Since system installed, have had issues with it.
poor quality install, not functioning as advertised or what we paid for.

12.1kw system not producing what it should.
have mentioned it to company for over 2years
system has had a `meter issue` error and it has never been fixed

Now, we started smelling something burning for days, after a thunderstorm a mini fire started in our breaker box, got a second opinion for electrician and was told the solar work is very shotty and needs to be corrected asap, I called the company and have been ignored for a week. they are not interested in getting it fixed or correcting original issues with system

Desired Outcome

Need the system to output what we paid over $50,000 to do, we paid for a 12.1kw system we're getting much much less and to fix issue with solar cables, which they say is not covered by warranty

Armando G., called us back and was very apologetic and came everyday until the issue was resolved.

we still have a meter issue warning on the system but I watched him configure it with the manufacturer on the line and he has set to monitor our system until it is corrected.

I did end up paying to fix the cabling with a certified electrician and then the solar piece was corrected.

Maximo Solar told us upon installation that the cost to remove and replace was a total of $2000, Now they want $9000.
Maximo Solar sold us solar panels for our roof approx. 1-1.5 yrs ago. Prior to installation we asked about the cost to remove and replace the panels as we were aware that our roof may need to be replaced. We were told that the cost was $2000 total to take them down and put them back up. We decided to move forward and have them installed. The installation/activation took over 1 year. By the time the panels were activated we had to tarp our roof. We are now ready to replace the roof. We called Maximo to schedule removal of the panels and are now told the cost is $10,000!! They offered a 10% discount! We shared what we were told when we purchased the panels and they asked if we had it in writing - which we don't. We also don't have in writing their new cost of $10,000!!!! we would like them to honor what we were told when we purchased them as we would not have done so had we known this $10,000 fee!

Desired Outcome

We are looking for Maximo to keep their word and remove and replace our panels for $2000 total as they previously said ASAP.

We have provided and discussed various options with client and they have refused first and second reasonable offers.

It is important to understand that original solar contract has been fulfilled 100%. Client is requesting a quote for service on his project nearly two years after, he has requested quotes and hasn't agree with pricing.

It our best interest to serve them as our clients as we serve thousands of our clients and accounts. But its important to recognize that all instalations regardless of the nature will require quotes for services.

We have the best interest to serve their needs as soon as they agree with service quote.

What they discussed with us was that they would do the job for $7000. That is still not acceptable to us. As we were told when we put the panels up that the cost would be $2000 total. They did not tell us to put it in writing and they did not put it in writing for us at the time. We trusted their word. They knew we were in process of getting quotes for a roof. We would not have put the panels up at the time had we known the cost.

Maximo Solar Industries is committed to serve all of our clients as we currently do. As stated on the previous email no removal was included in the original contract and we never offered this service in original contract. Our compliance and procedure are very structured and are based on contractual work. Again, for us to serve the needs after installation is complete we would require a Service Quote.

If you agree with the Service Quote provided please contact us to proceed.

At this point there is no further proceeding without accepting a quote.

This is the worst solar company they lie to costumers,not compliance with warranty. I still waiting for the electrician to show his face in my house since November 23 2019.my house electricity still flickering and also I have partial electricity inside the house.In December the supervisor told after I called him that he is going to send another electrician I still waiting. Can I call this poor costumer service,they don't return the calls.Solar panels installed 14 .five goes to charge the Tesla battery. I'm been paying for the 7 months 300 to 400 dollars a month.Im sorry no more.I not recommended this company.

Worst company to deal with. They take your money ($40,000.00) and if panels stop working after 2 months they have 100 excuses for not fixing. Can't find parts, have no workers available to work, everything in the book, but to come and fix the items they sold you..I would not recommend this company to my enemies..That's how bad they are.

Well, they came to repair system, but our bill for this Month is still at $147.00..The system is not working. We paid $40,000.00 for this and we got two Months of $28. and $23.00 electric bill..After the 2nd Month every thing is $140.00 and $130.00 per Month the system was put into work in Jan 2019. We got two good Months and then it stoped working...This is the worst company in the World...They were here to sell the system and got there money from our Bank and then don't answer our e mails and have not fixed it ....can we take them to small claims court? Because this situation is not what we paid for.

