Jim is a great guy who deals with me on a personal level. He always gives me great rates and looks to save me money. Jim and Mercury is the only transport company I use.
Excellent customer service, on the phone and following up with the transportation company for timely execution. Everything went on time, as we were told, and the delivery (which was half way across the US) was seamless. We put a deposit on a truck to deliver our 6 passenger electric vehicle from Texas to Oregon. The truck arrived hours after we were told it would be there. When it finally arrived, our vehicle that we were trying to ship didn't have enough room on the truck to fit. Mercury Auto tried to blame it on us, saying that we did not give them any specifics on our vehicle. We gave them the make, and model number, which is all that they asked for. The gentlemen rudely explained to me that when you "google search" our vehicle's make and model number, a smaller model of our cart comes up and tried to put the blame on me, because he listed our vehicle as a "Small Golf Cart." Our vehicle is the same size as a small sedan.
The day after our cart wasn't shipped, [redacted] was suppose to be finding another truck to ship our cart. He then failed to return our phone calls until the following day after we had already found some one to ship our cart.
He is now refusing to refund our deposit even though their negligence lead to us not getting our cart out on time.
I have never dealt with such an incompetent, rude, and arrogant company. I will never do business with this company, and would NEVER recommend them to any one trying to ship a vehicle.

I worked with Renato, and shipped through ZS transportation. Great job all around, just remember that you can pay the deposit with Credit but have to pay cash or money order for driver. Also, be sure to plan on having some wiggle room with the price they quote you. Mine came in 75.00 over but with negotiations I got it down to 35.00 over. Great job and will use these guys again.

Mercury Auto transport worked well for me this time. My account manager, Charlie S, treated me as if I was his most important account at the time. Several years ago I had a less than favorable experience w/this company, [which they resolved in a positive way], and it was quite by accident I ended up w/them this time.[I confused them w/the last auto transport co. I used] I am GLAD I did! When next I need an auto transported you better believe I will call MERCURY and ask for CHARLIE S!!!!
My boyfriend and I recently found ourselves stranded in Los Altos, CA, several hundred miles from our Orange County home, with a busted transmission in our truck. We decided our best course of action was to transport the truck home and have it fixed by our home shop for much less money than any of the shops up north were quoting.
Mercury Auto Transport was the first company to answer our call on Monday, and [redacted] personally promised to liaise with the auto shop and that our truck would be delivered in Orange County no later than Wednesday morning. We rented an economy car and drove ourselves home to wait for the truck's arrival.
It is now Wednesday afternoon, and [redacted] has NOT been in contact with the auto shop, has NOT dispatched a transport vehicle for our truck, is asking for double the originally agreed upon price, has been completely unprofessional and unhelpful on the phone (he sounds like he must be high or something), and now seems to be dodging our calls entirely.
We have contacted Fox Auto Transport and hired them to fetch the truck and bring it home for us. [redacted] took our call and was completely honest and up front about how everything would work, no deceptive promises, and was very empathetic to our problems. We feel like we can genuinely trust Fox's services and that they deserve our business. Their A+ rating with the Revdex.com seems well justified, versus the C+ rating that Mercury has (and deserves).
Mercury Auto Transport and [redacted] can shove it where the sun doesn't shine, we are relieved we did not follow through with the transaction and let them steal our money.
Update: After we sent an email to cancel our contract, we finally got multiple emails saying a transport had been dispatched by Mercury and that payment was owed. Fat chance. I lost it and called to complain, and [redacted] refused to even listen to me, talked over me, interrupted me, called me crazy, and said it was my fault. I finally passed [redacted] phone to my boyfriend so he continue the call calmly but [redacted] continued to escalate the call until my boyfriend had to threaten with legal action and end the call.
Kathy did a wonderful job in facilitating my son's car being shipped from FL to CA. The car was picked up on the date she promised and delivered 8 days later ( within the 7-10 window promised). It was a very pleasant experience working with Kathy. I heard a lot of horror stories and saw mixed reviews for many brokers, but my son and I were happy with a job well done by this company.
After searching numerous companies, and many hidden fees...I finally thought there wasn't a better way to have my prize car shipped. However I came across Mercury Auto; From the get-go, Karsten had put my mind to ease. Was very informative and there was no over selling, no hy hidden service; He was very upfront about the whole process.
The day my car was picked up, the driver David answered all of my families concerns and allowed them to watch the 1 hr 1/2 process. Upon delivery, again David was amazing. Took his time in reviewing paperwork, and double checking for scratches, dents and every detail.
This company has amazing staff and really does assist in very detail for car transportation ease. I am very pleased and will definitely refer them to our extended military families!!!
