Med Loan Finance Reviews (26)

To date they have not communicated or refunded back my $They have experience in dealing with disputes to keep other people's money rather than refund backThey blame the victim I never agreed to pay them $for a non usable, deactivated [redacted] credit card! I gave [redacted] several documents of which is exactly what they asked me for - they are non cooperative! [redacted] asked me for my Rental Lease - I submitted it and they called it a "Third Party Lease" and unacceptableI can't do anything else for them The lease is in fact a two-party lease between the Land Lady and me, yet they argue, it is their opinion, it is a "Third Party" lease Ignorant beyond belief! There is no other lease to give them, so I don't get the credit card and Med Loan Finance owes me back the fee I paid them for that card Greedy beyond

I would like to respond to items of the complainant.Customer’s Statement of the Problem:1) I needed to get a medical procedure done that unfortunately my health insurance would not payI was advised for a medical loanUpon researching online I found this company Med Loan FinancesOn their site they state that they would help in finding a lender to help pay my medical bills once I placed my application.RESPONSE This is correct2) Upon my application they asked for my credit card information to validate my credit score,RESPONSE This is a statementThe consumer filled out her credit card information on our Loan Search Form, which states it is a legal binding agreement and supersedes any oral/written agreement or discussion(s) It states nothing about validating credit scoreI have attached a copy of the Loan Search Form consumer filled out.3) then after they found a lender or an option to better help my needs that I approved of, then there would be a processing fee, but no amount was stated as in how much I would be chargedRESPONSE This is a statementWith the Prime Program that consumer selected, it states “(CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD LISTED BELOW AT TIME OF APPROVAL)”It also states “This Program may include Credit Cards for Medical Purposes”It also explains the fees in full detail based on the amount approved4) Only when the loan was approved a percentage would be taken out from the loan amountSeveral hours later I received an e-mail stating I was approved for three credit cards and no other information regarding why I was denied a loan from a lender.RESPONSE This is a statementOn the Loan Search Form it does not state anything about a percentage taken out from loan amountThis is for some of our other lending programs, but not stated on this contract/formThe consumer did not provide the name of their providerWe have traditional loans available, but the provider has to be signed up on those programsOn the Loan Search Form it states, “I fully understand my credit request may be presented to multiple credit issuing companies and/or search companies including (but not limited to) Banks, Finance Companies, Credit Card Issuers, and partnership programs with other such affiliated companies as agreed to on my submitted application.” The best option without a provider filled in is our credit card program5) I tried to contact their toll free number and never received an answer nor was I able to deny the credit cards.RESPONSE I am not sure when you tried to call us, but if you did not leave a message, we would not know that we needed to call backAlso with the program consumer selected, denying the credit cards is not an option.6) I then checked the credit card I used to validate my credit only to find out I was charged $1,by this company for the processing fee and it overcharged my account.RESPONSE This is what was agreed to by consumer by electronically signing the Loan Search Form agreement, which includes her IP address and credit card information she providedWe are sorry it overcharged her account, but the Loan Search Form she agreed was to be charged at time of approval and we have no control on consumers account balances.7) I immediately called my card company Citi bank and filed a fraud because I did not authorize that transaction, RESPONSE This statement is false, consumer did authorize transaction with Loan Search Form.8) Citi bank then did a charge back to my accountThis occurred on 1/16/For two weeks after that I continued to call the toll free number and left messages for someone to contact me, which no one did, so I believed the matter was settledRESPONSE When a consumer files a charge back, we submit information to support our side of the chargebackWhile it is in review we do not communicate with consumer, as to keep the facts straightWhen we get a decision, then we decide on actions.9) Only to receive a call from [redacted] 2/17/at 5:15pm that they received notice that I refused to pay my processing fee and if I did not pay they would send to a collection agency that could charge 35-50% more and I would be looking at paying close to $2000.RESPONSE This statement is correctOn the Loan Search Form it states, “ If any legal/ collection fees are required to assist in collecting on accounts in default of this agreement, these fees will be added in addition to the Med Loan Finance fee amount as disclosed above“Consumers is in default of contract and these are fees required to assist in collecting our fees as agreed to.10) I told [redacted] that this was not right because I did not to apply for credit cards if that was the case I could of done it myself, that I wanted a loan from a lenderThey didn't send me an agreement letter to these 'terms' she stated nor a debt validation letterRESPONSE On the Loan Search form that consumer filled out at very beginning, all terms were disclosed, and agreed to by consumerIt states “Borrower(s): Do not sign this document unless you understand it!” and then has an area where consumer had to check that states “ I agree to the terms and conditions as outlined above.” It also discloses about being presented to credit cards as discussed in response to #above..Desired Settlement: 11) I do not want to be charged a processing fee that I did not agree on nor was I informed of.RESPONSE This is a statementConsumer was fully aware and agreed to our Loan Search Form, prior to being submitted to any of our lending partnersConsumer was fully informed of this fee12) I would also like to have this company reported to the media because they are taking advantage of citizens like myself who are in need of medical care but their insurance will not pay nor can the individual pay out of pocket.RESPONSE We have been processing loans since We process 1,000’s of applications weekly and disclose everything upfrontI am sorry that the consumer feels that they can unilaterally change an agreement that they electronically signedWe can provide all supporting documentation to any media, but feel that it would not be in the best interest of the consumer.13) Upon further research I did, this company has multiple websites with different entities claiming to help you apply for loansI feel taken advantage of due to my medical conditionRESPONSE We have no idea of what your medical condition is and treat each and every consumer with best options for their lending needs

