The panels do not perform the way I was promised they would. Instead of saving money I'm paying more. My electric bill only reduced by $20.00

The panels were installed in June 2018 I got 2 bills and both where $280.00. Before the panels installation my bill was $300.00 to $310.00 the promised me that my electric bill wasn't going to be more than $15.00. So now I'm saving $20.00 to $30.00 in my electric bill but has to pay $116.00 for the panels. Can someone explain where I'm saving money? My panels were installed by Luis B. The person that I was in contact from Maximo Solar named Rebbeca P said they were going to send a technician to verify that everything was working properly but as of today August 31,2018. No one has show up. I have tried to communicate with Rebbeca but she is always in a meeting and I'm still waiting for a call back. I'm a 74year old man retired and live off a check and my main reason to invest was to save money not to pay more.

Desired Outcome

Not interested in having the panels anymore. The company can come and uninstall them and take them. Unless they want to come and make sure the panels are working properly.

We Signed a contract with this company August 2017 and it has been 1 year now August 15th 2018 and they have not installed anything. They have given us numerous excuses after we call and insist because they never call us to inform us of what is happening. Lastly they said the financing company does not want to work with them any longer and that we would have to find a financing company ourselves, prior to that it was that the panels we signed for were not available, prior to that was problems with the permits from the Power company. Now we would like to have our deposit of $6,000 back and they are still saying they will call us back. When we call them the GM is always in a meeting and he sais he will call us back, No one ever calls back. We wonder if they intend to keep our $6,000...

We do confirm the financial company decided to stop financing upon hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico in September 2017. Customer was approved for down payment reimbursement after intends to find a similar financial program was unsuccessful. We have recently arranged for other financial options but none similar to client initial offering. We wish customer reconsider in the near future to help us transform their energy into solar and storage and become part of more than 7000 successfully installed customers.

This company has excellent mechanical and electrical skills. Their customer service skills are the worst I have ever experienced. I had my Tesla Powerwall battery and solar panels installed. They barely called to let us know when they were coming to install. There has been a problem with my solar monitoring system, that I have called about multiple times, with no one coming to repair or fix the issue.
They barely return calles when they say they will schedule someone to come and fix the problem, I have had to call back 3-4 times to get any action. At this point the Enlighten solar monitor is not repaired.

Maximo has stepped up to the plate, and resolved my issues. They have improved their customer services, and now respond in a positive manner. I would give them 5 starts now.

Seven months later my solar system is not up and running. Maximo has failed to return calls or resolve the issue after numerous calls to management.
I have been working with Maximo Solar regarding my solar project since the end of December 2017. I was told my system would be up and running within 3 months. We are now 7 months in the project and Maximo Solar has failed to get this unit up and running. They made promises they just have not been able to deliver on, as well as there partners Simple Solar. They have fail inspection for putting indoor electric panels on the outside of my home. Pipes were not secured to my home. I've made numerous calls to follow up, and either they fail to respond at all or take weeks to get back to me. I have taken time off work when they were supposed to come to correct an issue, and never showed. It came to a point where the VP- Jonathan gave me his personal cellphone number and told me he would follow up on issues himself. However, I have left messages for him this past week for a status, and he has not returned my calls.

After 11 months contractor has failed to properly install working solar panel system. It takes weeks for the business to respond to customer concerns.
Solar system installation: We have been working with Maximo Solar regarding this project since the end of December 2017. As per the contract we started this in Dec 2017 the completion date was supposed to be March 30, 2018. However, boots did not hit the roof until April of 2018. We are now 11 months in the project and Maximo Solar has failed to get this unit up and running. Since the installation we've had a number of issues and parts that needed to be replaced although the system has never worked. We have failed inspections as well. The company continues to pressure us to sign the completion with the finance company although the system is not functioning. When we expressed that the system is not functioning the only response received was that everything is working properly on their end. We have even reach out to our electric company to inquire if they received any readings from our system which they stated our production was not registering. I've made numerous calls to follow up, and either they fail to respond or take weeks to get back to us. It takes approximately 4-6 weeks for any calls to be returned. It came to a point where the VP- Jonathan gave me his personal cellphone number and told me he would follow up on issues himself. However, We have left messages for him, and he has not returned my calls. I was then referred to a Mariano who is any manager who has also failed to provide any solutions. At this point we are just uncertain that if or when the system will get online if it will continue to function properly or improperly. We continuously make calls and ask for updates and things to be done but with a 4 to 6 weeks for response time it is beyond frustrating. At this point this company has become so unreliable I don't think it even makes sense to move forward with the purchase of this equipment. We have filed a complaint with the finance company and have refused to sign the completion for the release of funds. Now we are being told our finance application is expired and we will need to reapply at almost double the interest rate because Maximo Solar failed to install a properly functioning system in a timely manner.

Desired Outcome

At this point my only option is to report them and possibly seek legal counsel to file a complaint. They need to resolve any and all issues, and compensate me for the time I've wasted trying to assist in getting this system up and running. With all the fault from this system we would like the entire system to be replaced with a more reliable product. If Maximo Solar is unwilling to comply at this point since they have defaulted on the contract they can pick up there materials from my home. As long as they are able to remove it without damages. Any damages they may cause they will be responsible for covering.

