Absolutely terrible business practice from one location. Shoved products down my throat and wouldn't let me leave till I bought their product, low and behold after I left the store where they applied started itching and it made it very hard to breathe, when I tried for a refund maybe 10 minutes later because I can't have something that was potentially gonna kill me near me for the price I paid for it

Mer D'or Paris Response • Nov 02, 2020

We always give a great customer service and if something itching you can just go back and exchange it without no problem

Customer Response • Nov 02, 2020

I don't find this response satisfactory, I don't want any other products I just truly want a refund for the money I spent to almost die from the product I was practically forced into buying

Customer Response • Nov 02, 2020

Also if it's because of Corona you can't refund me, why did one of your employees touch face without consent or having washed their hands?

I left in tears after I explained 6 times I was in a hurry and had limited income as a single mom out with my 5 kids school clothes shopping. They badgered and badgered until I caved. I walked out $600 poorer, and shaking. This business practice is unacceptable. Why does Fashion Place Mall allow them to grab and pull in unsuspecting shoppers. I will absolutely not return to that Mall ever again until this shop is closed down.

I wish I would have read all these terrible review before I got sucked in. They are not viable products and they have misrepresented what the products do. They definitely need to be shut down and not be allowed to do business anymore, anywhere. Do not fall for the high pressure and false claims they make. This is by far the worst business I have ever encountered!!!

I was lured into their business. During covid-19, the sales woman had no mask, no gloves and used no sanitizer. She massaged the products on my face and arm. She convinced me to purchase some products, of course, I did. Of course, the effects did not last long. I tried to return the products the next day and was told no refunds, however I could exchange them. Why would I want to exchange products I don't like for the same products I have purchased. Too bad they are still in business.

I am in sales so can tell when other salespeople are peddling a scam. I was pulled into one of their stores in Vail as I had some time to kill and was laughing inside as I watched them using several predatory sale tactics. When the salesperson could see I wasn't being fooled, he pulled out the old standby, "Im not supposed to do this, but look at these last 2 orders customers just placed for $4,000 and $5,000 each" as he waived two pieces of paper in front of me that looked like receipts for multiple products. I'm sure they were fake and I walked out after some free entertainment.

There were two people at a store in the Layton Hills Mall in Layton, UT selling Mer D'Or Paris products. They were very pushy and rude to both my daughter an myself. Purchased products, not less than an hour later we both started having allergic reactions to the products. Went back to the store and was shown "NO REFUNDS" at the bottom of my receipt. I was charged almost $500 for products my daughter and I both had allergic reactions to - we cannot use these products and I want my money back in exchange for giving the products back to them! I have emailed customer service both yesterday and today with no response. I have called 3 different "customer service" numbers and have to leave messages on all 3 numbers and get no return phone call. My skin is still itching after several washings and a shower!

Mer D'or Paris Response • Jul 13, 2020

We do have a post sign we do not do as a refund we offer just as an exchange we would be more than happy to give her a store credit

I refused to buy any product. The staff person said he'd help me find an ATM machine. Then somehow charged me $1284.00 for products I did not want. I tried to return 3 times and was physically restrained by staff twice. They stole my money and made me afraid for my life. The Newgate Mall manager couldn't help or at least said he couldn't.

Mer D'or Paris Response • Jul 01, 2020

Sorry you was told serval time no refunds we have post sign upside are store big signsale person explains you return policy

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:

I did not enter the business to shop and that I only wanted directions to the ATM. The salesperson spoke as we and distracted from my line of sight to their large sign. walked into the store so I didn't even know what kind of store it was until Dan, the salesman that physically restrained me to sit in the one and only chair I sat in. He placed both hands on my shoulders every time I tried to leave. I am 100% physically disabled and that's against the law. The only other movement allowed was thDanforced me to leave the product bags of so-called free gifts that I did not want and told him to keep them because I did not want them and I couldn't use it on my frail skin and compromised health. I reviewed the place the salesperson placed me I could not see the large sign as he brought me in I told him many times that I would not buy anything I explained I use less than $20/year and my skin couldn't tolerate their products due to my autoimmune disease and my aging skin I was never allowed to approach the register check out Either the staff person restrained me to the chair and there is column or shelf totally obstructed the sign next to the register. Immediately after he gave me two bags of what he called free products But I was under distress from the physical restraint, so under duress and fear I only wanted to leave for my safety.. I COULD NOT SEE ANYONE THAT MIGHT HELP GET OUT AND AWAY FROM THOSE MEN. and agreed to sign my name on what they told me was the email list to get more information There was no receipt in my bags and I tried to return items same day a second time with similar results. I returned with the Mall Mgr, Duncan L but neither he or the other salesperson allow me to return all products forced upon my body multiple times

