Memphis Men's Clinic Reviews (26)

Collect the unused portions of my refund from Memphis Men's Clinic that they agreed to repay me.I went to the Memphis Men's Clinic in the first week of May 2015. I was tested at the clinic to see if I would have a positive response to their medication, I had a positive response but I complain of a great deal of pain that lasted more than two hours after the shot. The medication was adjusted and that day I agreed to a payment plan for treatment from the Clinic. My initial was $508.00 and I was billed on the 15th each month starting in June of 2015 for $212.50 to January 15 2016.Shorty after starting my treatments at the Men's Clinic I started having urology problems. I ask the doctor at the Men's clinic could he help me and he told me no. I told the Men's Clinic that I was going to see my urologist. The Men's Clinic told me that this wasn't a problem just come back when I was ready to start my treatments again from the Men's Clinic. I came back to The Men's Clinic about four months later but in that same time I continue my monthly payments of 212.50 to the Clinic. Shorty after returning to the Men's Clinic I began to complain about the medication not working to achieve an erection and the return of the severe pain that I was suffering from after each shot. The pain from the medication last well over two hours. The clinical director Tim W[redacted] administered the last two shots to me with no results of achieving an erection and one shot by the doctor with negative result. After making myself available to different treatments the clinical director Tim W[redacted] and the doctor agreed on November 2 2015 to end my treatments and to refund my unused funds that I had paid to the Memphis Men's Clinic. Mr. W[redacted] ended my contract on November 2 2015 along with the three remaining bank drafts tied to my visa card.Since the time I've been trying to get my refund back for the clinic Mr. W[redacted] had made offers for me to come back to seek more treatments.I avail myself to all the treatment plans that Memphis Men's had at the time I was seeking treatment. Because the shots didn't work for me and the lasting pain I was from the shots the doctor and Mr. W[redacted] agreed to end my program.Mr. W[redacted] Memphis Men's Clinical Director has also stated that I ended my treatments on myself. Had I taken it upon myself to end my treatment with the clinic I was still obligated for three more monthly bank drafts to Memphis Men's clinic. There is no way that the clinic would've stop collecting on the last three bank drafts because it was a legal contract.Desired SettlementWhen I first went to Memphis Men's Clinic they said each shot was $19.00 per shot. This was my cost per shot even with them adjusting my medication for the pain I was experiencing after painful shots. On November 3rd 2015 Mr. W[redacted] clinic director offered me a refund of $150.00 of funds that I had paid to the clinic. I told Mr. W[redacted] that this refund amount was totally inadequate for the payments that I had already paid to the clinic. On November 10 2015 Mr W[redacted] amended his first offer and made a second offer of $212.50 one of my monthly payments that I had paid to the Men's Clinic.I told Mr. W[redacted] that this offer was inadequate and unfair. I ask Mr. W[redacted] for an itemized bill of services that I had recieved from The Memphis Men's Clinic. Mr. W[redacted] emailed me an itemized statement on November 10 2015. In the invoice that I received from Memphis Men's Clinic I was billed for 21 doses @ $50.00 per dose which came out to a cost of $1050.00. The cost per dose was more than double the amount I had agreed to pay on a program at receiving two shots per week lasting almost a years supply. Not to mention the fact that I took almost four months off to be treated by my urologist. Going through the process of trying to get my refund from the Memphis Men's Clinic Mr. W[redacted] stated by law the clinic was not obligated to compensate me for medication that had already issued to me even though Memphis Men's Clinic promised to compensate me for that medication that didn't work. I'm asking for $630.00 refund from Memphis Men's Clinic @$20.00 per shot for 21 doses. This whole experience with Memphis men's Clinic has been totally unfair to me and time consuming. Memphis Men's Clinic in my case saw an opportunity to keep funds that I paid to the clinic and not received services for. Mr. W[redacted] the representative that I've dealt with from the Memphis Men's Clinic has been dishonest and unfair and is tying to keep funds that I didn't received services for.Business Response We are unhappy to hear that anyone would have a complaint against our office. Mr. [redacted] did in fact come to our clinic to treatment of Erectile Dysfunction. He was able to sample this medication in our clinic, as advertised, before he was given an opportunity to purchase his own medication for home use. He got a very desirable response and was satisfied with this so he elected to purchase additional medication and treatment.Mr. [redacted] states that he suffered from pain after his initial test dose. This is a normal response when a patient has not had any type of erection in quite some time. The tissues in the [redacted] stretch adn cause soreness and paid. Becasue of Mr. [redacted]'s pain, oyur certified physician adjusted the medication not only to give the patient the desired firmness and duration of his erection, but to alaso try and mitigate some of the pain the patient may experience with his first few uses of medication.Mr. [redacted] then states that John told him that the medication