McMahan & Associates Reviews (35)

We have responded to the client. We did what we said we would do. There are replacement panels on the way for the unit. The client does still owe on her bill, and has not made any attempt to pay. We made concessions to assist her as much as we can.

Resolved yes, but it still does not give them permission to conduct business in this matter.I am also attaching a document from another service center as I had major car problems on Friday. I did not even bother going to Pacific Honda because this was supposed to be performed before the vehicle was even considered to be sold. This dealership has no integrity and really does not care about their customer. End of story, [redacted] took great care of my Jeep and Pacific Honda was made aware of this situation. They offered me a rental and to take the car back to fix it. I don't trust that they would have fixed the car in 1 day (as [redacted] did) and who's to say that  I would ahve ever seen my car again. This goes back to the threats [redacted] made to me during the car buying experience.

We are currently attempting to resolve this issue.  Our Client is conversing with our General Sales Manager to reach a resolution.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Please have Pacific Honda provide proof that the [redacted] vehicle I traded in was properly released from my name after the trade in in 2011, and prior to 2012 when the new owner, who purchased the truck from Pacific Honda received a parking ticket that just destroyed my credit and caused me to pay $169 out of my pocket. If this paperwork had in fact been submitted by Pacific Honda, there is no way that a year later the new owner could get a ticket that would be placed in my name. Again, I feel at this point it is Pacific Honda's responsibility to 1) Fix this issue with the DMV and notify them the vehicle was received as a trade in 2011. 2) Pay the fines I just received as a result of their falure to properly release me from ownership. 3) Contact [redacted], and [redacted] and get this removed from my credit. 4) Contact the City of San Diego and have this ticket transferred and released from my name since I had traded in the vehicle over a year before this ticket was issued to the new owner. Timeline review: 2011 - Truck traded in for a 2009 [redacted] at Pacific Honda. July 2012 - I moved to [redacted]. November 2012 - New owner of truck got a parking ticket. 2016 - I was notifed, in [redacted], of a parking ticket that had been unpaid since November 2012 on a truck I had traded in 5 years ago, and over a year before ticket received. Lost 120 points on a nearly 800 credit score, and had to pay $169 out of pocket.

[Yes, the payment was made but how does your company handle the unprofessional, threats and dishonesty of [redacted]? It must not be important to your company.   ]

We pulled the account and Mr. [redacted]urchased the unit in June, 2011, the unit is over 5 years old. The unit purchased came with a 1 year unconditional labor warranty and 10 years on parts and 10 year replacement if compressor failure.  We've done everything we said, we've been to his place,...

we've left it running every time, we've not done anything out of industry standard.  We are at the mercy of Nordyne of how long it takes to receive parts. We are no longer a Nordyne dealer and unfortunately it takes longer for our company to obtain parts. If there was a way for us to get something for him I'd be glad to do it.If Mr. Hicks would like to change the unit out into an Amana my company would install it at my company's cost, and I would need his equipment as replacement. However there's nothing more I can do with the Nordyne company.  Please see attachment for warranty information.Regards,[redacted]

Our General Sales Manager reached out to Mr. B[redacted] extend our apologies and refund the cost of the battery. Mr. [redacted] was thankful for the call.

First and foremost, I would like to apologize for the actions of the cashier and the lack of service and attention you received during your visit that has led to your distrust in our dealership. Our Service Director, [redacted]...

[redacted], has given you a call to find out more details on your experience to make sure that we can correct the issues. I can assure you that your concerns will be addressed and provide a training opportunity as we do not want this to occur again in the future, to you or any of our valued customers. Above all else, providing excellent customer service is our main goal and it is unfortunate you were not treated with the respect you deserve. Given the opportunity, we would like to go over the breakdown of the service bill and find ways we can improve. [I have not received a refund for the battery I purchased. The car was absolutely on their website at the time of this complaint being submitted. It has since been taken off. I guess I should have taken a picture. I understand that things do go wrong but Pacific Honda has done nothing to rectify the situation. They have not called me, they have not apologized, and they have not refunded me my money.]

response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. When the company sent out people to "bang out" the dents when they removed the panels, I could see the dents had not just damaged the outer panel. Looked like it also had made dents in the "not sure the correct term" but the frame ,I asked the 2 gentlemen that was "banging out the dents" and they assured me that would have no effect on the unit .Replacing the panels only fixes the appearance! When it is apparent I was sold a damaged unit when it was agreed upon a new unit. From the beginning I was unhappy and unsure what to do, I made several attempts to contact the owner that sold me the unit I sent pictures of the damages and got no response even after leaving messages I still to this day have not heard from the owner that sold it to me , When finally I got a hold of someone only offer was to bang out the dents. This is not acceptable I am paying for a new unit and that is what I want , I have no idea how those dents was made and I fear about the damage I can't see.   I have paid in full 5,000 but I also do have 300.00 remaining balance but was told by the owner I could pay it off with my taxes next year.
