Maxx Auto Wash

Absolutely brutal! First and last time I'll ever go here. Used automaxx and with four cars in front of me, it took 1 hour and 13 minutes to get through. Terrible!

Absolutely a joke. Went into wash my car and empty garbage and realized after I cleaned out my car that I left my debit card at home and couldn't get any time for the wash . I jumped in and tried but was approached with a knock on my car window from the Asian lady asking why I didn't wash my car . I explained that I didn't have any money (accidentally) and she started complaining that I emptied my garbage in the garbage can and that she would ha to clean it up and she actually wanted me to take it back out . I said no and she lost her mind . I calmly said the first time if that's the way it is I won't come back and I'll tell everyone I know to stay away from this place and she started going off about calling the police on me for not taking the garbage . I tried to drive away with out a response but she ran and locked the exit bay (turned off the motion sensor ) so that I couldn't exit ! At this Point I was fuming and told her I would drive my car into the bay door if she didn't let me out and not in a nice way . This actually almost caused a fight beetween me and another customer as they had no idea what was going on and assumed I was yelling at her for no reason .

Absolutely worst customer service. Auto wash took off plastic piece on tail gate. Stopped 5 times left messages no call backs.

WowI had incredibly confrontational customer service at Auto Maxx Carwash across from [redacted] on Rochdale this afternoonIt was the actual owner who was off his nut over me wiping the bugs off my fender with a ragHe was on me after literally seconds! I wasn't planning on settling in to use the rag for longer than a minute as I just had a few spots to rub in between washes and he was so inflammatory! Kicked me out and threatened to call the police all without hardly letting me finish any sentencesThankfully there's [redacted] also in the North end! They were awesome and it's nice to wash your vehicle without being harassed or threatened!

At approx..10:45 Am on august 20, 2019 I drove into the Auto Max Car Wash at in 1170 N. Stockton Street, Regina stopping n the stall directly across from the cross from office.

I used $1.00 for a soap wash then put in $1.00 for a soap and brush which was timed for 1 minute and 5 seconds. It took about 5 seconds or more for the soap to start coming out in sufficient quantities to start washing my truck. I got about 2/3 done when the attendant approached me and started to give me directions. At this time the brush was completely full with soap but the attendant, and middle aged Asian lady with limited English and difficult to understand was telling me to stop using the brush and put more money in if I wanted to use the soap brush. I don't know if the clock ran out or not but when she approached me the brush was definitely full of soap as I was attempting to wash some more of the truck when she stopped me.

The attendant was very aggressive and rude as she directed me to put more money in if wanted to use the brush. I asked what do you want me to do as I was not clear of what she was
trying to tell me and she said something about not using the brush when timer stopped and to put more money in if you want to us brush. I told that was the reason there was nobody using the car wash (only one other person in) because of the way she said treated customers and I told her I'll never be back here again.

After rinsing the soap off I approached the attendant and asked her who the manager was as I was going to write a letter with a formal complaint. She became even more loud, aggressive and rude and told me to tell her my name and said she was not going to give me her name or the name of the manager. She then went inside the office. pushed a note pad in front of me and told me to write my complaint. I told her I wasn't going to argue with her and would get the information elsewhere and make a formal complaint. She became more aggressive and told me I was a bad customer, she didn't want my money and told me not to come back again.

After shopping at Superstore I drove back into the Car Wash and took pictures of the stall and the signs inside and outside to try and identify the business and any contact numbers. As I was taking pictures she came out of her office with a camera and took pictures of me and my truck licence plate.

I would like to know the owner or manager of this business and the information brought to his/her attention so that corrective action could be taken so other customers would not be treated in such a disrespectful and rude manner.

Absolute rude staff. Wouldn't let me wash my car in peace. Before the timer even stopped, she told me I had to put money in. I told her I know this and was putting more money in, she distracted me and I started to wash my car without hitting the button after putting the money in. I told her I know how to use it, but if she would just leave me be, but she kept on me everytime it just about stopped. She started yelling at me, so I yelled back and said stop being rude. She turned off the machine so the money I just put in was lost. I told her why is she doing this, she called me cheap. Im cheap using your car wash and putting money in? It turned back on and I quickly washed off the soap I had on, normally I would do more, but not this time! When I was finished I told the lady her customer service was bad and she called me cheap. I lost it and told her to just F-off you have horrible customer service, she then wouldnt stop telling me to F-off. Nice. Real Nice. Will never ever go back until she is fired, or if shes the owner then loses her business.

I'd rate them "0 Stars" if I could....at the car wash today and was just finishing the "soap brush" cycle, rounding to the front of the vehicle. The meter had been down for maybe a few seconds and before I could check to see if I got the front of the truck (and then needing to put more money in the meter) this lady came up (like popped out of nowhere) and spoke very aggressively and told me to hang up the brush - then she tried to grab it from me. I argued because I don't like being treated that way and accused of something I have not done. She assumed I was going to keep on using the brush past the meter expiry. I explained to her that the meter had just expired and I was going to check the front of the truck - she did not seem to care. The treatment I received was disrespectful (at best) and abusive (at worst) and they will NEVER have my business again. I'll go to Mohawk, or over by the hockey rink - heck, I'll drive anywhere in the city but will never use Maxx Autowash again (say goodbye to a regular customer who has been going there 20-25 times/year for the last 5 years). And all over 5 seconds (at most) on the foam brush cycle. Hmmmmm....makes no sense to me.