cost $19 per dose. This is not the case bcasue our smallest plan for medication is $20 per dose.Mr. [redacted] then talks about taking home medication adn again experiencing pain, but needing it to be stronger because the patient wanted is stronger. This happened a couple of times, but at the end opf his statement Mr. [redacted] stated "the next two doses were good for the prolonged erection but still the pain was there." This shows that Mr. [redacted] tried a few doses of medication to try and pinpoint a dose that will give Mr. [redacted] the erection he wants. Once we found the right dose, Mr. [redacted] still complained of pain. Again, this is a normal response when a patient gets a hard erection that their [redacted] is not used to.FInally, Mr. [redacted] states that the doses "did not work, I had no erections with the shots." Mr. [redacted] himself stated that he got a prolonged erection wit h the last adjustment that was made for him.On October 9, 2015 Mr. [redacted] came into our office to see our Director and talk about his issues. He stated that our Director stated that he would "make the adjustments that I needed for successful erections." Mr. [redacted] then took home a few different doses of medication to try and see which was the best and help our Director know how to adjust his medication properly. Mr. [redacted] only states in his complaint that none of the doses worked.Mr. [redacted] complains of the medication not working at all. However, he also stated that he got a prolonged erection from a dose of medication. He complained of pain. This is normal for patients when their tissues in the [redacted] are not used to stretching. Our Director then offered to personally help Mr. [redacted] bu making further adjustments, but Mr. [redacted] refused further medication and treatment. What Mr. [redacted] presented with does not constitute treatment failure. Therefore, a refund cannot be offered. He received an erection from his medication and even stated that he received a prolonged erection.By law, medication is non-refundable. We have offered to cancel the rest of Mr. [redacted]'s payments and offer a refund of medications not used, but despite our efforts to help Mr. [redacted], he does not want to accept them.We stand ready to continue treating Mr. [redacted] os outlines in his specific treatment program. We aim to have 100% customer satisfaction.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)The clinical director of Memphis Men's admits I always complain about pain after the shots. The last three doses administered in your clinic one by the doctor and two by the clinical director didn't achieve an erection and was accompanied by prolonged pain that lasted for more than two hours and a half. These were the results that the clinical director and the doctor saw in real time with the last three shot because I waited in your examination room for you and the doctor to see the results. The director and the doctor got together and told me that they would end my treatments because I was not getting the results that the Memphis Men's Clinic had promised me. I never complain about prolonged erections I always complain about prolonged pain. My package with you was $19.00 per shot two shots per week. Even with adjusting the medication your staff told me that my cost was still $19.00. In the clinical director response to my complaint about the amount of my refund He didn't account for the monthly payments I was still making for almost four months while seeking treatments from my urologist. I ask the Memphis Men's Clinic doctor if He could help me with my urological problems he told me no that the only problems he treated was erectile dysfunction.I informed the doctor and John that I was going to take time off to be treated by my urologist. They told me to just come back to the clinic when I finish with the urologist. My bank drafts still went through to the Memphis Men's Clinic for $212.50 per month even with me receiving no treatments from the Memphis Men's Clinic, my two doses per week. The clinical director stated in his response to me that I refuse farther treatments, this is not true the doctor and the clinical director came to the conclusion that the treatments were not working for me because they administered the last three shot at the clinic with no erection from me. (One shot administered from the doctor and two shots administered from the clinical director). There's no way that Memphis Men's Clinic would have let me end my contract on my own because the clinic still had three remaining bank drafts left on my contract. Memphis Men's Clinic ended those last three bank drafts. I made myself available for all the adjustments of medications, at the end their treatments for me just didn't work. The clinical director stated in his response to me that he would want me to come back to the clinic for more treatments, how could I come back to your clinic when you have lied and been dishonest and refuse to return my full refund? I have been seeking a refund of medication that I didn't use. Your first offer to me on November 3,2015 of a $150.00 was inadequate. Your second offer of a refund of 212.50was inadequate too, that was just one of the monthly payments that I was paying to you. I have been seeking this refund since November 3, 2015. Please refund the amount that due to me $630.00.Thank you. Final Business Response Again, Mr. [redacted] states he did not receive an erection during the test dose. This is untrue. Mr. [redacted] received a response and simply needed further adjustments to achieve the response he desires. The pain that was experienced is caused by the [redacted] not being used to stretching. Soreness and pain is very common in erectile dysfunction. However, the pain CAN be mitigated. Again, it simply takes an adjustment to achieve a desired response. Our Director and Physician did not agree to end treatment because of a degree of treatment failure. As a courtesy to our patient and the decision he wanted to make, Mr. [redacted]'s treatments were stopped and his future payments were stopped as well. Mr. [redacted] was offered a refund. All of the monies that Mr. [redacted] paid were invoiced against how much medication Mr. [redacted] used, and it comes to one monthly payment of $212.50.However, it is our goal to have 100% patient satisfaction. We encourage Mr. [redacted] to come see our Physician to continue his treatment.Office Personnel

