"Try this for free, just pay to ship." I was billed $14 for shipping. Ten days later, $171 was taken from my account. When I requested to have the account canceled and my money refunded, I was told they don't give refunds and was promptly hung up on. I called back today, two weeks later, to ask if there are no refunds, they have the $171, where's the product? I was told the original product I received is what I'm getting. When I said, "You're telling me two bottles containing 60 supplements in each bottle cost $200'" I was told, "Yes," in a very sharp and nasty manner. There was never, at any time, a contract signed and never permission given to touch my bank account outside of the first shipment. There was nothing that suggested additional monies would be taken from me. I was told because I did not contact them after 10 days to cancel, another delivery would be made. There has been no delivery and they still have my money.

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) I want my money back.

billed for a supply that I was told was FREE month (just pay shipping). There is no info on their site saying otherwise and they refuse to refund
I ordered a 14 day TRIAL of Maxfit. It was advertised that we "just pay shipping". I was offered a supply of COLOFIT DETOX by a pop up on the site and could not decline. When you take down the pop up, it automatically charges you. I had to call them to remove that. I checked carefully to be sure there were NO hidden charges and saw NOTHING. Today I was charged $87 and when I called them I was treated horribly. I was told it was because I didnt cancel but I never saw anything about cancelling when I ordered. They said it was in the terms and conditions. I never saw any terms and conditions. I was told we should have scrolled to the bottom of the web page to read them ( in tiny grey writing at the VERY bottom). I cancelled the subscription I never agreed to and asked for a refund of the $87. I was told they could give me back 25% of it. I declined asking why was I paying for something im not going to receive? I was told it was to pay for the TRIAL which I already received that was advertised for shipping only. When I told them I would dispute as unauthorized they told me then I get NOTHING. When I mentioned the Revdex.com, she laughed at me and said I would be paying for the investigation and still get nothing. Then she offered me a 30% refund. I declined again and decided to dispute and report to the Revdex.com. I was appalled to see that this has happened MULTIPLE times with MANY people. This site is a SCAM. It does NOT clearly state that you are paying for that Trial bottle at $87 unless you call and cancel a membership you never knew you signed up for and they refuse to assist you when you call to complain about it. They make threats and laugh at you, instead.

Desired Outcome

I would like a FULL refund of $87 due to the facts that I was not well informed that i would be billed such for a product i thought i was paying " shipping only" for..... as well as that i have cancelled any further shipments and will not be receiving anything from this company. I also feel they should evaluate their methods of customer service and sales to remove any misconceptions. If SO MANY people are being misguided, then this is a major issue that needs fixed.

We have thousands of very satisfied customers. We suggest that this customer reads what she is signing up for when a product advertises as a trial. All trial offers must have, and agreed to, a specific trial time period.

We apologize for any inconvenience and hope this matter is now resolved, since the customer has been refunded for the transaction in question Sincerely, Customer Support.

Yes they are definite CROOKS. I too ordered what they called trail or sample - thought I was paying postage. Received two bottles one that I did not even request Colon Cleanse and guess what four days later they placed an 84. dollar charge on my credit card and an 87. charge on my credit card A total of $171.00.... I have not even opened mine, called my bank to dispute, also call the numbers got some trained monkey who repeated over and over, that I did not cancel my order, that they do not have a return policy. I kept asking for an address she would not give it to me. CROOKS. I am trying to find an address now and I am going to return the un-used products, not opened and better receive a refund. I am going to an attorney with this. There is no excuse for crooks like this to be on the net. If anyone knows of an address I can return this junk to, please let me know today. Thanks