They made fraudulent claims and promises and failed to deliver on any of their promises.
Maximo Solar Corp sold and installed solar panels on my home that have not delivered on the premise of big saving and lower bills The panels do not seem to be working to their full capacity. My electric bills seem to be higher than they were before the installation of the panels. I am legally blind and not fluent in the English Language. The paperwork and contracts were translated and read to me by the salesmen. Many fraudulent claims were made and failed to deliver on any of them, but they were quick to sign me up for the panels. They promised a battery back-up and it was never delivered nor installed. I am diabetic and a big selling point was the battery back-up for keeping my medication cool during and after a storm. They indicated that the equipment had many guarantees that were fraudulent.

Desired Outcome

At this point the only resolution that I see is the REMOVAL of the solar panels.

They send me a statement of my consumption and say that I am consuming more than I am producing. I changed all the bulbs to the bulbs they supplied which are energy efficient, I have a timer set they supplied on my water heater, and I am home alone all day and I barely use any power since I am legally blind. I do have the air running at 78 degrees. I was promised big savings of which I only saw the first two months and now I see none. I live on a fixed income and the idea was to save money of which I spend more on the power bills than previously. I believe the panels can not be running at their capacity. It's easy for them to waste my time calling and giving me statements but never offer to come and check system. I feel that I have been really patient with them. In the meantime I am that their mercy and wait for nothing to happen nor change.

I will accept their offer to have someone visit and check the solar panel personally. Other companies have mentioned to me that the system was not properly installed. Yes, I want someone to check the system.

I want to inform that the company of Maximo solar has communicated with me and I am not refusing to receive them, we have tried to coordinate appointments but the days that I have been given I have had additional medical appointments I was without communication because my phone broke and I was inc ommed until I could buy one and I have evidence and receipts of this purchase so I'd appreciate it if this case is still not closed

We have reached out to Maximo to regarding some of our panels not producing to full capacity. No one will answer our calls or questions
When we signed our contract with Maximo we where told that we would be getting at least $600/year back from FPL. We have reached out to Maximo at least 30 times and get the run around. They once told us there is a limit on production, then we where told it was because of shade from our trees. Which the picture they sent showed 2 trees and we only have one tall enough to shade the roof for a short while. I also asked them why the panels where installed in that spot as the tree was previously there. Maximo has not contacted us since October 2018 despite numerous attempts to contact them.

Desired Outcome

Maximo needs to replace and move location of the solar panels at their cost or add more panels to put us at the production that they promised at their cost. As we where told that the panels we rec'd where not what originally where suppose to be installed but it benefited us as the panels would produce more.

Maximo contacted me and a rep came to my house and told me that the converter was not the correct one. We are maxed out at 7.6 and should be 10. Then Spoke with Mary at the Orlando office and she said they will start the permit process. They now will not return phone calls or speak to me.

Company schedule a call with customer with our engineering department. We explain all details about the customer complain and came to a conclusion that the system is working to maximum capacity.We still identify a shade issue in the house, the customer mentioned that the tree is no longer there. Company will schedule a call with the manufacturer company, so they can talk to the client about the system details.

Invertor should be a 10 kw not a 7.6 kw. I spoke to the engineer who stated that he would send to someone to start that process to upgrade our invertor on Maximo and now no response again. There was no conclusion that the system is working properly. Nor was that ever stated, it was stated that the system is maxed out because of the 7.6 kw invertor there for can not produce more than that. They sold us a system that would produce enough to get a pay back froM FPL of at least $600 a year and right now we are paying average $100 a month.

From their free Solar Energy Consulting, to Financial Assistance, Site Survey, Design of the project, Permit Process, Installation, assistance to the Net Metering incorporation, activation of the system and education for the reading of the Monitoring System and as an add value, the following up of the next 3 utility company bills to educate Homeowners on the appropriate reading and following up of the energy consumption. Good installation process and milestone achievement reports, so you know where you are at in the whole process. They handle the whole process and the Homeowner can relax and enjoy the benefits of the sun.

Excellent company very professional and responsible. The equipment was very efficient save me a lot of money. I recommend to buy a gas dryer and a solar or gas heaters. That will help you to lower the use of electrical power and save a lot of money. It is one of my best investments.

