Mazda of Orange Reviews (23)

Review: I purchased a 2016 CX-5 from Mazda of Orange. Their finance department filled out the paperwork incorrectly and mixed my old address and new address together. The result is the incorrect address has been filed on all paperwork.

I have tried to contact them so we can work together to make sure everything is corrected. They have not returned my phone-calls and continuously put me on hold which will then go to voice-mail.

I am not concerned about waiting at the DMV for hours to correct the registration address (despite this being their error they won't correct). What I am concerned about is that I financed the car through Mazda. It has been 30 days since I purchased the vehicle and still have not received paperwork on how to make my monthly payments. I suspect the paperwork is undeliverable due to incorrect address provided by their finance department.

I have a credit score of 800+ and can easily pay for the vehicle, but need resolution in being sent the paperwork so I can actually pay for the vehicle. I do not understand why they are being uncooperative on this issue. I am seeking help so I can pay what I owe.Desired Settlement: I would like them to actually contact me so we can resolve the situation. I would like to get the information I need to make payments on the vehicle I purchased.

Thanks for the help.

Review: On Saturday, July 5 I walked into Mazda of Orange inquiring about a 2013 CPO Mazda 3 with 42k+ miles I found on their website listed at $13,527. I spoke to a salesmen by the name of [redacted]. Below is the link to the car I went to check out.

http://www.mazdaoforange.com/auto/used-2013-mazda-mazda3-i_sv/1723904/

After conducting a test drive, I sat down with [redacted] and his sales manager [redacted] to talk #'s on the car. I was told the car was now listed for over $14,000 dollars. In which case I proceeded to reach into my left pocket and pull out a printed page time stamped 7/5 around 11:30am with the car they claimed was over $14,000 with the sale price reading $13,527 (still).

They questioned me, and then read the timestamp and were like …oh yeah I guess you're right. Then they both proceeded to tell me that the dealership uses computer software to update internet prices due to other dealerships prices for similar make and models. Later that evening when I went home the sale price still read $13,527, and when I emailed [redacted] to ask the name of the software, he ignored my question.

It seems to me that this dealership uses bait & switch to lure potential customers in with promises of lower prices, but when looking at their inventory within the dealerships' online server the prices are increased significantly. If I did not bring my print-out they would have continued to lie to me.Desired Settlement: I would like for the Revdex.com to investigate this claim to find out I"m telling the truth. Inform Mazda of Orange of their infraction and have them issue me a written apology via email for participating in the bait & switch tactic to try and earn my business.

Secondly, I would like to see that no other potential customer will be a victim of the bait & switch from this dealership.

Lastly, if such software exists (according to the car dealership) I would like a full explanation on how it works.

Thanks.

Response:

We are certainly sorry for any misunderstanding regarding the associated complaint regarding the potential purchase of a pre-owned vehicle. We are investigating the pricing questions in the complaint and attempt to rectify this,Thanks,MWK

Review: In financing we were lied to and told the car had no security system. We thought that was odd so we asked again and were told it had none unless we purchased. We find out later it has 2 alarms when we turned off the car and noticed 2 different flashing lights. The sales manager tells us that he would have given us a discount on it but because I gave the dealership a bad review on the survey he won't. I asked for a meeting with him and he refused.Desired Settlement: Refund on security system that we would not have purchased had we known it already had one. Also [redacted] General manager to be aware of the customer service we were given from him.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

They lied about the car having a security system and so we purchased one and now they are unwilling to refund our money. This is theft and we are not the only ones this has happened to we looked online and saw similar reviews of this company. This company is stealing from honest customers and it needs to be stopped.

Response:

This sale of the alarm was fully disclosed, we are sorry for any misunderstanding, all new vehicles have a window sticker to verify all factory options. [redacted]