Hidden & not easily found agreement terms when ordering & they bet on that.
Ordered 14 day trial of MaxFit Garcina Cambogia 12/11/17. Rec'd order 12/20/2017 the only thing in the box was the bottle of Maxfit Garcina & a slip stating what was in box. No instructions on how to use the product, what to do if you do not like the product, nothing that stated you needed to call & cancel any future orders - nothing. I got extremely ill with the flu but I continued taking product & never lost one pound. I had no reason to be checking my bank account since I had not been using it, but once I was better & I did on 1/17/18, I saw an $87.00 charge on 12/27/17! That is only an actual 7 day trial from the receipt date. I called MaxFit at 1/17/18 8:28am (11:25 mins) & I told the rep that I wanted that charge reversed, that I did not authorize the charge & that the product did not work. He asked me how I was using the product & I said per your instructions on the site where I ordered. He then said that this product prevents fat production, reduces emotional eating & decreased body fat, I informed in that he can't make that statement, that he can only say that it might/may help. he said just a minute and put me on hold. He came back and said we are prepared to offer you 50% off your monthly order for the next year. I said why would I want something that does not work. I said there was nothing in the box that stated how to use the product & nothing that stated I had to cancel any future orders by a specific date & on top of that it took 9 days to receive the order & you charged me $87.00 only 7 days after I got the order. I told him to credit my account the entire $87.00 & he said he could not do that because I did not cancel in time. I reiterated that they started to charge me 7 days after I got the order, that I didn't even had any time to try 14 days of product. I said how can you charge me $87 on 12/27/17 and as of 1/17/18 not ship another order out? I said this is a scam. He argued with me & said the product does work & does what it claims. I told him it did not work & to refund my $87.00 & that I was going to report them to the Attorney General's Consumer Protection Complaint Dept. & I hung up on him. At 1/17/18 8:42am (0:18 secs) The man had the nerve to call me back & he said I think we got disconnected. I said no we didn't get disconnected, I told you what I wanted, I wanted an $87 refund & that I was done with the conversation & I am reporting you to the Consumer Protection Complaint Dept. I immediately called my credit union & reported the unauthorized charge & they were filing a report. As of 1/20/18 I have not been credited my $87.00, but I did receive an email from Maxfit stating any future shipments are cancelled. I went online & did a faux order to find any agreement & their agreement terms are not on the sign up page or their order page, but I did finally find the agreement link in extremely small print on another page. All terms should be clearly shown on the sign up page & not hidden in a tiny link & they should also have to provide product use instructions & return process information. They provided none of this in the package.

Desired Outcome

The resolution would be to have my account credited $87.00

Dear ***,

We recently received your complaint #XXXXXXXX regarding your account. We take complaints very seriously and we hope this response will provide you with additional information. According to our records, we received your order on December 11, 2017.

The terms of the offer that you agreed to at the time of your order clearly state that you were to have a 14 day trial period starting from the date that the order was placed, in which you could cancel your account to avoid further charges. They also indicate that "you must take affirmative action to avoid further charges or you will be charged in the amount of $87.00 for the MaxFit Garcinia fourteen days from the date that the order was placed for the product(s)."

These terms were presented to you in multiple places on our website when you ordered our product. Additionally, you were sent an order confirmation email after your order was completed that provided a full written version of the terms you agreed to.

When you ordered the product you also clicked a button indicating that you agreed to the terms of the offer. When a customer clicks that button we must assume that they have actually read what they are agreeing to. If there was any confusion with the terms you could have called our customer service team and they would have been happy to assist you.

Since we did not hear from you during your trial period, you were charged $87.00 on December 26, 2017.

According to our records the first contact we had requesting the cancellation of your account was on January 17, 2018 when you cancelled with a representative. Your account was immediately cancelled and you have not received any shipments or charges since then.

As a courtesy today, we have provided you with a 100% refund on your most recent charge. You were refunded $87.00 Trans ID: XXXXXXXXXX. Please allow 3-5 business days to reflect back into your account.

Go to https://www.maxfitgarcia.net. No visible terms on sign up page. Terms is at bottom in grey print which is hard to see. You have to click terms & pop up becomes invisible. It reads 11 day trial period plus 4 day for shipping equal 15 days.

As stated in ordered 12/11/17. it took 9 days to be delivered - Rec'd 12/20/17. I had already had breakfast & Lunch that day & I started 12/21/17. They billed $87.00 on they say 12/26/17. That is only a 5 day trial. I then came down w/severe flu & was bed ridden for a couple of weeks. Documented at Dr. office. On the complete ck put page; no mention of trial specifies hidden below in another link. I am forward the order conformation email. There is no terms or conditions mentioned on that email as they claim.
All I want is my money back & I received that.
But I also want their lies to stop so others do not fall victim to this hidden scam.

*9 day shipping + 5 day trial period should void this so called contract since it violated their own terms of 4 day shipping + 11 day trial period.
Thank you

This website is the biggest mistake you could ever make. They will rob you of hundreds of dollars even will canceling the product. They will throw in your face their "policy" and it is hidden so you don't feel the need to read it. This whole thing is a fraud and only made so they can rob people of money. I canceled my product and got NOTHING and they took $87 and $84 from me and refused to give it back and two different people hung up on me. Company is a fraud.

