I ordered a mod for my dad in March and it took 8 weeks to receive it. They couldn't honor my original order due to low stock and covid, understandable of course. We received the mod finally and it would hold a charge for less than 15 minutes. Contacted the company and they said to purchase a new charging cable, which I did. It didn't work. So I returned it for repair and was told nothing was wrong. I asked for a refund of my $216 since we can't use the remote and they only refunded $160. I have emailed them repeatedly with no response. I am so angry it's not even funny. Happy birthday dad, I guess.

We are sorry about your experience and wish you could join our gaming community and take advantage of our modded controllers. However, we stand behind the product and the technology. Our tech team was unable to replicate the issues you have described, and we have informed you of ways to eliminate the user error and how to operate the controller effeciently. Since you've opted for a refund, it was processed in accordance to the Terms. There is a 15 % restocking fee for custom made electronics, options like Express delivery and Same Day Assembly are non refundable since the services have been granted.

My son was so excited to create his Dad a Xbox remote for Father's Day this year. Upon ordering at the end of May, it said because of COVID, wait times would be 20 days. I understood it would be late but we decided to order it anyway. With an estimated arrival date of 7/1 coming and going I emailed the company inquiring about my order. Within 24 hours it moved to "shipped". Spending almost $200 on a "personalized remote" we were so excited to get it. Imagine our surprise when my son takes it to his father almost 2 weeks into July for a late Fathers gift and his Dad opens it and it's NOT what he ordered. The back grips were a bright red when my son ordered it white. I emailed photos and asked how we can correct it thinking it was an honest mistake. Nope..... I get an email telling me that's all they had so they installed it anyway. They'll refund me for the white one we paid for but that's it. Had I known I wouldn't get the exact remote I paid almost $200 for then I wouldn't have spent my money with them or waited a month and a half for it. If you're looking for a personalized gaming option please check other companies. Their customer service is seriously lacking. While they have been really quick to reply to any emails...... COVID or not, a simple email stating they didn't have the white in stock and asking me what I would like instead would have been the proper thing to do. Instead I get what they had laying around. I did give them 2 stars because the modz do seem to be working for now. We've been a repeat customer for them up until now. Very disappointed in their current service.

We are very sorry about installing different color grips on your controller, we did our best to choose a custom part of the same texture to maintain the color scheme selected for the controller. We were out of the color you selected at the moment of the controller assembly and did not want to keep you waiting even longer. The gaming market is experiencing a very busy sales season, there are delays from suppliers and a shortage of components. We do run out of parts and wait for them to arrive much longer than before COVID.

We did issue you a refund for the part and hope you give us another chance and we continue having you as our loyal customer.

Ordered xbox controller with full mods and trigger locks. After their anticipated shipping date came and went, I emailed to seek update. *** from "costumer service" was in my opinion very rude and claimed the delay was due to the pandemic, which was already the lengthy wait time reasoning as posted on their website. The order after 30 days hadn't even been processed per their site. After emailing the order was processed/built/shipped within 36hrs. So much for that corona delay. Delivery of product was initially returned to sender because company hadn't properly listed my address. Had to get with USPS to resend package which took hours out of my evening. Upon delivery, plugged in headphones and volume was so low I had to turn headphones all the way up in order to be able to utilize. *** plugin was "sloppy" causing distortion any time it was bumped. I let this go until after half a dozen uses, the R2 button when depressed with trigger locks on would stick. Gave the L2 trigger a firm press and it also stuck. Their website clearly states all controllers are thoroughly tested and was a reason in extended shipping time because of cdc guidelines. Obviously they hadn't tested even the headphones, or if they had, it was shipped as is.
I reached out to megamodz because when you clicked returns, it stated you had to print out shipping label. I explained to again *** from "customer service" that I do not have access to a printer. First response told me to click return link on site after I had already explained that I had. 2 days later he ( *** ) replied stating that I had to ship it back to them personally. I don't believe this is good business standards to force consumer who was sent defective product to inconvenience themselves anymore than I had already been, so asked them to send me a box with prepaid shipping. *** ( 2 days later ) told me the only way they can cover shipping is by printed label. Unfortunately for ***, I'm sharp enough to know that ppl shipped packages pre digital age and again requested they facilitate a means to return product, which was met by a very rude reply. At this point I requested that if I paid for shipping, their tamper seal was still intact, and product was indeed defective, that I be refunded full price of controller along with me shipping costs as I was not only disappointed in the quality of their product but also frustrated by his lack of willingness to make things right for me. I've yet to receive a reply.
I feel like if they "fix" trigger locks they'll simply malfunction again but only if it happened again, I would then be out of the 30 free repair window and be charged. Trigger locks are a simple installation and I feel as if they are low quality so if it malfunctioned within 6 uses, it'll likely happen again. I paid over 200 dollars for controller and feel as if I shouldve received a functional product. I would like a resolution to be conducted in the likes of a full refund. My initial intentions was seeking a repair, but due to the companies lack of reading comprehension and terrible customer service, I want nothing more to do with them other than to receive a refund so I can go buy an elite controller with quality construction and more importantly, to do business with a company who cares for it's consumers.