Sincerely

I was accosted by sales people while trying to leave the mall. I was pressured-Extreme level of pressure several times. It started with a sample and ended approximately $2000 charged to my debit and credit card. They told me they would refund the $321 and put it towards the 1200 for the electronic device. After they charged my card I realized they had not refunded the amount, and charged my Visa card 1284 plus tax. Supposedly free refills for 5 years. A guarantee that the product would reduce fine lines used with a light-pulsating device that is supposed to erase lines. The instant non-surgical wrinkly cream does not work. It cakes up and leaves a white crust. The eye serum left my eyes caked with a white crust and now I have red swollen eyes from trying to wash it off.

They were not understanding that no meant NO! In order to get out of there I was sold this device for a supposed 1200.00 When I saw that they indeed had billed me $1819, including tax.

I am, to say the least, pissed!

I am going to stop payment for the over payment and I want a refund!

Mer D'or Paris Response • Jun 08, 2020

Sorry we will not issue refund we offer you 300$ refund for the missing communication, otherwise we do not offer return on neck face device, if you still want 300$ refund, please contact us by email 10 days the offer will expire thank you

On 12 March 2020 I was at Fashion place mall when I was stopped by a lady at Mer Dor Paris and she gave me a free sample of what I thought was hand lotion, before I knew it she had me seated putting stuff on my eyes that was supposed to make the bags go away, I should of seen the warning signs when there was one bottle at one price and you had to buy the others separate or you could get the bigger bottle for a little more and it was all included (that was depending on what you were paying with) She told me because I had a Visa that I was eligible to purchase the “Gold” Bigger tube.
Then out of nowhere another man showed up (now that I have had time to think about it I think he was watching for a victim to sit down to come do his pressure sale). His Name was Sean Shir, funny her first name was Shir I didn’t notice this until I was home and was trying to contact them. Sean was a fast talker while he was putting stuff of my face the girl got my husband in the chair and had him involved in the process putting things on his face and head they were both fast talkers and showing us videos and getting more items out on the table and putting more things on us. I felt overwhelmed but unable to stop the process.
At this time they still had my credit card in the machine I guess assuming I was going to purchase more stuff, I felt very pressured, and then they kept taking the price down farther and farther, I can’t tell you that the products work or not, I don’t know if it is even the same product the ones they used out of were plain white containers.. Then they had some kind of machine to rub on your face that he wanted me to buy It was $23 Thousand dollars, I laughed, he got his phone out and showed me videos of receipts being printed showing people had paid that for the machine. I told him NO at least 10 times, then he dropped the price to 15 Thousand, I again told him NO several times, he would just shake his head and tell me it was for me to make me beautiful….this went on for at least 15-20 min His last offer on the machine was $35OO dollars but that was the last offer, I told him no.
They throw in free gifts to make you really think they appreciate your business. I received a salt body scrub, body lotion, beard oil (My husband has no beard) some foot cream 2 disposable packages of some gold gel things to put under your eyes. They told me how I could have the products refilled for free by taking the empty containers to one of their other stores. They talk fast move fast they are all talking to you about different products at the same time it was very confusing.
As we were driving home, our hands and face had a very strange dry sticky feel, and we both had a white film caked our faces that was like dried toothpaste. I noticed the next morning my face was real red around my nose and my lips (I did wash my face before going to bed). And the next morning the area my area around my nose is still very red and kind of raw feeling, and my face is red, and I am starting to have some breakouts on my face and forehead. ( I do have pictures of my face from the 13th & 14th of March 2020).
After the way my face felt on Friday the 13th of March 2020, I decided I would return the items and get my money back. The only number I had was a business card from the girl that sold me the first product. On 14 March I called and asked if she would be at the store I wanted to return the product, she said she didn’t work until Monday and the store was closed because it was a religious holiday for them. She gave me the number of Customer Service. I called and talked to a lady named Natalie, she told me they did not do refunds and that I signed a receipt that said no refunds. At no time did the sellers of this product tell me there was no refunds. If need be my husband was with me and he can also state that not one time was we told about no refunds. There was no signs the day I purchased my product anywhere at their Kiosk that stated not refunds nor did I see anything on any of their brochures or paperwork that said no refunds. They shuffle papers and talk so fast you don't know what is actually going on The receipts are stapled together, one is from the store that shows each item with a price and total it does not say no refunds, the second receipt is from my credit card that just shows my card, date, total and it is the one that says no refund, it is the bottom receipt. They don't just hand you one receipt they hold the top receipt over for you while you sign the 2nd receipt.