After all the information than they offer us we decide to go with Maximo solar system. Its been 2 year of good service and communication. Really good equipment for the money and investment. The best company in renewable energy in all the Caribean islands and now expanding to Florida. Maximo Solar Corp has a different price for all your needs. In my case I do not pay bills of government energy because they did help me for what I wanted. Today my house can be working off Grid or selling energy to the authority ( Net measure). Something really important to me is the quality of the product . Very safety that during " María Hurricane " I had energy in my house like always. Nothing changed in my house at the Hurricane. Very strong system with high quality in solar panel , lithium battery and Inverter. The employees work by strictly instructions during installations. Yes , I do recommend this industry.

Maximo Solar Installed a Tesla Powerwall System that can't work properly the way it is. They sols us one Tesla battery but should have sold us two.

My Husband and I are hoping someone can help us. At the end of last September, we investigated having solar installed on our home. We hired Maximo Solar Industries, new to Florida in 2016 but has been in business years in Puerto Rico. The whole job was supposed to take 3 months but took 8 months.
Our complaint is the Tesla Powerwall battery backup system. Maximo installed 1 Tesla Powerwall battery. The Installer hooked up our AC Unit, Refrigerator, Microware, several outlets & some lights. He told us there was still room to add more, so he added the well & hot water heater all to the Tesla Powerwall battery. We decided to do a full test in July before hurricane season. It don't work properly, the power would cut off, then on for about 5 minutes then off & on again till I shut it down. I called Tesla & they ran a test with me (Tesla monitors the battery through the internet). After several conversations with Tesla they said the AC unit needs a Powerwall battery of its own to work properly. They came to that conclusion after I sent them a photo of the AC units specs. Maximo solar should have known this, when they were drawing up the blueprints for the solar panels & Tesla placement. Tesla advised us to contact Maximo with the information. We emailed them & said we are willing to pay for the battery at the cost we paid for the 1st one (new cost is $400 more) and we want them to pay for the install since all this should have already been done. It took months of trying to get maxima solar to responded to us, but finally I got hold of a Mariano Rocafort (Operations Manager 787-615-5771). The last email he sent explained we would have to pay full cost for the battery & it is on a long back order so let's keep in touch. We don't believe they are going to do anything to fix the issue. The Installer told us they have batteries in the warehouse for other customers, we feel we should be a priorate since we can't use our power wall the way it is. This also isn't the only issue we have had with them, I have many emails & texts to prove the issues. I see that others have posted on-line their problems also. Please help us get what we paid for a working Powerwall for power outages.

We would like them to install the 2nd Tesla battery before the end of 2018. We will pay for the battery at the cost of the 1st battery we bought & they will install correctly everything for free since we already paid for that service.

The Company has made contact with us but nothing has been done to resolve the issue. I have been told they are in communication with Tesla to get a PowerWall. That is all at this time. I have not been told anything other than that. I didn't get the matter resolved yet so I didn't have anything to report. Please reopen this complaint till they complete the job.

I will not be satisfied until the battery is installed. November 6th was the last Communication I had with maximo. At that time they were trying to get a battery. This is frustrating because they had batteries when they installed the first one.if they would have just did the job right the first time!!

We live in Hollywood, South Florida and we acquire the Solar Panels in order to save money and make our house even more efficiency. Since we also got nice large impact windows, the house is getting very efficiency everyday with a lot of sunlight during the day and the new air conditioning as well. My solar panels are working perfectly. We can monitor it by the Solar Edge app and see whatever we are saving up out of the electricity bill. Anyway, I also need to compliment Helena's job, she is such a hard worker young lady who works for the company. She always had come over to our house to resolve few issues with the city, the permits and the internet cable that was not getting the signal from our comcast device.
Anyway, we got very close to Helena W because our same culture, we are Brazilian and at the first time we had talked to her we already knew she was also Brazilian because her funny accent. We also just had the positive result from our Accountant that we got the 30% Tax Credit. Thank you Maximo Solar for the very well done installation and to provide us the opportunity for Going Solar.

Maximp solar told us that after the solar system was installed we will be covered at 100% . Not true im still . getting high bills from ***.
Fraud. They lie to us, and never told us that the system will not covered the entire home.