I would like to respond to items of the complainant Customer’s Statement of the Problem: 1) Med Loan Finance made a claim on my credit report RESPONSE This statement is false The claim on complainant’s credit report is accurate 2) Back in we inquired about a loan for medical procedure from Med LoanAfter we found out that they basically apply for several credit cards for you, we decided against using themThey claimed that we owed them a $fee even though we didn't ever authorize or use their service RESPONSE Complainant applied for credit which included credit cards on October 10, Complainant filled out our Loan Search Form, a legal binding agreement on that date On this form it states, “This Program may include Credit Cards” and on both the application and Loan Search Form it additionally states, “I fully understand my credit request may be presented to multiple credit issuing companies and/or search companies including (but not limited to) Banks, Finance Companies, Credit Card Issuers, and partnership programs with other such affiliated companies as agreed to on my submitted application.” The complainant had to check and agree to, “Borrower(s): Do not sign this document unless you understand it!, I agree to the terms and conditions as outlined above.” Complainant did check and agree to this statementBy agreeing they did authorize us for the fees for our services with the Prime Program, they selected The fee owed was $3) Now years later, they put a claim on my credit report for $I will not pay for something that we never usedThey are thiefs and need to be shut downThere are hundreds of other online complaints about similar instances with other people and Med Loan RESPONSE This claim was filed on 10/02/2012, not something recentWe notified complainant on 10/12/that they owed our fee We then sent a copy of the Loan Search Form on 10/12/On 11/22/we sent an follow up letter about feesOn 8/14/we sent a collection letter to complainantOn 8/29/we sent a final collection letter explaining that it would go to collections On 10/02/we submitted the file to our collection companyOn 6/03/complainant called and said she was not going to pay and hung up on usOn the Loan Search Form agreement, it states, “If any legal/ collection fees are required to assist in collecting on accounts in default of this agreement, these fees will be added in addition to the Med Loan Finance fee amount as disclosed above.” The total owed for our fees and collection fees is the $ Complainant agreed to be charged when they filled out the Loan Search FormThe fee for the program complainant is based on approvals, not whether they used the cards or notWe have been in business since and process 1,000’s of applications weekly and has not had 100’s of online complaints as complainant has statedDesired Settlement: I would like the negative claim on my credit report removed immediately RESPONSE The collection company will remove the negative claim after it is paid in full Complainant agreed to terms and conditions of what is owed