Natalie told me if I would give her my credit card inform she would refund my card $1200 dollars, I said no I wanted to return the items for a full refund, and I wanted to know when Shir or Sean or someone would be at the Kiosk at the mall so I could bring them back and get my card credited. She said she would not do that and now offered me $1500 off, I told her I was not giving her my card and that I wanted to return the items that I had not used them and she then offered me $2000 off. I told her no I needed to know when someone would be at the kiosk so I could return it and have a credit returned to my credit card, she said she would not give me a refund. She said that nobody would be available until Monday the 16th because it was a religious holiday for them. Then she asked me if Shir had showed me the machine to use with the product I said the 23th dollar one yes he did, she said that she would give me credit my card with the $2000 and give me the machine for free.
I called the following Monday 16 March 2020 and did not get an answer at the Kiosk. I then tried to call Shir with no answer so I sent her a text on her cell phone. She stated that due to the COVI-19 they would not be to work for a few days. I have texted her on 3 other occasions to see if they were available for me to return the items and have been told they are still closed due to the COVID-19.

At this time I knew I had been taken for a scam and a ride, I told her that I would just file the dispute and hung up, then the girl that I had talked to at the mall first called me and asked me if I had talked to customer service and I said yes they didn’t want to work with me and that I was going to go thru the dispute process and I hear her say do you want to talk to her again, and I couldn’t hear the response, I spoke up and said I have nothing more to say to customer service…Now she had told me that she was off until Monday but actually she was standing right with the lady from Customer Service.
After looking at my products sitting in the boxes the boxes are old and some show signs of dirt and lots of handling, all the products are not even from the same company, I feel they are selling used over-priced products. I didn’t want to tell them that I thought they were shady and were doing a bad business for how they are scamming people that I just wanted to return the product it was not worth fighting with my husband over the price when I haven’t used the product.
I still have the unused products in the same bags they gave them to me in with no way to return them.
I filed a dispute with my Credit Card company and they said they can do nothing to help me I am hoping that you can help resolve this, if they wont stand behind their product and do refunds makes me wonder if I really got what they were using. My product boxes are dirty, they are using the excuse that I still have my product and I do all unused because of the COVID-19 I could not return it.
I did some research of this company and found they were doing full refunds as of Jan of 2020. The company comments that they can be returned within 7 days for refunds. I feel that they try to barter with you continually hoping that you will take the deal and not return the items for a refund. And why would they offer me a 23TH dollar machine for free and not refund me for what I spent? Makes no sense to me.

I am rejecting this response because: I know for a fact they do refunds, I have read many many Revdex.com Complaints and they do do refunds, all they want to do is lie and say they told me about no refunds, which is bull, they do not have it posted I have photos of their kiosk, They want to barter with you we dont barter in American we pay a fair price and if we are un satisfied we return the product, that is what Company’s do that stand beyond their product. I would of returned the stuff if it wasn't for COVID they were not available. I am prepared to take legal action if thry wont accept the unused products. With all the complaints for yhe exact same thing you think they would accept the return knowing full well they do take returns

Sincerely

Still, no refund we do have lower if you want legal action

Thank you

UNBELIEVABLY AWFUL BUSINESS PRACTICES! Literally pulled my 18 year old daughter into the store and after she told the woman no 4 times, she stepped in front of my daughter, blocking her exit and proceeded to use high school bullying tactics, telling her how unattractive her acne was, to shame her into buying their worthless crap! There really needs to be a negative star option, one star is far to good for these unscrupulous people!

