I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me as long as the vehicle is returned to the same condition as received by CAR-XThe heads installed on this car are freshly refinished with very little mileage and use on them and were professionally done, installed and running without any issues when CAR-X received the vehicle for warranty workI honestly and not concerned on who admits what, but only that the end result that the issue is corrected to the original condition.I agree that CAR-X is to transport the vehicle to their repair facility and perform repairs to the engine that was caused by the timing being incorrect with the engine crankedI agree to hold CAR-X to this repair only and do not expect or request any further work, unless further damage is caused by CAR-X personnelI will mention that I felt somewhat let down by the entire process and hope in the future that CAR-X can remove themselves from the business practices I experienced with them.I am requesting a detailed description of the repairs to be made to document the engine to include the components replaced, and further request that if ANY issues arise, however minor in nature, that I be contacted to be made aware before any troubleshooting, work or transportation of the vehicle is done

I am rejecting this response because: They wanted us to sign a waiver, we asked for the money back, but we could only get that money back if we signed this waiver, basically signing our rights away, they offered us to fix the vehicle also but only if we signed that same waiver saying that if anything else happen to the vehicle it's not their faultAnd I believe with all I [redacted] had to deal with, with all the misleadings of the company deserved to get my money back and my vehicle fixed because not only did the manager [redacted] curse and harass me by throwing kisses at me, they made more damages to my vehicle and don't want to take fault in their doingsThe district manager failed to mention to the Revdex.com that his workers at the other location knew in less than a minute what my problem was and pointed it out in front of him, but his workers at the culebra location couldn't tell me anything , and when my husband asked him if he has non licensed mechanics there the district manager Thomas couldn't answer himAll we wanted was our money back but not sign that waiver but they insisted we signedBut we didn'tWhen we asked to take that waiver to the attorney so they can look it over, all of a sudden they didn't have that waiver and said they would email, which they haven'tSo we are filing with the DTPA? Because the business did wrongIf they didn't do wrong why would I need to sign a waiver that I wouldn't sue.?

I have not heard back from our customer in regards to what the other businesses involved are planning on doing to help resolve this issue.? Even though we did not diagnose all of the problems with the vehicle that was just purchased, we did diagnose legitimate problems and resolved the issues that we did find.? I urge the customer to call me with an update on where the other business's stand on this issue that Car-X did not create so we can plan our next attempt to resolve this

I have been in contact with this customer and we discussed his issue in length.  We both agree that another one and possibly two other parties should be responsible for his issue and we are awaiting their response before proceeding.

Car-X made contact with this customer, apologized for the behavior of the employees and informed them that the employees involved were reprimanded, and counseled on how to handle a customer that is not satisfied with our service. We then scheduled the customer to bring their car to a different...

facility and we identified the problem with the vehicle.  We attempted to repair it at no charge to the customer but the customer refused and wanted us to fix it and refund money that was spent on a separate problem, which was not what was requested in their initial complaint.  We then offered the customer their money back, which is what they initially requested, and that was not finalized either due to the customer wanting to speak with an attorney.  Car-X has made the effort to give this customer what they requested in their complaint and the customer is unwilling to proceed at this time.

After further investigation, Car-X and [redacted] have determined that someone cranked the vehicle without the crank pulley installed causing internal damage.  Car-X is not accepting fault for this damage but as you know, Car-X is a Texas approved AAA auto repair center and we maintain an A+ rating with the Revdex.com.  In the interest of customer service, we will agree to remove the cylinder heads and inspect the damage to verify and if the damage was caused by cranking the engine while the timing was off, we will repair the condition as needed.  This will be done with the understanding that any other conditions that may exist unrelated to the timing will not be included with the repair.

because: CarX admitted they could have done a better job finding the original problem and spokesman was upset thery lost added revinue thery could have obtained,  had they done a better job of diagnosing and resolving the problem.

bypassed. I already provided each level of management and opportunity to resolve this matter at their own level and that has failed to occur. Thank you.
