August 31, 2015Dear *** ***,In regards to *** *** *** : Due to the serious delinquencies in her credit with multiple repossessions it was very difficult for us to get her a loan but we did it, we were able to put her in a program for last resort casesThe customer was explained that she

Mayfair imports is unprofessional. I would like to know what issue was ever resolved when I spoke to no mechanic. I went to the company twice and Peter convinced me on both occasions that my car was fine. He also added that the noise I was hearing was because the car has been sitting on the lot for some period of time and wasn't being driven, I'm not a mechanic so went with what I was told. I was told my car was taken to a shop I never drove to that shop never have I spoken to a mechanic I wasn't even given papers on any mechanical issues that were fixed. I solely spoke with Peter and nobody else but him I took my car to Peter and picked my car up from Peter. I need this issue resolved because mayfair imports was aware of the mechanical defects when selling this vehicle I know this because I took my car to professionals who told me that the problems I am experiencing the dealer would've been aware of it when they got the car inspected before they resold.

I am rejecting this response because: it's not true. Yes my credit was bad. They knew that before we started the paper work. The problem is the bank did not repossess the car. It was at the dealers discretion. The bank sent a letter stating that I should be making payments to the dealer until they can get a bank to to take the loan. Even if they are not a buy here pay here, they can still take the payments. I have consulted 3 different lawyers and they all have said the same thing. It was not right for Mayfair to take the car and the money. They also have my monthly payment which was made to [redacted], but when [redacted] rescinded the loan, they sent the money to Mayfair. So now they have my down payment and my monthly payment. They should not have taken the car..  bottom line

Nov 14th 2016This letter is for your review as requested by the complaint that was submitted on 11/09/2016.In regards to the complaint, we sold [redacted] a 2012 [redacted] on 10/16/15, which is currently the lien holder and holds a clean title to the vehicle described above.  The...

vehicle had a minor damage reported as was sold with true miles on the date it was delivered.  Enclosed are copies of the title, Used car disclosure, As is disclaimer, Odometer statement and Bill of sale.  Regards,  Joseph P. General Manager

I am rejecting the response because I had a total of 2 deals with this dealership. The first deal 2008 [redacted], they tried to sale me a car with frame damage, luckily the bank did research before funding the deal. I was told by Pete, (the sales man) “I had to come back in to get the deal re written"that lead me to the second deal 2011 [redacted]. Of course the car cost more. I told Pete (CAR SALES MAN) that I would need my note to be no more than $390 a month. He told me after I sign the paper work to get the deal going I could call the Bank and extend my loan so the payments would be lowered. I don’t know that much about the car business so I believed him. after reviewing my contract I seen the payments was close to $500 a month which was not in my budget but I figure he has done this before so he knows what he is talking about. I called the bank all that week but they said I was not in the system yet because they are still taking me through the funding screening. I finally was able to talk to someone from the bank around 10/16/14. I told them what Pete (THE SALES MAN) told me and the bank told me that they don’t do that. They told me that the dealership comes up with the payments for the deal and they don’t negotiate the contracts. I was lied to. It was not my fault it was their fault because they seen me as a woman and they were just trying to sale a car. They took advantage of me.  Sincerely,  [redacted]