In November, I was finishing some Christmas shopping and I was stopped by an employee at this kiosk in the mall. I had no intentions of buying their products when I was stopped and really just wanted to get home. I was met with some high pressure sales techniques and ended up walking away with 2 bags of products. As part of my purchase I was to receive 16 “free” facials and was not allowed to leave until I had scheduled my first one.

When I returned for my “free” facial, I was introduced to another employee who pitched me on a light therapy device. While intrigued by the machine, (which was initially presented to me as a device that would help control fat and cellulite) I was not in a position to pay what was quoted to me as the cost and I declined. My decline was met with more of the high pressure sales techniques previously used, but I was determined to stay strong this time. I explained that I did not have that kind of money, my family had recently experienced a series of medical events and had several medical bills to attend to, and that I would need to discuss it with my husband if I were to make a purchase that large. All of these responses were matched with encouragement to use whatever credit limits I had available on multiple credit cards to make the purchase.

Each time I said no, I was asked “would you use the machine?” To which I would respond “yes” and the sales pitch would continue. The price would be lowered and more products added as being included in the cost. I stated I just really could not afford it and the sales representative broke down the total cost to a daily amount over a period of time. I responded that when it was broken out that way it seemed more doable, but all at once was just too much. After probably 15-20 minutes of this I felt like there was no way they were going to let me leave until I said yes, so I broke down and said yes when they agreed to allow me to make payments. I made a payment and was told that the device would be ordered and that I would need to come pick it up in a couple days.

Being a woman of my word, I went back in when I was told to, expecting to pick up the machine. When I got there I was told it needed to be ordered still and AGAIN was pitched another sale!! This time I was told that the machine I bought was the lesser machine, but for more money I could get the upgraded one. I opted to stick with my original purchase. To which I was told that the upgraded one was the one that had the light to control cellulite and fat. I thought that was what I was previously sold! (bait and switch) I asked how much and was given a number that I understood to be the total overall for this machine and another payment was collected. At this point I believed that I was in good standing and that the next time I went in would be my last payment.

A week or so later I received a call from the accounting department wanting to take a payment over the phone. I declined and said I would go in to make the payment, which I did. At this point I believed my account should be paid in full based on what I thought was the agreed upon amount. So imagine my surprise when I was told that I still owed $5,000 and that a payment in full was expected!

Due to some unforeseen events, I did not have the $5,000 to pay, and at this time still do not and my credit cards are maxed out. At this point I would rather return the machine, but all my receipts are stamped no refunds/exchange only. However when I posed that I would bring it back that suggestion was rejected.

I never signed a contract or agreement, everything was verbal - making it easy for the sale agreement to change without my knowledge (type of machine)

I feel like the practices with this business are deceptive and manipulative at best. Oh, and the employees do not speak English as their first language, and it is difficult to understand what they are saying at times, making it difficult to know what you are agreeing to.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: I do not simply want to exchange the machine for more products. I did not want to buy the machine in the first place and felt forced into it. And once I was locked in it seemed like the cost kept going up. I want to return the machine and I do not want to pay the remaining amount. But I do want to make sure that the amount of product I have matches with the amount I have already paid.

Sincerely

I was pressured to buy your product when shopping during Christmas. I was told that it was the last Beauty Product I needed to use. I do feel scammed and am not using 90% of the near $4 K products I was pressured to buy from Shir, Sharim and the male manager. I would like a refund of unused products. I have not used any other products except the day and night creams, I went to get another jar of night and day cream because I was unable to get the foil off of the creme and had to come in and exchange it on December 6th. I feel I've been given old products and I'm not noticing changes. I will bring the products back. I want to be refunded my money! I used the Excuse that my husband said " I was worth it" however, used this as an excuse to keep the products due to returning it on a Sunday. When my husband and family found out how much I paid for two bags of products he was livid. The money I spent on these products are not worth it. I certainly was pressured by your sales with using my credit cards that I am still paying off. I would like to bring back the Perfector, Gold Mask and all of the other salts and cremes that I do not use. Please refund me the money that I lost. Shir, Shirem and the male manager (From Las Vegas) worked on me longer than I wanted, even when I said I needed to go and pick up my grand-daughter. The Male Manager was at one time going to refund 2K if I brought back the Perfector and Gold Mask. I have filed a complaint with the Revdex.com! I hope to resolve this so that I don't have to go thru litigation against your company.