Desired Outcome

I want a refund of $87 and $84 back to my account.

When I purchased this product on Dec-6, the advertisement did not say anything about a "trial". It said that I could try it free for just the cost of shipping. On Dec.21st, an additional $87 was taken out of my account. I contacted their customer service right away and the person hung up on me when I explained that I never gave anyone permission to take that money out of my account. I went to my bank and we called them again and I was told that it was stated in the terms & conditions, if I didn't contact them within 7 days then the full price would be taken out. They said that by law that's all they have to say. I told them that wasn't right and that they misrepresented their product. I would have never initiated the purchase if I knew it was a trial. This company is a scam and they don't have good customer service.

When you purchase this product they say it's a "trial" and unless you ask for a refund in 14 days, they will charge you $84 for it. IT IS NOT A TRIAL.

YOU WILL PAY FULL PRICE FOR THIS PRODUCT. YOU CAN BUY THIS PRODUCT FOR 6.95 ON OTHER SITES. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU THE "FULL PRICE" AND THEIR FULL PRICES IS $84. THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL SCAM. YOU CANNOT GET ANYWHERE WITH THEM ON THE PHONE.

Desired Outcome

TRIED CALLING TWICE. THEY WILL RESOLVE NOTHING

The whole selling procedure is a sham. Nothing is stated "clearly". They charged me shipping of $13.95 for both products. I found a site that sells this product for $6.95 when Maxfit Garcinia is selling their product as a "free trial" and if you don't send it back they charge you $87. This is criminal. Here is the website that is charging $6.95 for the exact same bottle.

Your account remains canceled and you will not receive any further shipments or charges. I hope this resolves your concern today and I hope you have a good day!

Like the other reviews, I believe this company is a scam and they have charged me twice $87 which I did not authorize. I have emailed them and am waiting to hear back. This company misleads people and makes it extremely difficult to resolve issues.

I too was involved with the Max Fit Garcinia scam... directed by a short cider vinegar video to a website that described the garcinia product in detail, took my info, and directed me to order here... for only the shipping charges... I proceeded to order and then another product appeared but I could not escape it so I tried to click continue under the picture but now that product was ordered (another shipping charge)... I tried to go back a page and saw in tiny print in light gray at the bottom of the page where I could have declined this order... then I realized there was a terms and conditions tab at the bottom of the first page, which I failed to read -- but they did not have me click on any 'accept' terms and agreement.... so at this point I immediately tried to call the customer service number ON THIS PAGE and was told that I must have dialed a wrong number because they do not have my account (my bank account was already charged within 3 minutes) and they are not the only ones selling the Garcinia Cambogia... I reminded her I was staring at the page I ordered from and this was indeed the number to call! She told me I had to contact my bank to fix this as they have no account for me... She was rude and told me I could do what I want. Now I have to inform my bank and hopefully not put a stop payment (at a cost to me)... I feel like such an it.

Fraudulent activity, was charged for other products that were not ordered, and site was disguised as an Amazon site.
Was sent a survey via my email account to complete under an Amazon logo with the promise of a discounted price for a product of my choice. Completed the survey, ordered one product, and was charge for several other products. Was sent a fraud alert from my credit card company, and order was cancelled. I had to get a new credit card. Later that day, I was sent another survey, via email with a Wal-Mart Logo on it. Obviously I deleted it at that time. They have a customer service line that is 888-592-5549 which I called, and was told that this particular answering service provides assistance to many companies however, was able to get the current address from the company that had placed a charged to my account

Desired Outcome

This particular company was able to deceive me, and many others into believing they were affiliated with a particular company such as Amazon. Then, were able to hack into my credit card, and create other charges. Their advertising and charges were fraudulent. I would like them to be stopped somehow before they do this to someone else. Not looking for retribution, just cessation of their practices.

A month later I received a 2nd bottle (mind you I did not authorize the initial one) Still paid no mind to it and pushed it aside. I just received a 3rd bottle, I was doing may banking and saw a weird charge for $82.90, I called a to find out it was them charging my debit card for the past 3 months. I asked for manager about 8x and they refused. I WANT MY MONEY BACK 3 MOMTHS AT $82.90 is $248.70!!

