We in Max Moving and Storage take care of every customer as a V.I.P customer and our record speak for itselfThe customer regarding this claim notified us about some scratches on the hardwood floorMultiple times we requested to get a quote from professionals of how much it would
cost to fix it and we even gave the customer phone numbers and info to have someone give us a hard copy of an estimate, one of the person we sent estimated it at $100.00-$140.00.The customer never found time or got us any estimate for how much it would cost or for few months and at the end we decided to provide the customer sum of $even though it would have cost a lot less to fix itWe sent her a check and because of a technical issue and a suspicious fraudulent activity on the company's account it was returned and we are sorry for thatA new payment was already sent to the customer

The Max storage called me after my complaint in April, and agree to pay me, however, they only paid $returned check fee, because I deposit the check they sent to me which eventually returned by the bankThey didn't pay me the money they agreed for fixing my piano and floor which I already paid by myselfMoreover, what they response to my previous complaint is not true, I provide the receipt for fixing the piano last September right after I fix it, and called them again and again to get the refundThey have tons a reason can not refund me

I booked Max Moving and Storage several months in advanceI remained in contact with the owner, Guy during those months in preparation of the moveAll required payments were made timely and everything was set or the move, so we thoughtI lived in a secured condominium building which had elevatorsAll residents were required to reserve the freight elevator by paying a deposit and scheduling the moveOn the days leading up the move, we were advised of the time that the move would take place (10am-12pm) so I paid the deposit and scheduled the move with the building managementThe condo also required proof of insurance for the moving company to be provided and provided me with moving guidelines for the building to be provided to the moving companyI emailed the guidelines which included the time moving could take place (9am-5pm) and requested the insurance certificate to be sentOn the day of the move, I waited hours before hearing from Guy and it was regarding a signature for the credit card we used to pay, not the moveAt that time, (it was 3pm) I asked what time would the movers arriveI was told that the previous move took a long time but that they'd be there in about an hourI reminded him of the moving guidelines and that the move must be complete by 5pm otherwise I'd be charged a feeGuy began to yell and scream that he wasn't paying a fee and that I should've told him about the time requirement for the buildingHe continued to yell and scream to the point that he hung up on meI called him back and simply asked if and when they would arrive and told him that their lateness was unprofessional (it was 4pm and hours late), he started yelling again and said that he would refund me my money and to find another moverTHE DAY OF THE MOVE! This story is only the tip of the iceberg with this nightmare so beware Max Moving is the most unprofessional, inefficient, UNINSURED (certificate was a fake) company I've ever worked withUPDATE: A month after the move was complete, I received a phone call from the owner Guy As soon as I answered, he (yelling) said that he was going to sue me for writing a review (the abovementioned review) on another site I explained to him that I was contacted by that site to write a review of my experience and that's what I shared I explained to him that consumers have the right to be aware of others' experiences with businesses Guy continued to yell and state that I had no right to mention anything about his company's insurance Again, I only shared my truthful experience of which was no prohibited by the contract via any non-disparagement clausesThis is just another example of the level of unprofessionalism of this company and its owner especially! He is a verbally abusive and extremely unstable person Not a good businessman or business to work with at all Even once it's over, it's not over You've been warned!

This is a customer of a company that we do serviced for, My name is *** and I was not the driver, I am the manager. We scheduled to deliver the items with the customer on May 8th 12:pm.On the same day he notified that he would not be ready till may 12th, so obviously we cant stay days
around the area so we took it back to our facility.regular delivery can take up to business days, and by today June 2nd it was still didn't expire, nevertheless by contract we could charge re-delivery fee and we would not do that no matter what.We did not refuse delivery, customer was not ready to accept shipment and no one said items can't be reached or was rude to any one Delivery would take place within regular time frame

This customer received delivery from us a year ago, most items were in good condition and the fact she signed a waiver and did not want to purchase special packing most likely contributed to some items damaged.Still, because she purchased a policy from a third party insurance provider, she was
offered amount based on policy purchased. We have no control over the insurance settlement offer, the procedures or what she was able to receive, the fact she is not happy with what insurance provider gave her is beyond our control and should only be addressed to the insurance provide

My furniture was finally delivered. However, I am still missing an box, which has been noted on Bill of Lading. My complaint was always the lack of communication from the owner of Max's Moving and storage. Instead of be argumentative, he should of informed me of the status (ie location) of my household good, instead of "on a the interstate in PA". It is in my right to be informed when asked the name of the driver and the vehicle location. All I received was, "I have done nothing wrong". Yes, I have received my furniture. But max's Moving and storage was found in violation of code and I would like an apology from the owner for his attitude towards me.

We in Max Moving strive to excellent service, our lower amount of complaints speaks for itself (1 in the past 3 years), The claims of this customer are nothing but false, there was no lack of communication as the fact is that the customer had the driver phone number for the past week and...

conversing with the driver about the delivery time, there was no late delivery that was taking place, and the customer was not ready for delivery asap and actually was not even a part of any conversation before pickup about how the delivery time frame works as it is all done with here husband, for example, the customer exact words for that were: "I don't care what you told my husband, I am filing a claim and calling police". The customer presented extreme behavior of nothing but what can be reflects as the exact opposite of good faith and all done out of pure spite and vengeful reasons, she called police and filed untrue claim, contacted the federal government and did the same, and also continue and looked for any other reason to just file complaints which are all not true and all unsupported by the contract, the customer called us with threats, left numerous harsh voice messages and actually now filed complaint without the Revdex.com which again doesn't have any base, for the record, even the police and the federal government told us not to respond to this customer and found no wrong in the moving process.