I would like to respond to items of the complainant Complaint Details 1) I contact Med Loan Finance because they were referred to me by the surgeon's office for my upcoming procedureI now feel like an it for doing business with them This company misleads you into thinking they will service loans for you RESPONSE We have never stated that we service loans On all forms and on our website we state that we are a loan processing company that offers traditional loans, credit cards and other partnership programs 2) In reality, they simply applied for credit cards for me and then charged me a $finders fee RESPONSE Complainant agreed to fees at the very beginning of process The Loan Search Form also stated that it may include credit cardsIt also states that we will be acting as a fee based credit processing agent 3) I asked for clarification on the accounts and was given incorrect and misleading information RESPONSE An email was sent to consumer on August with all of the details of the approvalConsumer replied with a question in regard to not using the entire amount, to which we replied to Consumer was very happy at this point and we feel she was not confused at all and not given any incorrect or misleading information 4) My communications with MLF keep calling these "loans" for $3,000, but really they are credit cards with $3,credit limits RESPONSE Again in the email we stated which credit cards we have obtained approvals for along with their credit limits This was the best option of programs for this consumer with her provider 5) When I asked MLF when the 0% APR Introductory Rate began, [redacted] , the person I communicated with, allegedly went to check and then told me that it begins when the card is activatedUpon receiving that knowledge, I accepted the offer (many months before I needed to use the cards) and paid the $Now that I have the cards in my possession and I can clearly see that they are just regular old credit cards, I can do my own research and it's clearly stated on the card terms that the 0% interest rate begins upon opening of the accountThe account was opened regardless of whether I activated the cards or notSo basically I'm out $and I'm losing nearly months of 0% APR opportunity RESPONSE Consumer never stated that she was trying to obtain credit for months in the future If she would have, we would have suggested to not applying until a month prior to procedure Again consumer corresponded satisfaction through emails and this is the first time that this issue of applying early was brought up Desired Outcome/Settlement Desired Settlement: Refund I want a full refund of the $service fee I paid to Med Loan Finance due to their misleading and incorrect informationI never would have used their "service" had I known that it was just a credit card applicationI never would have accepted their offer if I'd known the details about the credit cards I was being approved for RESPONSE There was no misleading or incorrect information given The approvals were sent in an email, in which consumer replied with questions, which were answered We provided our service as agreed to on the Loan Search Form No refund will be offered Thanks, [redacted] [redacted] Med Loan Finance.com ¨ Back Loan Finance.com ¨ Dental Loan Finance.com ¨ Funeral Loan Finance.com [redacted] ***th Terrace Overland Park, KS Toll Free Number (800) 504-or Toll Free Fax (800) 555-

I would like to respond to items of the rejection of response from
complainant
1) I received an email from the
company my wife contacted, inquiring about a loan, with her and my information
She has my social security number and emailAs far as I knew it was an email
telling me I was approved for this "loan"
RESPONSE The email did contain
approval, and also restated the terms and conditions for cancellation, which
had been agreed to by the complainant at the very beginning of the processOn
original complaint #1, complainant states, “My husband and I applied”, this
contradicts what is now being claimed
2.)The amount wasn't sufficient
to what we needed, so we decided to look elsewhereAs with any other loan, I
didn't contact them because I didn't want itI never had directly contacted
this company myself
RESPONSE Again the approval email
and the Loan Search Form agreed to by complainant explained the terms and
conditions and the cancellation policy. Additionally on original complaint #1,
complainant states, “My husband and I applied”, this contradicts what is now being
claimed
3) A couple weeks later I
recieved a credit card from Discover CardI had not applied for any credit
cardsA day later I received another email from the "loan" company
saying that since I did not contact them that it meant I accepted this loan and
would be receiving a card from Discover and Capital One, and that I owed them
$
RESPONSE This is correct, on the application
and the Loan Search Form it states times that they may be presented to credit
cards which were agreed to by the complainant
4) I called the loan company
and was told that I owed the money and they would pursue it through
collections, regardless that I had not directly applied for this loanMy wife
had been denied, so it was just under me even though they never spoke to me
RESPONSE This is correct. We did send emails and left messages and
talked to complainant’s spouse who was on the application and Loan Search Form
along with complainant and who electronically agreed to terms and conditions
5) I then contacted Discover
and their Fraud Dept reversed the card and closed the account citing it as
fraudAbout a week later I recieved the Capital One card, and I contacted
their Fraud Dept and the same thing was doneBoth card companies had not heard
of this loan company
RESPONSE The Loan Search Form
agreement was to help obtain credit, which we did as per the terms and
agreement. What the complainant did
after our transaction was complete is completely up to him. It has no bearing on the agreement that was
filled out and agreed to by the complainant
6) I have since received
another email telling me they are pursuing collections to receive the $On
November 17th 2015, both my wife and I received phone two calls stating
that the new total was $
RESPONSE This is correct. On the Loan Search Form, it states “If any legal/ collection fees are
required to assist in collecting on accounts in default of this agreement,
these fees will be added in addition to
the Med Loan Finance fee” We had sent
complainant emails and discussed with complainant prior to turning over to
collections. The trying to collect was brought up by
complainant in original complaint #

I am rejecting this response because: yes it was agreed upon if I was getting a card I declined the card yet was still charge so explain to me why was I still being charged *** *** even disclose the fact that I refuse to open the account therefore I can't be charged for something that I never opened there was no account open with *** *** which was the company and what you apply for the card with I was asked if I did open the account I asked them to not open the account they said not a problem letter is also being sent out from *** *** to prove that no account was open on my behalf for this therefore I don't have an account so why was I charged?