During this process we have been working with the customer hand to hand. Two weeks ago we try to coordinate a service visit and finally the customer agree to receive the visit on November 15. Our technician Mr. Wilson review all the system and talk to the customer about the inverter warranty. We told the customer and her husband about the issue and they agree on the work to be done. As soon as we receive the new inverter we will proceed to installed the part free of charge as agree with the customer. Our customer service supervisor is working with the case directly.

I would like to express my appreciation about Maximo Solar Industries. Also, specially for Helena Wirth who works in South Florida Team. She has been helping me out with entire process to get the Project done. She is such a very nice person and a knowledge professional who always care to give people the complete and right information. After everything was done she came to my home again, gave me all the instructions that I need for making sure my Solar System is working perfectly. I remember, the inspection was approved, the inspector mentioned he never seen a very well done installation as they did at my home and they actually do for other homes. They have been installing several Projects in Lake Worth city, we have couple neighbors also getting the System to their homes. They are very happy for choosing Maximo Solar. Thank you Helena Wirth. Solar system installed improperly over 3 months ago still not functioning or approved due to bad installation - also damage to home
Maximo Solar installed my solar system over 3 months ago and it has yet to be turned on - 1 failed inspection after another - installer is sub-contractor who also damaged my home where I have had water damage now due to the heavy rains last week - installer came and checked it out said he would repair it and now has gone on vacation for 2 weeks and I still dont have a system that works - advised I would remove it personally if its not fixed they just done care to do anything just keep saying they are sorry - sorry doesnt work anymore for me

Desired Outcome

I want my system up and running immediately, I want them to make the loan payments on the system since it is not working I am not paying for it and I want the damage inside my home fixed

Clients concerns were addressed and we have reached a final resolution.

Where the installation went wrong was they only sent 2 guys and when they sent them I was not home so I could not give them the access they needed. and then when they scheduled it to where I could be there. I took a Paid vacation day to be there and when they arrived again they only had 2 people there and they had no idea of what they had to do on the inside of the house so I wasted a vacation day to be there, so then the next day they came and told me they did not need to be in the house and they started the installation on the outside a Month later they said everything was done and when I got home EVERYTHING was uneven and they drilled into my gutter to have a ground wire run thru they used tar to keep the wire stick to the roof and zip tied it to the gutter running down the side of my house. and when I saw that I took pictures of everything and sent it to Steve L which he then called me and had them resend them out and had a manager come out and when they came out I was not home and they said oh everything looked fine, but when I got home I noticed that NOTHING had been done, I called Maximo back and they said that everything was fine and did not need to fix anything. I told them That I did Not want those installers to come back to my house but I wanted someone else to come out so the Head of the contracting company came out to my house and when he arrived he was Shocked at the poor workmanship that was displayed and he had to take EVERYTHING down and when he got the panels down he noticed the wire that was used was the WRONG wire causing him to have to take all the panels down and go back to the ware house to get it and that took a week so our panels where just laying on the ground for a week. then he came back and reinstalled the panels with the right wire and he "fixed" the gutter by just patching it so I still have a hole in my seemless gutters that are now not so seam less and by then I was done fighting with the guy to get the gutter fixed. I sent a message with a picture to Maximo with a picture of how they "fixed it" but they never said anything back to the picture message. So after about 2 months of installation which should have took 2 days it was finally done.

My experince with máximo solar Industries was great. Carlos G Expo sin everything, the instalation was Great and I definetely I recomend them ti everyone want yo go in ti solar AAA+

Great help from management. The company started out slow, but overall this company has an amazing team that other companies can admire.

Excerpts from emails I have sent are below. Most of the time they do not even respond.

This needs to be handled. Your installer wired the can wrong. Needs to be wired utility to the top and PV to the bottom. The meter guy from Leesburg showed me that the way it wired is not going to work. He even wrote in the can how to do it..... because some one did not get the proper "how-to" from Leesburg.

Your installer refused to put a breaker in my panel from what my wife said.

I will be sending photos of the damage to my house, the mess that was made and we will discuss either today or tomorrow about my tires on my truck.

Not to mention the safety of my children and wife's feet at the house in our yard.

I mentioned about getting these panels put on and revising the permit. I was told it would be done after the installation. Now we have this!!!!

Ok so ....... Maximo can communicate with Leesburg about everything, EXCEPT, what the expectations are for the install? The requirements? etc. etc. ??????

I'm confused?!?!?!?

$35,000 dollars later and this is the company I am dealing with? We need to discuss this price further..... seems too much to me.

OH and BTW....... where is my water heater timer? It sure is not installed....... So does that mean you did not fulfill your end of the contract? Sounds like it to me....

No one is setting foot at my door step until I get a claim filed with your insurance company and these other issues get addressed in WRITING.

They have to include the other 5 panels now during this install as well. You need a permit for that and revising the paperwork.