My autistic son was pulled into one of these kiosks when he was trying to buy a Christmas gift for me. They terrified him into buying over $600 of junk products. They gave me a horrible rash and are full of chemicals and horrible ingredients. When I asked my poor son to give me the receipts they had no refunds on them. This was all the money he had for Christmas and they tricked him into buying this garbage. It ruined our Christmas. They are dishonest and took advantage of a handicapped young man buying a Christmas gift for his mother. What a horrible business!

I was pulled into a skin care demonstration by a salesperson at the mall kiosk who kept telling me insane prices and and then giving me "free things" to sweeten the deal. I admit, I got pulled in. The transaction was $321 and I paid it... But then they added other things and suddenly I purchased some more creams and stuff for $749... And then they didn't return my card and another guy walked up, the manager Shawn, and suddenly I purchased some medical devices and neck cream. I was in a trance and allowed for it to to happen and even rejected the bank fraud warning. I recently returned from a trip and visited a doctor on Wednesday about the fact that I want sleeping well and they prey on solo shoppers who get sucked in without friends or family to act as a conscience - that's the only explanation I can think of for how I got suckered out of nearly $3000 with tax. It's now the day after and I'm at the stand where they agreed to refund the product, but not the medical devices that cost $1926 with tax. This was after talking to the manager who stated that they haven't done anything wrong because the sign is posted. I'm looking at the sign and it's very small and turned around backwards.

The product returns today are $1070, and they tried to offer a partial refund on the other amount, but I'm not taking it because it would remove my ability to seek a full refund. Now I'm standing at the booth alone. Both salesman left and I can't decide if they're trying to see if I'll steal something. I'm a very honest person and just don't want to be swindled. These are definitely the "rich American" sales tactics and I hate it. It's wrong and it shouldn't happen.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because I visited the business the next day and found their no refund policy sign was turned backwards. (See photos. Eventually after they deserted the stand, I turned it around to read it.) Additionally, the product given to me was already open and did not include a charger or instruction manual. It's just a box with the product - I've reported this to the Jelessi company as well because I was sold an incomplete product.

Additionally, I was very exhausted. I had been traveling in Asia and went to the doctor the day before Thanksgiving (two days before this purchase) because I wasn't sleeping well. They were aware of this jet lag and pulled me in many directions, eventually double-teaming me and pushing product and adding products. I didn't snap out of it until a few hours later when I was still scraping white cream off my face. They were also pushing product on an older single shopper who was also alone. This company's business practices are unethical, prey on the weak and solo shoppers, and hardly scrape by the law.

This isn't me out of $100 or $200 dollars. This is me out of $2000 dollars. I am reporting to the consumer complaint department and will take this to small claims court if needed. This is not the way we practice business ethically in the United States. This is a savvy Israeli company designed to prey on "rich Americans". It was the shopping experience I liked least in Asia and have no idea how I fell for it so dramatically here. At this rate, I'll be paying this off for over a year.

Sincerely

please go have refunds

A friend and I were lured into a Mer D'or booth to try on face masks. Next thing I know we are being persuaded to buy the products. When we initially said "no" the salesperson then kept throwing products for "free" or for a "large discount". We were in a rush and finally had to leave. All I was after was a cleanser and the saleslady kept adding products making me believe they were for a great deal. They didn't inform me of the final cost until they ran my credit card. I didn't even have a vocal say as they just charged my card. This is very dishonest and I've read other very similar reviews since then. I had no intention of buying thousands of dollars of product. I feel like I was lied to. Then the agent said I could return anything I didn't like so we left believing that because as I mentioned we were in a hurry. At that point I looked at the receipt and found that actually they do not accept returns. This was a blatant lie told to me to get a sale and a VERY expensive one at that. This was deceitful at best.