I am rejecting this response because:Mr*** was not on the call when I initially spoke with his employee who specifically told me they did loans, not credit cards.I did not give medLoanFinane authorization to apply for credit cards. How do you respond to the fact that you are no longer able to offer financing to the clients of Dr***? How do you explain that after what I presented to the practice they were shocked at what your company did to us? How do you explain that days after I filed an identity theft and a complaint against your company with the Federal Trade Commission and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau someone who had all of my information contacted one of my existing credit cards (Discover), the only card that had the password as my mother's maiden name that is Ukrainian and the only people that knew the spelling were me, Discover and YOU, because you asked for that information on your loan applicationThe person called, changed all of the information on the account, address, phone #, email, added an authorized user, had a card expressed mail to them, gained online access to my account, made a payment out of my checking account on the credit card for over $4,000....but luckily Discover realized that there was something wrong and called me and then I had to deal with that whole situation. It is also important to note that on your website it actually shows that you can Estimate your LOAN paymentIt does not say, estimate your credit card repaymentIf MedLoanFinance is able to get me a real Medical Loan with 0% Interest for up to months, then I am very willing to pay the hefty feeUnfortunately I had to pay the clinic within days and I have already made the paymentSo, MedLoanFinance received $for nothing, for turning what should have been a happy occasion of starting my Fertility treatments in the hopes of having a baby, I have been dealing with closing credit card accounts, filing complaints with every company I can, dealing with disputing the chargeSo basically Mr***, for the price of $you turned my life into hellSo, thank you.

I would like to respond to items of the complainantCustomer’s Statement of the Problem: 1) I needed a medical procedure doneI found their pamphlet from doctor’s officeI thought it was a reputable company.RESPONSE: Med Loan Finance has been in the financing business since 2) I signed up
thinking that I was applying for a medical loanRESPONSE: On the Application and Loan Search Form it states, “I fully understand my credit request may be presented to multiple credit issuing companies and/or search companies including (but not limited to) Banks, Finance Companies, Credit Card Issuers, and partnership programs with other such affiliated companies” Additionally on the Loan Search Form it states, “This Program may include Credit Cards for Medical Purposes” with the Prime program customer selectedMed Loan Finance offers traditional loans, however they do not offer 0% for 12-months, unless the doctor agrees to that program3) It turned out that they had opened a credit card in my nameNot just one but of themOn top of it they charged an astronomical fee up front! First transaction was $on $loan that made it 8.4% (for credit cards)One card has months interest free and the other has monthsI have a credit card that I can do balance transfer for only 4% interest for months no interest fee as well without having to pay any other fee! I am a person with a good credit scoreI could go out and get a credit card anytime but that’s not how I want to approach it with my procedureI have worked hard to keep my score up and pay my bills on timeRESPONSE: These fees were fully disclosed and electronically agreed to by customer on the Loan Search Form agreement. Customer also had to check that “I agree to the terms and conditions as outlined above.” And right above that it states, “Borrower(s): Do not sign this document unless you understand it!” With the Prime Option customer selected it states,”(CHARGE MY CREDIT CARD LISTED BELOW AT TIME OF APPROVAL)” on the Loan Search Form a 10% discount is offered if programs we obtained with the following criteria as it states, “12-Months Interest Free”, “Program/Lender Fees:$As customer stated above our offers meet that criteria.4) I let them know right away that I do not wish to proceed after getting $chargedThen a few days later I got another charge for $This is for them to open up another credit cards with similar deals of 12-interest free with $credit lineRESPONSE: With the Prime Program customer selected on the Loan Search Form, it states, “Med Loan Finance Fees WILL BE CHARGED at time of APPROVAL*”, *Approval is considered when offer is obtained, not at point of activation.” Customer was in review with the additional credit cards, once we received the approval, the amount charged was to cover the diference for the total amount customer had applied for. We did not charge any fee that was not agreed to.5) If I wanted to use a credit card, I would just apply it myselfI thought I was applying a loan with some kind of financial institutionThey insisted that I signed an agreement to pay the fee but obviously I didn’t clearly understand what I was signingRESPONSE: As stated in Response to item above, the Loan Search Form Agreement states right above where the customer electronically agreed to and signed, “Borrower(s): Do not sign this document unless you understand it!” If customer would have originally called we would have explained the different options. Also we could have explained the fees if there were any questions, however, customer filled out Loan Search Form on her own at her own computer with plenty of time to review the agreement.6) Why is it a non-refundable if I don’t intend to use these cards that they have applied in my name? I feel like it’s a trapIf they are legitimate company and confident in their service why a no refund policyRESPONSE: On the Loan Search Form, there are two options where there is a cancellation periodCustomer did not select these optionsAgain everything was fully disclosed on the Loan Search Form and electronically agreed to and signed by customer.7) I have canceled all the cards because I have on intended of using itI had no idea a credit card can be applied by a third partyI’m sure their business is beneficial to some people but I don’t think their term of nonrefundable fee is fair to the consumerThey shouldn't be taking advantage of customer especially when are they are seeking medical treatments I have reached out to them and tried to solve this issue hoping they would consider refunding my money since I won’t be using the cards and not their services but it was unsuccessfulThey only care about making their bucks and doesn’t care howRESPONSE: On the Loan Search Form as stated in Response to item 4, the fee is based upon approval, not whether the customer activated or cancelled the cards. The customer states that she did receive these cards, but cancelling them was her choice. Our services were performed as outlined on the Loan Search Form and electronically agreed to by the customer. Med Loan Finance strives to fully disclose and answer any questions about our programs with its customers, we cannot help if a customer agrees to a legal binding agreement and does not read it, when we make them check different boxes including that they agree to the terms and conditions of the agreement.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to refund my money since they didn't provide any service of valueThey need to remove the nonrefundable policyIt's trap to a consumer! RESPONSE: We performed our services as the Loan Search Form states, which the customer electronically agreed to itWe do have a refund policy on two other options as stated in response to item Since we preformed or services that were agreed to by customer, no refund will be offeredTell us why here

