Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I was given service number today by [redacted] from MCA , I called the service center which apparently they were given the wrong number by MCA, The service center does not have an available appointment till February 6th, which is about days from nowI cannot wait another two weeks to have my refrigerator repairedI need MCA to assign to another service center that will be able to schedule a repair This weekend! I am willing to spend my weekend waiting for my fridge to be repaired but I simply cannot wait another Weeksi have been patiently waiting for months for this issue to be resolved and no longer have the option to wait anymoreIf I need to wait longer than week I am asking that I get compensated for the additional week, Again I am reiterating the fact that I have to spend extra money on a daily basis to eat outside of my homePlease advise on how we will be moving forwardThank you for your ***e Sincerely, [redacted]

I am sorry the customer is having difficulty with her refrigeratorIt appears the customers contact number changed since the her original service contactI have spoken with the customer and confirmed the best contact numberThe customer should expect a call from the service center on 01/or 01/to schedule an appointment to complete the repairAlthough content loss is not covered by the product warranty, we are providing a partial refund of the customers expensesI expect this service repair will resolve the issue with the customers product

distributors Bargain Hunt is not one of themBargain Hunt describes their operations as follows "While a large portion of retailers purchase the majority of their inventory directly from the vendor, we purchase the majority of our inventory by the truck load from the nation's largest retailersInstead of taking a loss, those retailers sell us select product at deep discounts and we in turn pass *** savings on to our customers." Despite the appearance that the product is new, it is not covered by our one year parts and labor warrantyWe will warranty the product when purchased through a retailer or a retailer of a distributor we sell t
However, we would be willing to provide parts at no charge if Mr*** would like to have the product repaired at a service center in his areaSimply have the service center contact us to order the parts needed to complete the repair and reference the case number XXXXXX.They will be shipped at no charge

That is completely unacceptableYour warranty does not specify that it is only honored when purchased from a specific storeI have no knowledge as to who is and who is not a authorized vendor of magic chefI purchased a magic chef microwave sealed in the box by the factory from a national storeI was given a discount and because you do not feel I paid enough you will not honor your warranty You are acting like I purchased this at a swap meet or flee marketI have a valid receipt that reflects the actual price and my discountYour warranty does not specify that the warranty will only be honored if purchased from a specific list of storesNot stores like ***'s, *** I purchased this microwave because I had thought magic chef was a name brand productI guess I was wrongIn a sense it is nothing more than a off brand like the stores you do not honor your warranty fromAt this point I should sue you out of principle but instead I am just going to stay clear of anything made by your companyYour product has shown me that you manufacture substandard products and your customer service and honor shows me that your company is content with it

Regrettably the service center repairing Mr***'s microwave has been unsuccessful resolving the issueWe have been in
contact with Mr*** and are sending a replacement microwaveHe can expect to receive the replacement unit in approximately 5-business days

Although your appliance is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, unfortunately the warranty does not offer any coverage for content loss I do apologize for the difficulties you experienced with the first unit, however MC Appliance was not contacted for warranty service on that applianceSince the returned the previous refrigerator to the store and repurchased, the warranty is service request is based the 07/22/purchase It appears that the service technician diagnosed the appliance yesterday, and ordered parts to complete the repairUnfortunately, some of the components needed to repair your appliance are currently on back orderOur notes indicate that you contacted us after the technician indicated there would be a delay obtaining partsAnd because the delay may be excessive, we provided the only resolution available to us, which would be to provide a refund for the malfunctioning refrigeratorFor a refund to be issued a picture of the cut cord or cut power cord would need to be sent to our offices. If you would like to pursue a refund, please let us know and we will email more details.
