Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: the business did schedule a appointment to replace the windshield and my understanding is I was to pay full cost of the new windshield for increased damages they caused trying to repair the windshieldThat should not be my expense as a customer and the consumer is completely liable for damages Regards, [redacted]

This is [redacted] at Mayo Autoworks at E Stan Schlueter Loop I was the one that talked to this customer She came in for some issues on her vehicle The main issue was the transmission She needed a lot done This is a Mazda We explained the customer that this transmission only had a day warranty parts only So if anything went wrong with it labor would not be covered only the transmission She has had the car back for almost months now it was running great after that beside the leaks that she had Apparently a hose busted under the vehicle A transmission hose That part was still together and working Parts fall apart everyday ware and tare Even brand new part get defective Well we have offered the fix it but it will be $ We our willing to do it for $This repair was not paid up front She went thorough one of finance companies She is still paying on it for the next months She can add that to the bill but she would have to pay percent down and the app feeAlso her son has been fixing things on this vehicle as well This is the best thing we can do

Good morning Ms [redacted] My name is [redacted] from Mayo Autoworks at E Stan Schlueter Loop Killeen Texas, This Happened at the first location W Stan Schlueter Loop Killeen Texas, Mr [redacted] came in for a diagnosticWe Quoted the customer Mr [redacted] of what was going on with his vehicleHe wanted us to rebuild his engine but it would cost him too muchWe quote every customer for repairs before we precedeWe also give them the option of the repairs He had bent and broke internal parts in his engineAlso gave him a price on a rebuilt engine with laborHe also wanted some of his parts taken off of his old engine to be put on thereHe didn't like the prices so we quoted a used engine with transfer of partsHe wasn't happy with anything we offered himSo we also suggested a loan and he was aprove for the work to be doneSo the work got done and he still wast happy He kept coming back for more issueThe vehicle is a Chevy Caprice wagonHe was yelling at the tech and the ownersSaying that we did something to his vehicleSo the owners asked him to leave and he wouldn't leave He was the one using foul languageThat's why they told him never to come backWell the vehicle is back againHe has no engine leaks now he has transmission leaksHe is also blaming us for that as well This customers will not be happy with anything we tell himHere is a copy of his first repairsWe eve took off an additional dollars

Mayo Autoworks can only warranty the part not the labor we have explained that from the beginning before the work was even started She knew of the conditions and the warranty We explain the warranty with all the our customers Sorry for the inconvenience The labor was from the beginning and when we did the repair we only charge for labor it takes longer than what we chargenow we our willing to do it for All I can do is that all I can not go any lower than this If you would like it repaired that is what is going to cost to fix it You would get another transmission plus fluids for free The leak would be fixed Thank for your time

I took my Nissan Ext-ere to Mayo Autoworks in Killeen TxAt the time I was just wanting spark plugs and wires put inThey talked me into doing a diagnostic check $Since I was planning on driving to Alaska I thought it was a good ideaMy daughter is in the Army and we are driving to Fairbanks with her yrold daughterI paid them $543.+ for both servicesI never received a diagnostic print out and the check engine light was now on I took my truck back the following day, telling them it was running worse than it was before they worked on it They replaced the plug on cylinder and told me to come back the following Tueswhich was yesterday 8/23/They put a new wire on but it didn't stop the problemMy check engine light is still on and my truck is running rough which it was running smooth prior to them working on itThe owner/manager got very rude and loud to the employees due to me wanting something done to fix the problem They wanted me to pay an additional $to get my fuel system/injectors cleanedI was hurried out after the poor service The owner was loud enough that everyone in the waiting room could hear him It made me very uncomfortable with no solution, no warranty, and no satisfactionI left not sure what to do We are leaving on Sept7th My daughter has to check in by a certain date and we can not be delayed I had told them we were making that trip and that is why I was wanting new plugs and wires for better gas mileageI AM VERY UNSATISFIED HOW I WAS TREATED THERE

Hello, I recently filed a complaint against a business and I was able to resolve my financial issues with themHowever, many other people within my community do have fraud and financial complaints about this business which should probably still be looked in toAs far as my complaint for a
difference in the bill I was compensated by the owner of this establishment Thank you *** ***

