provides a path for removing a business listing here: http://www.merchantcircle.com/optout/removeStep1. However, given Mrs. [redacted] prior request, we have taken proactive steps to remove the listing located at www.merchantcircle.com/precision-tax-services-spring-hill-tn . We have also notified Mrs. [redacted] of the removal by sending an email to the following email address: [email protected]. We caution Mrs. [redacted] that while the above action removes the listing for Precision Tax Services from our site, it may take several weeks for search engines such as Google and others to reflect the removal in search results. In addition, we are looking into what may have caused Mrs. [redacted] previous requests from not being received and addressed. Lastly, we will attempt to locate and remove the account associated with the email ([email protected]) Mrs. Poniter provided in her complaint. If the account was set up with a different email, please have Mrs. [redacted] provide. While MerchantCircle will miss Mrs. [redacted] business, we thank her for her patronage.

Accordingly, on February 25, 2015, we sent an email to Ms. [redacted]' at the email address identified in the Revdex.com complaint ([redacted]@gmail.com) requesting identification of the link or URL where her name and number was being used on the MerchantCircle.com website. As of March 26, 2015, we have yet to receive a response from Ms. [redacted]. At this time, therefore, we are unable to provide assistance to Ms. [redacted] as we are not aware which information is being requested to be removed from the site. As to Ms. [redacted]' allegations that we illegally took her name and address from a search engine post, we challenge the assertion principally on the grounds that Ms. [redacted]' has not provided evidence to demonstrate her assertion.

There is no URL and I never received any email - you all took my maiden name [redacted] and created an entire entry on your website - around Avon that I don't even sell anymore! There was never this imaginary url you keep talking about - take my info off your website! Hi,
I have evidence that this case is not fully resolved. I revived a phone call tonight from someone looking for Check n Go at our home phone number. They got the number on the web site Favecentral.com by searching Ames, Iowa and Check n Go. I tried this and my home phone number was listed for the business XXX-XXX-XXXX. Check n Go vacated this number and its Ames location over six years ago. When I tried to contact Favecentral on their website, my inquiry was rejected five times due to inaccurate characters.
Can you help me get my home phone number removed from this website?

Since we are attempting to balance the interests of consumers who need unbiased information with that of businesses that are preserving a particular reputation, we often consider the weight of each review and will remove if the review is in clear violation of our terms of use. We appreciate[redacted] frustration. However, at this time there has not been enough information provided by [redacted] to locate the review that forms the basis of his complaint. There is an [redacted] Moving listing located in Cottonwood, AZ. This listing, however, does not have any reviews associated with it. I think they should refund all of the $4.99 charges. They were not authorized and they made it nearly impossible to resolve. They did not return emails. They do not return calls. The only way I was able to communicate was through Revdex.com.

Occasionally, likely do to a slighted acquaintance, an individual's personal information will make it into this network of syndicated partners. On the surface, it appears Ms. [redacted]'s information was populated by these means. We have reached out to Ms. [redacted] at the email provided in the Revdex.com complaint to request confirmation on which URL her personal information appears. Once confirmation has been received, we will promptly remove the listing to address Ms. [redacted]'s concern.

I feel like this is just a response from the company to satisfy this complaint but that they will continue with the same unlawful practices they've done in the past. This is the same boiler plate email I received from them when I complained to the company directly, but I continued to receive daily emails.
Everyone who sends out email newsletters is required to follow laws regarding these types of communications and I don't believe this company will change their policies until they are forced to.

They took a completely unreasonable amount of time to do ago though...and absolutely need to provide a reasonable way for people to reach them. I imagine most people simply give up out of frustration....something I suspect they count on. O in still not sure how they even had enough current account information from me to process the charge since I never authorized it in the first place...and never had a paid account with them.
