Review: I had taken my vehicle to this business for an oil change, upon completion of the oil change when the employee was backing my vehicle out of the bay the passenger side mirror hit the cinder block wall of the bay door causing damage to the mirror. The owner/manager came out inspected the mirror and offered me $20.00 off the bill to compensate me for the damage. I refused his offer and stated that the replacement cost of the mirror was much higher than $20.00. He called somewhere and received a quote of $350.00 for a replacement mirror. He refused to replace the mirror stating he did not feel the damage was severe enough for the replacement since the mirror was useable. I stated there was no damage to the mirror when I had arrived and expected the mirror to be in the same condition when I leave. He refused and offered me a free oil change, I declined. Then ask for an invoice for the oil change, he said he could not give me an invoice unless I agreed to accept a free oil change as compensation for the damaged mirror. I replied that you can write what ever you want to on the invoice but I won't sigh it nor agree to it and would be contacting the corporate office.Desired Settlement: I want my mirror repaired or replace to the condition it was in before they damaged it.

I admit that we put a scratch on his passenger side mirror. I handled the matter calmly and professionally, despite his friend's exaggerated reaction. It was on the bottom edge. It was 1 inch long and the thickness of a human hair; only noticeable if someone pointed it out. I did his $100+ oil change for free. If the mirror was to be replaced there was always the chance that it would not fit as well, or not match as well. He contacted the Meineke corporate headquarters and they sided with me. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The damage to the mirror is not as slight as described there are at least three scratches on the side of the mirror as well as the damage to the chrome case. I am not interested in a free oil change at $100 when a replacement mirror will cost at least $350 as I stated at the time of damage. Is it wrong to expect my vehicle to be in the same undamaged condition after your service?

I responded to this matter previously. I have no intention of paying for this. Please look at this tiny scratch because it is outragegously over the top to replace this mirror because of the tiny scrathch. I now question as to how only the bottom edge could have been scratched. The new one may very well rattle or it might be mismatched in color. Meineke Corporate headquarters agrees with me. Iam done with this matter. Review: Incident with Meineke

On March 15, 2016, the rearview mirror on my 2002 Acura TL was loose and I stopped at Meineke Car Care center #[redacted] and inquired if they could replace it. They quoted me a price of $161.12 and said they would have to order it. When they received the mirror and called on 3/19/16 I was at work and my wife took the car in. When I went to pick it up a few hours later I found the windshield cracked and the power windows and dashboard gauges not working. . I paid the bill for $161.12. They refused to take responsibility. Rene from Angel's Autoglass who replaced the windshield pointed out that Meineke had cut the wires going to the mirror and destroyed the computer. He took pictures and agreed to testify. I took the car to O'Reilly Auto and they did a diagnostic test and found that Meineke had cut the wires to the mirror and destroyed the cars computer.Desired Settlement: I want Meineke to pay to have the car computer system replaced. This should be performed by an Acura dealership. I do not trust Meineke to do the job correctly. The rearview mirror is still not attached even though I paid the $161.12 to Meineke.

His expert Renee is a laborer that welds exhaust systems and repairs power windows: he is not an automotive electrician nor is he even an automotive mechanic.