I am rejecting this response because:
Their response doesn't in any way address my issuesI never would have paid them $to apply for a credit card I could have applied for on my own at no chargeAlso, they agreed to not charge me the fee after I complained if I dropped my complaintI couldn't drop it because Revdex.com doesn't allow that, but by paying I am in no way agreeing with their claims

I would like to respond to items of the complainantCustomer’s Statement of the Problem: 1) I found this company on my Fertility Clinic's websiteI looked at about different companies for Medical Loan financingI even called and spoke to a representative that told me that
MedLoanFinance now offers loans with up to month of Interestof course I could not find any other company to beat this so I applied online RESPONSE We have programs that offer up to months with 0% Interest, we never said loans 2) From everything I read on their website there was nothing indicating that I will be getting a regular credit card RESPONSE This statement is false, on the application and the loan search form it states that offers could include credit cards. With the option complainant selected, it specifically states that it may include credit cardsIt states credit cards a total of times on these forms 3) Actually our information was used to get a Freedom *** cc and a Capital One cc for my husband and I was approved for a *** Freedom card as I already have cc with *** Southwest and Disney rewardsDuring the online application I did agree to be charged a fee because a medical loan with interest for month is better than a credit card debt of when you are trying to buy a house RESPONSE Again it did not specify Loan, and as stated in response to item above it says credit cardsFurthermore we have no knowledge about customers other plans for financing that we are not involved in 4) I of course tried to cancel this application that same day but of course no refunds RESPONSE With the option the complainant selected a 10% discount if offered in lieu of a cancelation period as long as the offer we obtained meets the criteria listed on the Loan Search Form, which it didWith this program customer agrees to be charged at the time of approval. Approval is considered when offer is obtained as the Loan Search Form states 5) When I questioned why they applied for credit cards I received an email reply "you authorized us to do that" RESPONSE This is a true statement; complainant did authorize us on the Loan Search Form 6) The company's owner blamed the Clinic and stated that it is the Doctor who chose only credit cards for his clienteleWhen I spoke with the Doctor's office they were appalled and started their own investigation no results yetAt least MedLoanFinance was removed from the Clinic's website and customers will no longer be referred to them for financing as they did not follow the agreement between the Clinic and this Company RESPONSE We did explain that we do offer loans, however the Doctor the complainant was working with does not participate in that program. For the doctor to participate on that program the doctor is charged a fee by the lender and the doctor did not want to be charged a fee 7) Also I was charged for this serviceNo one in the world would agree with me that this company had the right to apply for credit cards in our names only advise us of that they opened and in that email they cautioned us to make sure and say YES that we did indeed apply with *** in case they call to verify a red flag and we only found out about the other credit cards by pulling our credit reportsI hope this company will not be allowed to do business and I hope everyone resea RESPONSE Because of identity theft most of our partners will call to verify the information submitted, since they do not require paystubs or proof of address. This is for protection of the consumerComplainant charged back her fee with her credit card times, and each time they found that we had fully disclosed everything and that complainant had agreed to our terms and conditions as outlined on the Loan Search Form, so they did not reverse charge and instead honored our charge Desired Settlement: I would Like Med Loan Finance to change the information on their website to clearly indicate that if your credit score is good above or so that your information will be used to apply for a credit card or cards and not an actual real Medical LoanThe information on the website is misleading and when I spoke to a customer service representative before applying I was also mislead by being told the company offers LOANS and the credit card option was never mentioned during the conversation. RESPONSE We cannot state that it will not be a loan, because we do offer loans in addition to other programs on both the application and Loan Search Form.as it states the programs we offer are fully disclosed. We have been in the Finance Processing business since and we pride ourselves on fully disclosing everything