We are very sorry about your unpleasant experience and we are more than happy to fix the issue as we stand behind our product and technology. As per the Policy, in order to be refunded or have the controller repaired, we have to have the product back to our facility. Your shipping costs are covered, same goes for repairs (90 days warranty). However you refuse to print out a shipping label emailed to you or send the controller back to us. In order to be refunded or repaired, the product has to be returned to the facility.

One of the worst online purchasing experiences I have been through. When I placed the order I was given a timeline of about a month until I received it. Ok, no problem.

Day before it is supposed to ship, I have not heard anything from MegaModz about my order other than the original confirmation email and a charge on my credit card. I reached out and they let me know it would definitely be shipping out the next day.

The next day I receive an email that my purchase has shipped. A few hours later I receive an email stating that my order is out of stock and that my only option is to choose a different product.

I don't want a different product, so I ask about refund info and how long it will take to get in the product I ordered. They said 1 week. Great online shopping experience. Site built with user in mind, same applies to the Xbox one controller with custom design Andromeda that I have ordered. Menu is easy, mods operating is well explained. Getting into advanced programming that a controller also has, makes no sense for me at the moment as I am satisfied with factory setup.

So my wife purchased a modded controller for my birthday in May. I received it right away and started using it. Well 3 weeks into it the left joystick would malfunction. Reached out to megamodzplanet and then received a label from to ship it back... Cool. Thought it was gonna be fixed and over with.
They sent it back and I turned it on and the left joystick is in even worse condition. Okay so I reach out again and send it back. After having my controller for 4 days I revive an email saying that it was manually broken... So now I'm left with a 250 dollar controller that is still in their custody.
I've had my other 2 regular ps4 controllers for over 2 years and never a problem and now this... I even offered to send in one of my other controllers to be able to fix it... The funny thing is I did tell them that I received it in even worse condition and now the blame is on me? Don't get me wrong I loved the product and the quick responses back from them but their ethics and morals are non-existent.

Hello, as per the company Repairs and Returns Policy, any malfunctioning of the modchip, buttons or parts of our products is covered by the warranty unless there has been manual damage done. The customer had a problem with the left joystick in the first month of using our product, we received the product back for inspection, were able to detect the issue, repaired the issue, tested the product and shipped it back. When received the product back the second time with reportedly same or even worse issue, we detected the manual damage done to the part. We are unable to repair the controller free of charge if the part is broken and requires the re installation of the whole controller board.

If the controller was repaired properly I would've gladly used it. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. I do recall receiving it back from the repair and immediately contacting megamodzplanet explaining how it was worse off than before. Megamodzplanet has failed to ship my controller back to me and its been pretty much a month. I paid 250 bucks for a controller that I don't even have. What a waste of time and money. Never thought this type of thing would happen to me. Beware of scammers like megamodzplanet.

The controller was inspected and manual damage has been detected that was causing the malfunctioning of the product. Customer was offered to have the item repaired for a fee in accordance with our Repairs Policy since the warranty was void, which customer refused to accept. We don't keep purchased items, and once we got a response on how to proceed with the return, the controller has been sent back. A tracking number was provided in a separate email.