Went through the touchless car wash and it appeared that there may be a clogged nozzle on the bottom passenger side as the rest of the vehicle was clean but not that area. I only realized this when I returned home and called the car wash to advise them that it may not be working properly in case other people are also using the wash and may have this same issue. The lady I spoke with on the phone stated another person had told her the same issue also during that day and she had said we should have gotten Package #1 (the most expensive one of course) and that wouldn't have happened and then hung up the phone on me. Awful customer service.

The afternoon of January 28, 2019, I decided to wash my truck at this car wash since my usual car wash was closed. It was -17 C so it was cold outside.

I spent $2.00 on soap but ran out of time.
I spent another $1.00 on soap to finish soaking the truck.
I spent $2.00 on the foam brush but ran out of time.
The brush head goes limp to prevent using it after the foam shuts off.
So I spent another $1.00 on the brush and finished up just when the brush went limp again.

An attendant came over and said not to use the brush after it quits foaming.
I said I already spent $3.00 on it and that I was done.

I spent $2.00 on wax but ran out of time.
I spent another $2.00 on wax to finished up.

I immediately opened my truck doors and began wiping off excess water.
In about 3 minutes the attendant came over and told me to dry my truck outside.
I said it was very cold outside and would only be another minute.
I told the manager who was standing by that I already paid to wash my truck and expected that I would at least be able to wipe it off before going outside.

He told me to either pay more money (I am not sure for what) or move my truck.
I said I was almost done and would go right away as I tried to finish wiping.

***He said there were customers waiting and THREATENED to spray the dirt on the floor of the wash bay onto my truck if I did not leave immediately.***
***He said he did not appreciate or want customers like me and said I should go.***
***He actually began spraying the bay floor in front of my truck to get me to leave.***

I went outside and tried to wipe the excess water off my truck but it froze immediately.
Two other vehicles came out of the car wash as I tried to wipe off my truck.
I checked but there were no other customers waiting in line outside.

I think it is not unreasonable to take five minutes to wipe down a vehicle before leaving a car wash especially when it is very cold outside but, this manager thinks differently.

***I found the manager to be RUDE and THREATENING!***
***I will tell everyone I know about how POORLY I was treated.***
***I will not go there again and I hope that other people AVOID this car wash altogether!

Owner is a bully!! DO NOT GO HERE!!
Dont waste your time or money!! This guy is a greedy *** plain and simple!!

Brutal Service.

Nice clean wash. My wife goes here all the time. Very expensive. The brush I was using wasn't getting a lot of spots so I turned off the machine just to touch up all the spots it missed. Wasn't trying to wash my car for free but just fix what it missed. The guy came out and started yelling at me to leave the meter running and wasn't open to any dialogue about his faulty equipment. I told him I would wash my vehicle elsewhere and that he would lose a client. He felt the need to tell me he was the busiest car wash in the city. I'm sure by proximity he he probably is as he's the only real wand wash in northwest.

Walked away with a half washed car for almost 10 bucks and never going back.

I had to put 1 Starr because there is nothing lower I can put. Customer service AWEFUL. cashier is very rude, was asked a question - ignored. Don't waste your money and time going to this place. You don't want to be treated like piece of s***. I came June 17/2018

Absolutely terrible customer service. The owner was the person I was dealing with and was extremely inappropriate in how he was talking to me. I will never go back there!

First off I NEVER use Maxx auto wash. I have made a comment in the past and have not gone back until now, and this time was not any better. I paid $5 to vacuum my car, the vacuum did NOT suck anything up. so I hit STOP on the time and apparently this just cancels out your entire time. I went into the office and said your vacuum did not work and she giggled and said its probably clogged, well I asked for my money back and she said how much did you pay? I let her know it was $5, she gave me a $2 wash credit... I said I paid $5 and I get $2 back? I was not even able to vacuum any part of my car. the girl said that's what you get so take it or leave it. I got half may car rinsed and the time was up. I drove down to the end of Rochdale and used the wash I generally go to. I guess I learnt a 2nd time to never go back, ALL because I wanted to vacuum my car indoors rather then in -30. I cant believe after everything this wash has had said against them they still have not changed their attitude towards customers and their wrongs.

I went to Max car wash today to wash my truck, I was stopped as I opened my tailgate and was told that they do not allow people to wash out their truck boxes. What good is a car wash that does not allow you to wash your entire vehicle. Will not return and will go to a better car wash in the future. Very disappointed.

Got a auto wash. Worst auto wash I have ever had. Equipment is shotty at best. Soap doesn't cover car and rinse and wash sponges don't even touch the vehicle half the time. Brutal. Will never go back.

For $17.99 the automatic touch wash did not clean my vehicle adequately. (They changed their soap, the new stuff doesn't work very good.) I'm better off cleaning my car myself. :(