is a legal binding agreement and discloses all the terms and conditions. This contract was filled out and agreed to by
complainant at very beginning of process.
I have attached a copy of this form.
It states “Borrower(s) Do not sign this document unless you understand
itThen consumer checked a box stating “I agree to the terms and conditions as
outlined above” It's

on the Loan Search Form that the $1,that she owes is less than $1,
for selecting other programs. They
called me with in hr of filling out for the cc saying I owe thm 1200.00. RESPONSE So we did our service as outlined on

in collecting on accounts in default of this agreement, these fees will be
added in addition to the Med Loan Finance fee amount as disclosed above.” If it goes to collections consumer will owe ~$2,
after fees So

2015.

Customer’s Statement of the Problem:
1) Not knowing that Med Loan Finance
is not the lending company, they are a broker for credit card companies
RESPONSE The fact that we are not a lending company is
fully
disclosed on the application and also on the Loan Search Form complainant
filled out. We offer both traditional
loans and credit cards, again this is disclosed on both of these forms
2) Not knowing they charge a high
fee to do something people can do themselves directly to the credit card
companies
RESPONSE The fees were fully disclosed and agreed to by complainant
on the Loan Search Form
3) Communicating with Med Loan
Finance is lacking, slow or no response
RESPONSE The complainant filled out application and Loan Search Form
and within hours had an approval and fee was charged as agreed to on the Loan
Search Form. She was then emailed about
approval and fee being charged as agreed to.
Not sure what was slow or no response
4) They want to charge you and they will fight
you rather than refund you*** *** approved me a credit card, then soon
after approving me, *** *** deactivated the cardThey are extremely

RESPONSE The fee was agreed to on the Loan Search Form. It states, “Approval is considered when offer
is obtained, not at point of activation.” The application and Loan Search Form also
state, “I/we also understand that we may receive direct contact from lenders
and finance companies that are considering a lending decision.” We obtained the approval, it is not our fault
that complainant could not supply lender with supporting documentation they
requested
5) They also notify Med Loan Finance
if you login and Med Loan Finance are not trusting because they cannot be
trusted! I communicated with Med Loan Finance about *** *** not giving me
the credit card after all and asked for a $refundNo matter how hard you
try, comply, prove to them, Med Loan Finance ignored me, delayed responding,
then they knowing how to respond to disputes in order to steal your money! They
are unethical, greedy, deceitful!
RESPONSE
Again, everything was fully
disclosed and agreed to by complainant.
We provided our service which was obtaining an offer. The fee is based on the offer with the option
she selected
Desired Settlement:
Give me my money back and shut your doors - stop stealing
from people!
RESPONSE We have been in
business since 2002. We pride ourselves
on disclosing everything. We process
1000’s of applications weekly and help many obtain funds that they could not
get. No refund will be given

I would like to respond to items of the complainant.   Customer’s Statement of the Problem: 1) Med Loan Finance made a false claim on my credit report.   RESPONSE This statement is false.  The claim on complainant’s credit report is accurate.   2) Back in 2011 we inquired about...