Would not recommend this shop or at least ensure you get your estimate in writing before letting them touch anythingBeen duped twice by them, shame on meThe first instance I took a weedwhacker in that had quit working and was still newThe guy at the counter tells me they'll do the diagnostic for free and call me with an estimate before performing any workHe says there is a back up and they won't be able to get to it for a couple of daysA few days go by and I stop by on my way home from work on the day it should have been diagnosedThe same guy tells me they're looking at it now but they should know later on and will give me a call that evening to see what I want to doThat was on a Friday, no call, and didn't hear anything Saturday eitherI go in that next Monday after work to ask about the diagnosticOne of the mechanics catches me as I walking up with my ticket and takes it from me and goes and grabs my weed whackerHe comes up from the back with it running and revving it up to my surpriseWhen I get inside I ask the guy," what happened to the diagnostic? You guys never called me and I never authorized any repairs?" He says, "well it is already fixed it is $dollars." I say, "you guys never called and I never told you to fix it, that was more that half the cost that I paid for it to begin withIf you would have called with my estimate for repairs I would have told you not to worry about it and I would have just bought a brand new one..." I thought well I guess that is how they make their money fixing things you haven't told them to then if you don't want to pay them for it they sell your stuffI paid but was disappointed, and didn't think it would happen againThought maybe it was a fluke but noWent in be cause my car had been having this really loud rattling noiseI had done some research and someone had suggested to me that maybe it was a loose flywheel or release bearing from the new clutch I had installed recentlyThe woman at the counter this time tells me they can look at it and check it out but if it is something that they have to dig into and remove parts to find out then they have to charge me the $dollar diagnostic fee and it could take several hours and I would probably need to leave my carI say, "okay without getting too in-depth with it, if they can just see what they can see, and would that be something they could do todayShe say yes and takes my keysAbout minutes later the mechanic comes and takes me to the shop to show me what the cause wasTurns out just to be a loose Osensor, luckilyWe do the test drive and the noise is goneI go back inside to pay and the same guy from before is there to cash me out to the tune of $I tell him I can understand paying the half hour of labor but how the lady sitting next to him said that the $dollar diagnostic fee was if they had to pull stuff apartThey both deny that that was what she saidI bring up that he gave me a free diagnostic before on the weed whacker and there is some back and forth of him denying itThough he told me that $of the $was the cost of the partsI told him I think thats bogus your charging me the full diagnostic fee for tightening the OsensorThe woman insist that she said it was $for the simple check and would be more than that if they actually had to pull it apartHe eventually knocks off a whole $To add to it I got a quote directly from the mechanic that tightened my Osensor before I went inside to pay about installing some new injectors I had boughtHe quoted me $and 1/laborThe next day I called around to different shops to get more labor quotesI called Mayo and whom ever the mechanic that was put on the phone quotes me $330-$I say thats funny because I was just there yesterday and they guys said $He says, "well uh he must have looked up the wrong vehicle." Which I know is because the guy was talking to me about my specific carDon't recommend using them for anythingVery deceitful business practices

We did schedule an appointment to repair his windshield right after it happened He cancelled the appointment so we had to return the windshield He is more than welcome to reschedule anytime Thank for contacting us at Mayo Autoworks

This customer wrote down the wrong year model of his particular vehicle he wrote down 2011 and wanted an alternator put in his vehicle is a 2007 model and there were no identification marks on what year it was. you would...

think that the customer would know what kind of vehicle he or she owns and drives. I was able to warranty out his part for him. thank you for looking into this matter. ask him for a copy of his reciept and it clearly states 2011

This is [redacted] at Mayo Autoworks 2 at 2300  E Stan Schlueter Loop.  I was the one that talked to this customer.  She came in for some issues on her vehicle.  The main issue was the transmission.  She needed a lot done.  This is a 1999 Mazda 626.  We explained the...

customer that this transmission only had a 90 day warranty parts only.  So if anything went wrong with it labor would not be covered only the transmission.  She has had the car back for almost 2 months now.  it was running great after that beside the leaks that she had.  Apparently a hose busted under the vehicle.  A transmission hose.  That part was still together and working.  Parts fall apart everyday Normal ware and tare.  Even brand new part get defective.  Well we have offered the fix it but it will be $800.  We our willing to do it for $500. This repair was not paid up front.  She went thorough one of finance companies.  She is still paying on it for the next 7 months.  She can add that 500 to the bill but she would have to pay 40 percent down and the app fee. Also her son has been fixing things on this vehicle as well.  This is the best thing we can do.
