had a leak in 70 years before they replaced but they refused to listen.

After an inspection by one of our technicians, we did determine that the water is coming in through a gap in a window. The technician did show *** pictures and explain the issue. She was also made aware that we could certainly give her an estimate to install capping or casing on the existing windows or install new windows. Unfortunately such an issue would not be covered under the roof warranty since it is in no way related to the roof installation performed by our company.

they did a great job on our bathroom remodel. better then we expected. very professional, arrived on time and left everything clean. materials are good quality. maybe a little expensive but definitely worth it. would definitely hire company again.

Was pressured into the sale of a roof on our house when we called for only an estimate on a detached garage and shed roof. After agreeing to replacing the house roof we had to convince the salesman to look at the detached garage roof, after looking at it, that was "added in" but was told they would not do the shed. Proposal was re-written, with the detached garage added but that paper disappeared with the salesman. Work began on 3-13-19, was told it was completed on 3-30-19 but I have no paperwork stating "completion". Some wrong color shingles were nailed to our roof and had to be ripped off and replaced with the correct color, this caused damage to the underside of our decking. We were told we have a warranty with them as well as the shingle company. When I contacted the shingle company today, I was told there was no record of receiving any paperwork from Masters. I was told I would receive vacation passes paid for by the shingle company but when I spoke with a representative there, she never heard of such a thing. Where is the "pink" paper the salesman had me sign days later, better yet, what was that paper I signed? There are other issues with this company not related to "contract issues". Financing was not explained properly for this job, workmanship issues as well.

Master's Home Solution Response • May 18, 2019

Our office does not mail out any paperwork stating “completion” but if the customer had requested a paid in full invoice, that certainly could have been provided upon request. Also, if the customer had called the office to request copies of the contract if theirs have been misplaced, we would have obliged immediately.

The warranty was registered with GAF as soon as final payment was made, just as we told Mr. it would be. The letter was printed from GAF back on 04/10/19 and can be confirmed with them. The vacation voucher has nothing to do with the shingle manufacturer, as they are completely separate companies. Again, once final payment was made, the vacation voucher was mailed out. All work has been completed as according to the contract, GAF warranty was registered and the vacation voucher was also mailed. Since our company has completed everything according to the contractual agreement, there was no justification for the discount request.

I am rejecting this response because:

The communication with your company has been bad right from the start. When we finally received the invoice, you tried to overcharge us $1,000 which was our down payment, The finance company rejected the last payment due to this over billing. When we received the warranty paper from GAF it also states the wrong color shingles that you claim that you did not install. We believe the shingle color information has been corrected in GAF's system. Our old roof did not leak, since this process has started we have had quite a bit of rain, and guess what, we have a leak coming in from the bathroom vent pipe. Apparently the boot was not installed properly by your workers.

At this point, it is what it is, you will not be referred by us to anyone. The communication with your company and the work that was done is not satisfactory. I hope you don't ignore your other customers like we were. All the mistakes that were made are unacceptable, its too bad we have had to push so hard to get answers and corrections made.

Thanks for the leak. I'm glad you got your money for a job not well done. As far as I am concerned nothing will make this situation "right" at this point.

Regards

We had a walk-in tub installed for medical purposes. Such an amazing transformation!

No help with warranty

I had signed a contract with Masters to put a shingle roof with a 50 year warranty and gutters on my house and gave them a $1000 deposit. When I talked to my neighbor, he indicated that he thought part of my roof was not pitched enough for a shingle roof. I had another roofer come out, and he told me the same thing. So I tried to talk to Masters about it and they insisted that it was a 2/ 12 pitch and could be shingled. I tried to cancel the project and they threatened to sue me. So I called the other roofer and he insisted that the roof was only a 1.6/ 12 pitch and would void the shingle warranty. He advised me to download a pitch meter onto my phone, and I did so. My roof was a 1.6/ 12 pitch. I called GAF roofing manufacturer and they confirmed that they would not warrant the roof. I called Masters again, told them they were getting ready to put the wrong roof on my house. So they finally came out to check the pitch. The person who came out verified that I was correct and proceeded to sell my a self sticking rolled roof solution. I asked about the warranty and he said it was 25 years. I considered it and decided that I didn't want to have to put another roof on in 25 years or less. So, since they could not deliver the roof in the contract, I was able to cancel the contract and I did so. I also asked for my deposit back. I didn't hear anything from them until a check came for $500. I called them and asked where the rest of my deposit was. They said that they are keeping $500 because they had sent someone to my house to measure the roof. In my opinion, since they could not deliver the roof they promised and almost put a roof on that wasn't designed for my roof, I should get all of my money back.

To Whom It May Concern:Mr. *** did sign a contract with us. As according to the contract, we received a $1,000 deposit check as well as $5,490 from our third bank finance company. Everything could have been completed us according the contract, but Mr. changed his mind after the 3 day “Right to Rescission”. Since he tried to cancel after the rescission, we had already incurred numerous costs-admin fees, sending out our measure tech, and charging and then refunding the finance credit card deposit. Per our standard procedures, we usually keep the entire deposit, but generously gave him half of it back. Again, he did not cancel within the legal, 3-day rescission, and therefore we are not refunding him the remaining $500.Master's Home Solutions

I am rejecting this response because: they are not stating the truth about being able to fulfill the contract as written. They did not do their due diligence to ensure the roof had enough pitch to put on a shingle roof. In fact, I called GAF and consulted with them and they said that the shingle roof would not be covered by their warranty. And if I had not found out that my roof wasn't pitched enough, I would have a roof that would not be covered as they were going to install that roof. Once I was proved correct, they tried to sell me a roof that would only last half as long and cost me the same amount of money. It WAS NOT my responsibility to ensure they did their due diligence in ensuring they sold me the correct product. Therefore, I am due the refund because they could NOT fulfill the contract as written. Thank you
