Everyone at May Electric Solar is fantastic at what they do. They have a dedicated, experienced team of experts that held my hand through the entire process while securing the exact solar system that fit my needs and budget. They went well beyond just the installation of ''a solar system". They handled all the finer details and headaches leading up to that installation including; panel engineering/roof placement (as well as coming out to make exact measurements on my hot roof during 100 degree temps), filling out and filing the proper paperwork and legal forms, notifying my HOA, permitting, scheduling of electrical and building inspectors along with notifying and following up with my electric utility concerning the net metering changeout. I couldn't help but be impressed by what they accomplished for me in s short period of time. They were always professional and won me over with there friendly attitudes and great customer service! I got a lot of quotes for the job but nobody I dealt with came close to having it all together like this company!

We are so pleased with the work that May Electric Solar did for us from the beginning meeting with the sales representative, Neil, the permitting, and the installation of our solar panels by Mr. May and his team. We did a lot of research before choosing May Electric Solar who charged a very reasonable price compared to the other companies we had talked with. During our initial meeting with Neil, he explained how the solar process works, made sure we got the best system for our needs and made sure we understood how our solar system would work. He encouraged us to take a tour of the facility in Hudson, FL, and we did. We were very impressed! After the permitting process was complete we were notified when installation would begin. On that day, Mr. May and his team arrived early and immediately went to work. The installation took one day and inspection by our county was done shortly thereafter. We would not hesitate to refer May Electric Solar to anyone interested in reducing or eliminating their electric bill and making a contribution to our environment. I want to thank you and your men for doing such an efficient and effective job of searching out and correcting some water leakage in our bedroom that we experience several nights ago. The amount of rain and wind that came at us that evening was able to allow the water to penetrate the most smallest of holes in the roof. What is especially noteworthy about this "service after the sale policy" is that the cause of the leaking roof had absolutely nothing to do with the work that your company did--it was due to the builder and a previous vendor's installation of our "lighting rod" system--but your men corrected the problem without regard to who created the conditions that allowed the rain to come in.
Your men took pictures of the locations where the water entered and caused some superficial damage--nothing to worry about at this point in time--but I appreciated the thoroughness with which they responded to my call for help with the water coming into our master bedroom.
Please feel free to use this letter as a testimony as to how May Electric Solar does business. I would whole heartedly recommend your company to anyone considering a Solar installation.

Using any company other than May Electric Solar would be a mistake in both time and money. I talked to six companies before deciding to go with May. This constituted many hours of research and studying what everyone was selling. In the end, I decided May was the most thorough and knowledgeable of the companies... recommending LG panels and Enphase microinverters. Great pleasure to work with. Entire staff was pleasant and friendly. From initial contract signing to installation was far quicker than we expected. Once panels were installed, their continued customer service to get building inspector to inspect installation as well as complete paperwork for Duke Energy to come change the electric meter was excellent. Highly recommend them for anyone's solar panel needs.

My experience with May Electric Solar was nothing short of exceptional. I interviewed several companies and did lots of research before choosing May Electric. They offered the best warranty and pricing for top quality product. They took the time to answer all of my questions. They were honest and gave me the information I needed to make an informed decision. They took care of every step of the process. I ran into some challenges with the electric company and Mr May stepped in to make sure we were able to get my system up and running. I have had my system installed for for about 8 months now. It is performing exactly as I had hoped. It generates enough electricity to cover my needs. So, when I pay off the Solar Loan my electric bill will only be my electric company monthly customer connection fee which is about $10 per month. Thank you May Electric Solar!

I highly recommend this company to anyone interested in solar. I purchased a 15kw system from them and it's been working perfectly now for months. The Enlighten app is great for tracking everything! My biggest concern was leaks and May Electric did a great job to ensure the job was done in accordance with my roof warranty. Neil Summers was my sales rep and he was great! He took the time to answer every question and was very good about providing updates throughout the process.

We did extensive research on solar and talked with at least 5 different solar companies before we decided to go with May Electric and we are extremely satisfied with our decision. Starting with Tom our salesman who gave us a completely customized, ON PAPER, view of our cost savings if we went solar. He showed us, based on our electric usage, how solar was beneficial. He also showed us the layout of the panels on our roof and how the seasonal sun pattern made this the most efficient use of the solar panels. Other companies wanted to use parts of our roof that were not the most efficient. There was no pressure and at our request, he came back again to answer a few more questions we had. We signed a contract that day. May is a local company an has its own crew which is important to us. Any issues go through them. Some of the other companies use sub-contractors and the warranty and workmanship is not the same. On installation day Bill M, the owner fo the company was on my roof with his crew. being a small business owner myself I understand the pride and quality that comes from it. You do the job right and they did! I observed the entire process. The crew answered any questions I had and were very professional. Fantastic experience working with May Electric Solar company for my dive into the world of solar power generation. William May, Jake, and Tyler were all courteous and professional in the interaction I had with them. They were able to schedule an on-site estimate within a week of contacting them. Jake excelled in his knowledge of the process and low pressure in terms of sales, especially compared to other area companies. They work with top quality components in the industry (LG panels and Enphase micro-inverters) and benefit from being an electrical contractor prior to getting into the solar business unlike some of these newer companies that seem to be popping up. My only concern was possible overproduction when I required an unexpected new HVAC system while awaiting the install of my solar system, yet Jake assured me there should be no issue with the margins they plan for. The actual install was quite remarkable taking a little over 4 hours (though my system was relatively simple) and surprisingly simple operation of the system's hardware. You know you are choosing wisely when the county inspector tells you that May Electrics is one of the best outfits in the area. A local company works with American made panels and parts are hardworking personnel.

I highly recommend May Electric Solar for your Solar Array system with Lg panels and Enphase micro inverters!! My solar array system is working great!! They provide a quality installation and use only professional workers for the installation. May Electric Solar provide a great warranty 25 year warranty for both panels and micro inverters.

I first contracted with May Electric in 2017. I was so pleased with their product and service I now have 3 referrals that have also contracted with May Electric.
I recently had May out to expand my photovoltaic system and I was immediately reminded of their professionalism, punctuality and focus on quality.