I was a bit skeptical but the treatment was exactly as advertised, with none of the side effects I experienced with Viagra. I am very pleased with the results. I'm sure my wife will be pleased as well!","pos-12

Unable to use product purchased. Requested to to be reimbursed.I went to the Memphis Men's Clinic in April 2015 for assistance with ED. I purchased the packet for 100 units. I received 2 sample injections. However, I haven't received any from the 100 packet. After using the first injection I experienced bleeding and was sore for several days.I contacted the Men's Clinic by phone advising of problem and requesting a refund. Rep didn't express any concern. I stated this should be reported to the Revdex.com. Rep then replied I could inform anyone I wanted. I know longer feel comfortable using this product.Desired SettlementRefund me only for the unused units. I was disappointed with the response I received.I didn't hesitate paying for the product.Business Response In response to [redacted] claimFile #: XXXXXXXXWe receive Mr. [redacted]'s complaints via the Revdex.com website. Mr. [redacted] did indeed visit our office April 8, 2015 for treatment of his Erectile Dysfunction. Mr. [redacted] purchased a treatment/medication plan to address his erectile dysfunction. Mr. [redacted] stated in his claim that he had some bleeding and soreness from his first use of medication. Soreness is can be common when a patient has not had an erection for quite some time, as the tissues are not use to stretching. Therefore, soreness may ensue, but does have a tendency to subside after a few uses.Mr. [redacted] ELECTED to purchase a treatment plan consisting of 100 doses of medication tailored specifically for him. He took home the first of these doses to determine whether he can administer the medication properly, and if the response he received was at his liking. Mr. [redacted] stated he was bleeding from the medication. This is a simple symptom of a mis-injection. Mr. [redacted] needs to come to our office and see our Doctor so that we may re-instruct him on the proper application techniques. We have not heard from Mr. [redacted] since July, 2015 until this complaint was received. We contacted Mr. [redacted] upon receiving this complaint. Mr. [redacted] stated to one of our employees that he was in kidney failure and he no longer wished to use the medication that he elected to purchase. It was explained to him that his Medication is non-refundable; however, we will consider special circumstances where both the primary care physician and treating physician deem further treatment is unwarranted. Per his treating physician, Mr. [redacted] does not fall into that category. He now refuses to come see the Doctor for a more in-depth evaluation to address his claims. We always strive for 100% customer satisfaction. We have tried, with our best efforts, to help Mr. [redacted], but he continues to show an unwillingness to receive such help. We urge him, even now in this forum, to come see our Physician so that his concerns may be addressed.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I am confused by the Men's Clinic response to my complaint. I paid for treatment, in April 2015, that I never rec'd. Treatment that was to be painless. and weren't. I can't understand how my kidney failure in 2016 would affect my ED treatment from 2015. The phone response to my complaint was hostile, belligerent and combative fr the caller, John. I wasn't able to get in a word. Caller replied, "you contacted the Revdex.com on us?" Caller was hostile and intimidating. Final Business Response In response to [redacted]'s complaint:File #: XXXXXXXXMr. [redacted] stated he called our office and asked for a refund because he bled and had some soreness from his first dose of medication. He stated that our employee did not express any concern for his experience. We regret that Mr. [redacted] felt as if Clinic employees were not concerned with his discomfort. When speaking to an employee of the Memphis Men's Clinic, Mr. [redacted] admitted on the phone that he understands that soreness is not uncommon for patients who have not had a firm erection in a considerable time. We also articulated to Mr. [redacted] that a negligible amount of bleeding can occur when either a blood vessel is hit, or skin is punctured. Mr. [redacted] expressed to us that he understands his physical reaction to treatment was entirely normal, but to our dismay he wants to cease his treatment that has not shown yet to be anything less than effective.Mr. [redacted] elected to purchase a medication plan from the Memphis Men's Clinic. This occurred on the day of his first office visit, after he was administered a personal test dose of our medication. We contest that Mr. [redacted] has received effective treatment from our office. His positive response to that initial