They trashed my yard, most of them barely spoke any English, they broke my gutter and my tires have not been addressed!!!

My wife was even UNCOMFORTABLE because one guy we tried to talk to during the install pretended like he spoke almost no English.

This time he was here my wife said he spoke English just fine. She said he was a bigger gentleman.

This is my house, my family, my yard, my truck and my money. You have betrayed, damaged and lost my trust in regards to all of that.

When we spoke yesterday you said you would send me an email about our conversation and what you would be willing to do to make these things right.

After that I advised you I would get the things together you requested about the damage, the mess, etc. My wife has raked up the mess by the way. So she did the job of your installers who get paid pretty well I am sure.

Email sent from My Electric company after Maximo, AGAIN, failed to do it right.

1. The second meter can is installed too low. The minimum height is 4' to the center of the meter. The maximum height is 5 1/2' to the center of the meter.

2. We do not allow connections in the breaker box via Polaris type connections. We will require that connection to be made by a breaker. It must be properly sized as well.

3. It is my understanding that additional panels will be installed. We will need to know what you are going to add to this system. All modifications must be approved by the Electric Department, prior to construction. Is this an increase in size stated on the application?

4. Adding additional panels will require another permit and inspection.

We would encourage your company to visit our website at *** and read our solar installation guidelines and requirements. This will help you complete your job in a timely fashion. We do not like delaying our customers.

Customer service issues, lack of professionalism and overall inferior service.
At this point there is so many issues that have occurred with Maximo Solar that it will be extremely difficult to write them all out. Since June on 2017 I have been doing business with Maximo Solar. Since the beginning Maximo Solar has failed to make scheduled appointments on time, failed multiple city inspections, failed to have the system work as stated in contract, attempted to perform a bait and switch with their price point. Now we are at the point that the system can't produce to the manner that it's suppose to. Now, I am spending more money on electricity then I did before I had the solar panels between paying the electric company and Dividen. I am willing to discuss further and in more detail with the Revdex.com. I have contacted Maximo Solar and Dividce on multiple occasions and no reasonable solution has been made.

Desired Outcome

At this point as I have stated to all of Maximo Solar personnel I want the system removed from my house, repairs done to areas they have damaged to my house with the installl and a full refund.

Maximo Solar has not been in contact with me about my issues. The last time they contacted was about removing the solar panels because I was getting the shingles replaced on the roof. The matter at hand of disappointment with service and the system not producing what was stated still has not been addressed. As you can see by the companies response it was very generic and not addressing any of my concerns.

I have reached out to Maximo Solar since they came out to add the additional monitoring system, based that the system the installed called emphase says it's not reading properly. They continue to state that someone will contact me, the last time I called was about six weeks ago and still waiting for a call back. In regards of the solar system removal they opted not to charge the insurance company for the removal of the solar system because I didn't profit anything from the removal. The insurance deductible would been the same either way. As the discussion of the generation of power for the household their sales person was informed of the electric car that was on the property and he stated it would be no issue. When the information was presented to Maximo Solar about the previous home owner electric usage their were fine with the information at the time because they wanted to close a $40k sell. Additionally, there were 7 people living in the house previously and 5 of them home schooled in the house. Now, only two people reside in the household, and they are not home schooled but Maximo still implies that we use more power than 7 people. With over 60 LED bulbs and two programmable thermostats in the household. Maximo Solar continues to state no wrong doing but also refuse to accommodate their customers with what was sold to them. The work performed doesn't even allow the battery backup system that was installed in the household to show adequate numbers. Overall, I fully regret doing business with Maximo Solar and would of done business with a professional company such as Solar City. As I write another replay to Maximo Solar, it's interesting how the Revdex.com closed the cast because Maximo Solar didn't reply but now 4 months later they decide to. This is an example of the very poor customer service they provide. All I want is for my matter resolved in a way that is deemed satisfactory.

We will like to thank Mr. for accepting this service visit and the support to our service crew.

I would 100% recommend Maximo Solar! They are very easy to work with, and they do a great job with the Installation. My system went through Hurricane Irma shortly after it was installed, it went through the storm with flying colors! Maximo uses the finest products and have first class workman.

I had an appointment on 1/21/2017 with Maximo Solor Ind. but they were a no show. Prior week I gave them all my KUA consumption data and they were supposed to give me their assessment of what My need would be for Solor panels and Tesla powerwall. I waited all day and they never called, emailed or texted that they would not make it to the appointment. so, I called them...left voice mail...no response until 2 days later. The company Rep. apologized and wanted to give me an LED light bulb. I informed him that all my bulbs are already LED. For the amount of money I was willing to spend I deserved at least a call prior to the appointment they new they were not going to keep. I informed them if I can't trust you on the small easy stuff I will certainly not trust them on the important high dollar stuff that requires a high degree of quality. I would not recommend this company to anyone. When I get a hold of Tesla I will also tell them Maximo Solor is an extremely undependable company and should not be connected with then at all. If I could give them a negative five -5 in the rating I would!