I am rejecting this response because: my card was run without informing me of the actual price. I was lied to repeatedly about the final price and it was explained in such a way that it was too confusing to keep track of until my card was run. This is completely unethical business practice to have employees bamboozle customers and lie to them and then when argued to insult them. I had 0 intention of spending $4000 on product that I don’t need or at this point even want.

This stuff is garbage. It went white ans pasty looking as soon as it dried. Fortunately,I'm only out $30.00. Still, it makes me angry how dishonest this company is.

purchased a few item from them and they kept adding things to my bag telling me it was a gift charged my credit card 2000 dollars I told them I could not afford that much I just came from the jewelry store with some scrap gold oh I take that said not to worry my credit card dont care if you go over the limit I said no then they came to my house and asked me to return to the kiosk I thought they were going to credit my account as they took 2500 dollars worth of jewelry instead they charged me another 500 dollars when I got my bill I tried to call and email but no answer so I called the mall to where they were and of course they had pulled out very dissatisfied with how things were handled they stole from me cheated me and lied to me

This product is advertised at a mall kiosk as having ability to reduce eye wrinkles. It almost instantly does that but only temporarily unless one applies it every night for 79 days then once a month. The skin under one eye started to burn and after a day is still burning. I did not apply more as I was fearful of other side effects. Unlike plastic surgery this product only works if you spend the money (substantial) to keep a supply to use it. It should also be noted that the product was quite a bit less expensive on their website. No mention was made by sales lady that I could get my money back if returned in 7 days or less. I will be attempting to do that this week. As an additional note my skin has now gone red under one eye and my wrinkleing has gotten worse than before it was applied at the mall. If the negative effects continue I will consider legal action for any necessary medical treatment. Potential buyers should beware.

I am so disgusted with myself for falling for this scam. They are selling used, defective, and over-priced products. The salesmen are fast talkers who won't let you say no. Today, I brought back all the products and just left them so I could start disputes with my credit card companies. I have made notes and taken pictures of the products. I have video to prove that I returned products. They told me that I needed to keep products and call Ben.
I am requesting your help in resolving this matter.

These products were used when I got them and have pictures to prove as well. I exchanged 1st Instant lift filler because it did not work and the 2nd one stopped working after the 2nd try. I will let my credit card companies dispute because obviously they will Not stand behind their products nor their Customers. I was waiting for Morena to get back from a 2 week vacation in order to speak with her although she did not help me. I have 1 more receipt to send and will do so on a separate response.

Sincerely

Tuesday, March 19th on my way out the mall after purchasing lunch, a woman working at La Savon pulled me into her store. She fed me false information about her product and said that She threw in extra items for free. That friday I finally looked at my items and saw the receipt. I discovered that She had charged me for an item I did not receive, and had charged me an additional $500 for the items she TOLD ME were FREE! I then noticed on the receipt that they accept no refunds in which the merchant FAILED to inform me BEFORE the purchase! I did my investigating and according to the Revdex.com I was not their first victim! During my investigation I saw that they had given other people in the past 7 days for a return. I went back to their location, and spoke with their only rep and explained what had happened. She told me they dont do refunds or returns! Then she denied me service completely! I didn't take it to heart as she did not provide service to anyone but was simply content to be there to sit in the store, watch her movies on her tablet, and be paid. She told me to come back on monday when the manager would be there to help me. I was VERY ANGRY due to how RUDE she was and how disreputably she was behaving! I tried to file a complaint to the mall about the situation, but There wasn't much they said they could do. They told me that the manager was the woman I spoke to that refused to accept my returns! The security guard confirmed this through eye witness! I went back in one last time and asked her kindly if she would help me, but again, she told me "No." Seeing that she LIED about being a manager, denied me service to prevent me from returning products I was sold under false pretenses, AND charged me for goods she SAID VERY PLAINLY WERE FREE, I want a full refund! I want to return their items! And I will NEVER do business with such a SKETCHY, DISHONEST, and HORRIBLE company EVER AGAIN! Bottom line, I need my money back! I was blatantly lied to! And I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THEM to charge me 500.00 for ANY goods!