treatment was documented, and as a result of that treatment Mr. [redacted] decided to purchase a year's worth of treatment/medication through the clinic.Mr. [redacted] stated in his consumer rebuttal that he paid for treatment that he did not receive. We have had Mr. [redacted]'s medication in our possession and available for him since almost immediately after his first visit. We regret that a misunderstanding may have occurred, and that Mr. [redacted] might have felt as if we hadn't followed through on our part of an agreement.Mr. [redacted] stated to staff at the Memphis Men's Clinic that he desired to stop his medication because he is in kidney failure and no longer wants to use it. Mr. [redacted] signed our standard Informed Patient Consent paperwork, where he provided his signature agreeing that medication ordered by him is non-refundable. Per company policy, his medication was ordered immediately to ensure its rapid availability to him. Mr. [redacted] also agreed that upon the completion of his office visit, any other services or medications would be non-refundable. Despite both of these points, we understand Mr. [redacted] is experiencing unrelated health issues, and we consider circumstances where both the primary care physician and treating physician deem further treatment unwarranted. We encourage Mr. [redacted] to coordinate this issue with both his primary care physician and the physician at the Memphis Men's Clinic. We urge Mr. [redacted] to come see our Physician and continue his treatment, because we have already shown to him that we can effectively treat his erectile dysfunction. It is troubling to us that some misunderstandings may have led Mr. [redacted] to regret his decision to seek treatment at our office. It remains our ultimate goal to effectively treat his erectile dysfunction and provide him with the improved function he sought and received from us in the first place.

I was a patient at this clinic, and after the doctor I was given a sales pitch to purchase a product ranges from 608.00 to $4,500.00. Deceptive sale.I visited this clinic after hearing tons of advertisement about ED treatment. I was a patient last Friday, Oct 2nd, and after meeting with a doctor, I was told they had medication for my problem, but never told me what it was.I was told to pull my trousers down and lay on a table. Without me knowing the doctor came in a gave me a shot directly in my [redacted]. I was told to walk around for several minut4es and see if I was alright. After I had a soft erection. What amounted to a sales representatives came in and told me that I could have a year of injections and needle device, for $4,500, and I was stunned. He said I could a 6 month supply for $2,100 or the minimum for $608.00. I was so disgusted with them, I just paid the $199.00 for my visit and felt rip offed. I never wanted to use a device to insert a needle in my [redacted]. Never told about the procedures and never informed going in about the back in cost. Left without problem resolved and $199.00 and will tell everyone about how pathetic and shameful this organization isI wanted to get some help and was targeted to be ripped off.Desired SettlementSomeone needs to investigate this shameful practice and how this physician behaves. Everyone should be told up front if they wanted their [redacted] inserted with a needle. They should be given a choice for prescription medicine and if they do not provide that, tell the patient on the front end. Had I been told this is what they do, I would have never gone there.Business Response Response to case number XXXXXXXXMemphis Men's Clinic5050 Poplar Ave, Suite #718 (In the i-Bank Tower)Memphis, TN XXXXXXXX-XXX-XXXX pXXX-XXX-XXXX fwww.MemphisMensClinic.comWe are unhappy to hear that anyone would have a complaint against our office. Mr. [redacted] did in fact come to our clinic for treatment of Erectile Dysfunction. He actually got to sample this medication in our clinic, as advertised, before he was given an opportunity to purchase his own medication for home use. He got a very desirable response. He was very satisfied with this response, but did not elect to purchase any additional treatments and/or medication. Unfortunately, in his complaint, he states that our Physician applied an injection, on that "he was not aware of." In the introductory paperwork and informed consent, Mr. [redacted] read and signed all of the paperwork that states he would be given an application of medication in injection form. This was presented to him, as well with all patients, upon check in.Secondly, Mr. [redacted] states our medications ranged from $600-4500. We have multiple treatment plans that vary in price and depend specifically on the Doctor's recommendation, the activity level of each patient and the number of doses that the patient wanted to purchase. Mr. [redacted] chose not to purchase any additional medication, even though he did receive a favorable response after his initial test dose, proving him to be treatable. This is why Mr. [redacted] and many patients come to our office: for treatment. We do not target patients, we merely provide a very private and discreet place in which patients may come to have their very sensitive sexual and erectile functions addressed and any conditions diagnosed and/or treated. Mr. [redacted], having been seen by our board certified physician (evaluated and diagnosed), wasn't inclined to pay more than the agreed on office visit. Should he elect to pursue treatment in the future, he may do so at any time. We aim to treat any and all patients that have need of our services and who want treatment.Clinic Director Tim W[redacted]