a loan for medical procedure from Med Loan. After we found out that they basically apply for several credit cards for you, we decided against using them. They claimed that we owed them a $450 fee even though we didn't ever authorize or use their service.   RESPONSE Complainant applied for credit which included credit cards on October 10, 2011.  Complainant filled out our Loan Search Form, a legal binding agreement on that date.  On this form it states, “This Program may include Credit Cards” and on both the application and Loan Search Form it additionally states, “I fully understand my credit request may be presented to multiple credit issuing companies and/or search companies including (but not limited to) Banks, Finance Companies, Credit Card Issuers, and partnership programs with other such affiliated companies as agreed to on my submitted application.”.  The complainant had to check and agree to, “Borrower(s): Do not sign this document unless you understand it!, I agree to the terms and conditions as outlined above.” Complainant did check and agree to this statement. By agreeing they did authorize us for the fees for our services with the Prime Program, they selected.  The fee owed was $445.50. 3) Now 6 years later, they put a claim on my credit report for $950. I will not pay for something that we never used. They are thiefs and need to be shut down. There are hundreds of other online complaints about similar instances with other people and Med Loan.   RESPONSE This claim was filed on 10/02/2012, not something recent. We notified complainant on 10/12/2011 that they owed our fee.  We then sent a copy of the Loan Search Form on 10/12/2011. On 11/22/2011 we sent an follow up letter about fees. On 8/14/2012 we sent a collection letter to complainant. On 8/29/2012 we sent a final collection letter explaining that it would go to collections.  On 10/02/2012 we submitted the file to our collection company. On 6/03/2013 complainant called and said she was not going to pay and hung up on us. On the Loan Search Form agreement, it states, “If any legal/ collection fees are required to assist in collecting on accounts in default of this agreement, these fees will be added in addition to the Med Loan Finance fee amount as disclosed above.”  The total owed for our fees and collection fees is the $950.00.  Complainant agreed to be charged when they filled out the Loan Search Form. The fee for the program complainant is based on approvals, not whether they used the cards or not. We have been in business since 2003 and process 1,000’s of applications weekly and has not had 100’s of online complaints as complainant has stated. Desired Settlement:  I would like the negative claim on my credit report removed immediately.  RESPONSE The collection company will remove the negative claim after it is paid in full.  Complainant agreed to terms and conditions of what is owed.

To date they have not communicated or refunded back my $445. They have experience in dealing with disputes to keep other people's money rather than refund back. They blame the victim.  I never agreed to pay them $445 for a non usable, deactivated [redacted] credit card!  I gave [redacted] several documents of which is exactly what they asked me for - they are non cooperative!  [redacted] asked me for my Rental Lease - I submitted it and they called it a "Third Party Lease" and unacceptable. I can't do anything else for them.  The lease is in fact a two-party lease between the Land Lady and me, yet they argue, it is their opinion, it is a "Third Party" lease.  Ignorant beyond belief!  There is no other lease to give them, so I don't get the credit card and Med Loan Finance owes me back the fee I paid them for that card.  Greedy beyond . . .

I would like to
respond to items of the complainant.
Customer’s Statement of the Problem:
1) I applied for a loan through MedLoanFinance.com in February 2015. After I
was approved for a credit card through another company,
RESPONSE We obtained the approval for the complainant. ...