Desired Outcome

I want a full refund. They can have the 3 bottles they have sent me back, but I want my money!

This so called company maxfit garcinia is a SCAM they sent me my "free trial" also with an extra colon cleanser I did not order, I paid the shipping and handling. I tried the products which did not work and thought that was it waste of $12.00, but then I received my credit card statement which had TWO charges I did not make one for $87.00 and one for $84.00. I emailed their so call customer service and was told it was in the contract!?! They will not refund anything and were not a help at all. I told them to destroy my information and refund the amounts they did not have permission to charge. They closed my "account" that I never made but will not refund anything! This is a SCAM please do not fall for their underhanded ways!!! My review of them would be NEGATIVE 5.

This company only advertise for a trial in the amount of $6.95 after that they start charging every month an authorized amount of $87and $84
The company falsely advertised a trial for max fit garcinia then they offer an additional colon cleanse that you don't have the option of not getting so they charge you another $6.95 that is not authorized then a month later they charge you$87 and another $84 for both of the products without any kind of email notice you can't reply to there emails because they are no reply emails making it very hard to contact them or cancel the product. They also refuse to refund your money even though this product does not work. In addition they charged me a second time for $87 and $84 for the same products but I never received the products the company offered to give me a 30% refund in the amount of $25.20 Even though they charged me in total $355.90 for one trial bottle of the garcinia and one trial of the colon cleanse which I never wanted in the first place.

Desired Outcome

Full refund of all my money and no more false advertising online

This company advertises 30-day FREE trial. After 14 days, I was charged $88.00 for the FREE trial I was given. When I called to complain and explain what FREE meant, the first person hung up on me. The second time I called, I was offered a 30% refund to resolve this issue. When I said NO, I was offered a 50% refund. When I said NO, that I was going to contact the person from Shark Tank to agreed to finance this company, I was offered a full refund. The customer service person told me I would receive a full refund if I returned the unopened bottle. Really? I opened it and have been trying my FREE trial for 14 days. BTW, I have seen no benefit after 14 days.

Desired Outcome

Full refund.

We recently received your complaint #XXXXXXXX from the Revdex.com regarding your Max Fit Garcinia account. We take complaints very seriously and we hope this response will provide you with additional information. According to our records, we received your order on November 09, 2017.

The terms of the offer that you agreed to at the time of your order clearly state that you were to have a 14 day trial period starting from the date your order was placed. You have that time to evaluate the product and contact us to cancel your account to avoid further charges. They also indicate that "you must take affirmative action to avoid further charges or you will be charged in the amount of $87.00 fourteen days from the date of your order processing for the product."

I ordered this product from jadegarcinia on 11/06/17. It was a free trial for 30 days, and was 6.95 for shipping and handling. I received the product PLUS another product, which I did not order, with the shipment. My debit card was charged 6.90 on 11/6/17 by LITTLELOVECLEANSE AZ 855-831-0407 and then on 11/8/17 another charge of 6.95 by MGV*JADEGARCINIA AZ 855-837-3516. I only ordered ONE product MaxFit Garcinia. The first charge was for a product I didn't order called Colofit Detox. I received the products together in a box with no receipt or packing information inside, no explanation why I received TWO products, or any information at all on 11/18/17. Two days after receiving these bottles, on 11/21/17 I received a text message from my banks FRAUD ALERT Dept., advising that LITTLELOVECLEANSE AZ 855-831-0407 had charged my debit card again, and my bank alerted me as this company is on their watch list. My bank provided me the number and I called to inquire why my card was charged 84.00 two days after I had received this shipment, without my authorization. I didn't even have a chance to TRY the product! I was told that I had agreed to the charges and they had proof, and that if I attempted to dispute these charges, I would lose. All this before I even mentioned disputing the charges!! How defensive are these SCAMMERS? When I advised this customer service woman that my banks fraud department had contacted me, and that I had not authorized any additional charges, she said she could refund 30% as a "good will gesture". When I told them my banks fraud department would handle this, she upped the refund offer to 50%. I told them what they did was illegal and fraudulent, I was put on hold while she "checked with a supervisor to see what they could do". At this point I hung up, called my bank and they processed the dispute. They had to cancel my debit card, so no further charges could be processed, so there is that added inconvenience. I hung up from the bank and the customer service lady I hung up on called me back...saying we got disconnected, and they were happy to let me know they could issue me a one time refund of the 84.00 they had charged my account fraudulently. Yeah. I was stupid. I know better, and got bit by this scam. Don't be scammed by this company. Not FDA approved. Can't review the product itself, but based on the business practices of this company JADE GARCINIA and LITTLELOVECLEANSE (I have no idea who they are). The only thing you have to lose is the security of your bank account. BEWARE

The company advertises a 100% FREE Trial then attempts to charge large fees two weeks later without authorization.
I am providing a copy of the email I sent to the company on November 15, 2017 to the email address ***@***.com as it explains the entire complaint.