Most of my furniture was damaged because it was not blanket wrapped and handled with care.  I rejected crating of only a glass coffee table 1/2 thick glass which was broken in half because it wasn't blanket wrapped or handled properly...it had been moved before with no issues.  I have boxes/ bags still missing...how did this happen...  Most of the things in the boxes are almost new.The fact that the insurance settlement was not to my liking does not dismiss the fact that I had leg broken off a table, tables gouged, dressers scraped and gouged, desk chipped...  Please read other reviews of this company from people who had similar experience.  I paid to have my furniture blanket wrapped, that's what the contract said.  They tried to charge me for tape and told me to pay $[redacted] extra cause I was over weight...I was in fact underweight...complete lies...I told them I wasn't paying a penny more.   They did not present me with The Moving Guide  they were required to by law as well.   I had $[redacted] worth of loss and damage....they call that most of my things arrived well.  If necessary I will forward you photos and claim forms

[It makes no sense why I would intentionally decline my own household goods from being delivered except the fact that I was in a hotel as previously stated and did not have an apartment to receive the furniture. This is the point [redacted] called me and I specifically asked for him to drop off my delivery at a local storage unit so I would not deal with this exact issue and he told me that "the stuff was at the front of the truck and he couldn't get it" before hanging up. The fact that I denied the shipment on the 12th is untrue because I moved into my apartment that day and have a signed contract to prove it. Moving companies cannot force customers to take their goods if they are still residing in a hotel or other non-permanent means. Thus the reason I asked for local storage. And Yes, he was rude and unprofessional. Barbara, the supervisor at [redacted] in [redacted] will also contest to this. Her number is [redacted] and she spoke to me and said [redacted] was rude and made a comment that he may never deliver it or will get to it when he feels like it. He has several complaints and needs to be terminated. I am concerned that my household goods will be completely damaged when I eventually receive them and I will have no choice but to hire an attorney to handle this negative experience.]

I was suppose to receive my shippmet from Virginia to Florida in 2 to 3 days. It was 16 days before I received my household goods. They arrived to delivery the shippment at 9:45 PM (night). Items were broken, my box spring was wet (and I had it in plastic mattress covers) table broke, boxes crushed, and of course multiple items broken.

Review: Max moving and storage helped me moving last August, they damaged my piano and wood floor during delivery. I have to called the piano and floor company to fix them, and argue with the Max moving and storage again and again to get refund. Eventually, they agree to pay the cost of fixing those stuff, and send me the check in this March. That was half year after I move.

However, the story didn't end after I received the check. It was returned after I deposit into my bank, because there is no sufficient fund in there. I was not only didn't get the refund, but also charged for the returned check by the bank.Desired Settlement: Pay me.

Regards,

We were impressed with the time and the care packers put into wrapping our things. Unpackers were efficient and on time. We over estimated our weight and were pleasantly surprised by the final price.

I booked Max Moving and Storage several months in advance. I remained in contact with the owner, Guy during those months in preparation of the move. All required payments were made timely and everything was set or the move, so we thought. I lived in a secured condominium building which had elevators. All residents were required to reserve the freight elevator by paying a deposit and scheduling the move. On the days leading up the move, we were advised of the time that the move would take place (10am-12pm) so I paid the deposit and scheduled the move with the building management. The condo also required proof of insurance for the moving company to be provided and provided me with moving guidelines for the building to be provided to the moving company. I emailed the guidelines which included the time moving could take place (9am-5pm) and requested the insurance certificate to be sent. On the day of the move, I waited 5 hours before hearing from Guy and it was regarding a signature for the credit card we used to pay, not the move. At that time, (it was 3pm) I asked what time would the movers arrive. I was told that the previous move took a long time but that they'd be there in about an hour. I reminded him of the moving guidelines and that the move must be complete by 5pm otherwise I'd be charged a fee. Guy began to yell and scream that he wasn't paying a fee and that I should've told him about the time requirement for the building. He continued to yell and scream to the point that he hung up on me. I called him back and simply asked if and when they would arrive and told him that their lateness was unprofessional (it was 4pm and 6 hours late), he started yelling again and said that he would refund me my money and to find another mover. THE DAY OF THE MOVE! This story is only the tip of the iceberg with this nightmare so beware. Max Moving is the most unprofessional, inefficient, UNINSURED (certificate was a fake) company I've ever worked with.
UPDATE: A month after the move was complete, I received a phone call from the owner Guy. As soon as I answered, he (yelling) said that he was going to sue me for writing a review (the abovementioned review) on another site. I explained to him that I was contacted by that site to write a review of my experience and that's what I shared. I explained to him that consumers have the right to be aware of others' experiences with businesses. Guy continued to yell and state that I had no right to mention anything about his company's insurance. Again, I only shared my truthful experience of which was no prohibited by the contract via any non-disparagement clauses. This is just another example of the level of unprofessionalism of this company and its owner especially! He is a verbally abusive and extremely unstable person.
