Meet the Matchmakers Reviews (23)

On June 4th [redacted] entered into a contract with our company.  At that time she signed a credit card invoice, our internal invoice a full disclosure including our cancellation policy along with a...

personality profile a background check authorization and a fully completed matching card. She then called us three days later speaking with Jordan and completing an over the phone orientation as to what she should expect from our services. The next week we go the approval from her first match Greg and Greg let us know he would be calling her within the week. On Sunday June 19th Greg emailed saying [redacted] was not answering his phone calls and that he had left several messages  he asked us to follow up.Then on June 20th Ms [redacted] sent the email copied below. In the email she states she was very aware of our 3 day cancellation policy but simply had a job elimination and wanted a refund. 4 days later we received this complaint from the Revdex.com alleging we were a scam. The next day we received a credit card dispute alleging fraud. Frankly, we were waiting for the dust to settle and her to decide on a path for a complaint/reponse.We are currently supplying all the required documentation to Ms. [redacted] credit card company. Businesses cannot offer refunds once a dispute is filed. We must first address the accusation of credit card fraud by way of contracts, invoices emv chip transactions and whatever proof of sale you can provide. By filing a credit card dispute Ms [redacted] has tied our hands in offering a resolution to this matter. Our merchant agreement with the credit card processor specifically states we CANNOT offer a refund once a dispute has been filed. Should Ms. [redacted] contact her bank and withdraw her dispute we can then discuss an amicable resolution but until we have proof of that occurrence we simply have to wait out the dispute process Ms [redacted] initiated. Her email is below...[redacted] ###-###-####

With respect to consumer complaint referenced above [redacted] I am a bit confounded by this complaint. The complaint states she signed up on 7/31/15 for 6 referral...

dates within a year. She took approximately two weeks to pay for the service and she went on one date so far. It is my understanding from her referral ([redacted] that her date went extremely well.  These statements are based solely on her original complaint to you and what I heard from [redacted] It appears from the tone of the complaint Ms. [redacted] simply wants more referrals which we,of course, will clearly provide. We are however, more geared to finding people for long term relationships than just one and done dating. Typically that means based on her attitude profile, interview with Trac and feedback from her dates we move toward finding the "right guy" and not just "a guy". It would appear that even her complaint states we provided 1 match in the first 6 weeks and that seems consistent with the contract terms she originally understood. Am I missing something here? I certainly wish to make every effort to resolve this but we are honoring the original agreement and don't know what remedy Ms [redacted] wants except for another date which we will provide. I hope this helps.

Complaint ID #[redacted]
With respect to the complaint above [redacted]. I did respond to it several weeks ago and am responding again. Firstly Ms [redacted] did get dates this is not accurately noted in your summary. She went on one date after paying her balance owed (several weeks after signing up) she then filed this complaint one month later and 9 months before the end of a one year contract. Facts not in dispute ...
She did not pay her balance until 3 weeks after joining.
She went on one date which he claims they had a terrific time and didn't leave until morning.
She states she definitely went on one date but that it wasn't as great as he said.
When she called in to receive more matches Jordan added another date to the agreed number of 6.
These are all undisputed facts.
Her complaint was filed 3 months after joining and with 9 months left of service and her complaint is that she wants more dates.
We will happily fulfill the agreement and provide the dates she contracted for within the timeframe as originally promised.
We trust this resolves this issue...