RE: Order *** October 31, 2017Fraudulent Business Practices

Customer Support:

On October 31, 2017, I accepted the 100% FREE Trial that indicated I was required to pay shipping only. I authorized the shipping charge of $6.95 for MaxFit Garcinia, and immediately the site "suggested" I get the ColoFit Detox. I had no option to opt out. Therefore I was charged an additional shipping charge of $6.90 for a total of $13.85.

When I received the Order Confirmation via email, the summary stated I would receive one bottle of MaxFit Garcinia for no charge and one bottle of ColoFit Detox for no chargeit documented that I would be charged a total of $13.85 for shipping. There was no fine print, no indication of any other charge whatsoever, nor any indication of additional charges when I was on the site. Had something been stated in a clear manner where it could be seen, I would not have placed the order.

Further, when I received the order, there was no invoice or return information or any other information included in the package.

On November 15, 2017, I was notified by my bank that your company and an affiliate of your company were trying to make charges to my account, one for $84.00 and one for $87.00. I never authorized either of these purchases. I am writing to make it clear that you never had my authorization beyond the $13.85 and you do not have my authorization to access my account or charge me for any product. This fraudulent business practice is unethical and unacceptable.

Thankfully, my bank blocked one of the charges and refunded the other. In addition, I have canceled the card I used. Please remove all
of my information from your records and do not try to charge me again.

Desired Outcome

Confirmation by the business that they fraudulently attempted to collect unauthorized payments from me, and they are removing all of my information from their records and will not attempt to further commit fraud.

Since we did not hear from you during your trial period, you were charged for the initial product you received.

According to our records the first contact we had was on November 25, 2017 when we received notification, you have contacted your credit card company and initiated a chargeback for the full charge. Because of the chargeback, we cannot issue you a credit at this time because you would then end up getting a credit twice for those purchases.

Your account was immediately cancelled and you have not received any shipments or charges since then.

I am sorry I am not able to help more I hope you have a great day!

Customer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
What the company states in its response is not true. The order confirmation email did not provide a full written version of terms--it only confirmed the product order. Also, if there are offer terms on the site, they are not clear and the consumer is not given time to read anything on the site once he or she clicks on the offer.

However, this issue has been resolved because I received an email from them at the end of November stating they have canceled the orders.

Max Fit Garcinia Response

MaxFit Garcinia advertises a free trial of the 60 count garcinia cambogia capsules for the price of shipping which is $6.95.
on October 25, 2017, I purchased MaxFit Garcinia garcinia cambogia through their website. The advertisement stated that it was a free trial for the price of shipping which was $6.95. There was no disclosure about the trial being for a certain period of time or that I would be charged at a later date.

On November 9, 2017, I was charged $87.00. When I called the company, I was told that it was a 14 day trial, and the agent stated that I must have missed the details. I assured him that I did not miss the details; they simply were not disclosed. If they had been disclosed, I would not have ordered the product because I could get the same product from multiple sellers for around $20.

I made the initial payment via PayPal, and the company also charged my PayPal card the additional $87.00.

Desired Outcome

I want the company to refund the $87.00.

Customer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
No, I do not accept the company's response because I was not aware that there were any conditions other than the one that was clearly stated which was that the product was a free trial except for the cost of shipping. I was not instructed, nor did I know to go anywhere else on the website to get any other information about the offer.

I asked PayPal for a chargeback because I thought the additional charge of $87.00 was unfair and misleading. I did receive the $87.00 from PayPal until the case was resolved, so that chargeback is dependent upon the outcome of the issue.

As long as the company does not try to say that I knew about the additional terms, I am fine; therefore, PayPal will allow me to keep the $87.00 I feel I am owed. I am not looking to be reimbursed twice. I am only looking to keep the refund I was issued.