We sent her notification on February 4, 2015
along with the amount she was approved for.
2) I immediately sent an email
declining their offer instead opting to go directly to the credit card
company's website.
RESPONSE We did receive a cancel email on February 4, 2015.
3) About two weeks later, I received
a credit card from [redacted], where I had applied. Not knowing that it was
from MedLoanFinance.com, as there was no indication from the literature
received with the card,
RESPONSE If complainant had applied directly
we would not have received email about her account. In the email and on the
message we left you it included that we had you approved with [redacted] and
Loan Search Form also stated “”If
borrower activates offer(s) after we receive a cancel notice, borrower agrees
to have their fee charged immediately as outlined above.”  This was also agreed to on the Loan Search Form,
which complainant electronically signed on February 3, 2015.
4) I activated it. Eight months
later, in October of 2015, I received a charge of $395.00 to my bank account
from MedLoanFinance.com with no warning that the fee would be charged.
RESPONSE As explained on Item 3 above it
states “”If
borrower activates offer(s) after we receive a cancel notice, borrower agrees
to have their fee charged immediately as outlined above.”  This was also agreed to on the Loan Search Form,
which complainant electronically signed on February 3, 2015. Complainant states
her that she did activate it.  We didn’t receive
email about that the account had been activated until October 8, 2015.  Complainant had agreed to on the Loan Search
Form to be charged immediately if they activate or use card.  This agreed to fee was also outlined on the
Loan Search Form.  Complainant also was
resent this Loan Search Form agreement when she requested it.
5) I contacted the office, only to be rudely hung up on after given a
generalized explanation of the Terms and Conditions.
RESPONSE On this phone call,
complainant started using abusive language.
We told her that there was no need to use them, and if she continued
that we would terminate the call.  She continued
to use abusive language and then we disconnected the call.
Desired Settlement:
6) I would like a refund of the full fee amount. The fee was
charged in an untimely manner without notification of a fee being charged.
RESPONSE
No refund will be offered, all terms
were fully disclosed and agreed to by the complainant.  In regard to the time frame, she had agreed
to be charged immediately when we find out they had activated their card.  We did not receive an email from [redacted]
until October.
7) Also, as I declined the original offer, which
MedLoanFinance.com agreed to, how would I have any indication that any credit
card which is sent to me, especially if I applied to the exact same company in
which I was approved, was brokered by MedLoanFinance.com?
RESPONSE Again if complainant had applied, we would not have received
email from [redacted], it would have gone directly to her email and not ours.

I would like to respond to items of the complainant.  Complaint Details  1)    I contact Med Loan Finance because they were referred to me by the surgeon's office for my upcoming procedure. I now feel like an it for doing business with them.  This company misleads...

you into thinking they will service loans for you.   RESPONSE We have never stated that we service loans.  On all forms and on our website we state that we are a loan processing company that offers traditional loans, credit  cards and other partnership programs.   2)    In reality, they simply applied for credit cards for me and then charged me a $535.50 finders fee.   RESPONSE Complainant agreed to fees at the very beginning of process.  The Loan Search Form also stated that it may include credit cards. It also states that we will be  acting as a fee based credit processing agent.   3)    I asked for clarification on the accounts and was given incorrect and misleading information.   RESPONSE An email was sent to consumer on August 30 with all of the details of the approval. Consumer replied with a question in regard to not using the entire amount, to  which we replied to.  Consumer was very happy at this point and we feel she was not confused at all and not given any incorrect or misleading information.   4)    1. My communications with MLF keep calling these "loans" for $3,000, but really they are credit cards with $3,000 credit limits.   RESPONSE Again in the email we stated which credit cards we have obtained approvals for along with their credit limits.  This was the best option of programs for this  consumer with her provider.   5)    2. When I asked MLF when the 0% APR Introductory Rate began, [redacted], the person I communicated with, allegedly went to check and then told me that it begins when the card is activated. Upon receiving that knowledge, I accepted the offer (many months before I needed to use the cards) and paid the $500. Now that I have the cards in my possession and I can clearly see that they are just regular old credit cards, I can do my own research and it's clearly stated on the card terms that the 0% interest rate begins upon opening of the account. The account was opened regardless of whether I activated the cards or not. So basically I'm out $535.50 and I'm losing nearly 6 months of 0% APR opportunity.   RESPONSE Consumer never stated that she was trying to obtain credit for 6 months in the future.  If she would have, we would have suggested to not applying until a month  prior to procedure.  Again consumer corresponded satisfaction through emails and this is the first time that this issue of applying early was brought up.  Desired Outcome/Settlement  Desired Settlement: Refund I want a full refund of the $535.50 service fee I paid to Med Loan Finance due to their misleading and incorrect information. I never would have used their "service" had I known that it was just a credit card application. I never would have accepted their offer if I'd known the details about the credit cards I was being approved for.   RESPONSE There was no misleading or incorrect information given.  The approvals were sent in an email, in which consumer replied with questions, which were answered.  We  provided our service as agreed to on the Loan Search Form.  No refund will be offered.   Thanks,   [redacted]   [redacted]     Med Loan Finance.com ¨ Back Loan Finance.com ¨ Dental Loan Finance.com ¨ Funeral Loan Finance.com [redacted]th Terrace Overland Park, KS 66221  Toll Free Number (800) 504-4053 or Toll Free Fax (800) 555-8122
